"A lovely get away, small boutique hotel by the river. Sanctuary room with pool view was outstanding. Quiet, nice size, loved the balcony. Breakfast is fantastic, a la carte menu, wish we had more time to enjoy it. Spa is great, professional staff, loved the massage. Overall staff is doing their best to make you feel peaceful and they will help you, if needed. Will love to come back. - things for the hotel to improve; there's nowhere to hang the towels in the toilet, beds was good but needs some attention since it made noises each time one was moving and the last thing, more service by the pool. "Absolutely fantastic service. I have never experienced more genuine and attentive service from our arrival to departure. Simply flawless. Love the maze like garden with canals and fishes. This hotel gives a beautiful break from the fast-pace of most areas in India. This place is simply heavenly. The food is very healthy and prepared perfectly. Try the beetroot with coconut soup and the paratha soup. This hotel also offers the opportunity to sail on The Lotus for a few nights and watch the reflection of the sun and moon dance on the water.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing and unique"
This is one of the best places we have stayed at. The Floating tents are so unique, in a very tranquil and beautiful location. Everything about it was different. We felt very special, as the service was very personal and nothing was too much trouble. The food and all amenities were very good. The 'swimming pool' is the river, which was brilliant as it was clean and calm with access from each tent. I just wished we had stayed longer. Hotel Tugu is truly magical. From the moment you walk in, you feel as though you have been transported into an antique oasis. We were escorted by the friendliest staff to our Dedari Villa, which includes a private plunge pool, and a beautiful outdoor shower and bath that opened up to our own private koi pond. The room alone is like a fantasy, but the rest of the grounds are just as stunning. The location is perfect - right across the street from the ocean, and Old Man's and The Lawn (which are two fun, young bars/places to hang out.) This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.MesaStila: "Java at its best"
"MesaStila is one of those places that blows you away. So many things about our trip far exceeded our expectations. The food was awesome. The rooms are beautiful. A highlight was the Easter Egg painting hunt that the staff ran for our two little boys. Yokyo (maybe not correct spelling) was sweet and made sure our little ones felt special. Thank you.
