Surrounded by nature you reside in beautiful and authentic houses that just invite you to dream. The service is great, everybody is very friendly, the food is incredible and we felt truly spoiled. Start your day with a tasty breakfast and a healthy juice from the medicine lady (we just loved her), then visit the coffee plantation with a very charming guide and enjoy some hot bananas and end the day by chosing a tasty meal at the restaurant. Make sure you leave room for dessert. Furthermore, the guide from the hotel that accompanied us to Semarang guaranteed for a perfect day outside the hotel. We had a wonderful time and could really relax. It is also worthwile to book a spa session. The Hamam is incredible and the place is so lovely decorated. Stayed in Rakkojae and found it a very serene and beautiful place.. breakfast was perfect (the traditional breakfast is esp good)... room was clean and spacious though there were a lack of hooks to hang our clothes.. the only problem is walls are paper thin (typical of a traditional lodging) so we could hear almost every single sound that's transpired in this place.. apart from that, service and room were impeccable. :)Mathis Retreat: "Sejour à Ubud"

Best cooking class in Canggu! Good value for an excellent experience. I'm actually writing this review on behalf of my parents, who took a private cooking class (but were not guests at the hotel). The hospitality, beautiful setting, instruction and food were all outstanding. They learned the traditional preparation of three Javanese dishes from natural fresh ingredients down to every detail, like making milk from coconut meat. They made beautiful pictures and brought home the leftover food (which we all enjoyed) and the recipes.Mie Cafe: "Amazing"

Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the charming Mesa Stila Resort. Our villa was a wonderful suprise, full of personal touches, and indulgent at the same time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we just sunk into the relaxed pace. There are not enough superlatives for the view - it is breathtaking. Staying here is a privilege and we are grateful for the experience. Although not a typical "child-friendly" resort, our 7 year old daughter was made to feel extremely welcome - she enjoyed the horse-riding and participating in the batik demonstration. "This was our 4th visit to Sea Dance in two years , living close by makes this our favourite choice for a short break. Poy and his team never cease to amaze us , from the moment we arrive we feel like we are home again. This is not a hotel but Paradise. So beautiful with a nice garden. Room is very very big with simple decoration but very convenient. We love the scenery around the hotel, it is wonderful. "We didn't know what to expect - having been recommended by a friend who recently moved to HCM City to work as a teacher but we were very pleasantly surprised! The menu was in both languages and also had photos also! The employees had been extremely patient and useful and also showed us how you can come several of the meals into the Vietnamese like rolls!
