Review by: Louise M | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a wonderful stay / experience - We just love Sanak Retreat Bali. After travelling around asia for 2 months We arrived at this wonderful, beautiful and most quiet place at Bali. We had a lovely and warm greeting by the staff / No I Will not Call it staff but the Sanak Family. Due our stay they where all so kind, helpful and aware of every guest. The surroundings are breathtaking and even in rain season this is the perfect place to be for exploring and relaxing. We are looking forward to come back!"

Inle Princess Resort: "WOW, WOW, WOW – just awesome"

Review by: PatrickLongBeach | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place is the best!! I read some of the negative reviews and after staying at this property, I can only assume that the people were on drugs who did not like the place. This beautiful property sits waterfront on the lake. When you boat arrives, they turn off the engine and paddle in so the guests are not disturbed by engine noise. Our room was massive! All wood and just beautiful beyond belief. Same with the bathroom - massive. The big treat was the outdoor shower, we both loved it. No television in the room which is great. Perfect bed and netting around the bed. Dining room was just great with great food. The service was off the chart great - from check in, bar, dining room and even the friendly gardeners. I had a massage which was also just great. Our tour guide picked us up each day in the boat and off we went to see the sites. I regretted not having an extra day just to hang by the pool or sit on my deck, something you might want to think about because it is so peaceful. PROS: Massive room Great air conditioning Great Service Great food - especially breakfast Good drinks Great views of the lake - quiet Great bedding with turn down service They spray for mosquitos like crazy CONS: None I would highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a hot, jumping disco club disco place, this is not for you. If you want to relax and see the sights, this is it!!!"

After a 20 minutes beautiful boat ride, you arrive to the hotel. The setting is wonderful. The service amazing. You really have to try the spa, very professional at good price in a luxurious setting. Food was okay but not exceptional. Strongly recommend it

Villa Song Saigon: "Thank god we stayed at this hotel in HCMC"

Review by: Aabeach | Source: tripadvisor.com
I am so glad we stayed in this hotel. We said it about 5 times a day how happy we were that we chose this hotel. HCMC is a big dirty busy city and this hotel is a little haven in HCMC. The other hotels we walked into in the city were very old and tired and i didnt see one I would have preferred to have stayed in. If we had stayed in town as our final stop of a fantastic holiday we would have been very very disappointed. It is a beautiful hotel, everything is brand new. Our bedroom was a standard bedroom and was very big with a very big shower. The pool is so relaxing. The only thing we were worried about was this hotel is in District 2 however it didn't matter as we caught the speed boat into town when we wanted and they gave us a mobile phone to call when we needed to be picked up - it is a 10 min boat road and very relaxing trip. I would stay here again and again and would not bother looking at hotels in HCMC D1. When you get off the speed boat the city is right there so that is not a problem either. My only complaint of this hotel is the service is not spot on and needs polishing. We constantly had to wave the waiters over for drinks and when we were at the pool they were nowhere to be seen (there is a bell to ring but they are slow to come) however this would not deter me from staying here again.

Bali Jiwa Villa: "the real Bali in a very elegant setting"

Review by: mlefevre | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We have been several times to Bali Jiwa Villas and every time it feels like coming back home. The staff is very professional and attentional, very kind yet very discreet and we love to dine there. The food is super fresh, delicious & beautifully presented without being over the top and we love the Indonesian accents. I particularly love their home made jams, especially the banana one.. so yummy! The fact that they have a surprise menu rather than a la carte is unusual but we both really love to be surprised ( I do not eat meat but Made, the cook always find the perfect dishes!) The villa is spacious and one feels free.. No huge cement walls closing up the space.. on the contrary the serenity of the surroundings with the breathtaking view is always appeasing when we return and we make sure to spend as much time there are possible. It is simply perfect to unwind and reconnect with the surrounding nature. I personally always look forward to the fireflies at night.! They also have a collection of coffee table books about Bali/Indonesia and novels in three languages to borrow from, so I never need to carry much with me. We love to sit in the big salon and read while drinking a delicious ginger tea and nibbling on their home made cookies ( the coconut ones are my favorites!) We love the fact that it is hidden and so quiet but Ubud is only a jump away and the staff was always very accommodating to arrange a transfer for us at any time we wanted to go to watch traditional dances or visit one of the art museums. Will we come back! Definitely. Can we recommend it ? Absolutely."

TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "rejuvinating natural splendour"

Review by: Jay D | Source: tripadvisor.com
"At this point in your travels this is the perfect place to be. Whether you've just completed your travels over to begin a trek or are in the middle of your journey you're probably ready for some clean air, beautiful views and sophisticated but understated pampering. The lodge itself sits astride a mountain ridge outside Pokhara allowing views to the north (Himalyas) and south (Pokhara). If your expecting ""bling"" (flat screens etc) forget it. If your expexting a proper mountain lodge then this is it. Beautiful architecture, natural building materials, total comfort, privacy and unbelievable scenery. I stayed for 3 days and never tired of the food, on the contrary I was left wondering what's next. Every meal has a local or continental version impeccably prepared and served. The chef and many of the staff have been at the lodge since it opened and have the food, beverage and service dialled in. I know this might sound a little ridiculous but I spent 3.5 weeks travelling India and Nepal and this was my favorited place to spend a few days. I guess it was just the perfect place at the right time. Next year we are hoping to do a 2 week trek, this is where we plan to start and end, I can' wait. "

Villa Song: "A delight"

Review by: Shrewsbury1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Ho Chi Minh City is a buzzing metropolis. Villa Song is located 15 minutes away up the river. It was a joy to go in each day by boat and return again on the boat in the afternoon after pounding the pavements. The staff are charming. Food and service are great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a lively but peaceful oasis. Highly recommended."

Amata Lanna: "Few days in Chaing Mai"

Review by: Elaine R | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful small hotel with friendly and helpful staff no restaurant but breakfast is provided and was nicely presented with an adequate choice of food ,Slightly out of town requiring a taxi ride home in the evening but there are restaurants nearby if required

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Ideal place to rest"

Review by: Alanstours | Source: Trip Advisor
"I have thought long and hard about this place and in truth would have given a 4.5 rating, it deserves more than a 4 but not quite a 5 for me. It has been mentioned e resort is remote, this is a bonus and a hinderance depending on the length of your stay. Here more than a week and you may feel a bit trapped, a few days and an idyllic escape. There is a restaurant near the main entrance, face 7/11, turn left and walk about 120m and it is next to a Korean restaurant. Never got there ourselves but a chef on holiday went and highly recommended it. We took a taxi into Chongmon for an evening away. It must be said the food, accommodation, service and staff are very good and worth staying to eat, but it is more expensive. Just outside the hotel are a couple of taxi/travel shops. We used one for taxiing to Fishermans Village one evening and a mornings trip round the Island and found them good value. Another hotel resident had issues with them on car hire, so go carefully. We had a sea view room with pool, well worth the extra for us when you want some privacy. You also have the hotel pool and beach nearby if you want to be sociable. Beach is OK and shared with the Outrigger Hotel next door. Some rocks to snorkel round and can be a bit rough, but that's nature and varies. On Sunday afternoons a live band, quiet good, and Wednesdays an evening where guests get a few nibbles and drinks. Pay the owner is often around and a pleasant host. Faith is resident hotel liaison and good for sorting anything you need from local tips, hotel issues or advice where to visit Not far from ferry to Ko Tao and Koh Penang and also close to airport but flights do not disturb hotel. Well worth a visit and hope to return. Room Tip: All with pool were good"

Reverie Siam: "2nd Fabulous Stay"

Review by: BooBear34 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! I am already planning my 3rd stay soon at my home-away-from-home!"
