Hotel Tugu Bali: "Perfect, down to the last detail!"

Review by: EvelienLa | Source: Trip Advisor
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Tugu Bali! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, full of Balinese influences. The staff is very attentive and kind, the breakfast is fingerlicking good and I can highly recommend watching the sunset whilst enjoying a high tea. Also worth pointing out that the bed at Tugu is probably the biggest and comfiest bed we have ever slept in. Would love to stay here again!

The Village House: "Amazing retreat"

Review by: sarahhanson43 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at the Village House on 9th July for 3 nights. What can I say about this place, everything was great. The layout and decor is first grade and has the real feel of a relaxing yoga retreat. If you want 2 or 3 days simply to unwind and kick back in a rural setting with the soothing sounds of running water lapping over the pool then this is the place for you. We both fell asleep within minutes of arriving due to the relaxing ambience of the place. The food was excellent. Every one of our meals was delicious. The staff were very attentive and helpful in booking excursions or transport. There are a few good places to visit nearby. The Wetlands national park and Sarawak Cultural Village are on the doorstep and both well worth a visit. One thing to note though is that the hotel stands very much on its own without any restaurants or shops nearby (not that it matters with the good food on offer) so this is definitely a short stay place to recharge the batteries."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Dining experience not to be missed"

Review by: NJBAM | Source: Trip Advisor
"The setting, food and service were top notch. If you are someone that wants to enjoy a unique and delicious meal this must be on your list in Siem Reap. I saw on their website that reservations must be made weeks in advance. There were 4 in our party. There were two tasting menus to choose from and 2 of us had one menu, 2 the other. The chef and his staff take great care in presenting beautiful, unique and wonderful dishes. The price point is so reasonable that as U.S. Citizens we were blown away for what is brought to the table. The owner reached out to me once the reservation was confirmed to ask about any food allergies.I found that to be very considerate and a testament to wanting to be certain that the menu offered to customers is not compromised . The owner greeted us warmly after we arrived and the chef came out to speak to us as well as others having dinner. The ride from our hotel in a tuktuk was fun as well. As I said earlier, the setting is lovely. We all loved the entire experience at Cuisine Wat Damnak. We did sit inside by the way which was comfortable and a personal preference, rather than outside with fans. That may or not be an option depending on when you make your reservation. I would not bring children here."

muang la: "Northern Laos a very special spa resort"

Review by: Theresa S | Source: tripadvison.com
"Situated on a river with hot springs and nestled in beside a small village this Hotel taught us more about high quality cuisine and life in Laos than any other. It was unseasonably cold but with coal fires in buckets (!) at each table and a large fire pit close by we were never cold. Hotwater bottles in the beds, hot thermal tubs on stilts in amongst the trees, a pool on an island, I think you must be getting the picture that this is a pretty special place. From the hotel we visited hill villages and this is a great place to hike from. Picnics, 4x4 vehicles and guides, transfers etc all organised by this hotel. It is a remote part of Laos and therefore very unspoilt. This is a gem of a hotel in such a far away place "

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "A little piece of heaven"

Review by: veniera | Source: Trip Advisor
"Only for who is looking for relax and real contact with nature. No windows, doors or keys, forget shoes and phones, bathroom is openair. Andamane sea in front, savannah behind, mangroves canal, jungle around you. Typical and excellent dishes served for breakfast and dinner. Opportunity to make some really thrilling experiences with a thai guide. Thai original massages in a beautiful setting on the beach. Staff is really nice and helpfull and give you all the privacy needed. We were there for new years eve and was a wonderful beginning with bonfire on the beach, fireworks, lanterns throw. As I said a little piece of heaven!"

The Village House: "Comfortable place"

Review by: zoyapetrova | Source: tripadvisor.com
We loved the hotel. Quiet, comfortable place where you can really relax from the worries. Fine cuisine! The chef prepared a special diet menus at our request. Competent and responsive staff. Especially impressed by the good Aliffa. We made friends with her. She is very friendly and hospitable answered all our questions, even with our incomprehensible English. How nice it was to see her friendly smile! Our conversations have helped us to better understand and love Malaysia. We will recommend your hotel to our friends.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Charming boutique hotel"

Review by: HenryOnly | Source: Trip Advisor
Located just across its sister hotel, The Apsara, the Rive Droithe is located in a quiet part, less touristy area of Luang Prabang. The hotel manager, Hann, is delightful and friendly. Good breakfast, friendly service, charming French colonial style buildings, nice pool, and good dinner selection if you do not feel like venturing into town at night, although please note that the selection is less compared to the Apsara across the river. Also please note, although the wifi is pretty good, not all rooms can receive wifi reception. Overall, a very good boutique hotel in Luang Prabang

Villa Song Saigon: "Great hotel away from the center"

Review by: SarahT40 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Colonial villa with smart decor. Lovely big swimming pool. Located next to the river. Enjoyed the complimentary 10 minute boat ride to center of Ho Chi Minh. Excellent restaurant. A la carte extensive breakfast menu in a lovely setting. We had two adjoining rooms with a sitting room inbetween overlooking the river. Third floor no lifts so you needed to be able to manage stairs although I think there were rooms on ground floor. Lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A Wonderful Wildlife Safari ro remember forever"

Review by: JandJMelbourne | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were a big family comprising 3 generations, mostly inexperienced campers plus one passionate elephant keeper/ animal conservationist,,and we arrived to a warm welcome which included delicious cold drinks and towels. Very welcome after a long drive from Ella .Right from the start of my research into a safari into Yala NP over a year ago, I had a special feeling that this safari was going to be a huge highlight of our big family trip to Sri Lanka. Wonderful pre trip communication with Sophie and Noel, and then we met Sajit, Praneeth , Damien and the rest of the wonderful team. Our great, comfortable tents ( I could even use the outdoor shower at first go ), delicious, varied food. We had 3 picky children, a 15 yr old vegan and all the rest, and we loved ALL the food. Great get togethers in the communal areas, with those G&Ts and Tiger beer. What can I say about the fantastic expertise of Sajit and his team. We learnt about animal alarm calls, Sajit provided us with a priceless example of using them to spot a glorious leopard in the fading dusk light. Of course when you go on safari you hope to see the prized animals, and we sure did, but we also learnt about the expertise and experience required to locate these majestic creatures. We also loved the colourful birds, mongoose, jackals , peacocks and the stunning varied landscapes. 2 dawn safaris, 2 dusk safaris, a bear, elephants, numerous deer, families of monkeys, and miraculously a few sightings of leopards. An experience of a lifetime, We Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts, A true highlight of our trip, and we hope to return and have recommended you to family and friends. Kind Regards from Jennifer, Juris and family. Room Tip: The best safari tents, great beds and very adequate amenities."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Great peaceful and beautiful break from the city!"

Review by: Suz6267 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at 4 Rivers for three nights during the rainy season and had a great experience. The hotel staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Vy, the tour guide, adjusted the day of sightseeing perfectly when the torrential rains came. While I'm sure that this resort is even more amazing in the non-rainy season, we were able to have a peaceful couple days relaxing and reading, while still touring parts of the river in between rain showers. The food was phenomenal - it is largely western, and is very inventive and artistic. Apparently 4 Rivers recently added a young phenom chef who is putting out dishes like you see in New York. There are a few local dishes also that were tasty. All in all, we had a great time despite the rainy season. The hotel managed every detail from booking to check out perfectly and made the trip a very relaxing break from our tours of the larger (stressful) cities in Vietnam and Cambodia."
