Tugu Lombok: "Amazing"
Although some might feel the place is too dark and is haunted, my husband and I however loved the quaint interior at the Tugu Lombok. Every piece of furniture or wall carving has been carefully chosen to decorate this hotel. The service was beyond excellent and they had an array of bespoke activities to choose from. I cant wait to come back! The River Resort: "haut de gamme"
"Paradise! From the staff, the hotel, the service and amenities, rooms.... I felt at home. I can't stress how much it's worth every penny, and that you will cherish and be thankful that you treated yourself to this little piece of paradise."Mathis Retreat: "Everything An Ubud Hotel Is In Your Dreams"
"This is the hotel you imagine when you think of staying in Ubud. The view across working rice paddies is amazing as our the rooms, quiet amazing. The infinity pool across the rice paddies, the bean bags by the rice paddies and the general setting are all amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is too far out of town to walk (unless you want a long walk) but a van is run by the hotel every hour and they even made a special journey just for us. The breakfast is amazing, as little or as much as you want from the breakfast selection menu and whatever you have is great. Stay here, you wont regret it."Inle Princess Resort: "Quiet piece of heaven"
"Everything starts when you enter the hotel area. By boat, of course, but with the engine turned off - not to disturb other guests, and also to let you enjoy the serenity of the place. A boatman joins your boat at the gate and helps bringing your boat (using traditional rowing by leg) to the jetty. Everything is peaceful at the hotel; it is really a place to rest and relax. It is environmentally friendly and provides a lot of info on the surrounding nature, particularly the birds. The water in the pool is very cold; when you experience the evening and even more the morning temperature here, it becomes clear, why. The staff is utmost helpful, the free minibar is a nice touch, all the toiletries are high quality and locally made. The clientele is upscale and old - if you are 40, you will probably be the youngest guest; if you don't wear a shirt for dinner, you might be the only one. The breakfast is as good as the view from the restaurant which was a refreshing change from the rather dull and disappointing dinner the night before. They even make traditional dishes if you ask in advance - I tried the Shan noodles and was happy. Perfect, at a price. But this is the kind of tourism Inle Lake should do to stay as unspoiled as possible. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "3 days at the end of 2 weeks in Bali with our daughter and 2 grandchildren"
"Very interesting layout. Our suite was on the second floor with a huge Japanese style tin bath and great ocean view. Very rustic appearance, but with all modern conveniences. Our daughter's suite had a plunge pool and koi pond. The best aspects of the hotel were the perfect service, and the large grassy lawn space next to the beach. By the second day the wait staff knew us by name. Be sure to try one of their many specialty prix fixe dinners. Not much to do outside the resort, compared to other areas of Bali, but that's OK."Jing’s Residence: "Stunning"
An architectural gem--courtyard privacy and elegant spacious public rooms, with grand comfortable bedrooms, a management and wait staff that are friendly, helpful with great suggestions-- amazing hotel by any standardLocavore: "EXQUISITE"
For what you pay for, you are getting a Michelin style restaurant meal. There were certain courses that did not hit it out of the park, but overall the dining experience was superb. Easily the highlight of my Bali trip.Tugu Lombok: "I found a place I want to get married"
"My first stay at Tugu-Lombok and it was remarkable. The ground was very beautiful with its own private beach. I stayed for 4 night, travelling solo, and I had a blast. I had a driver and travel guide to take me around South Lombok beaches, gilis (further south, not the crowded 3 gilis off Senggigi), and water fall which I booked separately. So, I didn't experience the overpriced excursions from the hotel. However, my stay had everything I expected and beyond. The service and staff were awesome. They would go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. My room is in one of the Kampong Villas, in the corner, away from the main area. It has outdoor (private) bathroom, which was nice, however, you'll have to deal with mosquitoes and humidity whenever you went to the bathroom. I brought my own mosquitos spray, fortunately. The hotel is secluded from everything else. So, its restaurant was the only one nearby. I had dinner twice. The food was really good, but so pricey. One night I had dinner on the beach, and for that I needed to reserve my place a day before. But since I was out and about the whole day, I usually stopped by at local food places (traditional Lombok cuisine) and brought them to my room for dinner (and sometimes breakfast). And 2 swimming pools with have more than 25 m in length ! Yes! This triathlete was very grateful for that. I swam laps daily at 5 am, before the sunrise. The pool near the restaurants was never crowded. However, the other pool was hardly had anyone in it except me during my stay. The only regret I had during my stay was it was too short. I'll definitely be back."Heritage Suites Hotel: "Beautiful hotel in Siem Reap"
"What a beautiful Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap ! Great architecture, with an amazing swimming-pool and a beautiful spa managed by Bodia, a well known brand in Cambodia. Rooms are hudge, beautful and very well equipped. Smiling and efficient service, great food and a beautiful bar. What else could you ask for ??? Maybe a pick-up by a vintage car ? They do that also! Thanks to all the team"
