Maduzi Hotel: "Great location! Great helpful staff! Clean and spacious"
"I booked this based on good reviews.... pleased i did! Private and Location is excellent! Staff friendly, breakfast and dining great, clean spacious rooms. We stayed 2 nights then came back again our last night in Bangkok. At the doorstep nearly.... all to the right as you walk OUT of Maduzi driveway. Street food on footpath outside and up past 7/11 yum too! Maduzi offers a gym and a lovely bar area, dining area, day/ lounge area."Glenburn Tea Estate: "Superb location, lovely property but terrible access"
"This is not your usual hotel experience. This is different - not in Darjeeling but about 45min drive from Darjeeling, boutique hotel in a tea garden estate, handful of rooms with mostly foreigners as guests, different cuisine and a unique experience. It is not cheap though but if you want different experience then you need to come here. The only problem is access road that leads you to here. Final stretch of 30min is simply horrible as road is unpaved and full of uneven ride. Your vehicle will not be able to go beyond 10-15kmph. No wonder, all Glenburn package include two way transportation in their own vehicle. You have an option to spend a night in log cabin down the hill next to river Rangit. Fully equipped log cabin offers all basic comforts with hospitality from Glenburn that includes welcome drink, tea/coffee snacks, campfire & barbeque dinner all done by their team for you to relax and enjoy. Next day morning you can hike and go to village Majhitar and come back. River Rangit divides West Bengal and Sikkim. The hike from Glenburn to loghouse and to Majhitar (which is Sikkim) can be about 12kms but it's a fun walk fully escorted by their team. The only negative point is wifi internet access is weak and unsteady. This needs to be addressed by Genburn team though. We welcomed that rooms do not have even TV but communication via social media is a necessity today."Amata Lanna: "an oasis in the rush of Changmai"
If you believe that small is beautiful then you will love this niche hotel. Just twelve large rooms based on the old Northern Lana style - that is teak buildings and platforms around a central pool. The staff are charming and attentive. A place to chill and relax after a busy dayMathis Retreat: "Superbe Hotel, Un sejour memorable a Ubud"
Everything was perfect, always smiling and helpful staff, infinity pool overlooking the rice fields, the breakfast very good and plentiful, the rooms beautifully decorated and arranged are very comfortable, fast WiFi throughout the hotel. Some rooms offer views breathtaking of rice fields, a beautiful sight to wake up! The hotel is quiet and intimate. This is a no-fault you can go for it.Manukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."Flower Island: "Amazing place"
My boyfriend and I stayed here with two friends for 4 days and it was undoubtedly the most wonderful part of our trip to the Philippines! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the island itself is like paradise. We did some fantastic activities too - a tour of a pearl farm (which was fascinating), snorkelling trips, paddleboarding.. And we saw turtles just off the house beach. The huts are beautiful too and all look out to sea. Truely wonderful - we'd recommend this to anyone either as part of an active holiday or looking to chill out for a few days.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"
"This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Fabulous stay"
"Although a little further away from Battambang (around 2km) than other hotels, the beautiful surroundings, well-appointed rooms and excellent food are well worth it. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We were there to celebrate a 60th birthday and they arranged dessert with candles and sang happy birthday! We had a great tour of all the sights around Battambang with Mr Dan the tuk tuk driver, arranged by the hotel. Also, we had a cookery class in the restaurant just for two of us which was a great experience. Thank you for a brilliant stay."Talabgaon Castle: "A pearl tucked in the beautiful Rajasthani countryside"
"Located one and a half hour from Jaipur on the way to Ranthambore or Bundi, Talabgaon Castel is the perfect blend of Rajasthani heritage and culture ! The road to reach is crossing the countryside and villages. I love the thrill of diving deep in the rural India and suddenly reaching this splendid property. It brings you back in the royal times ! The castel has been remarquably renovated and improved by this family of polo players who are passionate about their legacy. I came with some friends and we were welcomed and by two of the brothers who take great care of us all along our stay. The staff is professional and provided an excellent service. They serve authentic Rajasthani food made with the vegetables from the organic garden. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Chose one with the view on the swimming pool ! I particularly loved the gardens where you can stroll until the organic gardens, the farm the polo field and meet on your way some peacocks and even an emeu ! Perfect place to explore the rural life of India and to relax. They offer a large range of activities in an around the hotel (horse riding, walks, jeep safaris, camel cart ride...). We all wished we had stayed longer ! Thank you to the Talabgaon family for lovely time! Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"David’s Kitchen: "Faultless"
"If someone had said before we left the UK that we'd be actively seeking a European restaurant in a country reknowned for having an amazing local cuisine I'd probably have laughed at them. The joke would have been on us if we'd missed this place... I'm not one bit surprised this establishment ranks so highly: the food was superb, the service first rate and I can only count on one hand the number of other restaurants where the owner actually comes out to see if everything is up to standard. My only regret is feeling a bit under the weather otherwise I'd have gone straight to the tasting menu. I have a feeling no matter what you choose from the menu it's not going to disappoint. In short I can't commend this place highly enough. If it wasn't 9000km away we'd be back in a shot."
