Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely grand"
Beautiful hotel , Restaraunt and Spa . Old time Elegance situated on the river . Very grand , can't praise enough . Delightful place to sit on the Terrace overlooking the river for a late afternoon cocktail . Bliss . Soft lighting hanging from trees in garden makes for a very romantic setting .muang la: "What a wonderful oasis"
"Visited very briefly during an extended planned trip and had to be dragged away otherwise we would have quite happily stayed for a lot longer!! Staff couldn't have been more attentive or friendly and every little detail had been thought through thoroughly to make you feel special. Thoroughly recommended"Villa Song: "Bliss"
Beautiful boutique hotel on the bank of the Saigon river. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. A stunning oasis of peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet the city is easily accessible via the hotels speedboat. Immaculate clean decor plus the breakfast was first class. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"The Island Lodge: "A bijou at the Mekong Delta"
Our stay at The Island Lodge was simply awesome. The food is great and the service is extremely polite and attentive. Michel has taken his time to personally talk to us and make guests feel welcome which is much appreciated and adds to the warm experience we had. The whole experience is rounded up with the nice swimming pool at the Mekong river and the Spa which invite to some relaxing moments.Manda De Laos: "Excellent restaurant"
Excellent restaurant in a beautiful garden. The food (local Lao food) was excellent and the service was also very good. We ended going there in four of our six nights in Luang Prabang.David’s Kitchen: "Must try in Chiang Mai"
Davids Kitchen is located 15 mins drive from the old town, but it definitely worth a visit if you are in Chiang Mai and for special occasion. You would be amazed by the garden when you first arrive. The food is fantastic and staffs would give you great recommendation if you are not sure what to order. David was also in the restaurant and making sure every guest is enjoying the dinner. We also got a little sweet surprise at the end of the dinner. Would definitely come again.Villa Song Saigon: "Classic Oasis in Saigon"
"Villa Song Saigon provided my family with a great two days in Saigon. It is a quiet and classic getaway away from hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was incredibly welcoming and took great care of my family of five. The breakfast was delicious and the river side location enjoyable. It combines classic architecture and modern amenities. If you are looking to be in the center of District 1, this is not the place for you. However, there is nothing in District 1 that can come close the the classic Saigon experience of Villa Song Saigon. Room Tip: If you don't like climbing stairs, choose a room on the first or second floor."Villa Song Saigon: "Perfection"
"This hotel is wonderful. You may hesitate to stay somewhere a bit outside of the main HCMC hustle and bustle, but once you're here you won't regret the decision. I didn't care much for HCMC, so after a few hours down there, it was nice to escape across the river (like fleeing back to the CT suburbs after an afternoon in NYC). Breakfast is fabulous and served to you riverside - full menu of choices. There are pretty regular boat shuttles into HCMC but if you don't want to wait for one or miss one, a cab ride is like $7 USD (which, if you can afford to stay here...shouldn't really be an issue). Beds are comfortable. Turndown service included yummy pastry - cream puffs, madeleines. Because it's a small hotel, the pool is quiet and never crowded. They also exchange cash at spot! Would return. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
