From the moment I arrived I felt at home in my comfortable room. Very friendly staff, excellent service wished I could have stayed longer. The food was fantastic too and as for the quirky interior design it must be seen to be believed. This will now be home from home whenever I come to Bangkok. This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.Muang La Lodge: "Séjour Inoubliable"

We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Song. The extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff made us feel at home in no time. The great location of the Villa directly at the Saigon river in the very hipp and up-coming District 2 of beautiful Saigon adds to the overall quality of the stay. My wife booked us for long weekend holiday to Siem Reap. There are certainly lower priced options. Slightly quirky including vintage vehicle transfer from airport. It was a 1968 Mercedes which had seen better days but charming nonetheless. Service was sincere, attentive and charming. Room was nicely appointed but slightly awkward setup for couple with teenage daughter. For cpuples itvwoukd be easier. Rollaway bed was not cheap but setup when we arrived. Minor issues like power outage and dead telephone were quickly resolved. Had one lunch, 2 breakfast and drinks in restaurant. "Warmest of welcomes to the campsite from Dhanu and the crew Superb accomodation combining outdoors and luxury The best food we ate (and we had a lot to compare to!) in fantastic setting outdoors with just the right amount of background to the ingredients. We were also made to feel very special as it was our honeymoon And of course, what we came for was the safari and it far exceeded expectations. Not only were we lucky enough to see a leopard, but we were given so much time and care to ensure we got the big picture and could enjoy the breathtaking wildlife and scenery We will be talking about this short trip for days!! "Many Europeans find the traditional Malaysian Cuisine challenging, with blachang , ikan bilis and fiery sambals. However at the Dewakan you will experience a startling transformation ! The chef has worked in Denmark at Noma, regarded by many as the best restaurant in the world were only local produce is used. The Chef has taken this concept to Malaysia and uses only local raw materials except for the lamb. The result is amazing. "Lovely decor, lovely building, excellent staff, convenient quiet location, great breakfasts. Don't use Mr Noi Monyoopanow as your limousine driver. He chain talked to a variety of women using several phones for the whole trip to Hua Hin, often driving fast one handed. Front office and all staff were extremely helpful, and fantastic. Great breakfast. In retrospect we should have had dinner here, rather than a very underwhelming expensive meal at Nahm (which I wouldn't recommend - see separate review). Would suggest that each room have it's own iron and ironing board, although this was quickly provided. We also asked that our room be sprayed against mosquitoes after we left in the evening, although we had no problem with mosquitoes, just noticed loosely fitting balcony doors. Pool area was nothing special, but adequate, and we certainly enjoyed a quick dip in the pool at the end a day out, before getting ready for dinner. Would highly recommend, and we hope to stay again when next in BKK."Mathis Retreat: "Lovely place"
Very nice and quiet place located 10 min scooter drive form the center. The staff is nice and the manager will help you with what ever your questions must be. The breakfast is very good. Loved it here
