Tugu Bali: "Came for the dancing, stayed for dinner"
We had a great time here. We saw the sign when passing looking for an ATM earlier in the day advertising the traditional dancing so decided to come back for dinner. Booking is essential! We got the last table. The dancing was great but the food was the best I’ve had in the week I’ve been here so far. Sure it’s a little pricey by Bali standards but I promise it is worth it! We would definitely come back.Satri House: "Perfection in Luang Prabang"
"We recently stayed three nights at the beautiful Satri House and loved every bit of our stay. The hotel seems straight out of a travel magazine as it is decorated very stylishly but simply, without skimping on luxury. It's a quiet oasis to return to after a day of sightseeing - have a beer Lao and a relaxing swim at the beautiful pool! The location is ideal - just a few minutes bike ride to town, and on a quiet street away from the main drag. The staff is wonderful: kind, attentive, and one of the best parts of the stay. They easily made dinner reservations and arranged private excursions; they even went out of their way to get us bubble wrap for things we had bought. No complaints at all about this gem of a hotel in beautiful Luang Prabang - can't wait to return one day!"Villa Mathis: "un hôtel pleins de magie"
Supanniga Eating Room: "Supanniga Cruise Menu"
Wow! What a nice surprise. This was my first river cruise in Bangkok, and I never really expected a Thai gourmet dinner. The food was very good and beautifully presented. There was: Taittinger champagne and an Amuse Bouche of fried Thai mackerel wrapped with Chaplu leaves, an Appetizer of 3 minced pork stir-fried with garlic and peanuts, pomelo salad with grilled prawn and spicy minced chicken salad, a Soup- Thai spicy soup with jumbo prawn, then 5 main dishes- pork, crab, fish and "Son-in-law" eggs, Dessert- mango sticky rice (the mango had been shaped into a flower) and to finish Petit Fours and Tea. All outstandingManda De Laos: "Tasty of Lao Royal Authentic cuisine with nature view of Heritage Lotus Pond"
The food at Manda de Laos was super great and amazing, nice ambiance with friendly service by lovely staffs at the restaurant. I think the price is suitable on what you get. If I have chance to visit Luang Prabang, I definitely go back to this place. Lastly, I love banana ice cream :)Amata Lanna: "Excellent in every aspect"
Stayed here for 4 times, really had great time. The room was clean, adequate and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, and informative on places to go. The location was great and easily accessible by all means. The Hue House: "Good choice, reasonable price"
"We didn't know what to expect - having been recommended by a friend who recently moved to HCM City to work as a teacher but we were very pleasantly surprised! The menu was in both languages and also had photos also! The employees had been extremely patient and useful and also showed us how you can come several of the meals into the Vietnamese like rolls! The portions were huge and also the food was tastey. We experimented with 3 various dishes and also had 2 drinks as well as the cost was extremely reasonable. if you're searching for a geniun Hue cuisine with good price and nice view, this's the very best option."Villa Song Saigon: "Height of luxury"
"We treated ourselves to a stay here on the last night of our holiday. It isn't cheap but does offer an exceptional experience. Just taking the speed boat into town makes it worth it! They organized a great tour to the tunnels for us and we enjoyed sitting in the peaceful gardens by the river drinking cocktails. The room is a luxurious boutique standard. The pool is a great size and lovely temperature. The only thing that could be improved is that the attitude of some of the reception staff was a bit snooty, it could be more universally warm and welcoming. Everybody was polite though and it felt very special to stay here."Satri House: "Great secluded property"
A wonderful relaxing spot in a beautiful lazy town. Great for an escape from the world especially for a long holiday weekend or even longer if you really plan to explore the region. The staff is amazingly attentive without being pushy.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Beautiful, unspoilt, far flung"
It's a bit a trek to get to (4.5 hours from Phuket airport) but it's worth it. A set of individual villas for rent next to the deserted beach with monkeys, hornbills, butterflies and pigs for company. The staff, particularly Massi, are super friendly.
