Villa Song Saigon: "Great escape"

Review by: Jane P | Source: Trip Advisor
"A lovely get away, small boutique hotel by the river. Sanctuary room with pool view was outstanding. Quiet, nice size, loved the balcony. Breakfast is fantastic, a la carte menu, wish we had more time to enjoy it. Spa is great, professional staff, loved the massage. Overall staff is doing their best to make you feel peaceful and they will help you, if needed. Will love to come back. - things for the hotel to improve; there's nowhere to hang the towels in the toilet, beds was good but needs some attention since it made noises each time one was moving and the last thing, more service by the pool. We could use a drink in the afternoon (even though room mini bar is complementary) Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Locavore: "Spectacular"

Review by: ian p | Source: Trip Advisor
This restaurant has lots of great reviews so we went with high expectations. We had the 5 course meal however there were about 4 little courses before that even started. The presentation on different rocks is spectacular and the food matches it. Not cheap but the whole experience is worth it

Satri House: "Lovely Sanctuary"

Review by: chocfudge | Source: tripadvisor.com
Pluses - Perfect in almost every way. Beautiful property. Lovely staff. The deluxe room was gorgeous & the attached balcony was a charming addition to the space. We tried the spa - that was very good too, both facial & the relaxing oil massage. For breakfast, even if you're not a noodle lover, do try the chicken noodle soup. It's delicious! And a great way to start the day, either before a day at the temples or after the dawn pilgrimage of watching the monks' procession. A nice 10-15min leisurely stroll to the town centre. Complimentary bicycles provided if you want to ride. Oh, and look out for the elephant in the open enclosure across the street from the property!

Cuca: "Tapas in Bali"

Review by: Jessie T | Source: Trip Advisor
Had a wonderful dinner at this place. We brought our own wine. Their tapas menu is quite limited. We did not have the tasting menu - instead we ordered most items on the menu - very reasonable price! Their roasted pork buns are to die for! Their desserts are delicious too! Must try if you are in Jimbaran.

Villa Song Saigon: "One of the most beautiful Hotels in the World"

Review by: BombaxFlower | Source: tripadvisor.com
Went with my husband for a week end escape. The old villa has been restored magnificently. Pool is perfect. We had a room overlooking the river, with spectacular furniture, classic charm and attention to detail, beautifully renovated. Truly an escape. The location on the river away from the main city is perfect, very quiet and peaceful, fantastic to watch passing boats over breakfast overlooking river. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was perhaps less impressive, not a great selection. Wine was however very good. The speed boat trip to town was complimentary, an added plus, very fun.

Villa Mathis: "Awesome Wedding Venue"

Review by: Roxeen2014 | Source: tripadvisor.com
We went for a wedding and family and friends had booked the entire Villa for the time we were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms, lounging areas and pool areas were fantastic. My only concern was to do with the tile areas around the pool as they got extremely slippery when wet and as there are no fences around the pool areas probably not really suitable for younger children who cant swim, having said that my grandchildren who are nearly 10 and 5 had a wonderful time. I would have no hesitation recommending this beautiful Villa.

Le Calao: "Superb service, lovely view and delicious dishes."

Review by: Skydivej | Source: Trip Advisor
Can't rate this place highly enough, it was just a perfect evening and that's saying a lot, given how picky I am about service & presentation. Service was attentive and earnest but not overbearing. Food was delicious and well-presented. Wine list was quite sufficient to meet our tastes and the dishes we'd ordered. Finally the view was lovely towards the river, the fairy lights were pretty and the building itself is quite something. We wanted a nice, hassle-free romantic dinner and Le Calao delivered a truly lovely evening.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fabulous Respite"

Review by: Andrea M | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here after a grueling six day trek, and what a welcome reward it was! From the moment we disembarked from our jeep, up the steep driveway to the property, our entire group was awed. Literally perched on a mountain top, you have sweeping views from both sides of the mountain. The villas scattered around the property work to maintain privacy, while the beautiful common area has little nooks for privacy, or you can choose to sit on the beautiful verandah, to take in the views, have a drink and rest. The dinner, meanwhile, was delicious, with the tables elegantly set in a non-pretentious way. The villa was beautifully decorated, and again, after our hard work and life in a tent on the trek, the luxurious bed and bathroom was so welcomed! It is truly a retreat - either from the demands that wonderful Nepal asks of you as her traveler, or from the demands that your daily life asks of you. I will certainly return - and might just take in one day in Kathmandu, then come directly back to Tiger Mountain Lodge for three days of beautiful relaxation and rejuvenation."

Mie Cafe: "most creative young Khmer chef!"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: Trip Advisor
Always pleased to get back to a place I liked... and see quality is consistent, service is even better and the chef still humble and creative. Congrats to Chef Pola and his team!

Tugu Bali: "Tugu Hotel Bali is a luxurious slice of history"

Review by: BTS_Rider | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed in a Dedari suite while I was at the Tugu Hotel Bali. I loved having the private plunge pool and outdoor swing daybed. I also quite liked the outdoor bathtub with attached koi pond. However, the hotel decor is what's so amazing here, and it is definitely one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. Everywhere you look there are beautiful antiques and artefacts. It's a living museum. I also took in the Thursday evening cultural dinner which includes a Balinese dance and music performance. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience this is the place to have it.
