"Stayed for a night in the separate house (which has 2 bathrooms) with 3 other friends. The house was well maintained and clean!Hosts were responsive and helpful. You could borrow the hanboks from the host to try on and take Instagram-worthy pictures with the traditional setting. As if you just hopped on the time machine! What we love most was the breakfast! It's ""SEOUL YUMMY!"" (So yummy, pun intended). Just by looking at the picture is enough to salivate!' It's so good that we felt all other meals we had during our trip were just so plain and average! Words can't express how good it was. You have to try it to know it! :) The location of the house is not so straightforward. It would be good if you have wifi-egg to navigate and locate using your phone! Otherwise I would advise you to get detailed directions from the host before the trip. "Chakrabongse Villas: "MAGIC"
"If you want to see one of the magical side of Bankok, in front of the famous Canal and famous city hot spots, you will find a secret garden with beautiful Villas: the Chakrabongse Villas. Still owned by a member of the Royal family, you can definitely meet elegance, peace, magic and luxury charme with a perfect service. Moreover, is not too expensive compared to other famous Hotel chains nearby.. i definitely recommend to choose it and to dine there with such an incredible view! "We dined here on the last day of our stay in Siem Reap and it was a perfect conclusion. The food was super tasty and delicious. We are real foodies and we were very lucky to have found this place. Also, the service and atmosphere of the place were super nice! We stayed 2 nights here at the end of a wonderful three weeks in Kerala. We arrived at 10am having spent two nighst on the Lotus Boat which was just magical. We were immediately show to our room, which was beautiful, leaving us the whole day to just relax.The food in the restaurants, was possibly a little pricey, and lost a bit in translation but we could forgive this for the perfect setting (right on the beach) and the service and attention of the staff. Walking along the deserted beach for over an hour, only seeing fishermen bringing in their nets is something we will never forget. We had a very late flight home and they kindly let us stay in our room so that we could enjoy the day and have dinner before we left. If you want to relax after touring, or just chill out this is the place to do it. Thank you for the perfect end to our holiday. I hope we will be back.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Relaxing Stay"
"Me and my husband stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights over the good Friday weekend. Our pick up from the airport was arranged by the hotel and it was done in a timely manner. We stayed in the seashell villa with a private pool. Rooms are spacious and having a private pool is def an added advantage. They have a really good infinity pool with a beautiful view of the sea. The in-house resturant has a good selection of Thai food options. We also tried the Sunday brunch which was a bit pricey, but had a great spread. They also have a good gin collection. Last but not the least, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. While the place is away from fisherman's village, it's easily accessible via taxi even at night. "An exquisite traditional house (hanok) set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. Set around a quiet courtyard, there are four beautiful rooms – each different. We had the smallest room, but with it came a dark wood porch jutting out into the courtyard and it was here where we had delicious breakfasts (one morning: mackerel, kimchee, pickles, a delicious seaweed rice porridge and barley tea.) You can also arrange to have a Korean dinner – we had a delicious one of Galbi, lots of small dishes (panchan) and chapchae. To unwind even more there is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees, an excellent way to relax after a long day of exploring. To top it off the host is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. Mr. Kim provided with all sorts of ideas and recommendations as we planned our adventures. We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and had one of the most amazing few days of our lives. From the personalised greeting at the airport , our anniversary flowers, the welcome drink with lemongrass as a straw and the beautiful decoration throughout the property, it is such a special place. I haven't felt so spoilt since I was a child at my grandmother's house. We slept late one afternoon after an early start at the temples, so candles were light so I could take a late swim, fresh baked cakes are delivered to your sun bed as you swim and you are always greeted with a smile. A few friends and I came here mid afternoon after a little sightseeing and were treated with great care and attention by the staff. After feasting over a few shared Chef and Mediterranean Vegetable boards, we all left in the highest of spirits."
