Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "We found perfection"
"If you want a perfect place this is it. Very nice bungalows (only 6) perfect service and outstanding cooking. Basically it is strctured as a foundation (non profit). The bungalows and restaurant finance the integrated tourism school dedicated for students of a poor financial background. Since 2009 48 students yearly can learn all the basics in tourism. A splendid idea. It is worth to pay the price just for all theses reasons. Additionnally they do whatever they can to respect the environment. And all the food comes from their organic garden. Don't miss this place Stayed August 2016, traveled with family"Satri House: "Great Hotel"
Satri House in Luang Prabang is a terrific hotel. Colonial architecture and Indochinese furnishings are lovely, and the placement of Buddhist and Hindu statuary throughout the grounds provides serenity. The rooms are spacious, pool is a lovely area, and the restaurant is especially good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Top notch!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing social impact work and experience"
"Reflecting on the amazing past weeks in Myanmar. I arrived enamored by the strength of its people (especially its women) amidst its sour history of civil war and political unrest. I leave impressed by people and organizations like Yin Myo Su and Inle Heritage who have a vision that holds in balance the need to have Myanmar operate on a global platform but done in a way that preserves and cherishes its rich heritage, culture and environment. After three days of social impact workshops, we are excited by the thoughtful and intentional process that Inle Heritage Foundation and its team are making in using ecotourism as a powerful tool for good. Inle Heritage not only role models what a social business can operate like in Myanmar, but also trains its people to think differently, be curious, and challenge prevailing status quos, while also advocating for the preservation of the rich heritage and ecosystem endemic of the Inle Lake region. Thank you for your immense hospitality Missu, you and your team are an inspiration! We look forward to keeping in touch and following your social change progress!"Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song"
We really loved this hotel, the location, the staff, the rooms and the food were all fantastic. The regular boat shuttle to the centre of the city along the river was also a real plus. Great stay, would go back and would recommend it to anyone.Maison Polanka: "Secret Hotel Bliss"
"Don't pass up the opportunity to stay at this blissful, beautiful hotel. The rooms are fantastic, the grounds, including a fantastic pool, are beautiful and the attention to detail couldn't have been better. There are only 4 rooms plus a separate house - we stayed in the lovely yellow room. They will arrange tours to Angkor Wat though a friend recommended Dara Rann who we booked on our own (and highly recommend). The entire staff was caring and attentive and they even provided a fabulous breakfast in an insulated bag for us to take with us to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat (we were picked up at 445am). They even surprised us one evening with a birthday cake and card signed by the entire staff- thoughtful personal service indeed! You really feel as though you are in a secret hidden haven. What a special place!"Tugu Bali: "A Hidden Gem – Romantic and Relaxing"
We had a wonderful stay at Tugu, Bali whose mission is to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia and it certainly does. It was by far my favourite hotel on the island. There are so many wonderful historical artefacts on the property, we really enjoyed wondering the hotel to look at them and learn about some of Bali's history. The hotel’s theatrically large entrance lobby creates an impression of grandeur. While there are plenty of unique areas to enjoy a romantic breakfast/lunch/dinner. What I loved about Tugu was the friendly staff and the attention to detail. Staying true to the romance element, when our room was turned down, beautiful poems were left by the bed with an array of fresh local flowers. The bath in our suite was incredible and the flower petals added to the ambiance. For Honeymooners and anyone looking for something a little bit special -Tugu is a must!MesaStila: "I Love This Resort"
"I had a wonderful time at this hidden jem of Indonesia. This Central java's coffee-plantation-turned-resort is so lovely. I just loved every minute I spent there and hated the moment I had to leave the resort. Villa was nicely done in Javanese style, food was good (serving tended to be on a slow side, though - may be suitable for a leisurely resort time?), service was responsive, attentive and nicely done, the place was kept very neat and clean. The place with 22 hectare coffee plantation is something must see. I learned a lot about my favorite drink called coffee here. Thank you for all the service that made my stay wonderful. Keep at it!"Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "A must experience in Bangkok!"
The cruise was very intimate unlike the big party boats. Sit down dinner was awesome! One of the best tasting meals we had while in Bangkok. Would definitely recommend Suppaniga to everybody!David’s Kitchen: "Best dining experience in Chiang Mai"
This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.Reverie Siam: "Incredible day and night"
"My boyfriend surprised me with a night at this beautiful place for our anniversary. I cannot quite begin to describe how amazing it is! The whole resort is decorated in a gorgeous 1920's pastel theme. We stayed in a private villa, the bed was incredibly soft and comfy, the bathroom was enormous with a great shower and we even had our own private jacuzzi! The staff were so friendly and attentive, never letting our wine glasses become empty. The food was outstanding, we ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant- the tapas is beautiful and my lamb shank at dinner was cooked to perfection. They have a bar down by the river which was my favourite aspect of the whole resort, at night the entire bar and garden was lit up with hundreds of tiny fairy lights, it really was beautiful. We spent the day by the pool which was gorgeous and tranquil. The only tiny downside is that I think there may have been slight drainage problems-the drain by the toilet in our bathroom smelled quite bad and ended up making the entire villa smell a bit funny. This was only a small issue though, and I absolutely cannot fault anything else. Thank you so much to the team for making our stay so special, I will never forget it.
