The Island Lodge: "Magic on the Mekong"
What a surprise, much better than it shows on its website and booking search engines. A touch of casual elegance right on the river. French influences everywhere as you'd expect with French owners, very classy open air restaurant and lounge area facing the pool and river on one side and the garden and villas on the other. Rooms above are bright, airy and extremely pleasant. The food is great, although mostly western style. There's lots to do - cycling and boat trips, visits to local markets etc. Only two hours drive from HCMC (the hotel will arrange a car) it's a great escape from the city - a must visit for people seeking respite from the big smoke.Amata Lanna: "Perfect"
We stayed here 3 nights in January & it was lovely in every way. The staff were so helpful, the rooms lovely and the bed very comfy. It's close to the road and there is some noise from that in the morning, but it's otherwise very peaceful. Breakfast was good. No complaints, except the endless rain, but I can remember blame the hotel for the weather.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Exceptional service"
The waiters were very helpful and explained in details on the dishes. Food was delicious and well prepared. Atmosphere was good. Chef personally greeted us a few times at the table and even walked us to the door when we left. The Hue House: "Beautiful Gem and Amazing food"
"This place is Gem in Saigon. The Hue House is just amazing place to be, the Hue Cuisine is just delicious food specially Grilled beef with Hue Sauce and Cuon Diep the rolls is just awesome. The service is good and atmosphere is good. Very beautifully designed restaurant and well planned menu. Its the Hue Cuisine food with all different variety to choose from. Got to say one thing on the dot that food is Amazing. Would highly recommend.Must visit place"misool: "Paradise!!!"
After 8 flight connections and a 4 hour boat ride from the US, this place was just paradise! The passion that these 2 individuals have for this area of the world is evident in their respect and protection of the ecobalance of nature...from the use of only fallen logs for the buildings and furniture to the use of natural bacteria and plant life to filter the water services. The food was wonderful with a local influence and nice variety. The staff were from the surrounding and some far away villages and so very friendly. (...) Our dive guides on our boat, Marafel and Ferry, were so great to hang out with. So fun and friendly, and knowledgeable of the reefs and fishes! They even rescued our camera after we got excited with the mantas on our safety stop. Even though we don't know their names, all the behind the scenes staff were wonderful in making this vacation so relaxing and exciting at the same time! Even if you're not a diver, the house reef is wonderful for snorkeling and the view from the water cottages is breathtaking! We would go back in a heartbeat and I urge you to go and see this piece of paradise for yourself!! Terri F., St Jacob, ILGolden Buddha Beach Resort: "Pure bliss"
My husband and I stayed at this lovely resort for 5 days at the end of our travels through Thailand and it was an absolute dream! All of the staff were very helpful, welcoming, and instantly made me feel at home. As we rode on the long tail boat to the resort I could start to feel my stress and worries melt away, which continued throughout our time there. The food was absolutely amazing and there was a huge variety. I don't think they offered the same thing twice in the week we were there. The breakfast buffet was heavenly and the best way to start each day. Although I have traveled somewhat extensively, I have never been so sad to leave a resort. I would go back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all.Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Hard to find, worth the search"
"The restaurant space is clean, comfortable and a bit minimalist in design. The food is creative an superb. We like to select wines that do not typically appear on wine lists and we chose a glass of Cremant de Jura to start. Dishes of note included large river prawns with pork belly jam and shrimp paste, an incredible sous-vide pork jawl and an aged beef tenderloin. We finshed by sharing a duck egg custard with rice powder. All presented as creative interpetations and generally suggestive Thai flavors. Chef Ton oversees all and appeared to inspect every dish before they went to the table. Despite his resume, Chef Ton is quite young and should be heard from in the future. A tip to find Le Du if you go: when you turn off Silom Road onto Silom 7 Alley go to the end of the alley, to the T and you will find Le Du on the kleft."Tugu Lombok: "Best ever"
My wife and I stayed in July 2015 and we were so impressed by the hotel, its design, The location and best of the best : the team there, you feel like a VIP, a family member and they are smiling and more then helpful. For us it s the best place we have ever been so far. In our memory for everManda De Laos: "Great food, stunning location"
"This place serves great food, but the view is simply out of this world. Sit by the pool if you can. The staff spoke excellent English and the management is French. Their professionalism shows. This simply is an excellent choice to eat great food and make happy memories."Reverie Siam: "Truly memorable stay"
Amazing place, very quiet and peaceful. The garden and hotel grounds are gorgeous. Room is huge and clean. Food is really delicious, great option for breakfast and dinner. Staff is super warm welcome and will sincerely do everything to make your stay truly memorable. They know very well how to provide the best service. Especially thanks to Khun Dee from restaurant.
