David’s Kitchen: "Can I find some original words to express our satisfaction for dinner at David’s Kitchen?"

"Arrived in Chang Mai just 4 hours prior to walking into David's Kitchen, no reservation nor any idea of how popular and fully booked the place always is....never mind, David and his staff welcomed us very kindly and did the miracle: few minutes later a table with personalized welcome card was waiting for us :) The environment is very pleasant, dinner at DK is more than just food: lights, music, smells, all senses are pleased at David's. Menu is very interesting and variated. DIshes are elegantly presented, I recommend the pomelo salad and the duck breast with orange sauce, both excellent, but I would say that every dish we chose has been very good. The wine list is very complete and desserts suggestions are very inviting. Finally the staff has been very professional and kind all the way through, including the lift back they gave us in the restaurant's car at the end of dinner. So, maybe I did not manage to say many new things on David's place and I will finish with another obvious one: we are going to go back there before we leave from Chang Mai!"

Tugu Bali: "Beauty in Bali"

"We had a lovely stay here in September, sadly of only 2 nights... We were greeted and welcomed so well when we arrived after a long journey and nothing was too much for the staff. This area of Canggu is near to Echo Beach and a part of Bali that we see has not been spoilt yet... We were told that Seminyak was the place to go but I disagee and would strongly advise this area as it is more pure and real Bali than Seminyak. Our Dedari suite room at the hotel was truly beautiful and an outdoor/indoor bathroom with fish pond! Only downside was that we thought the hotel was on the beach but it isn't although just a few steps away..."

David’s Kitchen: "David’s Kitchen – amazing service, amazing food"

"We were in Thailand for our honeymoon and my husband planned a dinner at David's Kitchen for our one week wedding anniversary. The service was truly the best, it was amazing to have the actual David come and speak with us and congratulate us on our wedding! But more importantly (in my opinion :) ) the food was OUTSTANDING! The spicy fish salad with green apple - one of my absolute favorite dishes in Thailand (from our whole trip)! We also got the oysters which were so delicious! For dinner we had the Squid ink linguine with spicy seafood sauce which was cooked to perfection and the Braised Beef cheek slow-cooked in red wine with Paris mash, it was sooo tender and delicious. There was even a lemon sorbet pallet cleanser between courses...it was so delicious, we ordered it for dessert too! David's Kitchen is a must if you are visiting Chiang Mai - you will not regret it!! :)"

Amazing experience, location and service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to truly experience a relaxed and friendly environment. We were able to relax and rest in this amazing hotel! The staff offer exceptional service and have excellent attention to every detail, we will return and holiday here again. Thank you!

David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic service"

For my honeymoon I wanted to take my wife to a nice restaurant while in chiang Mai. I was extremely surprised on the amazing service this restaurant offered while we were there. The whole time there was an experience, from their very well enthusiastic staff to David himself catering to our every need. Our table was decorated and had a sign congratulating us on our honeymoon. At the end of our service they gave my wife roses and said it was from me. She was extremely happy that I took her there and enjoyed every moment. Thank you for providing us with A stellar service.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Heaven on earth"

Decadent, Eco friendly accommodation with a difference- I booked two of their tents which included private pools. My family spent one night. They provide a very flexible shuttle into Ubud, with wonderful drivers. We were picked up in Seminyak and the dropped to our next accommodation in Sanur, all preorganised via the internet- really a must do.

Satri House: "Great Hotel"

Satri House in Luang Prabang is a terrific hotel. Colonial architecture and Indochinese furnishings are lovely, and the placement of Buddhist and Hindu statuary throughout the grounds provides serenity. The rooms are spacious, pool is a lovely area, and the restaurant is especially good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Top notch!

Tugu Bali: "Amazing holiday at beautiful hotel"

"Had a great week at Tugu over Christmas with family. The hotel is decorated with Balinese furniture and art, including in the rooms. Food was very good; nice choice at both the restaurant and for in-room dining. Rooms were first-class; we had a villa with private pool and it felt incredibly private. Service from the hotel staff was also excellent with great attention to make our stay very relaxing; all our needs were met including those from our impatient 5 yr old. Would definitely stay there again if we head down to Bali."

Nimmu House: "A Quiet Ecofirendly Place to Unwind"

"Nimmu is a quiet place to relax if you are looking for a place away from all sorts of pollution - air, water, sound, light etc.. The hotel is a restored 100 year old heritage building representing Ladakhi architecture, set in the midst of a farm of walnut, apricot and apple trees, and a stream that comes alive at various points of the day! We loved the ambience, the food and the hospitality of the staff. The general manager Will Maldinez was a great host and made our stay memorable with his friendly chats and great food. You would love this place, if you are willing to be in the lap of nature away from the multitude distractions! The only sore point of our trip was the atrocious transport bill the operator charged us. They indicated an upfront transport cost of close to INR 40,000/-. The operator's representative in Leh, did not share details for the charge when verified. We trusted and went ahead with the booking. Including our airport pick-up & drop we had travelled less than 650 KM, however, we were charged aforementioned unreasonable amount. We were even asked to shell an additional taxi fare for an unscheduled trip we made to Leh! Just be wary of this, so that you are not left with a feeling of having been taken for a jolly ride by an unscrupulous operator."

David’s Kitchen: "Best experience in Chiang Mai"

We went to DK to celebrate our honeymoon... since the beginning the staff was very nice, they set us up a table for "honeymooners" with roses and a special card signed by David and his wife. The food was excellent!!!! Every single plate we ate. David arrived to our table and was very kind and friendly to us, we even took a picture with him!! His wife is very nice too. We highly recommend David's Kitchen
