Rm3/head entry u hv to pay. Remember to pay at entry. Either u can park ur car at entry if u wanted to enjoy walk o jz drive-in. Bware drive slow with headlights 'on' as road is narrow. This restaurant was nothing short of amazing! A beautiful setting by the UNESCO Heritage listed Lilly ponds, coupled with delicious main meals and dessert. If you find yourself in Luang Prabang, this place is definitely worth the visit.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Excellent service"
"After eating out all week at $10 for two joints along the Taphul Road we decided to splash out on our last night and booked a table at this restaurant. They specialise in tasting menus and offer 6 courses for $31 pp and 5 courses for $27. Wines start at $22 and rise to $100. Two different tasting menus are on offer each night so we opted for one of each so we could taste each others food. The service is immaculate and each course is described in detail before its presented. The portions are not huge but that is to be expected with a tasting menu such as this. The location is not walkable from the town centre so a tut tut is required but it is only $2 each way. As I said its an expensive place by Cambodian standards and not a restaurant you would come to on a daily basis, but its great for a treat. the service is fantastic, the food is out of this world and the premises are awesome.I recommend a visit here at least once , but do book a table as they get full very quickly."Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Exceptional Service and a beautiful setting."
"This meets all the expectations mentioned in other reviews and is an exceptional training facility. Rooms spotless, restaurant deserves all the praise as do the staff. The downside for some who wish to relax and rest rather than be out and about all the time can be the noise of the boats going past during daylight hours as the engines can be noisy, and that to get anywhere you must take a boat as it is on an island not linked to the shore. While this was a not problem for me... it could be for others who travel differently. It is also a 1 hour by car, plus 1 by boat journey from Heho airport so early flights can be awkward. Great place, a paradise on earth. You can choose on the spot the places you want to visit and this in French, English, etc .... The owner speaks French very well because it is original Liège. "This is a perfect place for those who are looking for privacy and piece. The villas are very nice decorated, rustic and chic at the same time. Some nice details makes a big difference: the soap is hand made, very nice hand messages around, map full of handwriting messages and recommendations, the baby cot is made of bamboo. They have bikes available to ride around the island, the breakfast is ordered the day before (and it has options for all tastes) and served in the comfort of your Vila. Julie, the co-owner is a sweetheart herself and all the staff is super nice, always willing to help and in super good mood. We felt treated like a family. The only issue was having to log in all the time to the Internet, but when done, it worked quite well. They didn't have a coffee machine when we were there, but it was already ordered. Hotel Tugu is truly magical. From the moment you walk in, you feel as though you have been transported into an antique oasis. We were escorted by the friendliest staff to our Dedari Villa, which includes a private plunge pool, and a beautiful outdoor shower and bath that opened up to our own private koi pond. The room alone is like a fantasy, but the rest of the grounds are just as stunning. The location is perfect - right across the street from the ocean, and Old Man's and The Lawn (which are two fun, young bars/places to hang out.) Set on the majestic, vast and serene Inle Lake, with its floating villages, this beautiful resort is nestled amongst tropical gardens and pods of lily pads. We enjoyed staying in a lovely, spacious lake chalet which had both an indoor and outdoor shower. The service was first class, meals excellent and the pampering spa amazing. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. We hope to return.
