Villa Song Saigon: "Great Boutique Hotel in Saigon"

Review by: Bil1965 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed here last week for one nigh on way home and we will absolutely be back. It was great relaxing change compared the the larger hotels as you'd expect from a boutique property. We arrived, checking in and heading for the bar overlooking the river. Service is great and staff very friendly. We booked a table in the restaurant and decided to stay there the evening. The food was very, very good. The following morning we had a great breakfast sitting overlooking the river and my wife then headed to the spa for a very well priced treatment. I took the hotel bus into town. I great stay, but you pay the going rate for that extra privacy and environment. I would add though that the Hotel boat isn't running at the moment and won't be for some time are the local administration are doing extensive works at the landing site. I can now understand why they have a boat because getting into town takes a while dependant on traffic. Not the hotels fault, and what else can they do. I didn't go anywhere around the hotel but it seems it is in an area with lots of Schools and upmarket property. Seemed to be lost of nice eating places etc nearby."

Les Maisons d’Itac: "A small but fantastic resort!"

Review by: MrUppsala | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day!

The Cabochon Hotel: "A little Oasis in Bangkok"

Review by: Shane I | Source: Trip Advisor
"A wonderful stay in a good location with a 10 minute walk to 2 sky train stations. Welcoming and charming in a time warp back to the French 1920's style with great detail and awesome real local food and well priced. Little nooks to have breaky, read and chill were great as was the relaxing pool area. This is an 8 room hotel that can cater to about 16 rooms, truly unique, our room / lounge was superb. We felt like we were staying at friends and with a warm goodbye wave from the GM and staff on the steps confirmed this. Totally helpful staff and English spoken by all made life easy."

Rachamankha: "Beautiful retreat!"

Review by: Thomas W | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is a beautifully designed tranquil retreat situated within the old city walls of Chaing Mai. When I say beautifully designed, I mean exceptional to the extent that you can sit outside in the court yard and feel inspired by the tranquil beauty of the traditional dark wood roof, the columns and the traditional furniture designs. The only aspects which very mildly let the hotel down is the ceiling of the bathroom is white cork tiles similar to an office toilet from the 1990s. Also the shower head is about 10 years out of date, still works, it just hasn't got the the spread of any modern shower head. These are minuscule issues to point out but it's due to the rest of the hotel being so beautiful. If they did iron out these small aspects & revamp the rooms a little, then this hotel would be in line with others that cost 4 times the price. Tranquil, Beautiful & Relaxing. Escapism. A*****

Satri House: "Special & memorable"

Review by: Tania P | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hotel was absolutely fabulous in every way..wonderful colonial decor, each cranny full of authentic artefacts. Staff were lovely and attentive.. Food delicious We spent our 17 year anniversary there & they pulled out the stops to make it special. All in all one of our favourite hotels ever & will definitely go back."

Manukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"

Review by: Cornflakerb | Source: Trip Advisor
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."

Satri House: "Perfect. bliss"

Review by: taifun69 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Nothing to add really to the other reviewers. This place is splendid with style and characters, quiet because a bit away from the main road. Will absolutely return. Would only say that breakfast service is a bit difficult - you have to order piecemeal (or anyway, that's what our waitress did). Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

Bassac Mekong Delta Cruises by Secret Retreats: "Peaceful cruise on Bassac III"

Review by: Lyn97 | Source: Trip Advisor
We did an overnight cruise on the Bassac III boat on 6/7 Dec 2017. It was an excellent way to see some of the Mekong Delta, combined with some relaxation and wonderful food. The crew were friendly and welcoming and the trip very well organised. The cabins are very small but comfortable and the small ensuite bathroom ingeniously designed. The food was plentiful and delicious. We visited a floating market and a local market and particularly enjoyed the visit to a local village, where we tasted fruit at a local house. Our young guide was delightful and, as she came from the area, she was able to give us a good insight into the daily life on the Mekong. This trip is highly recommended.

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Simplement parfait !"

Review by: charlotte g | Source: Trip Advisor
"Un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel situé au milieu des rizières. Restaurant excellent, personnel professionnel, piscine agréable, chambre spacieuse, vue exceptionnelle... Tout était parfait. Nous avons fais une ballade au milieu des rizières et une baignade dans des piscines naturelles avec l'hôtel. Une activité de qualité où nous nous sommes sentis seuls au monde. Nous avons testé le spa : le top !"

Tugu Malang: "Keramahan ditengah kota malang"

Review by: Deku_Kertorahardjo | Source: Trip Advisor
Having a strategic location amid poor town, close to the city center and the train station. The hotel staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent although vintage ... In the afternoon there drinking tea is free for guests while enjoying delicious snacks. For breakfast there was no buffet menu, but do not worry about the food choices will not disappoint.
