This place is so dreamy, everything about the resort screams perfection. Magnificent staff treat you like family! Upon arrival we were greeted with ornaments to hang on their Christmas tree. The staff took care of us when we got sick, delivering medicine to bedside as well as cold water & other herbal remedies. Honestly.. If you stay here the only problem is you may never want to leave! We spent four nights at the lovely Villa Song in August after a trip down the Mekong and it was a lovely surprise. The hotel is a beautifully restored French villa sitting right on the river in District 2. We chose to stay there because it is away from the hustle and bustle of District 1 and were very pleased with our choice. The restaurant on the river serves great food in a picturesque setting. The pool at the back of the hotel provides a peaceful retreat. Each of the rooms are different and we had one at the back with a little courtyard next to the pool which we were very happy with. The staff are excellent and the art work and presentation of the hotel is 5 star. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Song next time we are in Ho Chi Minh.Manda De Laos: "Last night in Luang Prabang"
Staying in Treasure Hotel across the road from the restaurant. Looked lovely so couldn't resist. Tables surround a lotus pond and red Chinese lanterns cast a pleasing glow. My vegetable Laamp with rice was beautifully presented and much more than I could eat but powered on. Likewise husband's chicken red curry was also delish. Maitre de was attentive and warm. "I will never forget this amazing experience. This place is an absolutely outstanding place to overnight, have only breakfast or maybe lunch or just diner, anything you chose will be an unforgetable time. The hotel staff is top 5star and the kitchen is even better. The chef and f+b manager is a truly artist of his kind, he is a magician and his food is like a firework in your mouth and spirit... Very nice boutique hotel in Ubud. The room is very nice, clean, and the bed very comfortable. The swimming pool by the rice field is a superb way to chill in the afternoon. Free shuttle to Ubud center is a plus:)Mie Cafe: "Casual dining but very good food"
"We made a reservation via their website for Saturday lunch at 1.30pm. The restaurant had many available tables when we arrived. The 3 of us had a good mix of starters and main course and Mango Mojito which was very tasty. Please see my photos for all the delicious foods we had.
