Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion Logo Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Old Charm and stunning Mansion"
"Stayed there 3 nights at the Shantung room on Oct 1st. Was my second time staying there and seems quite an improvement compared to the 1st probably it was from a different management back then. Happy with the service upon checking in. Shiro at the desk was friendly. Glad that we had a early check-in and no hassle of waiting for our room to be ready. All the staff are polite from housekeeping lady to the wait staff for our breakfast, the lady at the bar & the security guard at the main door. I am amazed with the selection of ala carte breakfast menu and buffet spread with the price for the the room. Wish we had time to dine and experience Indigo in the future. "Tugu Lombok: "Paradise after a lonng days travel"
We travelled from Bali to Lombok intending to stay at a home stay, we arrived late in the afternoon & found out the homestay I had booked was 80ks away. Found some helpful locals who took us to Tugu Hotel Lombok, initially I was blown away by the cost but let me tell you that this was an awesome place to stay. Our host was Henry and the houseperson Zul, they were amazing. Zul made a beautiful entrance to our room with candles, made towels into swans, elephants & most beautifully an alligator. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend this piece of paradise.David’s Kitchen: "Can I find some original words to express our satisfaction for dinner at David’s Kitchen?"
"Arrived in Chang Mai just 4 hours prior to walking into David's Kitchen, no reservation nor any idea of how popular and fully booked the place always is....never mind, David and his staff welcomed us very kindly and did the miracle: few minutes later a table with personalized welcome card was waiting for us :) The environment is very pleasant, dinner at DK is more than just food: lights, music, smells, all senses are pleased at David's. Menu is very interesting and variated. DIshes are elegantly presented, I recommend the pomelo salad and the duck breast with orange sauce, both excellent, but I would say that every dish we chose has been very good. The wine list is very complete and desserts suggestions are very inviting. Finally the staff has been very professional and kind all the way through, including the lift back they gave us in the restaurant's car at the end of dinner. So, maybe I did not manage to say many new things on David's place and I will finish with another obvious one: we are going to go back there before we leave from Chang Mai!"Tugu Malang: "Amazing and they know what GF means!"
Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!Satri House: "Une merveille"
"This hotel is a pure gem! The hotel building and rooms are extremely beautiful and very well decorated. The staff is charming and extremely professional. We've also had the opportunity to try the restaurant which serves delicious Lao dishes. In brief, everything was just perfect! We would definitely recommend Satri House."Manda De Laos: "Chilled with good food"
Went last night for dinner. Arrived without reservation and got a pool side table. Staff friendly and responsive. Wine good and food excellent. I had steam fish with dill which was tasty. Overall a pleasant experience for first night hereTugu Bali: "Hidden gem"
Absolutely beautiful property full of Balinese culture and Indonesian history; you could spend a day itself properly exploring, learning about, and enjoying the hotel itself. Staff were impeccable and went out of their way to meet my very need; super friendly. Easy walk (less than 2min) to the beach where there are excellent waves for surfing right there at Batu Bolong beach (with other excellent breaks nearby). Plenty of excellent and hipster restaurant/Cafe options; Canggu way more laid back and less chaotic than Kuta or Seminyak. Can sometimes be noisy at night given proximity to the some of the most happening bars in Canggu, but if you’re looking for intimate luxury in a super-cool part of Bali, Tugu is your place. Rooftop bar had outstanding views, where I also ate my breakfast every morning to watch surfers catch the morning swell. While I came solo, I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat. Thanks Tugu!Flower Island Resort: "A gem in paradise"
"We spent four nights here and loved it.The island is small with only one resort with a capacity to accommodate about 40 people. However, by the looks of it, the usual occupancy is about 10 guests at the time. The rooms are at the lower-end standard. Most have just a fan, but some have A/C. The double bed is small and with the bednet effectively stopping any circulation of air. I ended up sleeping on the extra bed, which was fine. The bathroom is big, but if you are one to enjoy hot showers - this is not the place. BUT; having said all this, Flower Island resort really was the place that made our holiday an unforgettable memory. The location on the island is just fabulous. The staff is outstanding, helpful and doing anything to ensure you have a great time. They offer super nice excursions at a fair price including lunch and drinks. Don’t miss the pearl farm which is really interesting and worth seeing. Also, the walk up to the tower is well worth the effort. The view is spectacular and you can even sleep up there and wake to sunrise... Snorkling; can probably not get much better these days when corrals are mostly dead or dying. But there is a lot of fish and we were lucky to see sea-turtles. Food has received various comments on this site. We found it quite good, although, since it is all-inclusive you don’t get to choose in case you don’t like what’s on today’s buffet. If you are looking for peace and a quite combined with excursions and the odd massage, this is as good as it gets."Maison Polanka: "Perfect in every way"
This is a wonderful haven. It has authentic and stylish accommodation in a peaceful garden setting. The staff, led by the incomparable Francis, are charming, knowledge and helpful. The Green Room where we stayed was unpretentious and stylish. Thoroughly recommended.Inle Princess Resort: "Magical place"
I have enjoyed every minute of the stay at Inle princess. Not only that it's such a lovely, green place with lots of flowers and greenery but also the services quality is impressive. Staff is always eager to run an extra mile to make your stay unforgettable, and the best part of it is how genuinely and kind are they. Last, I've met Sasha, their adorable Burmese cat and she has just stolen my heart
