Reverie Siam: "An experience to remember"
Reverie Siam will always be a very special place for my mother and I. As soon as we arrived we were transported, this place is so much more than a hotel. Every detail has been thought about, the staff were always one step ahead of us. A special thank you to Mr Sabastian for making each night so lovely, we thank you for your talent and experience. To Toffy for your humor and care, we looked forward to seeing you every morning. There is no doubt we will be back to visit you again and will recommend this oasis to all the special people in our lives. Thank you!Locavore: "Amazing food perfect service"
As above amazing food & perfect service - perfectly matched flavours for every single dish! Obviously a lot of thought/research has gone into every dishTugu Lombok: "Highlight of our honeymoon!"
"We arrived and were immediately treated like VIPs. The service was amazing. We were greeted by Henri one of the managers and escorted to our villa. From that first moment onward the hotel staff went above and beyond. We came to Tugu from a trekking trip and my husband was getting over stomach issues that started on the trek. During the first breakfast, he needed to go back to the villa to lay down. When I told the server that, they immediately offered and delivered his food to our villa for him. They also made him a special herbal tea, which really helped his stomach. In every instance, they went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. We sent a bunch of our dirty laundry from the trek to the laundry to be cleaned and it came back perfect, not one stain remained. I don't know how they got all the dirt off of our clothes and boots!! The food was definitely another highlight. We loved that there was no set time for breakfast. So when we decided to sleep in, we could still get breakfast at almost lunch time. They had a wide variety of balinese as well as continental breakfast options. They also had a variety of coffees from different Indonesian islands. I loved trying a different coffee each morning. They also offer to serve you dinner where ever on the grounds you would like. If you would like to have dinner on the beach, in a special bamboo hut on the beach, by the temple, anywhere-they would make it happen. We had a special BBQ dinner on the beach where we had our own chef and server who cooked up an amazing dinner of fish, octopus, lobster, chicken, and vegetables. There was no way we could finish all of the amazing food! We also took a snorkeling tour to Gili island from the hotel. We didn't realize we would have the boat and the driver and guide all to ourselves all day. They made recommendations and we decided where we wanted to go. We wandered around on the islands and went to different snorkeling spots. We could take as long as we wanted at each place. It was amazing! Our honeymoon package came with a free 30-minute massage, which we both upgraded to an hour massage. The quality of the massage was excellent and personalized with exactly the amount of pressure we had requested. Overall, this was definitely the highlight of our honeymoon. With 1 km of white sand beach and beautiful views of the sunset, this 5-star resort had 5-star service (or better). This is truly a special place. We look forward to coming back."The Apsara Rive Droite: "Wonderful hotel with first-class service from friendly staff"
"Everything about the Aspara Rive Droitte is just right. Mr Ai and Mr Hann (the management team) and Mr Ivan (the owner) went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with the hotel's dedicated Aspara Queen taking 60 seconds to cross the Nam Khan and deliver you to the heart of Luang Prabang - and, conversely, escape to the more serene side of the Nam Khan. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast wonderful. The pool is a welcome relief from the heat of Laos, with the bar just a few steps away. After 5 days at this home-from-home, we were sad to leave. We hope to go back"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Exceptional!"
The team at Inle Heritage made my arrival in Myanmar so smooth and welcoming. The team patiently and wonderfully indulged me with all my cultural questions that I bombarded them with. Transfers were super easy and the tour of the lake was nicely curated. I am notoriously picky and there are two hotels that I have been mentioning in the same breath since my return; The Puli in Shanghai and Inle Heritage. Service was exceptional, very detailed and thoughtful. The icing on the cake is that the 6 bungalows and traditional Inthar restaurant are funding the cat + fish breeding, eco farming practices, and scholarships for 40 driven hospitality students each year. Like others have said this is not luxury and there are a little few missteps now and then from the students but it doesn't matter as it is all so personal, detailed and welcoming. From the moment of my booking Ms. Thant Zin Aye, the GM, was helpful and generous over email and in person when I arrived. Ms. Nang Khin May and Ms. Chaw Su Thet Htar were so sweet welcoming. Mr. Htun A Tint is a natural in this hospitality game and will go far! I have recommended this hotel to everyone and I would be there in a heartbeat on my next trip to Myanmar.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Perfect oasis with an exceptional staff"
"How to begin? There are six bungalows which sit over the southern part of Inle Lake. Your time spent here will not only give you memories you’ll always remember, but the money is going back into the area to preserve and help it thrive. Inle Heritage is not-for-profit, and they have a vocational training center on site to teach students from around the country about hospitality. It takes about 2 hours from the airport. Roughly an hour by car, another by longboat. I would recommend staying here instead of the northern part of the lake because you’re closer to all of the sightseeing. Don’t worry about the hour boat ride, because you’re sightseeing along the way! Make sure to keep your camera out so you’re able to catch some of the fishermen on your journey south. Take a big breath of the air too, it’s the freshest you’ll ever smell. Once you arrive, there are 6 bungalows. It’s also connected to a restaurant which makes the best food we’ve honestly ever eaten. We fell in love with Burmese food in Yangon and Bagan, but couldn’t believe it could get even better in the Shan State. A lot of tour guides will stop to eat at the restaurant since they have fresh, clean, and of course delicious food. The bungalow is perfect. The inside is clean, simple, and very relaxing. There are so many windows that bring in the freshest breeze all throughout the day. The view from the back is breathtaking and peaceful. I never read that Inle Lake was surrounded by such beautiful mountains, but the views everywhere are unreal and go on as far as the eye can see! The room is spacious, calm, and quiet at night. It’s such a treat to come back from dinner to have turn down service with hot water bottles at the foot of the bed. It’s so cozy! The bathroom area is also very spacious. The shower is big and the water pressure is wonderful. Breakfast was included, and they do not disappoint. You get so much delicious food, even if you’re full you keep eating because you wonder if you’ll ever have a breakfast this good again! Having it brought to your bungalow was something we looked forward to every morning. This was arranged the evening before so you can just wake up to an incredible meal. By the way, the organic food is grown and picked just outside your bungalow! You can’t get any more fresh than that. Also, we are both vegan, so they went above and beyond to accommodate our diet. We always love eating local authentic food when we travel vs. western, so being able to enjoy everything the other guests would also enjoy was perfect! I can't stress enough how their food was the best we've ever eaten in our entire lives! There is also a Burmese cat preservation on site as well. This is a wonderful cause since it’s re-introducing Burmese cats back into Myanmar. All of the cats are well cared for and are such a treat to visit while staying. Please make sure to stop by the gift shop. There are a ton of great gift ideas - especially cat themed. The money helps local artisans, and disadvantaged people in the area. They are constantly working directly with these people to get new items into the shop and help create a business for those less fortunate. Anything extra goes back into the Burmese cat preservation. My Husband and I originally booked 2 nights here for the middle of January 2016. The location and staff blew us away so much that we decided to change our flight and added an additional night. Thant Zin helped us call to cancel our previous flight, found us a new one and booked it for us as well. We couldn’t believe how simple she made it, and how happy she was to help. She honestly made our entire stay one we will always remember. We really appreciate all that she did for us, and so happy that we left as friends! We were continually blown away by the top notch service. Still, after 3 nights we wish we would have stayed much longer. What we loved the most about visiting Myanmar were the people, and everyone there proved it time and time again. Their kindness and willingness to help is above anything we’ve ever experienced. Every little detail was perfect. We felt like they were our family, not staff, during our entire stay. Having stayed at many boutique and top hotels, even a few that have made the TripAdvisor list of best in the world, this topped them all. If only I could put into words the feeling Thahara Inle Heritage gave us. I’m hoping this review will shed light on such a beautiful place. Stayed January 2016, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "We had a perfect time!"
"Perfectly romantic for our Honeymoon. Great service (booking tours, printing documents needed...) Very good breakfast (fewer items but all very fresh) Gorgeous architecture, amazing swimming pool, great location to explore the old city on foot or by tuc tuc. Can´t remember any downside of this place"Tugu Bali: "Good Service, feel Healing and Relax"
loved the embience of Hotel Tugu and around, enjoyed the facilities and the services very good, they always cleaned the rooms every time I went and got back with a clean room and fresh. all staff very nice and gracious, overall i like the hospitality.Satri House: "Really lovely!"
I looked at many, many hotels online for Luang Prabang and could not have been happier with my choice. This property is absolutely lovely - a serene and tranquil escape after busy days of sightseeing! The staff could not have been more hospitable and accommodating, and the food was great! Stayed for a week utilizing all the various services - dining room for a variety of meals, pool, spa, bar, library - all terrific. Special kudos to the staff who were truly so nice!Summertime Villa: "Serene getaway for the discerning family"
I was tempted to book 3-4 rooms at a 5 star hotel for our family getaway. Then a good friend of mine suggested that I try Summertime and I am super glad I did. This is probably the best run vacation home in Goa-- the service is excellent, discreet and non-intrusive. The rooms are spacious and furnished with great Balinese...Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
