"The room is delightful, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is like heaven, and the view is stunning.. We really enjoyed the visit, we stayed in Bhagavad Gita Room with personal pool and spacious bed. All over the hotel has beautiful antique furniture, sculpture, paintings, etc. That makes the hotel very unique and exquisite. The food is quite expensive for local tourists but reasonable for those who come from stronger currencies. After 3 visits for dinner I am still amazed that this fine dining restaurant is so close to us in Yangon. My husband and I will surely access it from the Lake Inya side in our kayaks soon, but coming by car works well too. The owners are Swiss and the standards of food and service are impeccable. The food is international, utilizing local ingredients to offer a blend of Burmese and European specialities. Their tasting menus, with or without wine, are a gastronomic joy and as a pescaterian I am thrilled by the choices of fish entries and fresh produce. Sitting by the Lake with a cocktail at sunset is very romantic so this restaurant is the best choice for couples. We even saw a wedding party there recently. On arrival, our car dropped us. You have to take a small path to get to the hotel. This lush haven is by the Mekong River. We are greeted with a great "welcome drink". The rooms are beautiful, spacious and decorated tastefully. We are in the midst of lush nature and facing the Mekong. Children have much appreciated the lovely large pool. "We stayed in double bedroom apartment (4 people) and had a wonderful stay. Building and decoration of exquisite taste, remarkable artifacts you would not find in standard hotels, rooms in pre-existing local houses, refurbished with attention. Location is half way between crowded city center and Ankor Wat - tuktuk is definitely needed but arranged by the staff. Food is really good, and staff really helpful - they were kind enough to arrange for us a barbecue after an event outside. Very nice! The pool is very comfortable and enjoyable. This was my first visit to Ho Chi Minh and been to this restaurant 3 times for dinner during my stay of 5 nights there. The food was fantastic, price reasonable, excellent and friendly service from crews especially crew name Anh Phuc. My family has good time here. Appreciated. "Le cadre de Ce superbe Hôtel colonial est incroyable : entouré d'une plantation de café et d'une forêt (jungle?). Calme absolu. Très bon service. Nous avions une chambre magnifique, sorte de villa individuelle avec une très belle terrace, des meubles de très bon goût, salle de bain incroyable ouvrant sur la jungle. Belle piscine avec une vue magnifique sur les arbres. Très bon restaurant. Les soins du SPA sont du même niveau que le reste. Je sillonne l'Asie du Sud Est plusieurs weekends par mois depuis 4 ans ... et il s'agit probablement d'un des plus beaux hôtels de la région. "This is an outstanding hotel. Beautifully refurbished former French colonial mansion with about 25 rooms. We stayed in a Sanctuary room on the top floor. High quality dining at tables beside the Saigon river. Rooms are beautifully decorated with every facility. Loved the TV that rotated 360. The hotel's own speedboat runs a shuttle service to the city centre. Staff excellent. Attention to detail (eg anti mossy spray on dining tables) My wife had a birthday while we were there. Very beautiful place, very charming, top atmosphere, with 3 very old lotus pounds Patrimoine Mondial de l'Unesco. Food tasty, staff very professional, fair. We had dinner then lunch there, in both case we appreciate! Most recommended! Book in advance.
