Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Exactly what I needed"

Review by: sasser868 | Source: Trip Advisor
"After a hectic week in KL a stay at the Blue mansion was just what I needed. It has a magic atmosphere as if you step back in time the grounds themselves are perfect and the room I stayed in was amazing (Liang room). It was calm and relaxed during the day and I had the pool mainly to myself. The breakfast was yummy and service was always very helpful and accomodating. I also recommend highly to dine at the restaurant upstairs Indigo the room is equisite and food superb. It is a place that is probably more suited to couples without kids as it has that sort of vibe, so if you want a romantic get away I recommend a stay. I would love to return again with my husband in tow. Stayed January 2017, traveled solo"

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Perfectly Curated, Exceptional Service!"

Review by: Suzanne S | Source: Trip Advisor
"I loved everything about this hotel. The style is incredible - every room feels like you're walking into an adventure. Everything is spotless - so clean, even though so many of the objects and fixtures are vintage. The food was amazing - I ate three meals there and loved each one. The staff assisted me with public transportation which was spot on. I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved it!"

Amata Lanna: "Excellent in every aspect"

Stayed here for 4 times, really had great time. The room was clean, adequate and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, and informative on places to go. The location was great and easily accessible by all means.

Tugu Bali: "Entrancing trip back in time seductive and excellent"

Review by: shasha b | Source: Trip Advisor
"A quick drive apres arriving at Denpasar we bear down on this enclave with its own laidback vibe. Its got all the blah-blah yoga resorty stuff that allow people to reconnect with parts of themselves they should keep private. Entry is via a huge open foyer, supported by towering teak beams, with history everywhere. Our room is unique furnished with ancient artworks and a giant four-poster even bigger than ours back home. Dowenstairs is a private pool. Everything reeks of history of art deco. Its an entrancing trip back in time allowing us no chance to resist the hotel's seductive charms."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Amazing Sanak Retreat!"

Review by: Aghpt | Source: Trip Advisor
"Amazing stay at Sanak Retreat! We loved every minute! The Retreat is beautiful, the villas very comfortable, the decoration is outstanding and it looks like ""time stand still""! The service, the food and the attention to all our needs were fantastic! The Spa was amazing and the 3 hours walking tour was very nice and an educative activity. We leave in Bali and it was a great getaway with the family. Hardly recommend for a few days relaxation. Thank you Sanak Team! We will be back! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"

misool: "Mind Blowing"

Review by: Andrew H | Source: tripadvison.com
"This would have to be the best overall holiday experience of my life incredible diving and snorkelling a resort that doesn't just talk ECO but walks it in a big way lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, you don't want to leave. Fabulous staff who really look after you ( get a massage) the food is excellent and they will do something special if you don't fancy anything on the menu. Room Tip: the rooms on the side of the island where the restaurant is save walking. "

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A wonderful time"

Review by: stevenlogiacco | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at the Blue Mansion over Christmas and wanted to pass on our thank you for the hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Our time at the mansion was that beginning of our honeymoon and we were greeted with flowers on the bed in the shape of a heart. The room was an excellent balance between heritage and modern comfort, and each time we returned to our room after exploring George Town it was an absolute joy to return as we made our way through the beautiful building to our room. The staff were amazing and genuinely happy in their work, and we looked forward to the wonderful breakfast each morning in the courtyard. For me, these breakfasts were very relaxing, the food amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere just perfect. As we were spending Christmas away from home, it was lovely to receive a small gift on Christmas day. It is these little things which really stand out and remain in the memories of a stay. The cherry on top was being told we could open the back door of our room (which we were unaware existed) and be the first to use the new pool area which had been finished that very afternoon. Again, this is something we will never forget. As my wife and I sit now at a resort in Langkawai, we find ourselves thinking back to our stay and actually miss being back in George Town at the mansion. You have very special accommodation offering which we would recommend to anyone and would love to come and stay again in the future. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"

Rachamankha: "Delicious place and delicious food"

Review by: peroslo5 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Rachamankha is a beautiful hotel in Chiang Mai that also happens to have a very nice restaurant. We went there to celebrate some friends who was guiding in us in Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai during our stay. We went there early in the day to book a table for the evening. 5 persons having beer, water, wine, starters, main courses, desserts and coffee. Everything served with a smile in surroundings that were just as wonderful as the food. And we all felt welcome. I would go as far as to say; the best farang Thai food in Chiang Mai. Not spicy. I'm sure they would make it spicy if you want. And the Tenderloin were just perfect. If you want to experience a special place, go to Rachamankha. It's worth every bath. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Simply amazing and unforgettable"

Review by: Melsy1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in tent 6 north for 2 nights...we do have regrets about our stay. And that is basically the fact that we didn't stay longer. This place is beautiful. A friendly welcome on arrival as we then took a boat ride to the resort. Having just come from Phnom Penh the first thing that hits you is the calmness. A further friendly and informative welcome once we reached the resort. We arrived mid afternoon and took advantage of the wonderful food and sipped a couple of beers on the deck in front of our superb accommodation. The sheer size of the tents and the comfort factor and ammenities available are fantastic. I loved the fact you could unzip the tent to allow you to see the beautiful surroundings at all times. As well as allowing a subtle breeze. The fans provided help with the heat and humidity and the bed is large and comfortable. I love how EVERYTHING moves with the flow of boats passing or people walking on the walkways. Dinner choices are required in advance where you can choose the set menu of the day or simply pick what you like from the standard menu. Breakfast choices are also required in advance. The food is very tasty and the restaurant staff very polite and efficient. We enjoyed a trip to the waterfall. Our 2 guides and boat driver were very good and also great fun. Very interesting to hear how they now have jobs at the resort having been poachers. We arrived prior to anyone else and it was great. The water is warm to swim and the scenery gorgeous. Butterflies everywhere and of course the flowing falls. Fried rice cooked fresh on boar for lunch which was delicious. A thunderstorm started upon our return boat trip..I'm not good with lighting and I'll never forget the guides 'ducking' and 'cowaring' with each lightning strike...when I saw what damage the lightning strikes had caused to their coconut trees you'd understand why. Thankfully after watching the rain fall with such force into the river as we arrived back it stopped. We went on the free trip to see the fire flies. Stunning and so bizarre that they all congregate to one tree..it flashes like a Christmas tree...but it much more beautiful...and the stars...in such darkness the stars are so bright. We were off to Kep after here and were so glad to be given the choice of when we departed. 8am 10am or 12pm. We went with the later time so to optimise our time. Using this to take a leisurely breakfast and to take the kayaks out for a paddle round the island. We saw rhinoceros hornbills and archer fish. Highly recommend 4 rivers. Long may it stay exactly as it is"
