Sukoon Houseboa: "Dont Miss it"
"We had heard lots of bad things about stay in HouseBoats and had finally decided to skip this experience. But thanks to our travel agent who forced us book this place. I just have one Word for the houseboat ""AWESOME""!!! The houseboat is extra clean with no foul odor. The service is top notch! The food was excellent (bit slow in serving) They have well trained staff and could feel the difference with the way they treated people. The Deck was nice and had a very good view. We regret staying for only 1 day, and would surely return for a longer stay. Thanks to the staff of Sukoon for making this a pleasurable experience, was truly the best part of our Kashmir trip."Talabgaon Castle: "Lovely secluded heritage hotel"
"Stayed for a night at the Talabgaon Castle with my husband. It was intended to be a night stop-over to break our road trip from Ranthambore to Delhi. But, to our surprise, it turned out to be so much more than comfortable beds and clean sheets. Although a little ways off the main highway (a few miles on a narrow village road), it was certainly worth the detour. A beautifully and functionally restored Rajasthani heritage property, the Talabgaon castle has comfortable and well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Large gardens with intimate seating areas (and, the main garden/lawn has a resident emu.....along with a few peacocks passing through), a nice swimming pool with ample sunbeds and a seating area, and a restaurant, offering both indoor and al fresco courtyard dining. Dinner was good with plenty of variety on the menu. The only two letdowns were the very limited choice and and taste of breakfast, and the TV (it was a small box TV with no channels). But, given the location and alternative ways to spend our time, we did not really miss the TV too much. And, are happy to give this property a 5 star rating and a recommendation of ""do visit""."Rachamankha: "A superb and authentic boutique hotel"
This place has everything I am looking for in a boutique hotel: charm, character, personality, style, comfort and more. Every single detail has clearly been thought through by someone of great taste and the result projects unpretentious refinement. The location is also excellent as well as the restaurant and service. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Honey Moon Couples"
Rice and Zen Boutique Resort is one very very very beautiful resort. Resort it have over 5 star standard ! The resort owner Mr. Micheal and all the staff so friendly, the staff Maya, she is best kitchner, we are miss your food.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "lovely christmas lunch"
Great venue overlooking the lake, lovely tasty food, friendly staff. An exceptional Christmas lunch.Slow Villas and Spa: "Hidden Gem of a Villa!"
Slow villas is as splendid, as it's name! We were 4 friends that needed 2 days of rest and relaxation and this was the perfect place. Every time we called reception they were more than happy to help us with any request. The staff are excellent! We ordered deliver, hung out by the pool and stayed in our comfy Slow robes the 2 days. We even had the option of yoga and spa treatments. It is the perfect place to stay at on Gili Air for peace & tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!Locavore: "Fine food for all your senses"
Each dish was a delight to the senses, worthy of a photo and a moment of serious admiration before trying each dish. The amuse bouche and smaller courses were given as much detail and attention as the mains. Many surprises and ingenious ways to use fresh ingredients - a rare treat!Sea Dance Resort: "Relaxation at its best!"
"I stayed at Sea Dance with my family at the beginning of October for 7 nights. What an amazing place! From airport transfer right through to the facilities - absolutely fantastic. Sea Dance is close enough to the center of Chaweng for those who need nightlife entertainment, but far enough away for those who just want to spend their days lazing around the pool with a fine glass of wine while listening to the waves crash ashore. Botique personal service. Almost ever staff member knew us on a first name basis. Even the owner who is actively involved with this beautiful resort. Free use of kayaks and life jackets. Weekly buffets and cocktail events. There is just so much to do at the resort without having to leave! We were fortunate enough to stay in a pool villa. Large rooms with a small plunge pool to cool off on those hot days. This is a place we will miss, but surely not forget! See you all again soon!"Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Extremely Delicious Dishes"
I love tasting menus, and Le Du’s really stood out for me. While there are usually a dish or two that are just “good”, Le Du’s tasting was consistent throughout; excellent. There were a number of dishes I wished would not end! I loved Le Du, and hope to be back, and yes, it’s a little difficult to find. The Village House: "An amazing place – absolultely beautiful and run by the loveliest people"
"The Village House is an easy and traffic-free 40-45 minute drive from Kuching at the foot of Mount Santubong. It's absolutely beautiful - it's clear the owners have put tremendous thought and effort into creating a relaxing little oasis, and they've accomplished as much. The grounds are beautiful - very green and very relaxing with a luxury, boutique-y feel - when you see it, you can't believe how little they charge to stay here! The rooms are immaculate with gorgeous four-poster beds and well thought-out décor. The hotel is really, really gorgeous, but the highlight is the service - they went WAY above and beyond anything I've ever experienced. We forgot a backpack, so the owner lent us one - and not only that, but very kindly stocked it with bug spray and band-aids for our climb up Santubong! Then, when we got a little stranded and couldn't get a taxi back, the hotel chef came to pick us up - couldn't believe how helpful they were. We did two activities while we were here (climbed Santubong and a day at Bako) and they organized everything for us at VERY reasonable prices. We spent no time at all making our own arrangements, which made the weekend super enjoyable and relaxing. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. We've been to the Kuching area three times and this is by far and away the best place we've stayed - and in all my travels, the best customer service I've ever received from a hotel! "
