Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing nature, food and hospitality"
"We arrived by a perfect flight into Yala on the day as a large group for a friends birthday celebration holiday. Noel was the perfect host, the staff and team were hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. We did 4 safari's, over 2 large lots in the national park, spotted 8 leopards (one for a good half hour posed around a waterhole for perfect photos) and discovered many other birds and wildlife. The food was magical, different every meal, great vegetarian mixed with a touch of meat, no-one was left hungry, a great introduction to Sri Lankan food, it was hard to match after we left. Beds are comfortable, flushing toilets and outdoor showers added to the Safari. The honeymoon tent is aircon and glam so jump into that one, otherwise stay cool in the hammock provided outside your tent. I can honestly say, as an animal and bird lover, this was the highlight of my and my husbands trip, I not have the safari bug and want to do so many more! The best Safari in the region."Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect Hotel for our Saigon Experience"
"We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived and it really set the scene for our fantastic stay in Saigon. It is a really beautiful hotel in a peaceful, quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It sits on the Saigon river and offers a free speed-boat shuttle service up to District 1 and the main tourist areas. The staff were very friendly and efficient and always ready to help or answer any questions. Our room was tasteful and the beds were extremely comfortable, and the free complimentary mini bar was appreciated. It should be mentioned that there is no lift at this hotel so if you don’t want to climb stairs I suggest you request a ground floor room. The choice of breakfast from the a la carte menu was fabulous and could be taken at any time during the day which worked well for us. Even though we were a party of 4 the staff arranged the tables by the river so that we could all sit together. The fabulous swimming pool was very inviting and offered a beautiful haven to relax in the sunshine. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. "Maduzi Hotel: "Wow wow wow"
This is my 1st reaction after entered their deluxe room. The room is very big with extremely huge bed (240cm) length, walk in wardrobe, Jacuzzi that can fit in 3 ppl (my 4 yo kid, wife and me). Conveniently located. Breakfast is unique. Must stay!Jing’s Residence: "Do not miss this!"
We spent two lovely nights at this boutique hotel while visiting Pingyao. It is beautiful, serene and wonderfully restored. Our room was not large, but very well appointed with a king platform bed, desk, armoire and mini-fridge with complementary drinks and snacks. The bathroom was perfect with a large shower with great hot water pressure. We ate in the restaurant our first night, and it was terrific! As usual in China, the food was modestly priced and the wine was fairly expensive. But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! But the thing that make this little gem excel is the staff. We travel a lot and I don't think we have ever found a place where every staff member was so welcoming! Everyone spoke English and wanted to practice their skills whenever they could. When we went out, we were welcomed back with an opened front door. When we came in for breakfast (very good and a broad selection), we were greeted by name and asked how we slept. Everyone consistently had a smile on their faces! It was a joy to stay here!David’s Kitchen: "Best Meal Ever!!"
"Well where do I begin with David’s Kitchen..... We were collected promptly by one of their restaurant cars and delivered to a magical setting that is the restaurant. We were quickly greeted by Tae who firstly apologised that David was not at the restaurant this evening but taking a break with his family. I’m certainly not going to deny the fabulous owners taking a holiday. Tae did a fabulous job in their absence. The meal was of exceptional quality, we have eaten all over the world and they have the balance just right, good quality food but without the usual ‘cheffy’ twist, if I want a sticky toffee pudding I don’t want it deconstructed with 17 ingredients I’ve never heard of!! A lot of restaurants forget they are serving paying customers and seem to concentrate on indulging the chef and owners, this restaurant does neither it recognises the guests are there for good food in lovely settings served by genuine people. I can’t praise this little restaurant in a quiet corner of Chiang Mai enough. If you ever fancy expanding to the UK I will be the first one to book!!"The Samar: "Perfect gateway to the temples, with the personal touch"
"I came to Siem Reap for a mix between work and leisure and Samar Villa was the perfect fit. First, as I saw in many reviews, Bertrand and his team are always very attentive to our every need. They helped us organize various functions: from meals in unique restaurants, to temples visits and surprising platform rental with full service on Tonle Sap. We and our clients left absolutely delighted by our stay. Apart from this wonderful service, the villa itself is remarkable. The owners have impeccable taste and a beautiful collection of antiques throughout the public areas and rooms. My suite was spacious and homey and spotless, like I've rarely seen. Breakfast and the food in general were very good and generous. All in all, I highly recommend it and look forward to a 2nd visit."Cuca: "delicious tapas"
amazing dishes, very creative. i really liked this place. it´s in jimbaran area and has a huge garden.Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Wonderful hotel in Can Tho"
Great hotel with lots of character. We stayed in the Nam Bo Suite which was enormous, comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful. We only stayed for one night - but wish it could have been longer.Muang La Lodge: "A little piece of paradise"
"Great place - pure luxury a couple of hundred kilometers north of Luang Prabang. The manager could not have done more to make us comfortable - the food is excellent - and if you need more then they can deal with that (if younger them know). It's not cheap - by Lsos standards - but compares very well with other luxury hotels. Breakfast was brilliant - for the Pain au Chocolat they must flythe flour in from France and have a real French oven. Go for it - you deserve it Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"MesaStila: "Best Start to 2017 and Beautiful Resort"
"I stayed at MesaStila for 2 nights with my friend. We took the Borobodur package that the Resort offer and beautiful Villa over looking the volcano. It is very authentic atmosphere, beautiful and retreat place. what make the place is more special and made a huge different is their employee. My friend would like to have ""Bakso"" which is traditional Indonesian beef/chicken ball noodles and it is not in the restaurant menu. Ana the waitress at Restaurant have gone out of her way instead of saying sorry we do not have Bakso but have said to us that let me check with the Chef and see what I can do for you. Been a Malaysian who understand half of their language I can understand very clearly when Ana mentioned to the Chef over the phone and politely mentioned"" please chef try to do something to make our guest happy"". To me that is 5 star service!! Afdi our Driver during our stay, very professional from the day he pick us up from Yogja, took us to Borubodur and drop us at the airport, he been very kind, helpful and very informative by explaining to us on surroundings while driving us around. Reception who check us in ( I forgot her name - lady with short Hair) - she is very good and has given us proper Resort Tour and Room Orientation. Lily - the lady who took us for coffee plantation, she is very knowledgeable about the surroundings and the history of the resort. The therapist - I had 2 treatment at their Hamman Spa and I can only say excellent! Everyone should try the ""jamu"" drinks and met the lovely Ibu who prepare the Jamu. For Improvement: Accommodation - Everything is antique in the room, I think the lighting need to have some improvement as it is too dark and combination of lighting with yellow and florescent does not goes well. other than that all is great. Landscaper - my suggestion when we have guest occupying the villa perhaps the trimming or cutting trees will be done when the guest not in the villa as this will disturb the privacy of the guest when they are at balcony. Pillow - The Resort should set up 4 pillow for the bed instead of 2 very soft one on the bed and the remaining is in the closet. Sometimes the hotel guest will not recognize that the second pillow is in the closet. Most of 4 & 5 star hotel now set up 4 pillow on the bed instead of 2. Thank You MesaStila Management, keep it up all the good work. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
