The Apsara Rive Droite: "Highly recommend"

Review by: ozkrisc | Source: Trip Advisor
Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights in total, 2 and 3 nights on either side of a tour. We loved this hotel. Mr Hann was exceedingly helpful and all the staff were really friendly. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel during our tour. We had very efficient airport transfers. We felt like we were staying in our own private house, it was very peaceful. The pool is a great size. We liked the location on the other side of the river. The little boat is always at the ready to transfer across, which adds to the charm of the hotel. Our room was a great size, with a large balcony overlooking the river. It has all amenities including bath robes and mosquito repellant. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We used the hotel bikes a couple of times which was a great way to see the town. I got up early to see the monks seeking alms and was the only tourist watching (from a respectful distance!) as they passed by the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Stylish comfort and understated luxury"

Review by: groovereviewer | Source: Trip Advisor
Everything about samanea exceeded expectations; the room was beautiful, extremely spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. The gardens in which the bungalows sit are beautifully cared for and create plenty of privacy and the pool and beachfront area are cool, tranquil and lush. Each bungalow has a different setting so if location is important to you then check where you are when booking. We spent four nights here and will certainly be returning when we come back to Kep. Couldn't recommend it highly enough

Villa Song Saigon: "A gem in HCMC"

Review by: Stuart G | Source: tripadvisor.com
Wow! What can I say. This hotel is testament to the power of social media and Trip Advisor. A perfect place to stay in HCMC that I probably would otherwise never have known about to book. The hotel was previously the home of a wealthy local family and has been converted into a boutique hotel and renovated. It has the charm of Raffles, has one of my favourite architectures (French colonial), has a perfect location right on the river and offers all modern facilities. They served my favorite breakfast every day (bircher museli and eggs benedict) and the bircher was trendily served in its component parts so I could create my perfect cereal. Access to a private boat to get to the centre of the city seemed extravagant and for my children (aged 4, 7 and 10) was like an extra excursion that they looked forward to every day. A true gem and highly recommended!

Tugu Bali: "Thursday night eating"

Review by: Gutless M | Source: Trip Advisor
A delightful evening of wonderful food and entertainment. Great night, very good value for money and an amazing cultural experience. I ate the Rendang for mains and it was one of the best I’ve experienced after many years in Indonesia and Asia. Lovely service by friendly and attentive waiters

Mudanwan Villa: "Bathing vacation paradise"

Review by: circlemwy | Source: Trip Advisor
Spa: Positive Positive Positive! No really! A dip down, you will find that spring is full of rain, thick minerals, the skin immediately becomes slippery slippery! After dry the body more slippery, really a beautiful soup! Food: five meals a day, food to maintain standards! Service: Super multi-day guests, dining regard to delayed slightly, feeling a little neglect. However, they are super good memory, because I do not eat fish, fish dishes they will all be replaced on the menu! I feel very close! Although the price of your side, but the absolute value of the fare. This is also the reason I have repeatedly come on holiday! Cheng. meaning. Push. recommend.

Hotel Tugu Bali: "Heritage meets comfort"

Review by: gisatonat | Source: Trip Advisor
I have been now twice and both were such a relaxing and comfortable stays with the feeling of heritage and historic ambiance and modern comfort at the same time. The staff is very attentive and supported me in my extra demands. I highly recommend (and have to my friends) Hotel Tugu Bali.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Tranquility with views"

Review by: Jan N | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is more like a guest house and a very nice one at that. Faye and William were very friendly and ensured all our needs were met. Breakfast and lunch are served in the lovely gardens overlooking the natural beauty that surrounds, providing an opportunity to marvel at the Himalayas and K2 on a clear day. Dinner is a lovely experience with a seating plan that provides the guests an opportunity to meet fellow travelers to talk about their experience and each night there is a different regional theme to the meals. The tour of the plantation was very interesting, giving me a new appreciation for what it takes to make tea. This hotel is in the mountains and as such the journey there was long and on very rough roads but the drivers are excellent, knowing every bend. The destination makes it worth the journey.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Truly worth the back breaking journey"

Review by: ranjanapte | Source: Trip Advisor
"We travelled from Pelling to Glenburn and the journey to put it mildly is HORRENDOUS. ""Roads""""do not exist and one can feel the bumps in every corner of your body. The last 45mins to an hour is equally bad but the place more than makes up for the travel hazard. Faye and Will (the outgoing Managers) take great care of your every need and the service is extremely personalized. One is not rushed into doing anything, whether it be food timings or day trips. Ranjan Chhetri the local manager is gracious and feeds you with anecdotes of the surroundings. We stayed at the Rose Suite which is well appointed and has ALL creature comforts besides truly living up to its name!!! We ere also lucky to meet up with the estate manager Mr Hussain. He regaled us with stories of the region where he has spent more than 26yrs. The common dining area is a good meeting point fro all the guests but one also has an option to dine in your room with silver service. A must visit again place. Excellent collection of books and magazines to read. No television in the room is a great boon. Kindly try and do something about the road to and from the property."

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Small family run hotel"

Lovely stop on our travel through Cambodia. Food was excellent and rooms lovely. The pool area was being tidied when we were there so hopefully this is complete now. Loved the deep fried flowers we received with our drinks.
