"This is a beautiful place, hidden next to the Exchange Tower. The location is quite convenient with walking distance to nearby shopping mall and the train station. We were greeted by friendly and staff members with an attitude of ever wanting to help, so the check in process was easy. The rooms were big and great. Extremely large bed and comfortable bed. It is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend this place and would certainly book again if I were to go to Bangkok. We decided to splurge once on our trip to China and this was the place to do it. Imam, the Indonesian general manager, responded promptly to every email, accommodated us with early check in (6 AM) since the room was available (and even upgraded us) which was such a relief after the overnight train from Datong. He and his staff were there to greet us, settle us in and were there at every turn for advice, help and service. We borrowed their (free) bikes and went to the temple out of town and the local market outside the city walls. The restaurant provided delicious breakfasts and dinner. Imam was funny, friendly and made our stay. Highly recommended.MesaStila: "A great retreat"
It was our second stay at Mesa Stila and we were totally happy and look forward to going there again. "We loved staying here. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. They service was impeccable! They allowed us to check in early and check out VERY late which was so convenient for us. They have a wonderful scheduled boat that takes you to the center of Saigon in 15 minutes which was just so fun. The idea that you can have your free breakfast any time of the day is perfect! They scheduled a tour for us and we were picked up right on the hotel's dock. The pool was nice and quiet. "Must try/go/taste restaurant in Siem Reap ! Joannes, the Chef, proposes 2 new tasting menu every 2 weeks that will make you discover a high level Khmer gastronomy. Everything here is made to optimize your experience: very very good service,discreet but very efficient, charming authentic refined setting, good wine menu, vegan/vegetarian super friendly and much more but shhhhh.... "Thank you to all the very kind and helpful staff at the hotel who gave us lots of good advice, arranged tuktuk and minibus drivers and always had a friendly word. The rooms are fine, a bit cramped but comfortable. Snacks left in the afternoon were a nice treat after a day out. Breakfast was wonderful with lots to eat and a big pot of tea. The jams are amazing and I don't usually eat jam! Sitting in the bar in the evening after eating out and visiting the night market was lovely. The hotel is very close to town. "If you are willing to get out of the Seminyak strip, this is most definitely worth the effort. Minimalist decor & concrete floors with an open kitchen is a hive of highly organised activity. The tapas style food is innovative, fresh and totally delicious. The owner/chef made himself known at our table and was so enthusiastic about all the local Balinese produce used to create his incredible dishes, the 'Bali Breakfast' is a must. "Neeleshwar Hermitage transpired to be the most beautiful, tranquil and restful place you could possibly imagine. On arrival, with the warmth of the greeting, the hectic world faded away and we relaxed into having time stand still. Ayurvedic massage, beautiful gardens, warm sea, the infinity pool...... and a superb chef all played their part in making it such a memorable experience. The cottages were delightful from the spacious bedroom to the open air bathroom. The hospitality, warmth and genuine charm of the staff was truly heartwarming. After a free consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor I went daily to the beautiful Ayurvedic spa - Priva, for massage and treatment with warm oils. I don't usually write reviews but this is an exceptional one. A perfect & reasonable priced villa for a quick getaway and a relaxing laid back holiday...The manager, Mr Haan and the staffs are very hospitable and very dedicated to provide good service and assistance to ensure our stay is as comfortable and memorable one.Continental breakfast is excellent with fresh and warm croissants and good home made jam, and pretty table setting too...so lovely, ooh la la...All in all, we had a good time here and will come again soon...
