Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Once you had to be good all of your life to seek Paradise, and then there was Tugu"

Review by: Jon S | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had great expectations regarding staying at Hotel Tugu, they were met and exceeded. One experiences what it might have been like to be a Royal family staying at their chief Royal residence; it was so good. The hearts of the staff were on their sleeves with welcoming wishes and behaviour that was so genuine, they really care and whilst training can be taught, this seemed well beyond that, really like coming home to a loving family. Facilities were of the high standard expected and as the name ""Tugu"" implies, artifacts of a bygone era were everywhere including your spacious abode. I cannot add many more photos that would exceed those already on display on their web page but shall add a short video of our last night's dinner (St Valentine's day) and photographs of the surprise we got when returning to our room; thank you so much room staff, you are the best. Thank you Hanny for providing us with a five and a half star experience and thank you for the magnificence of the meals provided, sumptuous breakfast, wondrous and delicious afternoon tea and glorious dinners. Fortunately the secluded and long white sands of the beach out front, enabled some exercise to keep the waistlines within (reasonable) shape. Jon and Nancy"

MesaStila Resort and Spa: "TRULY STUNNING IN EVERY WAY"

Review by: Debbie K | Source: Trip Advisor
"We are a family of four from Australia, includng two young daughters. We stayed here for three nights. Firstly, all the staff are welcoming, friendly and wonderful. We had dinner here for the three nights and each meal was absolutely delicious. Great cocktails too! The breakfast is also amazing. My two daughters and I did yoga in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much to do and enjoy, so many activities. Great for children. Nothing is too much trouble with the staff. The surroundings are beautiful as is the atmosphere. We enjoyed afternoon tea on the verandah each day. We had a family day at the spa, with my daughters getting a hair cut and style, whilst I enjoyed a manicure. Words cannot describe this beautiful place, seeing is believing. "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Amazing place, Amazing food, Amazing service"

Review by: signedk | Source: Trip Advisor
"Its all about the love. You feel it right when you walk in the door. This place is unique. There is a special vibe, witch makes you feel a mix between, right at home, and at a relaxing beautiful spa. The food is so good, every little bite is perfect. If you are ever in Yangon, this is a must visit. Thank you for your kindness, at our visit."

Inle Princess Resort: "TRADITIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL"

Review by: DeanneS228 | Source: Trip Advisor
For the more traditional stay this is the place for you. The rooms are adorned in cedar and their is an outdoor shower that is just divine. Tea and coffee making is included and they have great wi fi as long as a storm doesn't interrupt the feed :) . The staff are so courteous and will do anything to make your stay the best possible experience on the lake. The pool is large and the spa is excellent and very reasonable in price.

Misool Eco Resort: "A True Island Paradise"

Review by: Zaphoid_Beeblebrox | Source: tripadvisor.com
"There are plenty of Lengthy reviews here already so will keep this succinct. Just spent 10 Sublime days & 9 Exquisite Nights at Misool Eco Resort this September. Would have happily spent 10 more. This is a truly special place. I have not been to another resort anywhere that matches the genuine care, warmth and concern that all of the staff show for their guests. Mark and Sue, with their vast Island Resort experience, along with their humble unassuming nature bring a level of Empathetic service and understanding that is unmatched anywhere! I could list all of the other frontline staff by name and thank them individually, but I was equally impressed with all of them, as they were all totally genuine and helpful and an absolute delight to share the island with. This is not some pretentious 5 star resort in the Maldives, or Bora Bora that has spared no expense on all of the modern luxuries at the expense of its surroundings and the Native Peoples. It is a perfect, flawless uncut diamond built in perfect harmony and balance with it's mostly untouched surroundings, in a well considered, thoughtful and sustainable way. The resort manages to simultaneously give back to the local people whilst truly supporting and restoring its pristine surroundings to all of their original glory. If you are a diver, the abundance of Soft Corals and Marine Life on all of the surrounding reefs is overwhelming. If you are not a diver, a leisurely afternoon swim or snorkel on the house reef is just as impressive. You won't find another experience quite like staying Misool Eco Resort anywhere! If you are considering it, Do it! As soon as you have, you will want to go back for more."

Satri House: "Hotel with history and great attention to details"

Review by: Charmaine_Ezra | Source: Trip Advisor
"We chose this hotel because of its history, it was the childhood home of the youngest prince of Laos. A good and safe 10-15min walk to riverside and restaurants and bars. Wifi was really good throughout the whole hotel. Gianni the new manager was always around the hotel grounds if you needed any help. Staff here are really helpful; one even helped me mark out some restaurant on the map that we wanted to try. Hotel should try to get a better map done vs using an internet print out. All the staff spoke fairly good English, no issues communicating just speak in simple English and not too fast. 3 staff members stood out for us;Daoluck,Thongdeuan and Chanhtalay Breakfast was made to order no crappy buffet food here.. Homemade jams that came with their toast/croissants were lovely, my fav was the tomato jam. However, their breakfast options could have been a little more flexible. Received a small snack everyday ard 2-4pm. Plenty of bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. 2 different turn down service; one in the morning/early afternoon to make the bed and tidying up and one in the evening to prepare the room for sleeping; mosquito net and even the way they fold the duvet during the evening turn down service is different for the morning service to make it easier for you to climb into bed. Top sheets available on bed(so your body doesn't come in contact with the duvet), not many 4-5star hotels practice this anymore. No ugly mosquito nets here, they have a linen mosquito canopy. Though not necessary, it would have been nice to have plush bedroom slippers as an added luxury that would help make the old wooden floors less slippery. We stayed in a deluxe room, old wooden floors creak a bit so try to get a room on the 2nd floor. No tv in the room unless requested(this definitely helps maintain the old world charm. Vintage pieces all around the hotel, there is so much history! Keep up the great work Satri House! You exceeded expectations! Room Tip: Rooms on 2nd floor away from roads"

Summertime Villa: "A delightful stay"

Review by: noobietraveler | Source: Trip Advisor
You want a piece of heaven, people say head to Goa. You want a piece of heaven, a place to call your own for few days, head to Summertime in Goa. For me, it was love at first sight. It is tucked in one of the by lanes of Calangute, away from the noise, has a small sprawling drive up to the main house and a private swimming pool to boast. It is built like a Balinese villa, is open, spacious and is extremely welcoming. It has an in house kitchen and a few hours’ notice the help can whip up delicious and scrumptious food. We had biryani, eggs and cold coffee. Yum!! It is close hustle and the bustle and yet offers peace and serenity which is so essential. The hidden and the real gem are the books shelves. They even have books in the chairs. And don’t miss the delightful and fun conversation with the owners. You just wouldn’t wanna leave

Tugu Bali: "Everything, every little detail was impeccable"

Review by: Ary L | Source: tripadvisor.com
Hotel Tugu Bali cannot be faulted. A week there, and it can be stated that every little detail is of the highest quality. From Sri's glowing customer service, to Melissa's eye for detail, and 'magic pixies' who ensured that the room was flawless each and every time. The food - just magical. The service - incredible. You know why this place is so highly ranked because it should. Impeccable and closest to perfect you will find. (plus as a surfer - surfers dream with the beach just out the door.) Thank you Hotel Tugu
