Dewakan: "Michelin Star Quality"
We visited the Blue Mosque then made our way to dinner here. Had a table next to the pass and could watch all the action in the kitchen. Really enjoyed the dishes, creativity on the plates with the flavours. Good to experience Malaysian fine dining.Tandjung Sari: "Beautiful hotel with unique charm"
I stayed at the Tangdjung Sari with my husband for three nights – The first three days of our three week stay in Bali and the Gili Islands. We loved the tranquility and charm of the hotel. We instantly noticed that this hotel has a special history. We stayed in villa no 2. The design and all the special details came as a nice surprise to us. We loved our stay.Villa Song Saigon: "One of the best hotel experiences"
This was the most luxurious, tranquil hotel that I have probably ever stayed in!! We arrived here after 12 days cycling holiday and I just needed to be pampered for a few days and sleep and boy does this hotel provide that.. The hotel is small with very high standard setting for meals and the breakfast is all day!! Regardless of when u wake up you can have it, and it was well worth waking up for.. Loved this place and only a boat ride into town which was provided for brill brill brill....Amata Lanna: "Gorgeous boutique hotel"
"We were moved here as they needed to check the electric shower in our other hotel. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel very beautifully decorated in old Lanna style Thai decor with ornate wooden features . The staff are very welcoming and you are warmly greeted and offered a welcome drink in the small reception area. The rooms are all set around a pool and there are lots of little seating areas and a cute little path over a pond to the toilet. The room itself was decorated with plush Thai fabrics, wooden artefacts and had a beautiful, huge bathtub, where you could enjoy a candlelit bath. I loved bed that the bath and shower products were in pot bottles with stoppers instead of plastic and there was a cute little elephant soap dish with an elephant soap inside. The location is close to the hustle and bustle and near the nightmarkets but the hotel offers a tranquil respite from all the noise. It was lovely to sit outside at night as the lights from the pool and the garden made it very peaceful. We had to leave for an early flight to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi and for mango sticky rice and coffee delivered to our room before we left. I would definitely stay here again."Muang La Resort: "Doesn’t get any better than this"
This is a beautiful small resort that has everything from hot springs, saunas, massage, trips, etc. It is located on the river with natural hot springs where the villagers come at 5:00 to bathe. Besides these public springs there are two large hot tubs on the property. There is great attention to detail here from the citronella candles, to infusion teas, to well appointed rooms. It is really a magical place to sit and relax. Try to spend 3 nights so you can enjoy the facility as well as go on some excursions to the temple and villages in the surrounding area. The food is a set menu ( 5 courses for dinner) and excellent. Home made yogurts and sorbet and local Lao dishes with locally sourced ingredients. If in Laos, come here!Mathis Retreat: "THIS IS IT!"
"No doubt you will have looked at about 20-30 hotels in Ubud on TripAdvisor and be completely exasperated by the process. Fear not! Your searching HAS COME TO AN END! This is the one! Where to begin. Located just on the outskirts of Ubud, it overlooks pristine rice fields with no other hotels in sight. From the front reception where you are greeted with a welcome drink and refreshment to the high quality rooms and the blissful infinity pool, there is little more you could ask for. Family rooms exist, and the presence of a few children around this small hotel does not distract from the relaxation. The restaurant on site is relaxing and has a high quality food menu that does not break the bank! (Very reasonable actually) The best bits - free to and from shuttle into Ubud centre every hour, tours available via booking at reception (including airport transfers) The 'could be improved' bits - very little, although the internet was a little slow... if you are dependent on this I suggest you need to rethink the meaning of holiday! ;o)"KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Awesome rooms"
"We selected this place Bcoz it was very near to beach nd plus every room had it's own private pool The best part is they serve the breakfast in your own villa Room wise I would rate it 5/5 Bcoz of pool and staff here is very very polite nd helpful Over experience was awesome Cheers ?!!!! "Reverie Siam Pai: "Impeccable service with Kind thoughts from Management"
"The location is situated with quiet surrounding beside the river with a brilliant idea to have a pouch with lots of cushions to rest and wild away your time. The rooms are very clean and concept is cleverly designed with lots of space. Bed is high up and very comfortable get to the town, there are shuttle buggies service so convenient for guests. Breakfast is very good except its should have more varieties like local food instead of western menu.Staffs have provided impeccable service and knows what you want most of the time and always ready to provide a service. But the most most impressive and remarkable intiative that the hotel have provided is their kind thoughts and consideration for the the guests. I have a very unfortunate bike accident coming up to Pai with my wife and this is the first time I do this and unfamiliar with the poor condition of the dangerous and 762 curves. The first thing I checked in at this hotel, the staff at reception asked me whether i need to go to the hospital and will provide transport anytime to my convenienences. My wife and me were so miserable as our holidays was ruined by my stupidity act of this accident and left us unable to ride and go to place of interests. Our low morals is lightened up when the hotel reception staff told us that the Management is willing to provide us a one day tour of places of interest that we wish to go. Such kind thoughts from the management have sincerely touch of heart and we are so lucky in this way that we have no regrets chose to stay in this hotel. My Wife and I wishes the Management and all staff good health and prosperity."Satri House: "Special and a real secret retreat!…"
"We couldn't have made a better choice for our stay in LP! Used to check all reviews in detail before we make our booking, our expectations were already high when arriving at Satri House, but our experience during our 4 nights stay has beaten this even more. All ingredients for a perfect stay for my wife, our daughters and myself were there! It certainly is a hidden gem! All staff members are super friendly and personal. The warm welcome by Giovanni (the Satri House GM) himself was much appreciated. The atmosphere within Satri House is really special....quiet and majestic...Every single corner of the hotel has special, beautiful decorations and the rooms are very well acquainted with lots of special details. AC is perfect and beds very comfortable...Both swimming pools provided our kids lots of fun after having discovered LP and its surroundings in the heat during the day. Located very little outside the city centre, but with a short of 5 minutes by bike or TukTuk you're at the night market and the city centre. Breakfast is very good and a la carte (a la carte fits more with the atmosphere of Satri House than a buffet, so keep it like this). Marmelades prepared by the lovely grand old lady are delicious and the special birthday cake for our youngest daughter during her birthday was very much appreciated! All in all, having travelled all over the world and stayed in many small boutique hotels in SE Asia, Satri House is a must stay and recommended for 100%! @Giovanni, suppose the buffalo mozzarella of the local buffalo farm has been / will be placed on your menu card....:-)...It would confirm your roots with this secret retreat on the other side of the earth...:-). Regards with lovely memories, Roger, Miranda, Noa and Lily"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing safari"
We stayed at Noel's Safari for two nights in a family tent (2 adults and 2 kids) and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and were absolute experts when it came to the animals and their habitat. We saw so many amazing wild animals and learned so many things about them. Back at the camp, the food was absolutely phenomenal - so delicious and an amazing array of dishes. We all had a fantastic time and would recommend this to any animal lover!!!
