Rachamankha: "A real treat to stay here"
An calm and tranquil oasis from the bustling city. So nice just to wander around the charming grounds of the hotel. There are lots of lovey spots to sit down and relax all around the hotel including the library. Very nice pool too. Staff very nice but perhaps not as professional as elsewhere in Thailand. Restaurant is very good without being spectacular.Muang La Resort: "Doesn’t get any better than this"
This is a beautiful small resort that has everything from hot springs, saunas, massage, trips, etc. It is located on the river with natural hot springs where the villagers come at 5:00 to bathe. Besides these public springs there are two large hot tubs on the property. There is great attention to detail here from the citronella candles, to infusion teas, to well appointed rooms. It is really a magical place to sit and relax. Try to spend 3 nights so you can enjoy the facility as well as go on some excursions to the temple and villages in the surrounding area. The food is a set menu ( 5 courses for dinner) and excellent. Home made yogurts and sorbet and local Lao dishes with locally sourced ingredients. If in Laos, come here!Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "4 Safari’s in 2 daya"
Had a great time on safari at Noel Rodrigo's leopard safari tour - we did 2 morning and 2 evening safaris and stayed in their glamping accommodation complete with shower and proper toilet. When we were not off road chasing down wildlife we enjoyed the amazing home cooked local food at the campsite. Saw lots of animals but our favourite was ending up in the middle of a herd of elephants - amazing experience! The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable - highly recommend it!Tugu Bali: "Heaven"
Our three nights at Hotel Tugu were absolute perfection. The suite, the food, the service & the beautiful gardens could not be faulted. I would go back in heartbeat...or when my credit card bill is paid...whichever comes first.Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Annual pilgramage"
"At least once a year we make our way here. We do that because the service is impeccable (no hovering but everything appears exactly when you need it). The food is inventive yet grounded. (Yes, there are things you might call ""molecular"" but they don't abuse it or make it silly) It reflects local culture in interesting ways. (Every year they introduce me to something in Thai cuisine I was completely unaware of. This always results in my seeking it out in street carts or local restaurants later. Khao Soi, Khao Chai. Moo Palo). The win list is brillliant. This is not cheap ( by Thai standards), but would stand up to any NY, London or Singapore 5 start. Do NOT miss this. And stick your neck out if they have a la carte (they didn't this trip - it was a wonderful fixed menu). For example. Pork Blood Chocolate pudding. Sounds scary. It's heavenly. You only live once and that should be well fed."Satri House: "one of my favorite hotel in the world"
"For years I'm traveling around the world in search of the best hotel ever. But actually, what could define what we call ""the best hotel""? Simply a place where you feel at home right away you arrive, a place full of charm where there is a strong atmosphere, a place where people are so nice, kind and helpful you can easily consider them as a family, a place where every corner is simply beautiful and finally a place from where you would never want to leave. Satri House is THIS PLACE and our recent stay has exceeded all our strongest expectations. (...) This unique property extremely well designed by her owner is truly THE place where to stay in Luang Prabang and an hotel which has to be experienced by all the hotel lovers. BREATHTAKING..."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Beautiful resort – well suited for relaxation"
"During our 1800km TukTuk challenge from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, we had a two night stay at the resort. On arrival at the hotel after a tiring rickshaw drive, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water as welcome drink. We were fortunate to have a rest day at the tranquil resort - far from the madding crowd. The accommodation/bungalows were clean and well furnished. The food was good and staff very friendly, courtious and eager to help. It has a clem beach and swimming in the sea was very enjoyable. It's the place to go to for a quiet, restful and relaxing holiday. We also had a 'thank you' card from the manager before we departed - you don't see this often. We would love to go there again for a longer stay. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Nice heritage to stay"
Its a heritage museum that we stayed over a night.the breakfast tasted good. The building have another mood at night but no creepy at all.this place nearby a lot of night market, try all the local food and all the staff very friendly and nice.we love to come back one day to staySanak Retreat Bali: "Perfect in every possible ways!"
"The hotel workers are very simple and amazing persons! This is a very special place. Me and my wife had a wonderful time in here. It was unforgetable the dinner that they prepared for us (prepared by a future Michelin Star chef that was visiting the hotel and giving formation to the emploies). Madi the waitress is a very special man! wonderful the way people take care of you! The room and the spa are really nice!"Summertime Villa: "Blissfully chilled"
We absolutely loved Summertime and cannot wait to go back. The owners have spent a lifetime delivering amazing holiday experiences in India and it feels like they poured all their learning and experience into creating and running this idyllic house.
