4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Wonderful stay!!"

Review by: Johnlynne15 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this relaxing, peaceful location, close to nature and local people. Comfortable accommodation with the river to dip into. We can recommend the kayaking trip and the Tatai Waterfall, where we swam in the river before choosing to kayak part of the return journey.Great fun and exhilarating! We loved the Fireflies we were so lucky to see them in full glory close to the Lodges. The staff and guides at Four Rivers are dedicated to the care of the guests, courteous, friendly and quietly enthusiastic. The food was good, especially our freshly caught clams that were cooked for us that evening and so delicious!"

Villa Song: "Villa Song Excels"

Review by: Murray Y | Source: Trip Advisor
It is not at all surprising that former patrons of Villa Song are so enthusiastic about this boutique hotel. It is located in a quiet part of Saigon and has river frontage. The hotel is very well appointed, with friendly staff and very good food. A private (free) water taxi can quickly take you to the heart of Saigon thus avoiding the crazy city traffic. The rooms are large and our bed was very comfortable. My only concern was the steep spiral stair case to the top (3rd) floor bedrooms. This can be a bit of a challenge with those with knee/hip issues, as there is no lift. Do not miss the large swimming pool that is located at the rear of the hotel. If you are wanting a boutique quality hotel in Saigon, then this is it.

KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Beautiful modern duplex Villas just off the beautiful beach"

Review by: Cheriece W | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I spent a bit of time on some of the islands. My favorite Island was Ko Phangan with its cheap and simple little bungalows at the beach, but!! If you are going to do a little more upscale, and if Koh Samui is your island of choice, then I do highly recommend Khwan Beach Resort. The staff (I believe are French ex pats) are super charming, friendly and accommodating. You also get a free ride to and from the airport, which is a big plus. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning, so you can enjoy it in the privacy of your own abode. Each abode is very modern, has two stories, two bathrooms and a private pool. As the showers are partially open to the outside, you do get your share of lizards bathing with you! Very cool. The Villas are very private, which I did appreciate after spending much of my time in Thailand in not so private accommodations. Only about a 3 minute walk to the beach, where the water is clean and warm and the sand feels like silk between your toes. Enough restaurants along the beach to keep you fed, but can also take a car/bike/tuk tuk about 10 minutes to a wonderful shopping and restaurant area. All and all, great time here! "

The Cabochon Hotel: "Feels like home"

Review by: docflaps | Source: Trip Advisor
This was the second time I spent some days in this wonderful retreat with my family. This hotel is just a magic place and everytime we arrive here it almost feels like coming home. Especially in a busy city like Bangkok this wonderful place is perfect to comfort you.We will come again and only can recommend it to everybody who is looking for a small hotel of no other kind. The staff is super friendly, the food is fantatsic and every little detail of this hotel feels like it has been developed with an incredible aamount of love and passion without any compromise.

Mume: "A great evening, great tastes & ambience"

Review by: HKFrequentFlyer | Source: Trip Advisor
This is arguably one of Asia's finest restaurants … the a la carte menu is a fusion, at times I felt like at home in Sydney, at times it went to Scandinavia … The ambience is minimalist, dress code casual (loved that aspect), staff friendly and informative; the food we ordered (and most of it shared) was excellent, top marks to the wagyu tartare and ribeye. I read some negative reviews below … I am guessing people were expecting a Chinese banquet for the price. This is quite a different experience, its all about tasting the food, the fresh ingredients and the innovative. We certainly did not leave the restaurant hungry, quite the opposite. If you are a couple like us, choose different starters and mains and try as many as possible. My only objection is the wine list … for a restaurant of this calibre, they should entertain more wines … especially from NZ, Australia (they would go well with the food).

Tugu Bali: "Most Unique Property in Bali"

Review by: akbarian | Source: Trip Advisor
"A very lovely boutique hotel, very authentic and luxurious, elaborately decorated property with lots of Balinese details in every corner. Excellent food, a very enchanting garden, attentive and caring staff who respect guests privacy. Service is impeccable and closest to perfect you will find. Pristine Canngu beachfront at the hotel is ideal for surfers and great sunset spot. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience, this is the place to have it. I would highly recommend Hotel Tugu without any hesitation or reservation."

Sandat Glamping Tents: "A truly magical place"

Review by: Boracco | Source: Trip Advisor
"Ubud and its surroundings are full of Swanky five star hotels and retreats but if you want to experience something truly magical head to Sandat, you won't regret it! Set amid the rice fields this quixotic resort that defies definitions is truly stunning: you'll be able to choose among some luxury tents (more on this later) or three of the lumbungs, traditional Balinese rice barns that have been conceived as spacious apartments. We stayed in one of the tents, actually a lovely structure built with high tech materials that will just about separate you from the adjacent rice field and the forest in front of you. I always hated camping and this is nothing like that: you'll find yourself in a five star room with all amenities and comforts (wooden floors, stylish furniture, comfy bed), don't be put off if, like me, camping is not for you! Every tent has its own private plunge pool and sun chairs. At all time you are far away from indiscreet eyes and the staff will always announce their presence before coming anywhere near your place. Mind that this is also an eco resort and they made the conscious decision not to have aircon (yet the tent was very fresh) or television (but wifi and plenty of books and magazines are available). Longest review I've ever posted on tripadvisor, yet it's not over. (...)Enjoy the tropical garden and be amazed to find out that all the lush plants are just two years old. What else can I say? If you don't mind spending the extra dollar and you are looking for a true memory then Sandat is the ideal place for you!"

Cuca: "Truly fantastic food"

Review by: dereksimpson126 | Source: Trip Advisor
Wonderful food in a fantastic restaurant. Great care has been taken to create a dish which produced the most amazing combination of flavours and textures. It is unusual to find a restaurant that produces a range of tapas that each dish tastes incredible Derek Simpson Scotland

Maison Polanka: "We felt very privileged…"

Review by: Stephane G | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We felt very privileged to stay at la Maison Polanka. It is not a hotel; no room number, you take off your shoes before entering your room, someone comes to you with a cold scented towel when entering the property after a walk, a waiter brings you a glass of water when sitting in the garden... Everything is organized to make you feel like you are a special guest! Cathy the manager understands your expectations and is totally dedicated to her job and to make you feel special. (...) The house is authentic, full of charm and character. The garden is amazing and the large pool is warm and always clean. Staying at Maison Polenka made us feel very privileged and we would definitely recommend it for anyone who wishes to find a peaceful, tailored-to-your-needs, beautiful and comfortable place! Merci beaucoup!"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Peace and Pleasure"

Review by: Lazarus M | Source: Trip Advisor
"I can't recommend this place more highly. A boat ride across the Nam Khan river from the Old Town, it is a haven of peace (no kids allowed!). No TV in the rooms. Excellent insect management. Delicious fruit and cooked breakfast individually prepared. Free airport transfers. Free bikes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. The hotel is a little piece of personal paradise within the paradise that is Luang Prabang. As a tip, the local monks walk past collecting alms around 7am and is an untouristy experience that the once in central LP."
