Summertime Villa: "Nice Place"
"Ive been to Goa several times but I had the most Luxurious time while visiting Summertime. . . . . Spacious rooms & a pool to die for…"Hotel Tugu Malang: "Wonderful Magical and stunning afternoon tea"
I wouldn't say our room was the best, big but perhaps looking a bit tired and the electricals might need looking at but I still rate this hotel very highly as there really is no place like it for truly outstanding food (the menu takes a while to read and breakfast is marvellous but afternoon tea the best) and magical atmosphere, room after room of delightsRak Ko Jae Seoul: "Traditional house in bustling Seoul"
"Stayed for a night in the separate house (which has 2 bathrooms) with 3 other friends. The house was well maintained and clean!Hosts were responsive and helpful. You could borrow the hanboks from the host to try on and take Instagram-worthy pictures with the traditional setting. As if you just hopped on the time machine! What we love most was the breakfast! It's ""SEOUL YUMMY!"" (So yummy, pun intended). Just by looking at the picture is enough to salivate!' It's so good that we felt all other meals we had during our trip were just so plain and average! Words can't express how good it was. You have to try it to know it! :) The location of the house is not so straightforward. It would be good if you have wifi-egg to navigate and locate using your phone! Otherwise I would advise you to get detailed directions from the host before the trip. "Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfect place to rest"
Incredible hotel. Very calm and relaxing. The staff is very very friendly. A shuttle service is provided which a great help to visit ubud, since the road for the hotel is a little bit damaged. I only think that the breakfast could be a little bit better.Tugu Bali: "The Art, Soul and Romance of Indonesia"
"What really puts this hotel into my ‘most memorable’ category is its ability to deliver an authentic Indonesian experience, steeped in traditional culture whilst maintaining the highest degree of luxury. Nowadays that’s something that most modern hotels on the beautiful island of Bali lack. Hotel Tugu’s calming surroundings provide an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. The building itself and the expansive yet intimate grounds naturally emanate a purposeful sense of romance. It was here I found a somewhat tangible soulful experience. An experience I didn’t know I was truly seeking until I was immersed in it and one that will stay with me long since my return. Hotel Tugu claims to be the Art, Soul and Romance of Indonesia and I for one wholeheartedly agree. The Walter Spies suite was my favourite, an art deco inspired room merged with Balinese themes, complete with plunge pool and private garden. Very private. Worth noting JI at Bale' Sutra 1706' is the onsite restaurant & bar. The contemporary Japanese/Chinese fusion cuisine is a commendable example of fine dining in a casual and yet classy atmosphere. It also hosts a rooftop bar with ocean views and specialized sake bar. There is an extensive choice of fine wine available (usually so hard to find in south-east Asia) and the cocktails are next level goodness."Cuca: "Great food"
We visited Cuca in Jimbaran, after an event at Polperro winery (Red Hill), hosted by the head chef from Cuca. The food at Polperro was amazing and I was really excited to see the restaurant for the first time. I was not disappointed, the textures, presentation and flavours are fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, it's dimly lit and moody, but if you have a preference for more light, you can always sit at the bar over the kitchen and watch the precision of the team. The outside seating area is in a garden, complete with water features and lanterns. The grounds are generous. Price wise it's not over the top, I loved everything this place, so much so, I have booked again for tomorrow night!!Rachamankha: "Best of the best"
"For this visit we wanted a longer stay so we made the booking for 6 nights. From the moment we stepped inside we knew it was the best decision This place has to be the best place to be pampered and feel totally indulged. The rooms are amazing, beds are fabulous and the staff could not be more helpful and welcoming. The weather turned wet but that made a great excuse for staying in and enjoying the hotel. The restaurant does a terrific job and we loved the many meals we had there. Thank you to all the staff and we have booked already for our next visit."Cuca: "Oasis in Jimbaran"
Dinner at Cuca after reading review in a Dining Magazine. 3 adults and 3 children aged 14, 8 & 4 (Bit nervous!!!) Unfounded! Greeted and welcomed like family! Shown to our table and children immediately given colouring books, pencils and "kids" table setting including crockery and cutlery! Choose the degustation menu (I am Pescatarian) and was fully catered for without an issue. Each meal was out of this world! The taste, quality of produce was simply amazing! The mushrooms and scallops my favourite, the corn being my sisters favourite! All in all a beautiful meal and experience from start to finish. All staff attentive and made the night extra special! Would go back for lunch and dinner in a heartbeat! Would be amazing in the day sitting outside in the gardens! We will be back!Sea Dance Resort: "Terrific – Like joining a community!"
We are a family of four and stayed in a two-bedroom pool villa over New Year's 2017-18 for four nights. There were several other families there as well. The owners and staff made us feel very welcome, and the food and facilities were top notch. The best part was the new year's party, which made everyone feel like we'd been invited to someone's house to celebrate - really a fun time, we recommend the Seadance to everyone.Locavore: "Worth every Rupiah"
On the top of our foodie list for Ubud was Locavore. Be sure to make a reservation and spend the xtra $ for the beverage package, which is carefully curated to enhance every bite of food. Not only does this team create art on a plate, but they have employed the best of Ubud..local ingredients + knowledgeable friendly staff = 1st class experience!!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
