Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing"
We spent an amazing honeymoon designed by Gilita (the travel agency of the owner of Slow private pool villas) and it was perfect! We spent 6 nights at Slow and we didn t want to leave. Breakfast is delicious, the new spa for the massages and Pilates courses is top! The villas are perfectly clean, very calm and beautiful. Thanks a lot at the staff for the lovely stay at Slow...Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion Logo Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Old Charm and stunning Mansion"
"Stayed there 3 nights at the Shantung room on Oct 1st. Was my second time staying there and seems quite an improvement compared to the 1st probably it was from a different management back then. Happy with the service upon checking in. Shiro at the desk was friendly. Glad that we had a early check-in and no hassle of waiting for our room to be ready. All the staff are polite from housekeeping lady to the wait staff for our breakfast, the lady at the bar & the security guard at the main door. I am amazed with the selection of ala carte breakfast menu and buffet spread with the price for the the room. Wish we had time to dine and experience Indigo in the future. "Pindaya Farm House: "Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with extraordinary views of Pindaya"
This is a lovely working farm and small hotel. The owners are delightful people who accommodated our needs, and fed us extremely well. We had heard that this part of the country is called the Tuscany of Myanmar, and it is absolutely true. The hills surround the valley, and the red earth is reminiscent of Italy. The organic produce is spectacular, and the preparation of the food at Thahara Pindaya was simple and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and capacious, while simple, and the views from the decks are splendid whether in the early morning, middle of the day, or evening.Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Great stay in a wonderful setting"
What a beautiful resort. We had the pleasure of staying here over Khmer New Year and had a wonderful time. The room is very spacious and overlooks the lotus pond. The pool is quite big, considering the size of the resort. The location is about 2km from the city center. As it was Khmer New Year most of the establishment in the center were closed, so we had lunch and dinner at the resort. The daily changing 3-course lunch and 4-course dinner are definitely recommended! The staff is very attentive and friendly and overall I would recommend everyone to stay here when travelling to Battambang.Rachamankha: "A real treat to stay here"
An calm and tranquil oasis from the bustling city. So nice just to wander around the charming grounds of the hotel. There are lots of lovey spots to sit down and relax all around the hotel including the library. Very nice pool too. Staff very nice but perhaps not as professional as elsewhere in Thailand. Restaurant is very good without being spectacular.Villa Song Saigon: "gorgeous place to stay"
"we stayed in this lovely hotel for a long weelend whilst visiting hcmc. we absolutely loved it. the hotel manager took the time to meet us personally and welcome - though there was a wedding reception that first night, we did not at any time feel disturbed or a lack of service. to compensate for the inconvenience, we were offered dinner or a taxi ride to wherever we wanted to go for dinner. absolutely great. the hotel has an own shuttle service by blat to the city and this is awesome. the boat leaves in front of the hotel and drops u off in the middle of the city centre. great service. some might say its not close to the city centre, but with the boat shuttle, this hotel clearly makes up for it - but not only that - overall, i believe its the best place to unwind after a day in the hectic city of ho chi minh. "Jings Residence: "An oasis of Calm in Pingyao"
Lonely planet says Pingyao is perfect. Well, Jing's Residence is the perfect place to stay in the perfect walled city. The service is exceptional. They anticipate your every need without being intrusive. Right from the moment you are collected at the airport with snacks to a concierge who helps you plan the perfect activities for your stay... the service is impeccable. The restaurant is outstanding; you'll want to have every meal here! We're foodies and really didn't want to go anywhere else which says a lot for people who normally like to explore local restaurants. The hotel is part of Relais & Chateau and Secret Retreats. Based on our experience here we'll look for other hotels in Asia which are part of these 'brands'. Go! You will love it!Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing and varied selection of great food"
Great little find this restaurant, fantastic food in a good location that is both quiet and accessible. I highly recommend the Isan-style Pork Steak.Slow Villas and Spa: "Just perfect!"
"On our 3 weeks roundtrip through Bali and Lombok my girlfriend and me have stayed 3 nights at Slow Private Pool Villas and it was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. To shorten the story: The Slow was even better than expected! Our private villa was surrounded by a huge and nicely planted garden. The pool was just awesome - perfectly clean and bigger than expected. Furniture, tapware and decoration were beautiful and definitely chosen with a huge amount of passion for the details. The staff was always friendly and helpful - no matter if we wanted to go diving, book a snorkeling trip or had some other questions: there's nothing they can't help you with in order to have the perfect time at Gili Air. The breakfast is definitely another highlight. It's getting served at your Villa at your preferred time and tastes delicious! We can't wait to come back next year! But then for longer than 3 nights. :)"Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing food"
"The food was fantastic. My sister who's lived here for over 20 years couldn't agree more with the authenticity of the food and ingredients, some even pleasantly surprised us. The service is maybe a lack of English. But they are trying very hard. Much appreciated. I'd recommend The trio appetizers - Yum Mieng Yong, Ma hor, Khaotang Namprik Kakmoo, - Yum Crispy Leaf Fish, and Hor Mok Crab Meat. "Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
