Inle Princess Resort: "LOVELY PLACE"

Review by: Sandra F | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed in a Lake House room - that is very large – and it was wonderful to sit in an armchair on the private deck to admire the lake. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious. The restaurant is good and is well located, just in front of the lake. It is a lovely hotel.

The Island Lodge: "Serenity"

Review by: C V | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Recently went here a second time and it pure bliss. The resort is stunning, beautifully designed accompanied by good service and a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. We live in Saigon and we usually travel outside the country when we have any spare time but we make time to come to Island Lodge because it's that's great. We're actually going for our third visit in less than a week. Can't wait. "

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Great accomodation"

Review by: Massfoto | Source: Trip Advisor
"Michael and staff are very kind and went through great detail to take care of my stay in Thailand. Arnold accomodated my taxing to Chaing Mai and was always on time. Excellent villa with a delicious breakfast served. The pool is refreshing and the wonderful classical music being played made my stay so relaxing. I will definitely book there again upon my return. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"

MesaStila: "One night stay, beautiful srroundings, will return"

Review by: Neilwmckay | Source: Trip Advisor
"The resort is set in beautifully landscaped grounds with views of volcanoes in every direction. They also have a small coffee plantation onsite and the coffee itself is only available in the hotel. Rooms were huge and nicely fitted out. Would loved to have stayed longer, but was following a tight itinerary through central and eastern Java. Will return for sure. "

Nimmu House: "A memorable visit, I won’t forget"

Review by: PriyaKapoor224 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I came to Nimmu House in July 2015. I landed in Ladakh and went straight to the hotel. HOTEL MANAGEMENT: The caretakers/managers were two of the most wonderful people: a young Caucasian woman and her Indian husband. I came on the day of the festival so no one else was around. They welcomed me, got me food, drink and told me their story and about the hotel. They also took wonderful care of me, letting me how much I should eat, drink and sleep before my journey to Nubra Valley the next day. They also came by to check in on me, filling up my water so I could get the full 4ltrs. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: I stayed in a tent, and I wholly recommend it. While some people in previous reviews complaint of hot water issues, I would say to them: calm down. This is in Northern Northern India, in a small village. Yes they will try and accommodate you with warm water, but you knew what you signed up for when you decided to gallivant to this side of the world. I got warm water for the most part, but took quick showers so not to use up too much water. I also showered at odd hours which is why I benefited. The actual tent is spacious. It has a huge bed that is utterly comfortable, a nice space for shower and little study area at the front. Couldn't have asked for anything more. In addition the courtyard is wonderful. I was journal-ling at the time and wrote a lot about sitting in the courtyard and hearing the thumping of apricots on the ground, the little brook that lined the courtyard, the hammocks, it really was magical during the day and evening. LOCATION: If you are looking to assimilate at a reasonable height, this is the place. It has clean air, fresh water, open spaces etc. Its a bit out from Leh but its probably best to leave the dusty loud city/town at arrival and head somewhere quieter. FOOD: I love their use of apricots in everything. While quite a bit of food -- felt like American portions -- it was very welcoming to get such a lovely meal when I arrived (even though they did not have me down for lunch) and prepared so fast. Dinner was wonderful, they sat me next to two people they thought I'd get along with and we did! We talked all night about our lives while sipping on local Chang beer and eating delicious food. I would say it was a bit standard in terms of type of food -- didn't really get local Ladakhi food -- but I was only there one day. OVERALL: Don't miss it. If you start your trip or end on it, this is the place to be. Room Tip: Get a tent, and spend some time in the courtyard on the hammocks See more room tips Stayed July 2016, traveled solo"

Satri House: "Amazing Stay"

Review by: Shar Mayn O | Source: Trip Advisor
"Recently stayed here with my girlfriends and we were blown away from the moment we walked in to Satri House until the moment we left. Although the property is located 15-20mins walk from town/night market, they do provide complimentary bicycles for guests to explore the quaint town. It is also safe to walk and wander the streets til late as well. Everyone we met never failed to greet us warmly and smile including Giovanni himself. The team members would always try their best to engage in a conversation whenever possible without intruding our privacy. Service here is top notch and it truly exceeded my expectations especially coming from the hotel industry itself. Thank you for the wonderful birthday surprise at the pool by the team. It definitely caught the birthday girl off guard :) Kudos to the team!"

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Reminiscent of the Raj"

Review by: Gagan S | Source: Trip Advisor
"I visited the Estate in May 2015 for a week with my family. The welcome drink at the airport and Break at a scenic location overlooking the confluence of 2 rivers with tea, muffins, sandwichs served in typical English style were a delight and set tone for a very different vacation. The Estate (1600 Acres, i was told) is nestled on a hill top and the view is just incredible. We managed to see the Kanchanjunga for 15 minutes on the day we came and thereafter, it remained cloudy during our stay The Food is very good, the tea is on demand (u can order any type u want.. n number of times) and the dinner is a formal sit down affair in the dining hall. They have a log house at the riverside .. the drive, fishing and food again is worth the time. For the excursions to city etc, u get a Scorpio with a driver, attendant in proper uniform who takes care of the food, water, logistics, toy train tickets, etc... u dont need to move a finger. Everything taken care of .. professionally. Visit their tea factory .. nice place to see how tea is made. All in all ... a great place to sit back, get pampered, enjoy the view, have tea and realise that you have been drinking apology of a tea all this time. Fantastic place ... great staff. Oh .. yes .. they still use cutlery from England."

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "must visit when in yangon"

Review by: Anahitabose | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and me went for dinner to this amazing restaurant which is so lovingly handled by the chef and his wife. The food is amazing, service top notch and the place itself is so beautiful. I would recommend this over Le planteaur anyday. The food here is tastier and better value for price. They serve a starter plate and salads, tasting desert plate. Attention to details is amazing. Must not miss this when in Yangon.
