Satri House: "Such a treat!"

It's been more than a year since I stayed here, but this place was so good I still remember it fondly and it definitely deserves a positive review. I visited here by myself for a few days relaxation and R&R - Luang Prabang and Satri House are absolutely perfect for that. Everything about the room was perfect. I loved the bathroom, which is always a good test of whether a hotel is at the top of it's game. The pool was also divine. I would stay here again and again. Will definitely be coming back. Satri House is definitely in my top five Asian hotel experiences!

Tugu Lombok: "Number One in My List of Favourite Hotels"

"Tugu Lombok is the dreamed hotel for all who imagine a paradise with silent tropical white sanded beaches, wooden villa, just a few steps from the light blue sea. The resort is designed as a boutique one, a precious collection of asian art is arranged around the restaurants, the villas and the gardens. Walking around you are touched by an amazing culture, art and sence of luxury design. Each villa has a priveate pool and a beach, tropical shower under the stars. The honeymoon villa is the ONE! Tugu Lombok is a great place to propose to your Love! Or to excape for a romantic vacation... Room Tip: Villas at the beach side are amazing!"

Manda De Laos: "Delightful"

More expensive than most for reason. The setting is fabulous and the service outstanding. The food matched both of these criteria– it is a modern take on Laotian cuisine, we loved it and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The cocktails, although quite a limited selection were worthy of the relatively high price.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heaven on Earth"

"This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, peace and tranquillity by the Arabian Sea, heaven on earth. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in a lovely cottage called Shanti overlooking the sea, attention to detail was of the highest standard, everything was perfect. There are just 12 cottages which make it very special. The spa was the best we have ever been too, we had a Shirodhara massage, amazing... we were rejuvenated and calmed. Breakfast was at the beach restaurant, (food was of the highest standard) after early morning yoga, what a beautiful way to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Neeleshwar, and hope to return again. "

The Village House: "Gorgeous Boutique Hotel"

This is the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It's an easy 40 min drive from Kuching, and it's incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It's a simple hotel but a lot of care and love has gone into its set up and decoration, and it was full of beautiful artwork from local artists. The rooms were lovely (we stayed in the Raj room), the food was delicious and the service wonderful and attentive. 

David’s Kitchen: "Superb food with impeccable service"

"Superb food with impeccable service We just couldn’t stay away from this oasis of top drawer fine dining. The owner and host David Gordon was there to greet us and his other guests nothing is too much trouble and your every wish in designing your particular favourite dishes is followed to the letter. A culinary experience not to be missed."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Stunning Hotel, not to be missed"

We have just left this Hotel after a 3 night stay, and I wish it had been longer. It was beautifully situated at the eastern end of Inle Lake, quiet and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, nothing wa too much trouble and the huts on stilts absolutely perfect. The training school for young people is an excellent idea and prepares them for jobs in the tourist industry in the future. The food was very well prepared and interesting. Can’t fault it and would definitely return if I come back this way in the future.

Talabgaon Castle: "fantastically beautiful place"

We stayed in the hotel in March 2016 with friends. it is absolutely awesome place, the building of the hotel unimaginable beauty, vast numbers itself, a large area, the silence all around, a large outdoor pool with a mini-waterfall and fountains nearby, peacocks walk, chipmunks running around, there are stables and a golf polo. I liked very much. Clean, quiet, the staff is calm, friendly, home, too. Atmospheric and quiet.

MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Amazing"

"very good place with amazing views and facilities. The resort crews were also very helpful and kind to support and assist us during our stay there. I stayed there as domestic guest and it was still worth to stay. Don't miss the coffee tour and local batik making!"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of heaven"

"This is my second visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage and by the looks of it won't be my last. The weather was perfect and the hospitality was perfect and thoughtful. Check in was smooth - they even kept the restaurant open past its timings for my arrival which was very thoughtful of them. Libin and Sharath at the restaurant were very good. The food on the first day was fabulous (some great grilled fish and prawn curry). On the rest of the days it was just ok though the breakfast was very good. I also really enjoyed my morning coffee on the veranda. The pool is perfect, there were no intrusions and my request for drinks were quickly attended to. The cottage room is big and comfortable and i got some well deserved rest. The only disappointment was that the restaurant by the beach was closed because of the monsoons, though I must say their main restaurant is beautifully done up. The resort itself is very beautiful with views of the crashing waves of the ocean. Overall it is a great place to get some rest and get away from hectic schedules. The staff go way out of their way to make you comfortable without being intrusive in any manner. I really appreciated the efforts they put in to make sure I had a good holiday and I was very impressed. My sincere thanks to them all. My only recommendation is that more boards be put up on the main road so that the resort is easier to locate. The resort is 2.5 hours from Mangalore airport which is quite a ride. As a tip i would recommend that guests call up the resort for their bookings and you might get a great deal like i did!
