VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We started our vacation in Vietnam in this elegant hotel. It looks and feels like British colonial times. We ate our breakfasts on the banks of the Saigon river and had delicious food there. Our room was on the third floor and there are no elevators. We never carried our suitcases - the service was wonderful. We were looking for a place to eat and the staff told us where locally they went to eat and we had a delicious lunch there. We took their water taxi into the city and it was a treat to ride on the river in that way. The pool there is lovely and staff are around to take care of your every need. We couldn't have had a better start to a fabulous two weeks in Vietnam. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "THE BEST"
We traveled through 12 time zones for our second two week stay at this wonderful place and found it even better than our last trip. Why? The food, accommodation, daily yoga, beach walking for miles, warm ocean swimming, spectacular sunsets and friendly/accommodating staff set the stage for a truly magical experience of total relaxation and joy. We find a level of serenity and solitude that is the best. The uniqueness of this special place touches our souls and we are already planning a return trip.Tugu Lombok: "Best ever hotel, would make it 10 stars if I could"
"This is by far the best hotel I have ever visited. First, the settings are absolutely amazing: we spent 4 days there, and were still discovering a piece of art or statue here and there. Our villa was delightful, so are the two pools and restaurant, and the gardens as well as the beach.... absolutely everything is stunning! I took over 300 photos of the grounds, and do not want to delete any. Attention to art and detail is everywhere. Next, customer service was also perfect: from the moment we walked in (and even before as they actually pay attention to nice to have requests at the time of reservation) everybody actually cared about our wellbeing. As an example, our flight was canceled because of a volcano, and hotel manager stayed late at night to make sure we could get a boat to Bali, and booked all taxi for us. Thank you to the full team, I hope we will come back. I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family."Manda De Laos: "Last night in Luang Prabang"
Staying in Treasure Hotel across the road from the restaurant. Looked lovely so couldn't resist. Tables surround a lotus pond and red Chinese lanterns cast a pleasing glow. My vegetable Laamp with rice was beautifully presented and much more than I could eat but powered on. Likewise husband's chicken red curry was also delish. Maitre de was attentive and warm. Highly recommend.Rahai’i Pangun: "Reece trip on Katingan River & Sebangau National Park"
I was lucky to be part of this 5 days Reecee trip - a trip that hasn't been done before. It was very very well organised and the many transfers between the lovely Ruhui Rahayu river boat and the small canoes that brought us along the small black water tributaries, all went smooth. Staying in the stilted house on the black water lake, Danau Bulat, was great. It was wonderful to get special food treats from Ruhui Rahayu brought the 1 km into the lake. The highlight of staying in Sebangau National Park at the WWF lodge was great. So was trekking at night to set the photo trap. Sailing further into Sebangau National Park on the Panggu Alas black water river to the lake with the same name was equally exciting. A wonderful trip. Lisbet (Denmark)Manda De Laos: "Impressive"
So impressed with the service, food, drinks and ambiance. It feels like you are walking into a little, romantic, paradise pond escape. Best meal in Laos by far. All food and unique drinks had beautiful presentation. Can’t wait to return!Tugu Malang: "An incredible night in a lively museum"
"The TUGU Malang is a unique place on earth, being both a magnificent museum and an ultra-comfortable hotel with a pool. You will be flabbergasted by the magnificence of the place: antiques, artefacts, wooden doors, Bali temples...all inside the hotel. Take to your time to wander and step back in time. The food is delicious and the breakfast amazingly rich of flavours. The location is very central, the service is of high-standard. The only weaknesses of the place would be some rooms facing a wall (but the hotel kindly moved us to a pool view), and the busy and noisy traffic circle outside (ask for a room not facing the traffic circle)."flower island: "Flower Island: what a dream place to be !"
"Flower Island, a beautiful, serene paradise you do not want to leave, and if you have to do so by the end of your stay, you might have a little tear in your eyes... just beautiful in all respects ! The very friendly, helpful staff, the situation on this untouched island, the absolute beautiful beach, the happy, clean and pleasant ""house"" dog with its 2 puppies, the good food... what can one say more. The Flower Island..almost out of this world. One of the best places I have seen. Anytime again, better sooner then later!"VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Absolutely charming hotel"
"A haven at the edge of the Saigon River. A beautiful, peaceful spot to chill out after a hot session of sightseeing. Chef Kevin, always eager to please with innovative Western based menus liberally sprinkled with South East Asian herbs and spices, great. Restaurant and hotel staff greeting us with their gentleness and smiling faces all the time. I can only highly recommend Villa Song "NEELESHWAR: "Heavenly peace!"
"Everything about the Hermitage was wonderful - the room, the bed, the pillows, the care taken to make sure everything was perfect, the food, the off site activities offered ( alt bought these were expensive) Forewarned, we had pre- ordered full board to avoid a large bill at the end so that worked out well. Highlight was a trip to the jungle to see a Theyam ceremony. Unforgettable! The sea was like a warm bath, the food and company and the pool were all excellent. One recommendation though - mosquito burners in the spa reception area. Can't wait to return - think about it every day! "
