Tugu Bali: "Everything, every little detail was impeccable"
Hotel Tugu Bali cannot be faulted. A week there, and it can be stated that every little detail is of the highest quality. From Sri's glowing customer service, to Melissa's eye for detail, and 'magic pixies' who ensured that the room was flawless each and every time. The food - just magical. The service - incredible. You know why this place is so highly ranked because it should. Impeccable and closest to perfect you will find. (plus as a surfer - surfers dream with the beach just out the door.) Thank you Hotel TuguChakrabongse Villas: "Relaxing days in bangkok"
We stayed four days in the amazing riverside villa. Starting with a very friendly and warm welcome by the manager Ms.Atom, our stay was as good as we had expected. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city of Bangkok. You will feel like prince and princess in former times, to whom a perfect breakfast and dinner will be served in a beautiful location. The whole staff did their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much Atom and all the others, it was a great start for our journey and we will definitly come back!!David’s Kitchen: "Exceptional service & food"
We had a fantastic evening at David's kitchen. David personally welcomed us to his restaurant which was really nice and he was really interested in our family and remembered what we'd said. Great customer service.. The staff were all really knowledgeable about the menu and had the right balance between being helpful but also stepping back. We would highly recommend eating here.Tugu Lombok: "One of the best resorts I have stayed in"
"If there is nothing negative to say about a place it must have been a great stay. Absolutely everything was perfect! The way we were welcomed, the amazing room, the privacy, the open air bathroom, the postcard white sand beach, the fantastic staff, the good food, the organized waterfall tour, our private driver, the Spa treatment and all the other hotel facilities. Our room number was 107 and it was the first room next to the main swimming pool. Only a green lawn separates the beach from the back garden where we had our own private swimming pool. The room was so big it feels like staying in an old castle and had one of the biggest beds I have ever slept in. The 6m high ceiling, some great pieces of art, a sofa, a huge desk, a seating area and a majestic 3m high mirror where some other interior highlights. The bathroom is integrated in the garden where there was a big fishpond. Shower and bathtub our outside surrounded by nature. The Wi-Fi throughout the resort is surprisingly really good. Signal and speed were but fantastic and one of the best I have experienced in Indonesia. The hotel complex is huge and it is lovely to wander around. Everywhere you will find pieces of art and other things of interest. Every time you go around you will discover another lovely spot. There is another massive pool, unfortunately I only had time to take a look at it the morning we left. Seriously this is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in! The hotel organised a perfect private tour for us to the best waterfalls in Lombok. Our driver was lovely and let the us free in wherever we wanted to go. It was completely tailored to our wishes. We scheduled a massage at the resort, but because we loved the tour so much we were 3h late. That was no issue and as soon as we arrived the staff organized the massage for us. The spa treatment was absolutely lovely and definitely I would definitely recommend it. All perfectly planned! For sunset we walked around in low tide and search for tiny marine life. There is so much you can find in the 20cm deep water: nudiebranch, starfish, spanish dancer, crabs, little shrimps, etc. The staff brought us water shoes and helped us finding funny marine life. There is a raft out in the sea, it seems far, but is pretty close and snorkelling around is fun. The hotel also offers a canoe and a SUP board free of charge. Absolutely great experiences, thank you all! I wish I remembered the names of the staff to thank them personally. Our boat from Bali arrived at a pier only 9km from the resort and a normal meter taxi was only $2. The hotel did not have a complimentary pick up/drop off. For such a low-fare it would have been a nice service if this would be complimentary. Would have saved a lot of hassle. The only thing I can come up with is that the prices of food and beverages in the resort are somehow a bit outrageous compared to the standard prices in Indonesia, but luxury has its price so somehow it’s understandable. It seems that there is not much around the resort but I did not really do an effort finding something else as we were treated like royals by the fabulous staff."Misool Eco Resort: "Beautiful, Remote, Charming and Friendly. Just paradise Really"
"If you like scuba diving, peaceful tranquility, a crystal clear turquoise ocean, friendly unpretentious service, beautiful unpolluted pristine beaches and holidays are a priority that you don't mind spending a bit of cash extra on, then Misool would be a great choice. If you have small children, like hectic nightlife or need to work within a tight budget then Misool may not be the place to stay. For the four of us ( we travelled as two couples) it was heaven on earth! We are keeen scuba divers and have dived in many places across the globe but Misool really is the jewel in the crown. We opted for the unlimited dive package which is definitely worth it if you plan to dive a lot which we did. On offer every day are 4 dives - a pre-breakfast dive, post breakfast dive, afternoon dive and dusk/night dive. If that is still not enough you can dive on the house reef any time. Some dive sites are definitely better than others, but that said nearly all dive sights are significantly better than most dives that we have done elsewhere. We were there in February and the visibility was great. We also had a fair bit of rain but that in no way detracted from our holiday. Marfel, our dive guide was excellent and really looked after us. We were in an incredibly remote location with no access to medical facilities if we had had any sort of emergency but felt safe all the time due to the high standards of safety and equipment that we had. The resort itself is so beautiful, words do not really do it justice. Neither do the pictures on the web site. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate it. The service is also excellent. The staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. So are there any downsides? Well yes there a couple.Firstly getting there. It depends where you are travelling from obviously, but I would say that for most tourists it is going to be a real hike. From Dubai (which is one of the most accessible places in the world) it still took us 3 flights and a 5 hour boat journey. On the way there the boat journey wasn't too bad becuase we were the first on the boat and got the air conditioned seats at the front. On the way back we had a few staff members travelling back as well as the guests and we were stuck at the back - very cramped, with no air conditioning which was pretty uncomfortable for a long trip. Secondly, whilst the whole resort is spacious, beautuful and in some ways luxurious it is on a small island miles from anywhere. In lots of ways this is a bonus but it does mean that the air conditioning does not work as well (or sometimes at all) as it would in places where you would pay this amount of money. It may seem incredibly expensive but then you do need to factor in that absolutely everything, including water needs to be imported. Also quite a bit of money (I don't know how much) goes to conservation projects. One final point - I would not recommend the meet and greet service at the airport. It is quite expensive and a total waste of money. We had to wait nearly an hour in sweltering heat on the pavement for our guide to turn up and when he did, he did not seem to provide any added value service at all. We would have been better queing at the check in for 20 minutes ourselves and paying to get into the lounge for a fraction of the price paid. We did alert Misool to this and they are looking in to trying to change providers. Overall, I cannot fault Misool Eco Resort. This was probably the best holiday I have ever had and I would go back to Misool again tomorrow if I could. Thank you to the Misool team for making our stay so special ! "Babe: "Excellent food and view! What a memorable evening"
We had dinner at Babe with 5 other people. The food was unique and original, I especially love the Japanese influence in all the dishes. The Hokkaido Don and King Crab Chawamushi was the winner of the evening. Definitely a must try!The Apsara Rive Droite: "Great experience"

"We were invited to Seeds on behalf of the extremely generous, creative, artistic & kind owners, Lucia and Felix Eppiser, as a gift for their staff in that we were sharing conscious movement workshops to build team morale, body awareness & self esteem. This alone should tell you what an amazing couple they are - the very fact that they create workshops and events like this for their staff, treating them like beloved family and wanting the best for them to experience! For many of the staff, they may never have the opportunity to be with a professional dancer multiple times over a week and in such a fun, joyful, team building way. I also heard from the staff that the owners gift many types of trainings to them, team building experiences and fun activities. How wonderful! Lucia and Felix care so much about the well being of their staff, and this care is reflected in the way the staff presents themselves, how they serve, how they interact with the guests and with each other. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful, efficient, and incredibly courteous. We even saw that when it was their off days, the staff were still coming to the restaurant or meeting up with one another. And one of the highlights was to hear the staff’s ‘boy band’ sing a really great song to us as a celebration thank you during one of our meals - they sound like professionals!!! And they were so happy!! This is the kind of talent, artistry, community and joy that Lucia and Felix support within their restaurant family, and it is reflected everywhere. The ambiance of the restaurant is also aesthetically beautiful. And when you hear the stories about how the table cloths were made, how the drapes were woven, how the plates were commissioned, how the cups and bowls were selected, how the murals were done on the walls, where the lamps come from, etc - you will again see how much care the owners have taken to not only create a beautiful restaurant with meaning, but most importantly - to include the local artistry of the Myanmar community — so much has been hand crafted by the locals, and to me, this was an astonishing surprise. It is easy to simply buy in bulk from premade factories, but Lucia and Felix have taken the time to select the best and to support the local craftsmanship. Now the food... oh my... it is insanely delicious!! We couldn’t stop eating! And we are challenging diners in that we are vegan, gluten free... and Felix specially created 7 course meals day after day for us that were absolutely delicious, as well as so beautiful! The culinary artistry of Felix is one of a kind. The care in which the food is displayed, how the local ingredients are transformed into unique gourmet dishes - and the gluten free bread (the best I have ever had!) — all was exquisite! You will really feel that you have stepped into a private oasis, a hidden utopia, when you enter Seeds. The wall of bamboo on the outside gives a feeling of going into a secret garden that is far away from the hustle and bustle of Yangon. The lake view is superb, and just wait until the dry season when you can sit lakeside or even have the VIP in the bamboo bird’s nest (I believe it is the most unique structure at Seeds!). Whether you are with business, on a date, having a marriage reception, or with your family - your experience will be fantastic. We really look forward to returning to Seeds again in the near future!"Satri House: "Amazing"
Perfect boutique hotel, where style matches fantastic services: it’s like living in a beautiful house, furnished and decorated with amazing taste. Restaurant is worth both breakfasts and dinners: this is a must-stay here
