Maduzi Hotel: "Home again"
"I've been coming here on business several times a year for 5 or 6 years. A small boutique hotel just off the main drag. Things have evolved but the friendlyness and quality remain. This tranquil oasis with 24 hour service remains a global favourite. With 24hour bar and coffee service and flexible check out a boon to the business traveller. Everything happens at its own tranquil pace be that breakfast, check in or coffee. Nothing is to much trouble."Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Lombok at its best"
"Rooms can be beautiful, beaches pristine clear, food excellent (and all of this was), but what makes an hotel stands out from the rest is its staff! I do not know when and if I shall return to Tugu Lombok but it has made a mark in my travel experiences! Everything eas just so perfect and the last night surprise when we returned to the room way so thoughtful. We just felt genuinely welcomed as guest and not just customers! We leave this hotel with a feeling I have very rarely felt in all my travels! Thank you Tugu hotel Lombok"Rachamankha: "Lovely and serene"
This hotel is a lovely and serene property in the bustle of Chiang Mai, very traditional in style. The pool facility is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the door is made of very heavy wood, and the only window fin the room faced a wall, so the room felt a bit like a cell. Service was gracious, if a bit impersonal. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of the Old City. It is a long walk to the daily morning and night markets, but very convenient to the Sunday night walking street.Heritage Suites Hotel: "Perfect oasis from Temple mania"
"We found this amazing hotel on the mr and mrs Smith website- and immediately booked it in September this year. We have had Cambodia on our bucket list for a while now and very much wanted to see the amazing old temples of Angkor. We wanted a hotel in the city but it had to be private and small with a luxurious feel to it. We found this perfect small boutique in the heritage suite- we couldn’t fault the staff or the bungalow suite that came with our very own steam room :-) Facilities; Swimming pool Pampering Own private grounds The only thing we would recommend they change is the breakfast! It was basic with a limited choice on offer. You could pay more for say an omelet, or smoked salmon, but at Hotel that is classifying itself as a five-star facility then you would expect a much better choice all included."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Special dinner at a special place. You’ll need a reservation"
"No need to consider twice. Make sure you make a reservation, and go. 6-course trail of amazingness and a great selection of drinks (we had wine for this visit, but the cocktail menu also seemed fantastic). The vibe is cozy/intimate, with some personal touch of the owners. Two thumbs up!"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Gastonomic Ecstasy!"
"For the finest of dining experiences in Yangon, Myanmar swing by SEEDS and meet welcoming hosts Lucia and Felix. A perfect lakeside setting with a beautiful garden and hidden table spots giving a wonderfully unique culinary experience. We started with beautifully presented canapés on a marble platter followed by freshly home marinated Norwegian salmon on a celery salad with orange and sour cream. Next up was homemade truffle ravioli on leek with a truffle foam which was simply mouthwatering. The main event was a succulent lamb rack wrapped in Serrano ham and homemade mustard chutney. It was complimented with a green pea mash and lightly topped with a ginger and mint salad. On the side Shan State baby new potatoes tossed with onion and young vegetables to share. I’m not a dessert guy but the handcrafted pieces of art that arrived in front of us didn’t last long! Finally, shoring up the show was a superbly balanced Chapoutier Marius Grenache Shiraz supplied by The Warehouse. The combination of a carefully thought out menu based on the elements of life (water, fire, air and earth), interesting and artistic presentation, the highest quality ingredients ingeniously combined to tantalise the palate in such a beautifully landscaped location would impress even the most demanding of diners. A 'must visit' during a trip to Yangon!"Inle Princess Resort: "Top of the Line"
"The best place to stay on Inle Lake. Gorgeous private lakeside location with beautifully landscaped ground. Well located for touring. Totally service oriented in the most friendly of ways. Very comfortable large individual chalets with large balconies, fireplace, seating area, fridge, safe, large bathroom to include outdoor shower. Nice pool area to relax at day's end. Beautiful lakeside deck for meals. We have high expectations and they were met. On arrival we asked for extra lamps (we don't like dark rooms), space heaters for the bathroom and main room and extra blankets and towels ... all were promptly and cheerfully provided. The dinning room staff was exceptional helpful in arranging meals to our individual taste. Plan on eating here ... no where else to eat."Satri House: "A gem of Laos"
My wife picked this hotel. I was very impressed with this choice. It was unbelievably comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Since we stayed more than a week here, we changed room twice to get different feel. Money was well spent.Villa Song: "Best year end dinner ever"
"There are many places for eating out in Saigon but it’s almost impossible to find a place more cosy and romantic than Villa Song. We joined the Sylvester dinner, had great food, starting with kitchen greeting, soup, scallops, a delicious lobster and fantastic dessert. Framed by european and Vietnamese music time flew towards midnight. We will always remember this amazing year end."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Neeleshwar Hermitage offers a truly peaceful and luxurious stay in a beautiful setting"
"Neeleshwar Hermitage transpired to be the most beautiful, tranquil and restful place you could possibly imagine. On arrival, with the warmth of the greeting, the hectic world faded away and we relaxed into having time stand still. Ayurvedic massage, beautiful gardens, warm sea, the infinity pool...... and a superb chef all played their part in making it such a memorable experience. The cottages were delightful from the spacious bedroom to the open air bathroom. The hospitality, warmth and genuine charm of the staff was truly heartwarming. After a free consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor I went daily to the beautiful Ayurvedic spa - Priva, for massage and treatment with warm oils. What luxury and weeks later I am still feeling benefits."
