VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Beautiful Hotel"
"We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. Would love to go back "Rahai’i Pangun: "One of the best trips we have ever done"
"We had the most marvellous and memorable 4 day trip on the boat in October. The staff were absolutely superb. Only superlatives will do. We were so fortunate to have Putu who informed us without lecturing. He was so easy to get on with. We were very fortunate and my husband, daughter and I had the boat to ourselves because the other family booked on the boat wanted to do a private charter. We have been on beautiful boats on the backwaters in Kerala on several occasions and also on boats in Myanmar and Vietnam but this beats them all by a mile. The river was serene and we hardly saw any tourist boats only the locals going about their work. Seeing the orangutans and learning about them was one of the best things that we have done in a long time. They are such beautiful and intelligent animals and I now try not to buy any products which contain palm oil which is destroying their habitat. "David’s Kitchen: "Best dining experience in Chiang Mai"
This restaurant is a must if you are in Chiang Mai. The food, service and overall experience were exceptional. David greeted us upon arrival to the restaurant and continued to check in on us throughout the meal. He and his staff made us feel like royalty. The food was second to none. Highlights included the pumpkin soup and wagyu beef cheek. We walked away with full stomachs and fuller smiles. We can't wait to come back next time.David’s Kitchen: "Great food and service"
"The whole place is gorgeous and the layout of the restaurant is very elegant. We first found out about this place on trip advisor and decided to check out this award winning restaurant. The food and service did not let us down. The owner David greeted us with his warm welcome on our table and was actually willing to share his journey as well as listen to ours. The servers are also very attentive and helpful. The food and wine were recommended by David. My boyfriend loved his beef cheek and I had black truffle fettuccine with lobster claw, also amazing! Glad to have spent the date night in here, would recommend to anybody who is looking to dine in an elegant place with great service in chiang mai."Villa Song Saigon: "A beautiful haven"
A treat at the end of our travels. Outstanding food. Lovely building. Helpful efficient friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Loved the complimentary boat service to Hoi Chi Minh city and the riverside locationBabe: "Wonderful"
"Probably our favourite restaurant during our travels in Vietnam and Laos. Beautiful setting, it is as attractive as it looks on the photos! Excellent service and fantastic food. We went for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we returned for our last lunch before embarking on our home ward journey. We had a la carte, great sausage and pork balls for starters and good chicken curry and stir fried buffalo. Also had one of the set tasting menus which was delicious. Interesting cocktails! Definitely the best in Luang Prabang. It's a little way from the centre of the town, but well worth the journey."Maisons Wat Kor: "A blissful get-away – highly recommend"
"A hidden local architecture hotel with a beautiful pound surrounded by the green garden setting has created a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived by a great hosted and really make us feel at home. It was an unforgettable memory with family and we absolutely can't wait to return ❤️!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Superb experience of unequalled elegance and great company"
This time we decided to experience their sumptuous rice barge for an overnight stay sharing the two lux rooms with private decks with a delightful Norwegian couple we flew over with. Gliding through the tranquil secluded backwaters which was a world away from the clogged waterways of Lake Vermabad. It's a sense of the unexplploited here. We were transferred by car for a 10 minute ride. Our onboard chef, although referred to as cook, created a feast of delights and with our shared guests made dinner on on the roof deck a treasured memory.Slow Villas and Spa: "THE PLACE TO BE"
Our stay was intensely amazing, the team at Slow is extremely professional and friendly and helpful. We felt at home from the minute we stepped in. I will be back to Gili Air just to stay at Slow. Thank you to all the team! The Tiger’s Eye: "Creativity"
Great to see Chef Timothy's creativity back. After trying The Common Tiger, good to see him in his new address at The Tiger's Eye. Different venue, but same vibe, same team around him, same effort to source locally and to shake the established dining scene in Phnom Penh. A must try for connoisseurs!
