SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Excellent Culinary Experience"
"I have been to Seeds a couple of times over the past few months. It is great to see and feel how the team is growing in experience and professionalism. The Service is very pleasant and attentive, with a good knowledge of the product they are serving. The dishes presented were very innovative and well presented. Fine-tuned culinary creations of high international standard, at times with a slight local twist in flavor! A great culinary experience at the shores of the Inya Lake."Mie Cafe: "Amazing dinner in Cambodia-Siem Reap"
Excellent Chef! What a great and wonderful surprise! I strongly recommend! The food was superb and the service is top. Best dinner in Cambodia! It would be a successful restaurant in Europe!Tugu Bali: "Don’t miss the chance to experience this place"
After 10 days of touring in Bali we finally landed at the Tugu. In hindsight I wish we could have spent even more days here. The service was unbelievable, the food was delicious, and the lawn near the beach was just perfection. We can't wait to go back!Misool: "Probably my best Dive Holiday!!!"
"Misool Eco Resort combines the best parts of conservation, sustainability, diving and watersports in a laidback luxury style. The food was always delicious and care is taken to not waste food by preordering meals. Fresh and local ingredients are used. No plastic bottles or packaged products are used on the island and ocean-friendly toiletries are available in the villas. At the same time the attention and friendliness of all staff and the beautiful setup create a 5star experience. The diving sites are some of the best in the world and care is taken that the dive groups stay small and there is never many divers at the same time on one divesite. Sue, Mark and Sabine (the managers and head of watersports) are friendly, fun and very knowledgeable and take time to get to know each guest to ensure everyone can make the most out of their stay! Thanks guys, I had an awesome time!!"Bassac Mekong Delta Cruises by Secret Retreats: "Amazing"
"We spent one night on bassac three which was fantastic. Having had a terrible experience in Halong Bay we were worried- no need at all. We stopped at a coconut factory which was interesting and then joined the boat the cabins were clean and comfortable with an ensuite plenty of hot water. The boat cruised down the Mekong the guide was very knowledgeable and we had a shirt tour of a local village. The food was good and drinks reasonably priced Sitting on the deck watching the local river activity was fantastic, the visit to the floating market on a smaller boat the following morning was also excellent Highly recommended , excellent staff"Maduzi Hotel: "Beautiful, serene hotel with lovely attention to detail"
"We were pointed towards 'small luxury hotels of the world' and found this little charmer. By comparison to a lot of the other hotels on the site, it was relatively inexpensive at just under £100 for the night. The welcome was lovely, a genuine welcome drink from a selection (including alcohol - yay) and a strict rule of no tipping. The lobby is beautifully appointed with great attention to detail, from the sumptuous sofas to the endless array of Asian teapots. The room itself is gorgeous, with a GINORMOUS bed which could easily sleep around 27 good friends, a fabulous infinity jacuzzi bath and separate large dressing area and luggage storage. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and likely stay again. Stayed April 2017"Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful Gem of a Boutique Hotel – Do Not Miss"
"A beautifully restored French Colonial property, Villa Song boasts just 23 rooms in a low key neighborhood, surrounded by expat residences and international schools. Hard to imagine that not much more than a decade ago, this area was pretty much swamp land! Before going, you really should know what Villa Song is not: - This is not a large chain hotel - every contact you have with the staff is friendly and warm, and chances are you may not know their names but they will certainly know yours. You're not just a face in the crowd. However, for being of such an intimate size, Villa Song has the extras that you don’t often find in similar boutique hotels: a gorgeous long swimming pool for doing laps or sunning yourself by, a pretty decently equipped gym room (machines & free weights), and a spa that doesn’t break the bank. - This is not a property you visit to party at as there's no late night bar or club thumping away downstairs (thank goodness). Along the same lines, don’t expect around-the-clock room service – we certainly didn’t miss it, since there’s a ton of late night delicious eats in this city. - Having said that, this is not the most accessible hotel to popular street eats and the sights, but it's surprisingly easy to get around, thanks to the complimentary hotel boat shuttle that zips you up/down the Saigon River to/from the Cau Mong pier on the border of Districts 4 & 1. These run on a schedule (book at the reception beforehand), and if there isn't one when you need it, an Uber saves you the hassle of dealing with unscrupulous cabbies, and takes you to/from the middle of District 1 within 15min for around US$6- US$7. Now onto what this beautiful property IS: - It is infinitely charming. Every room is unique, and even the same room type will vary in size. You'll get the same awesome water pressure in the shower though, which we loved, and lightning fast wi-fi. Also, in our case, although the Sanctuary room that we were upgraded to was a bit petite in size, we had a wonderful good-sized balcony that overlooked the river...perfect for a mid-afternoon beer (complimentary from the minibar) or a snooze. Breakfasts by the river are a calming way to start the day, no matter what time you decide to rise (!!!), and the food is well- portioned and delicious. And THAT iced Vietnamese coffee...my partner and I will be dreaming of those until our next visit! - It is incredibly service oriented. From check-in to check-out, and for our every want in-between, the staff at Villa Song offer up their help with warmth and smiles...we felt truly welcomed and at home. Besides our complimentary room upgrade upon our late night check-in, we were surprised with a cheesecake plate that was decorated with warm wishes (the trip was a belated birthday trip for my partner) – we were very touched. - It is really good value for money. While it’s not the cheapest hotel around, it certainly delivers much better bang for your buck than you’d expect for similar boutique properties, especially if you can find a deal through a third party website. Bathrooms are fully equipped with toiletries, toothbrushes and other bits you may have forgotten, hairdryers, and in-room Nespresso and minibar is complimentary (albeit with a selection that’s a bit spare), and the value-add of the boat shuttle to town that I mentioned previously takes it to the next level. Thank you to everyone at the Villa Song for a wonderful stay! The next time we visit, we will definitely be indulging ourselves with a stay at one of your beautifully appointed suites. We can’t wait."Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Nice and Cozy"
"I went on the cruise in late winter (beginning of Jan), still not that hot and humid. Went on the cruise at Their small eating room which is nice location and nice traditional Thai food. Cruise Staff is really nice and smiley, drinks are good. Fantastic decoration. Love it!!"Satri House: "A treasure"
We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.Pindaya Farm House: "Such a peaceful place – a true bliss"
"Pindaya Farm House was our final stay on our little tour around Myanmar. We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful! I have previously stayed at the Farm House when it just opened and was a new promising place; a lot has changed since then, hence a new review. The staff and of course the owner and manager Aye Aye are all amazing and super helpful, the place is a true bliss, the food is divine, and the garden is slowly showing its lush character. We had great drinks, great wine, peace and quietness. We warmed up in front of the fire place, we had long walks in the area, cycled around on the house’s well maintained bicycles, and we visited the beautiful caves of Pindaya, which are highly recommendable. We received helpful advice for what to do and how. The only suggestion I would like to make is for the Farm House to sort out the hot water – we didn’t have any hot water while there and given we came from Samkar where hot water was also scarce then we were getting rather eager for a hot shower…. All in all Pindaya remains one of my favourite places to visit and we could easily have chilled another day there with our books, coffee and on the terrace…. A highly recommendable place to visit."
