Locavore: "Diana"

I wrote a review two days ago and got the name of the restaurant wrong! Now I want to redress that. Restaurant Locavore was superb! We went for my daughters birthday and we all had such a great experience. The food was awesome; the generosity of courses was amazing and the staff were kind, friendly and completely professional. This was our second visit in two years and we look forward to visit number three next year!

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"

"This is one of my favorite places in the world. As soon as you wade ashore off the long tail boat that drops you off you know your somewhere special. It's a wonderful escape from work, city living and the world. There's nothing to do here but relax. A 10km long beach with pretty much no one on it and beautiful water. Small islands and mangrove swamps to explore by kayak. Beautiful beach homes to kick back in. The option of yoga in the morning and massage any time of day. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"

JL Studio: "Superb meal and experience"

I really like this restaurant. It doesn't have too many tables, so it's not crowded. The kitchen is open to the customers - always a good sign. The staff are all good. The food, cooking, and experience, all superb. Not too expensive, although it is not cheap. The pork fat candles were excellent. Everything was excellent. Had a glass of very good wine. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The chef came out to talk to us. We had a lovely time.

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Little piece of paradise"

We stayed here for 4 nights and what a magical time that was. We could not have been happier with the service we received by staff of Sanak. The employes of Sanak retreat is what makes Sanak of what it is. They are absolutely amazing. Fell in love this place and will definitely come back on my next trip to Beautiful Bali

Sea Dance Resort: "Our Happy Place in Thailand!"

"Thank you again Poy and your incredible team for welcoming us back with open arms and making us feel like family! A New Years Eve to remember! We where one of your first visitors 3 odd years ago and had no doubt in choosing to stay at Sea Dance again this visit even though there where a 1000 other places to perhaps try! We are still in Thailand, and at our third stop after Sea Dance! Although the venues we have chosen are visually beautiful, none have made us feel as welcome and special as you all did, at Sea Dance! It is really home away from home! We are so proud to see your beautiful resort mature and blossom and get all the awards you are truly due! Our only regret was that we only booked 7 days it went by too quickly! Can't wait to visit again! Hugs to you all! Lisa and Vaughan."

The Island Lodge: "aradise on the Mekong Delta"

We were lucky enough to stay here for one night after booking the Les Rives 2 day Mekong Delta speedboat tour. After an awesome day, we had a 1-2hr speedboat ride and had a bit of a snooze.....we woke up just as we arrived at the lodge and wow, instantly it took our breath away. We were greeted personally by the check in staff, room manager and then Michel (one of the owners). This place is beautiful, not crowded, such a feeling a peace and tranquility. Every member of staff was exceptional. If we head back to Vietnam again.....we know where we will be staying :)

The Island Lodge: "Wow"

"We started our day with a jolt. We had asked for a bicycle tour in the Mekong area, and started on 1A, one of the busiest roads in Vietnam. That lasted about an hour, and we almost died several times from close encounters with scooters, trucks and the like. This is not what we had signed up for. After that, to end the day at The Island Lodge was like a bit of Heaven. The hotel was small, unexpected, welcoming and a haven of calm. I don't get the rating systems. This hotel is rated three star. I would rate it much higher. The next day we stayed at a three star in Vinh Long. What a dump that was. Going from Heaven to Hell. And kudos to owner Michel. We like wine with our meals. Good and reasonably priced wine is hard to find in Asia. Leave it to a Frenchman like Michel to have an excellent house wine that is both good tasting and reasonably priced. And the meals were very very good. We only stayed one night. We wanted to stay more (you have no idea; near death experiences engender an appreciation for the finer things in life) and will be back. If you have the opportunity, do stay here. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Supanniga Eating Room: "Wonderful food"

We went here on our last night in Bangkok and it was great. Highlight of the meal was the deep fried lotus root and mushroom, served with a sweet mango sauce.

Satri House: "Just wonderful and charming!"

"Excellent in every way! Top in quality of the rooms decorated with local and colonial furniture, the staff is helpful, the spa was really agreeable, the restaurant is top even if the staff is still lacking a bit of experience in the way of taking orders. For sure, this will be the place I will go back to next time I am in Luang Prabang."

Locavore: "Absolute excellence"

Locavore was recommended to us by friends. It is a wonderful food experience to have in Ubud. Expect many more courses than you think and everything you put in you mouth is superb. Presentation, particular the crockery is unique. Loved everything. It is a set menu - 5 or 7 courses for lunch. We chose 5 but you get many more. We were there for my husbands 60th birthday and they presented him with a cake in a coconut with candle at the end. Very special.
