"Ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir vier Tage lang genossen haben. Das war nach der langen Reise der ideale Einstieg für Laos. Von hier aus kann man die alte Königsstadt Luang Prabang erkunden - und kehrt gerne wieder zurück. Das historische Haus mit seinem zauberhaften Garten, den Pools, der Bar und dem sehr guten Restaurant ist nach den Besichtigungstagen eine Oase der Entspannung. Sehr freundlicher Service. This was the most luxurious, tranquil hotel that I have probably ever stayed in!! We arrived here after 12 days cycling holiday and I just needed to be pampered for a few days and sleep and boy does this hotel provide that.. The hotel is small with very high standard setting for meals and the breakfast is all day!! Regardless of when u wake up you can have it, and it was well worth waking up for.. This restaurant features a choice of tasting menus which are probably the very best that I have tasted. We chose the 8 course menu which somehow ended up becoming 20 courses, courtesy of the restaurant. Don't worry, it is true "value for money" but if you are a true foodie - this is the place! Loved this hotel - rooms are very large and generous (and like the fact that there is no TV), the pool area is the perfect place to relax, staff went out of their way to be super helpful. Views of the ocean are magical. The local indian food was very good, but Western options not up to the same standard (including at breakfast). The real highlight of staying here was going out for the night on the river boat in the backwaters. Super romantic, a really special experience. An excellent experience. Never seen it better. Well located. Nice people and an athmosphere from a forgotten time. I will come back. Ask for help and you get it. Afternoon tea in the garden is a must. You Can use the free bikes to acces all locations of importance within the City.
