Les Maisons d’Itac: "Like home..only better"

Review by: bina112 | Source: Trip Advisor
"It has been a month since my friends and I had the pleasure to spend the most relaxing time at les Maisons. What can I say, it is a piece of paradise. We were really happy and so relaxed. The staff is more than staff, I really want to describe them as friends and family. Brian, Raiden, Marvin, Rose, Leah and of course Stacy, and our protector and compansion Itac. We miss all of them so much, we get nostalgic and homesick when we look at the pictures and videos we took. Once you have been there, you do not want to leave. If you have to, like us..one will be gripped by this constant wanderlust! Thank you so much for one of the best times! We will be back! FYI, the food is also really good!! =)"

Villa Song Saigon: "Attention to detail superb"

Review by: Ashaboo | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a fabulous hotel to stay at. I decided to treat my 12 year old girl to a night at Villa Song to celebrate her birthday. We were not disappointed. From the booking to when we left, the hotel and its staff were excellent. Their communication was first class and we felt in good hands. Upon arrival we went up to the beautiful art suite, overlooking the Saigon River, to find the most beautiful rose bouquet and a handwritten note as a birthday welcome for my girl. The room was stunning, as was the bouquet. The room has an amazing view and as it is at the top (room 308) has an incredible view of the river. We had dinner sitting outside overlooking the river too. It has an indoor and outdoor section, but sitting outside was glorious. The lights and candles add to the ambience, although the music does need to change. Some beautiful Vietnamese music would be more appropriate. Dinner itself was a delight. The flavours of the food were intriguing and inviting and we were waited on well. The last surprise was a lovely cheesecake for my girl for her birthday - a lovely thought. The pool is lovely and warm and a very good size. Lastly, we had a spa treatment which was superb as well. We had both a facial and an aromatherapy massage. Both were delightful. Without a doubt we would love to return. The staff were so accommodating and this hotel deserves its excellent ratings."

Tugu Malang: "Luxury and services are beyond expectation"

Review by: AdFiaSasongko | Source: Trip Advisor
"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. "

Rachamankha: "Secret Escape"

Review by: Jtung74 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed at the Rachmankha last year and was very impressed. At the end of my stay we decided to enquire about booking the hotel to celebrate my partners birthday for November this year. Since then we have had a lot of email exchange with Wanida. She is always very accommodating and helpful and very quick in responding - we knew we were in good hands. Let me start with the cons of the hotel. It is not a brand new property and some hardware (especially bedroom and bathroom in superior rooms) could benefit from a renovation; the service by the pool could also be a problem sometimes due to language barrier. However those are the only improvement I could think of. The hotel is tucked away on the West side of the old town. It's so peaceful and quiet but you can also walk to any part of the old town easily. Being a small property it has a very intimate and cozy feel to it, and the public area is just stunning - beautiful pool, stunning public lounge and garden and great flower arrangement in the restaurant. Breakfast is a highlight. They had some simple buffet spread of juices, cold cut, bread, yoghurt and fruit, and you can order two items from the a la carte menu. It was a very relaxing experience to have breakfast in the sunny courtyard to start the day. We also had dinners at the hotel. Again the courtyard provides a great set up for a romantic evening thanks to the local Thai music (live instrument) and the decoration of the place. We host a celebration dinner at the courtyard. The team has put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable evening. The pool area is always nice to spend your day, or just for a dip after a hot day in Chinag Mai or Elephant Nature Park. The hotel does not accept children so the place is quiet. Few of my friends had massages by the pool and they were all happy with the treatment. We were very happy we came back to this lovely hotel and in fact few of us are already planning for our next trip. I have stayed at so many hotels globally, but Rachmankha is just a special place."

Rachamankha: "Delightful boutique hotel"

Review by: GH24 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Delightful boutique hotel set in an old building with lots of character. We had a room set around a pretty courtyard area. It was a bit small by 5* Thai standards but nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is set in a lovely courtyard where you have both breakfast & dinner. It has a reasonable breakfast choice with buffet & a la carte options - I had the Egg Benedict and an omelette on separate occasions which were both really tasty. We also ate twice in the evening (see separate entry). Lovely quiet swimming pool with the sun from 09.00. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Location might be an issue for some people as it is quite far from the market and busier part of town but I would certainly go back to enjoy the tranquility of the place. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

The Island Lodge: "Perfect Mekong retreat"

Review by: Alex L | Source: Trip Advisor
I spent one great night here on the banks of the impressive Mekong river. On arrival,as a business group, we were given a fantastic, warm welcome, inclusive refreshing towel and a wonderful "fruit cocktail" and tea. Check in was smooth and incredibly friendly. Michel and his Wife were on hand as part of the welcoming party. I had a very comfortable (the bed and the pillows were a perfect match for an excellent sleep) room overlooking the river. Pity we did not have our evening meal at the hotel restaurant since we had an outside appointment arranged. However, next morning I had a delightful breakfast, in the very pleasant restaurant surroundings. My hat off to the staff who created and added value to the short but memorable one nighter. If you are looking for something special on the Mekong this is highly recommended. Enjoy the Island Lodge!

MesaStila: "Java at its best"

Review by: guycross | Source: tripadvisor.com
"MesaStila is one of those places that blows you away. So many things about our trip far exceeded our expectations. The food was awesome. The rooms are beautiful. A highlight was the Easter Egg painting hunt that the staff ran for our two little boys. Yokyo (maybe not correct spelling) was sweet and made sure our little ones felt special. Thank you. We hope to be back. "

The Village House: "Lovely place"

Review by: Kerry A | Source: Trip Advisor
"A wonderful experience which I can't get elsewhere in Kuching. Five stars services, clean and comfortable room, romantic ambience. This is a place where you can truly relax and have a peace of mind. We spent about half an hour looking for the place because there is no sign saying 'the village house' and the gate is closed. Once entered there is a small sign written 'secret inn' at which the place actually live up to its name. We were greeted by Flora and welcome drinks. A few rules have to be kept in mind for example no shoes in certain areas, have to order our dinner earlier and main gate is closed by 10pm. By the way, the dinner is very nice though its bit expensive (costs us rm76 for fish&chip, grilled chicken sandwiches and a dessert) There is free wifi but the signal is weak in our room. With no tv and wifi in the room, you can truly be close to the nature and your loved ones. Dont worry, there is an entertainment room full of books, board games and also an astro tv. "

TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "Fabulous Respite"

Review by: Andrea M | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We stayed here after a grueling six day trek, and what a welcome reward it was! From the moment we disembarked from our jeep, up the steep driveway to the property, our entire group was awed. Literally perched on a mountain top, you have sweeping views from both sides of the mountain. The villas scattered around the property work to maintain privacy, while the beautiful common area has little nooks for privacy, or you can choose to sit on the beautiful verandah, to take in the views, have a drink and rest. The dinner, meanwhile, was delicious, with the tables elegantly set in a non-pretentious way. The villa was beautifully decorated, and again, after our hard work and life in a tent on the trek, the luxurious bed and bathroom was so welcomed! It is truly a retreat - either from the demands that wonderful Nepal asks of you as her traveler, or from the demands that your daily life asks of you. I will certainly return - and might just take in one day in Kathmandu, then come directly back to Tiger Mountain Lodge for three days of beautiful relaxation and rejuvenation. "
