Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Great Place"
What a great surprise this little boutique hotel. All staff absolutely polite and very kind. The Restaurant at the top of the building is a great place to enjoy sunset with a beautiful view of the river just in front of you . Our suite was very spacious with all the amenities available at the bathroom and a unexpected plate of fresh fruits was awaiting for us at the suite. We were offered the suite with a large balcony and seeing the night life of the city from the balcony was an unforgettable experience. Strongly recommend the Nam Bo which is a delicious place to stay at Can ThoMaduzi Hotel: "A hidden gem of a hotel in Bangkok"
Wow! This is the second time we've stayed at the Maduzi Hotel on Soi 16 Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok. Our room was spacious, huge larger than king sized COMFORTABLE bed, work area for laptop and fax messages, included (free) non-alcohol beverages and snacks in fridge, plenty of amenities in bathroom, including an unusual jacuzzi tub (2 can fit....). Very close to Asoke SkyTrain elevated train(BTS) and MRT underground subway stations. Close to shopping at Terminal 21 Shopping Center, close to Soi Cowboy for go go bars, and the Argentine Steak House is a 10 minute walk....Outstanding. The cost...you ain't gonna believe it. A tremendous value compared to any of the big name hotels along Sukhumvit Road. Contact the hotel directly on their website - and initiate an e-mail to them to find out what deals are available. OUTSTANDING. (Please: the hotel has CNN in the Lobby, but not in the room - Al Jazzeeria and BBC are in the room) - although there is a Bose radio and dvd player, neither that player or the t.v. had an accessible USB or HDMI port to plug in your content from a laptop or external hard drive or smart phone. This needs to be addressed, but does not distract greatly from this room. The Island Lodge: "Excellent"
"We really enjoyed our stay at The Island Lodge. We went in December for our holidays, and our experience was by far the best. We can't say thank you enough for your immaculate service, and very beautiful hotel. The food was delicious, good cuisine with a french touch, mixed with the traditional Vietnamese gastronomy. We recommend The Island Loge 100%. You will certainly enjoy your stay there, I know we did! Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "It won’t disappoint – Book (via email) well in advance!"
"We'd heard of Cuisine Wat Damnak for years and with a recent trip to Angkor, we could not miss the opportunity to give it a go. It certainly didn't disappoint - even if you're not familiar with Khmer cuisine, this place is a treat and an education ... it certainly made us more curious. The menu is seasonal and changes frequently - you get a choice of 2 tasting menus of either 5 or 6 courses. The most expensive it gets is USD31/person without alcohol - pricy for the rest of Siem Reap but a steal to dine in one of Asia's top 50 restaurants. The wine and beverage menu is extensive and the chef-proprieter Joannès Rivière will be on hand to recommend you something that suits. He's also happy to explain dishes if you need - but really, just sit and savour the flavours."Jing’s Residence: "Incredible service and attention to detail"
Pingyao is amazing and so is Jing's residence…a wonderful experience with great care taken by the management and staff to make it a very personal stay. The converted property is something of a rabbit warren but the the rooms are sumptuous with stunning architecture and interior design. To top it off they food and service were simply superb….the dinner was terrific and the breakfast beat anything we had during 2 weeks in China.Cuca: "Great food and presentation"
Wonderful knowledgeable staff and great service. The food was excellent. We had a wide variety of dishes and everyone was very pleased with the quality and taste. Been back many times and can't fault the place.Maduzi Hotel: "Amazing Room"
Maduzi is accessible, 5 minutes walk from asoke. The room is super spacious and bed was so comfortable. We had such a great rest every night. Panpuri products provided for bath was fantastic too. Gym facilities was good too.Tugu Bali: "A hidden gem"
"ugu was the perfect choice to accommodate all ages & tastes of our family, with 3 teenage surfers: within a lively environment & in front of a fantastic wave. A little heaven close enough from the lively night spots. We loved our suites, we loved the swimming pool, we loved the quiet atmosphere and charming staff. I loved the massages. The Japanese restaurant was a hit, set in a fantastic decor. Time is suspended in Tugu, for a truly exceptional holiday."tugu bali: "Special Place"
"We recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Tugu Bali with our family. Every element of our stay was outstanding starting with the most friendly staff. Always with a smile, going beyond to ensure our total satisfaction and understanding of this unique cultural hotel. We highly recommend the Tugu Bali, a very special place to stay ! "David’s Kitchen: "The best restaurnt we’ve ever visited"
"My husband and I love trying out the local fancy restaurants when on holiday, but fear we might have peaked at David's Kitchen! We still have 2 weeks of our Thailand adventure but doubt anything could better our amazing night this evening. The transport is lovely, private AC transport in a nice car. Extremely warm welcome from the very lovely staff. Lots of personal touches on the table, e.g. our names, an anniversary card - there is so much thought and detail given to each table! The lovely owner, David, is walking around all night chatting to the guests. He does this all 6 nights the restaurant is open, so must love his job!! He has really interesting stories to tell so definitely engage him in conversation :) The menu is amazing, we spent a good 20 minutes deciding what to eat as it all sounded so good! The cocktail menu is extensive and includes a fab mixture of classics and signatures, and are extremely well priced. The food was amazing too and very fast service, but we never felt rushed. Even though we were both so full we had to squeeze in dessert as we were enjoying the food so much! We asked David about his chef and were kindly invited into the kitchen to meet him! We've now got a great picture with David and all the team we'll never forget :) And the icing on the cake was being presented with a beautiful bunch of roses to celebrate our anniversary :) the evening, food and service was absolutely fantastic and perfect. It was one of the best nights of our lives and will certainly not be forgotten! Thank you to David, your lovely wife and chef, and all of the team for a perfect evening."
