Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Incredible Experience, not to be missed"

Review by: alexandradsmith | Source: Trip Advisor
I loved my time visiting the Inle Heritage House during my stay in Inle Lake. Passionate and talented people doing fantastic work. I enjoyed the cat sanctuary, the architecture and design of the space, the garden and sustainability efforts, and the opportunities for cooking classes... all of this while supporting the local community and hospitality education program. I would recommend a visit to anyone who will be traveling to Myanmar. Please support and enjoy this fantastic organization.

Sea Dance Resort: "Quiet Oasis with 5 star service"

Review by: Starz C | Source: Trip Advisor
A Gem of the island nestled in the Choeng Mon area of Koh Samui with stylish accommodation and excellent friendly customer service. The bungalows are set within well designed, maintained and manicured tropical gardens with a beautiful pool and their signature restaurant 'Sea Salt' serving mouth watering thai dishes beside a secluded almost private beach with some great snorkelling amongst the corals just offshore.

Maduzi Hotel: "Luxurious hotel in peaceful, quiet side of Bangkok"

Review by: Kelly H | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you are looking for a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok's city centre like Siam or Chit Lom, then Maduzi is the perfect hotel for you. It is super accessible, as it is a few minutes walk away from Asoke BTS and the hotel totally quiet and exclusive. To access the BTS from Maduzi, you can either walk along the road or take an escalator from inside Exchange Tower, which is about 3 minutes walk away from Maduzi. It is also part of the Small Luxury Hotels group. The biggest pro of this hotel is that it takes away a lot of the normal travel anxiety that one would experience. They have a completely flexible check in and check out timing, which is great if you are checking in really early or checking out really late. I recommend letting the hotel know in advance via email. There is also no deposit required. You also get free wifi at a fast speed! The hotel offerings are unlike any other. The room comes with an espresso machine with free coffee, tea and mini bar. The sheets, which I never considered as a point to review, were the smoothest and most comfortable silk sheets I've ever laid in. The bed is HUGE, I think about king size or larger. The toilet itself is a marvel. There is so much counter space and a large mirror. There is also a rain shower, a small walk-in closet so your luggage is kept out of the way. The hallmark of it all - A JACUZZI TUB. It can be quite tricky to turn on because you have to wait about 15-20minutes for the water to overflow from the tub so that the jacuzzi function can be turned on. It's interesting because the water flows in from the ceiling rather than from a faucet. To be honest, the jacuzzi jet is quite gentle and I typically prefer a stronger jet. However, this jacuzzi feature itself is already a lot to shout about. The TV itself is probably the most underwhelming feature because most channels were slightly fuzzy and off-colour. However, it comes with a Bose surround sound! You do have to operate two remotes for the TV system. If you get overwhelmed by all the amenities in the room, there is a user guide for guests on how to use the safe, espresso machine, tub etc. that comes in English and really easy to understand, so don't worry. There is an office desk and chair, and a super comfy reclining chair in the room as well. The room is pretty huge and comfortable. Breakfast is from 6.30am to 11am with the last order at 10.30am. Instead of a breakfast buffet, you get to choose a breakfast main from a small menu and enjoy a free flow of salad bar which includes salads, fruits, bread and cereal. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary welcome drink either at the lobby or sent up to your room at any time during your stay. I must commend the great service as well. They will help you with anything you need and they explicitly mention that their staff do not accept tips. Also, I emailed the hotel ahead of time to request for a special arrangement as we were checking in on the day of my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel arranged for a free chocolate lava cake sent to our room with a birthday message for him written in chocolate syrup on the plate! The best part of this hotel is how exclusive and quiet it is. There seemed to be a few other guests staying at Maduzi during the time I stayed there, which means you don't have to deal with a crowded and noisy breakfast area. You almost feel like you are the only one staying at the hotel. This is a hotel for people who are looking to escape the business of Bangkok's city centre and want to enjoy a more quiet (and expensive) side. If you are staying here, I recommend popping over to Phrom Phong BTS, one stop away from Asoke BTS, because that is where the new EM district is. The EM District has two high end malls (Emporium and EM Quarter) as well as Artbox night market on the weekend, so there are still some interesting things to see and do in the area. I stayed for one night and everything was really pleasant, the room was amazing and the staff were courteous and helpful. Nothing bad to say about it!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Home away from home"

Review by: jacquelinem449 | Source: Trip Advisor
"My 10the stay at this wonderful, simple and warm lodge. Staff are second to none, food is delicious, the views are simply stunning! Jhalak and Hari made us feel very welcome and spoilt us rotten! The rooms all have a view and are spread over the property in chalets. Morning tea is served there and used as a wake up call. No tv or telephones in room. This preserves the tranquil atmosphere."

misool: "Mind Blowing"

Review by: Andrew H | Source: tripadvison.com
"This would have to be the best overall holiday experience of my life incredible diving and snorkelling a resort that doesn't just talk ECO but walks it in a big way lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting, you don't want to leave. Fabulous staff who really look after you ( get a massage) the food is excellent and they will do something special if you don't fancy anything on the menu. Room Tip: the rooms on the side of the island where the restaurant is save walking. "

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Retreat of all retreats"

Review by: FieldKitchenMgt | Source: Trip Advisor
"We actually stayed here in October 2015 and took the risk of heading up into the mountains to go see what we can find. We came across this special peace of Bali and could not have been happier. The location is stunning and the concept is magical. True Balinese warmth makes this retreat a little slice of heaven. A true experience of all senses and one of the highlights of magical Bali. It is a little trek to get here away from the main coasts and hustle and bustle of Ubud but it is worth it. Step away from the tourist trail and places like this allow you to discover the real beauty of Indonesia and their people. Stayed June 2016, traveled as a couple"

Locavore: "A must-experience in Ubud"

Review by: 20Nothings | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I had a truly memorable dining experience at Locavore during our honeymoon to Bali just two weeks ago. Not only is the food incredible and service superb, but the local ingredients provide such an amazing introduction to the place, time and history of this part of the world. We enjoyed dinner at Locavore on our first night in town and it colored the entire trip. In fact, we loved it so much that we stopped in at The Rooster (their bar across the street) and Locavore To Go (their grab-and-go spot just a few doors down) over the next few days. Do not miss this spot on your trip. Worth every single penny.

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Small family run hotel"

Review by: 489marina | Source: Trip Advisor
Lovely stop on our travel through Cambodia. Food was excellent and rooms lovely. The pool area was being tidied when we were there so hopefully this is complete now. Loved the deep fried flowers we received with our drinks.

Tugu Malang: "Unique, Stylish, & All-Time Favorite Hotel"

Review by: Audrey_Golden | Source: Trip Advisor
I love this hotel. It's an incredibly unique place that's adorned throughout with Indonesian antiques, and it also has an incredible antique shop for browsing or buying (not to mention a very large and well-curated selection of Balinese silver jewelry, both contemporary and vintage). The rooms are fantastic, filled with super stylish antiques, art, and fresh flowers. The hotel also has incredibly cool stationery in each room, reminiscent of grand hotels of the early 20th century. Melati Restaurant, part of the hotel, serves some of the best food in all of Java. This place is truly special and has to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world.

Yandabo Home: "Wonderful hotel that tastes like home"

Review by: Marian B | Source: Trip Advisor
Coming from the busy and noisy Yangon, spending two days in Yandabo Home makes you feel like in heaven. Beautiful rooms with a crazy chic style; very few places like this in Myanmar. One of the best trained staff in the country. Totally worth going!!!
