Chakrabongse Villas: "Wonderful hotel"

Review by: Gregory G | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed one night in this hotel. This hotel is really beautiful. It is authentic and well located in the city. I would definitely recommend it. The room is huge and you have a large terrace. The breakfast is really good and can be served on the terrace as well. The staff speaks a very good English and are very helpful. This hotel would be a bit more expensive than other hotels that we did in Bangkok but it is definitely worth it. We hope to come back in Bangkok and stayed there. Thank you again for the Thailand flag :)"

Slow Villas and Spa: "Unique hideaway"

Review by: Jenni N | Source: Trip Advisor
"During my stay in Gili Air I was unfortunate with the weather. It was probably the biggest rain I've witnessed on this lovely little island but arriving to Slow villas made it all disappear. Receptionist welcomed me with a smile that almost brought out the sun again. The manager escorted me to my villa holding an umbrella for me. Got to love that. Villa was exquisite from top to bottom. Beautifully finished little details gave me ""wow"" moments throughout the whole stay. You could order almost everything you wanted from the reception so the remote location and bad weather wasn't an issue. And the breakfast....fantastic!! Many different options to choose from and everything served in a way that just makes you want to have breakfast for lunch and dinner as well. A perfect getaway. My favorite piece of paradise."

Manda De Laos: "A wonderful cultural dining experience"

Review by: Suzanne2303 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our tour guide, with our small group to celebrate her birthday. The ambience was perfect, the food very good and the service couldn't be faulted. A nice added touch was the small desert cake with candle for our guides birthday. The tablets are set around a UNESCO lotus pond."

Villa Song: "A fabulous escape from the city"

Review by: cakestin | Source: Trip Advisor
We moved to Saigon about three months ago and like to treat ourselves to a weekend in a hotel now and again. Staying in Villa Song felt like a real holiday and an escape from the city. We loved the peace and relaxation. The customer service and staff were excellent. The room was beautiful and we loved the pool area. Both mornings we were threre it was very quiet, despite the hotel being at full capacity. We ate at the restaurant the first night and enjoyed the food very much and the breakfast was great. The free boat back to the city was fun and a fantastic way to see the city from a different viewpoint, although I was loathed to get off the boat and head home! We will definitely return for another weekend getaway soon.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Home away from home"

Review by: jacquelinem449 | Source: Trip Advisor
"My 10the stay at this wonderful, simple and warm lodge. Staff are second to none, food is delicious, the views are simply stunning! Jhalak and Hari made us feel very welcome and spoilt us rotten! The rooms all have a view and are spread over the property in chalets. Morning tea is served there and used as a wake up call. No tv or telephones in room. This preserves the tranquil atmosphere."

Jing’s Residence: "Beautiful hotel in an ancient Chinese walled city"

Review by: Helen G | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.

Reverie Siam: "Exceeded high expectations"

Review by: Don C | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a gem of a hotel. An oasis in an oasis. Visually pleasing from the very first sighting. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from the small airport (no noise issue - there are only two flights a day at this airport!) and though one drives through some uninspiring immediate surroundings, once you enter the hotel, it is pleasing to all the senses. The garden and all the individual fittings reflect the detailed care and attention of the brother/sister/brother-in-law team. The food, which leans heavily towards Mediterranean is a match for any restaurant in Bangkok, the drinks are good value at 1/2 to 1/3 of equivalent Bangkok hotel price and the live music with alternating crooners are absolutely superb. Good pool and excellent care and attention by the entire staff. Easy lift in the hotel's Tuk tuk to the town's delights. Perfect."

Talabgaon Castle: "Very unique and relaxing"

Review by: Brad R | Source: Trip Advisor
"My family and I stayed at the castle for three nights and spent Christmas there this year. It was wonderful, and a great place to slow down in between more hectic Indian stops. We entirely enjoyed the brief camel wagon ride to a small and under-visited Indian village. A great stop in between crazy and hectic Jaipur. Breakfast on the terrace and dinner next to the fireplace on the cool December nights were charming. We even had a local music group perform for us on Christmas Eve. It will certainly be a highlight of our time in India. My son even tried the pool even as it was only 50° outside"

David’s Kitchen: "A great restaurant with excellent service"

Review by: udputri | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I wanted to have a break from the wonderful Thai dishes we’ve been enjoying throughout our trip, so we decided to book a table at David’s Kitchen. We ordered drinks and the set menu. Everything was on point. The cocktails were great, the pumpkin soup was silky and delicious, the beef bourguignon with the mashed potatoes was wonderful and the sticky toffee pudding was a sweet ending to our meal. The one thing that truly made the dinner excellent, however, was the fact that David and his wife were there to chat with their guests and really engage with all of us. This made my husband and me feel truly welcome at the restaurant. Thank you, David and the team. We surely will come back whenever we’re in Chiang Mai.
