Tugu Lombok: "Beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach"
We stayed four nights in a Bhaghavat Gita suite which we would certainly recommend. The suite has its own garden with a large plunge pool and then you're straight onto the wonderful white sand Sire beach. The suite also has a private front garden which includes the semi-outdoor bathroom. Our daughters stayed in a kampong bungalow directly beind our villa which was perfectly adequate and a lot cheaper! You can eat on the beach or in various other places around the site - we chose the roof of the Temple-like spa. Best to book these in advance - there is no where else to eat unless you drive for about 30 mins into Sengigi - we didn't bother as the food was good and varied, with both local and international dishes (mainly Italian). The restaurant is open-sided and overlooks the pool, which was never crowded (don't think all the rooms were full when we were there). We took the dragon boat trip to snorkel at the Gili Isles which was good fun, and we saw a turtle.THE SAMAR: "The Samar Villa & Spa Resort"
I highly recommend this delightful boutique hotel in Siem Reap. The staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. We received good advice with regard to visiting the historic sites from the General Manager Bertrand and arrangements were put in place to make it very easy for us to make the most of our time there yet we were still able to fully enjoy our stay. Situated near to Angkor Wat and the center of town yet peaceful and quiet within the bounds of the hotel. A clean and pleasant swimming pool. We were served a very generous breakfast. All the meals we ate at the Hotel were well presented and very tasty with dishes on the menu to suit all palates.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Great personalised service"
"What made our trip memorable was the personal touch by Noel Rodrigo's staff. Kudos especially to Dilanke for being a warm host. Although the Safari experience itself was not ""National Geographic channel"" standard (thankfully we managed to spot the elusive leopards), the sumptuous food and luxurious accommodation definitely made up for it. All in all, it is indeed worth the premium paid and we will strongly recommend going with Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris."Cuca: "Exceptional!"
"This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! Totally worth it!"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "The perfect break!"
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge provided the perfect break from the rush, noise and dust in city life in Nepal. From the moment you arrive the staff are attentive and provide helpful information in a non intrusive way. The rooms, each a cottage on its own, are spacious, comfortable and every need is catered for. Early morning views of the mountains are spectacular and visible from each of the rooms. The food is so good at each meal, individual needs having been taken into account, it is worth losing a bit of weight before staying there. A place to be returned to.Rachamankha: "Serene Refined Hotel"
"Ratchamankha, Chiang Mai, Thailand The photos posted by other travelers hardly do justice to this exquisite jewel box of a hotel. Our family of four was lucky enough to stay in one of the newly opened two-bedroom suites. A long, covered balcony, complete with a silk-cushioned bench, runs the length of the suite, providing a view to the serene courtyard and pool below. A spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated living room divides the two bedrooms. Breakfast is served around the corner in a separate courtyard. Heaven! In the evening, a fire is lit and on special nights a local musician plays traditional melodies. Asian antiques and art are displayed throughout the property. An army of workers tend the garden and the buildings, keeping everything in immaculate shape. Additionally, the owner employs many Burmese refugees, trains them, houses them, and pays them well. You can feel wonderful about supporting such a hotel. What a find!!!! "Villa Mathis: "A Trip to Paradise’"
What a fantastic holiday with my Mother and two sisters!! Fred and Fifi where the ultimate managers, dropping by for a chat each day. You don't get that at the big hotels! The staff where brilliant, and the rooms and gardens fabulous in this secret, private, quite boutique hotel. The Bali 'feel' was everywhere, with its beautiful architecture. Perfect for a romantic getaway or like us, a family get together.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "I am here as I write this"
I’ll keep it short and sweet. Just come here and don’t think twice. You will fall in love with this place. Wonderful ambience and superb food. The owner said they’ve been open only for 10 months. There is no surprise why they’re number 1 in Yangon in such a short period of time. It’s wonderful.Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent Local Cuisine"
Great restaurant offering local cuisine in a comfortable & stylish environment. Easy walk from several hotels. We arrived without a reservation & a table was quickly found for us despite it being busy. The service was good & fairly prompt. The menu has a nice variety of meat, fish & veg options. A great choice & good evening.Reverie Siam: "Simply outstanding"
This place is a hidden pearl worth the long way of 762 curves on route from Chiangmai and we simply loved it so much that we didn't want to leave. Great atmosphere, service, stylish rooms and gardens as well as one of the best places for yoga in the early morning. The food is a innovative mix of tradition and experiments with new ideas, most of it really worth trying. Definitely one of the best cappuccinos in Thailand. We also liked a lot the concept for breakfast that you order a la carte. Things for improvement - bathrooms could do with a little more privacy and water saving. Overall it's a place to come back to.
