MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Perfect romantic/family getaway"
"My wife and I stayed in MesaStila for 4 nights at the end of October, the occasion being our babymoon (last holiday before the baby is born). From start to finish our experience was wonderful and relaxing. Firstly the level of service from all staff at the resort (drivers, waiters, reception, spa) was exemplary. My wife had a couple of (minor) health issues during our stay, the staff were accommodating and helpful and coordinated (i.e. our driver had been told in advance to help us pick up medication after our visit to Borobodur). The location may be the primary draw for most first time visitors and they will not be disappointed. The old colonial resort is charming, set amidst a coffee plantation and ringed by volcanoes. The greenery gives way to new shades of green, wave after wave of lush vegetation. I found it simply stunning. Activities are many and will suit all sorts. I did some very tough road biking in the area, hitting a couple of almost 20% gradients, fortunately giving way to breathtaking views and awesome descents. My wife relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the spa. We both were amazed by the temple of Borobodur and were fortunate to witness a stunning sunrise. The restaurant is also very good, serving a wide variety of Indonesian and European cuisine and was enough to keep us well satisfied throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed our stay and have thoroughly recommended the resort to many friends. We are already looking forward to coming back (again and again!)."Heritage Suites Hotel: "Incredible genuineness, a real gem!"
The Heritage came up in almost list of top boutique hotels to stay at in Cambodia, so I knew it would be a good choice. Getting picked up at the airport in a vintage Mercedes was amazing, such a great way to start off the experience. Having the adventure company in the hotel helped a lot, they organised 3 customised tours for me which were all equally amazing. All three were well worth it. I stayed in the Orchid suite, which I could of hid in during my entire stay and would of been really happy, the steam room was a pleasant surprise. Had breakfast and two dinners at the hotel which was also very good. The thing that left such an impression on me was the staff. There was this incredible genuineness to everyone I met. The hotel supports Sala Baï, a hospitality school for young underprivileged Cambodians, which they also helped organise a visit to. Heritage helps train and hire students from the school and offers them placement at the hotel, with everyone I met there, especially the students coming from Sala Bai, there was this genuine pride in working in hospitality and at the Heritage. As a guest you felt not only very welcomed, but that you also contributed to giving back to the community and not just taking from it. Kudos to the entire team at Heritage. I work in travel and hospitality and can honestly say this is one of the most unique and best offerings I’ve come across. I can’t wait to visit again.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing safari"
We stayed at Noel's Safari for two nights in a family tent (2 adults and 2 kids) and had a great time. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and were absolute experts when it came to the animals and their habitat. We saw so many amazing wild animals and learned so many things about them. Back at the camp, the food was absolutely phenomenal - so delicious and an amazing array of dishes. We all had a fantastic time and would recommend this to any animal lover!!!Rachamankha: "Beautiful hotel"
Aesthetically pleasing hotel with beautiful furniture and good location. Clean and old Thai style rooms, with a deco touch. My only complaint would be the staff attitude was a bit off occasionally. Also the bar the first night said they could serve us but we couldn't drink there, so we sat by the pool with the mozzies. The second night we came back for a night cap a little earlier than the first night and the bar was again closed at 10. I saw a few couples on both occasions wandering around obviously looking to have a drink and chill before bed.Talabgaon Castle: "Enjoyable Stay"
The fantastic property nestled in the interiors of Rajasthan is a unique and interesting proposition. I truly enjoyed my stay was very well looked after. The heritage room was fabulous with all the amenities and the bathroom is of great quality. The food was of good quality and the personal involvement of the owners is quite apparent in the overall detailing. The staff is always ready to please. You could stay and be totally disconnected from the outside world and have a refreshing holiday.Tugu Malang: "Great Service"
We just spent one night here but we were able even to enjoy the Afternoon Tea. Hotel situated not far away from Railway Station and staff came over to pick us up. Front Desk very helpful. Rooms were nice but nothing spectacular. Nice Swimming pool. Great and very ample breakfast. Service was the highlight here. No doubt.Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic"
We loved our 2 night stay at Villa Song. Room was extremely spacious with balcony. A major positive was the location next to the Saigon River - great location and only a short boat trip to the city centre. The boat ride on the river was in itself very enjoyable. Had an excellent massage at the spa. Without asking, we had a room made available through to our evening flight. Can recommend dining nearby at the Deck. The Cabochon Hotel: "Colonial, Bygone Dreaminess"
This hotel has a perfect old-world charm, located right in the thick of trendy Thong Lo. It's a minute walk to the BTS, but you can't hear any of the crazy noise of Bangkok, because the hotel is down a small soi. It has a rooftop pool with full sun (often tough to find in Asia, where locals don't like to tan) and a very friendly, English-fluent staff. The rooms are large, and we had a connected suite living room + kitchen that we shared with a few other guests. Loved it and would definitely stay again.Locavore: "A must try journey for your taste bud"
OMG!!!!! No words to describe this resturant... the only resturant in Indonesia to be in top 50 Asian resturant.. enough said.. word of warning dinner reservation at least 1 month in advance... but the experience on ur taste buds... so totally worth it.. only set course available.... extremely friendly staff, top notch service.. as an Indonesian, so proud of them :) :) keep it up :)Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise for our family vacation in Thailand"
"We stayed at the Golden Buddha in April for 3 nights and my only regret is we weren't there for our entire 2 week vacation. In planning our trip I was non-committal to any one place concerned we would be stuck somewhere that didn't turn out as we expected, but had I only known. Our family of 5, kids aged 13, 11 and 9, stayed in the Baan Lucy which was beachfront and the perfect distance to the clubhouse and the bay. The house was lovely but when we come back, which we are definitely doing, I may look at one of the larger houses that had a bit more sitting/lounging area. We loved staying on the beach with the sunset and the breeze, but the back houses looked lovely as well. The arrival is something our family will never forget. Golden Buddha is not easy to get to and after a 3 hour drive from Phuket and a 90 minute ride on a pretty rough long tail, we pulled into paradise. The bay is great for kids of all ages as well as the grown ups. Pizza bar, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, swimming. It is a great way to spend the day. The beach is also beautiful and swimming is very nice- soft soft sand and great shelling. The food is over the top- very local and authentic but also sophisticated. There are a ton of families at the resort, for good reason, but could possibly be overwhelming for a couple on their honeymoon, although the clubhouse has an upstairs that was more dedicated to adults. Really a top notch resort in an unbelievable location. Almost hate sharing as it seems like a hidden gem in Thailand. Such a great experience after spending time in Bangkok, Railay Beach and Phuket. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"
