Sanak Retreat Bali: "Luxus inmitten von Reisfeldern"

Review by: flightdeck737 | Source: Trip Advisor

Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotel I have stayed at"

Review by: Sarah K | Source: Trip Advisor
"I know that sounds like a big wrap but this was a seriously good experience. The hotel is a refurbished mansion (or facsimile of), it's right on the river and has all the charm of old Saigon. The staff are delightful. We were welcomed with a fresh watermelon juice and a smile. We stayed for four nights and had a river view room on the top floor. There are no lifts so if you are not good with stairs make sure you request a lower floor. The room was well appointed to a luxury standard with wide wooden floor boards, a king sized bed and a spacious bathroom. The mini-bar is complementary and there is free wifi. I really appreciated both these features. The pool is about 25 metres and surrounded by comfortable loungers. There is a small gym (but I found it a bit hot for working out). Breakfast everyday is also included and there is a wide selection of European and Vietnamese options to choose from. The staff always greeted you warmly and were very helpful. Villa Song is in District 2 and some way out of the main tourism precinct (District 1) however they provide a free ferry service which takes about 20 minutes several times a day to and from the city centre. It is a terrific way to enjoy the city and means you get to sleep at night! District 1 is so busy all the time it is nice to get away from it and chill near the pool or in the bar. We tried the restaurant for dinner as well and it has a pleasant fusian menu to choose from. There is a spa downstairs which has the usual array of treatments. We had the aromatherapy massage which was very good and set us up nicely for the week. You can book any of the popular tours and they will charge it to your room making organisation a breeze. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. You really do feel at home away from home and that is mostly because of the charming service. We would definitely stay here again."

Talabgaon Castle: "Unreal Experience"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I recently visited this resort on our trip from San Francisco and could not have been happier with our stay. It is a beautiful property and the staff could not have been more hospitable. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was fantastic. We stopped here for a night in between Agra and Jaipur. It is in the countryside so it is a very tranquil and peaceful setting when compared to the city. We were treated like royalty at this 200+ year old castle that was recently restored to this beautiful resort. The resort sits on 100 acres with expansive lawns, a pool, gardens, and a polo field. It is a perfect place to spend a night or two to unwind and get way from the hustle and bustle of India. 5+ stars across the board. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

The Island Lodge: "Another blissful stay with attention to details"

Review by: Arnaud R | Source: Trip Advisor
Resident of nearby Saigon, we came back to island lodge one year after our first discovery. Staff is still ever smiling and full of little attentions. Menu offers variety and treats. Bike tour dropped from the boat offers the best point of view on rural Mekong delta (we took the longer Fish farm tour this time after the Cocoa tour last year). And great addition to have this year a full 9km jogging loop in the village pathways on the island. All in all a great stay just 2h drive from Saigon.

The River Resort: "Fabulous location – charming hotel"

Review by: Peter B | Source: Trip Advisor
Great location, right on the side of the Mekong with two inifnity pools. Charming staff, lovely well-appointed rooms, not really much more to say. REstaurant probably a little pricey, but not unreasonably so for a western class resort..

Slow Villas and Spa: "Fantastic place, lovely staff"

Review by: Ryan G | Source: Trip Advisor
"My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at Slow. Location: It's a 10-15 min walk from the harbour and all flat. Once there, the west coast beaches are a 5 min walk, with some really great restaurants/bars on the quieter North West on the island. Staff: Always lovely, polite and helpful. They booked everything we needed, transport to and from the island, snorkelling day trips and SUP experiences. Accommodation: Stunning villas, great bed. Enjoyed the outdoor shower/bathroom. No bar or restaurant at Slow, but there are loads all over the island and I am not a fan of spending all day inside your own resort."

Satri House: "Wonderful hotel"

Review by: Aubrey P | Source: Trip Advisor
This is wonderful hotel. We very enjoyed our 3 nights stay here. The scenery around the hotel is like in paradise with lovely garden and a swimming pool. The room is huge with traditional decoration and well equipped. Staff is amazing friendly and helpful

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "If I could give 6 stars i would"

Review by: Stevan H | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had heard that the Swiss owners of this restaurant, with their Michelin star history had created something special, but this was beyond our high expectations. The setting is romantic and set off on a beautiful lake. The building was redone to hip minimalist beautiful décor. The food was out of this world. Service was impeccable. The owners have even sought out hard to find wines and serve at reasonable prices to fit any budget. The restaurant is not cheap for Myanmar standards, but a third of the price you would pay in Europe or the U.S. for food that is in a word...memorable. The chef and his lovely wife both came to the table and their watchful eye was on every detail. Although Michelin tends to be giving stars for micro-cuisine, this is a finer restaurant than most multi-Michelin star restaurants that we have frequented. You know, that feeling that each course is perfect and you don't want it to end. The only thing sad about this review, is being in Yangon we can't just go back there next week!!! This is a restaurant that you will use as a standard by which to compare others."

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Luxurious Cabochon Hotel"

Review by: 595katerinak | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and I stayed at the Cabochon Hotel for a week and we enjoyed every moment. The hotel itself is beautiful - well appointed guest rooms with a lot of space, a soft bed, and a living room you can move around in. The hotel is wonderfully filled with curiosities, mementos and art that delighted us at every turn. We made use of the fabulous library, happy hour cocktails, the lounge area, the restaurant, and the roof top pool. All were exemplary. But the most special mention must go to the staff. Each and every person we had the pleasure to talk with was helpful, polite, courteous and went out of their way to assist us. The Cabochon is a special hotel. If you want to be in the heart of Bangkok, but in a quiet street close to excellent shops, restaurants and the BTS, and you are looking for a luxurious, relaxed and quiet stay, then this is the place for you. We recommended this boutique hotel and are already planning our return trip. Special added mention to the Quince restaurant on the same street and the Thann day spa one street over."

Reverie Siam: "THE place to stay and dine in PAI"

Review by: PHWalker | Source: Trip Advisor
"Sublime comes to mind. I have stayed here before, I have dined here before and I will again, I almost don't wnt to share this good news with you all as it is getting harder and harder to book but well it's a place that has to be shared. From the family that designed, built and manage Reverie to the team the take care of you they really cannot do enough to share their home with you...and what a home. There can no better place to be than sat in their bar and restaurant, enjoying a long cool drink looking out across green fields to the river and mountains beyond and slipping into Pai time...truly a place for reverie. I joined a dinner party by the river here too, 40 of us, a demanding crowd no doubt but faultless service. Delightful setting, great food (you have to try their tapas) and a superb musician to accompany dinner - guitar and keyboard player, brilliant...actually Pai has quite a lively music scene, even one of the owners at Reverie is a drummer with a local band."
