Locavore: "Amazing lunch"

we really enjoyed the lunch. So amazing. And the service also great too. Wanna go again for dinner. It's so hard to book the time.

David’s Kitchen: "More than fine dining.. it was an unforgettable experience"

"To start, I NEVER write reviews.. but David, his staff, and the entire experience altogether surpassed our expectations! We were running thirty minutes late because of the taxi.. not even knowing if our reservation was still held (we didn’t bother getting SIM cards so we weren’t able to call.) As we arrived, we were personally greeted by David, himself! The conversation was far from your typical owner/manager greeting. He shared life stories, genuinely asked about our trip, and even gave us recommendations for the following city we were visiting. This, alone, was enough for us to come back if we were ever in the city again. The table was beautifully set with rose petals and a birthday greeting card. David’s “favorite” table definitely served its justice. I definitely felt special, as there were about four other birthdays that same night. The food was PHENOMENAL and boy, did we order a bunch of food/wine! Surf and turf is to die for!! As for the service, we were catered to like kings and queens. We aren’t very needy people at restaurants but let me tell you... one glance up and the waitress was ready to hurry over to our table! As I reread this paragraph, I realized that words really cannot justify to our exceptional experience. By far the best experience I had with ANY company that I’ve been a customer to. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you, David and staff!"

Rachamankha: "It felt like a dream"

"This hotel is unreal. You will feel like you are in the movie, The best Marigold hotel. Very quite and calm(no offense to kids and parents, but thanks to their no kids policy) serene. Staffs were soooo nice. Their English was short but they tried their best. Location is perfect. Short walk to temples, street food, and sunday market(Must go!!!-food, music and everything is there, it's huge!!) You will get lost because every street looks the same and similar temples are every corner. We got lost so many times but just take tuk tuk back to your hotel. (I recommend writing down hotel addresss in thai since most drivers dont understand English. Room is beautiful, not 5 star hotel way, but more authentic kind of way which I love. The best part that made me almost cry? We had to leave hotel at 4am to catch our super early flight, they prepared us little bag of sandwiches, fruit, cracker, yogurt and soy milk. We arrived at the airport, nothing was opened, I had the sandwich which was made with love. Almost tasted like what mom makes for the kids. With a lot of love. Almost made me cry. I love love this hotel sooooo much. I will be back very soon."

Flower Island: "Relaxing in paradise!"

"Staying here was like being in paradise- your own tropical heaven away from everything. There's some incredible coral reef around which makes for some excellent snorkelling: we saw turtles on a number of occasions as well as a plethora of tropical fish. They also have some giant clams in the coral right in front of the beach. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and on one day took us to a pearl farm. I highly recommend a visit to the pearl farm - it's so fascinating to see this industry at work (not to mention more amazing snorkelling opportunities along the way!) (...) You can also hike up to the light house (around 10-15 mins) to get some lovely 360 degrees views. And there is a stone path going around the island for running: a complete cycle is around 1.7km, so 3 rounds, we did 5.5km ish. Oh - and did I mention those stunning sunsets...?"

Reverie Siam: "Just gorgeous"

My husband and I stayed here for six nights for our honeymoon. The garden and hotel grounds are gorgeous, the villa was incredibly comfortable, quiet and luxurious, and the service was outstanding. The food and drinks at the restaurant were also excellent. It was so good we cancelled our next venue and stayed for extra nights! It is a little out of town but there is a free shuttle into and out of town on demand which only takes five minutes. Will be coming back!

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Unbelievable"

Wow just got back from week long stay at this resort .We stayed in See blue 2 it was amazing we slept with the doors open and just the sound of the serf crashing along the beach .We stayed in early November and were one of only thirteen people staying it was fantastic .Don't bother taking your nice shoes as no one where's shoes at dinner you leave them outside we spent the week barefoot .My husband booked the yoga with Alex and loved every minute of it .The restaurant served good food with a new menu everyday the fish was to die for and incredibly reasonable. Definitely do the beach BBQ it was good fun , food was fabulous.There are a good selection of wines and my husband tells me good beer. The owners three dogs were a source of good entertainment as was the monkeys Brenen is incredibly helpful with the wildlife and the trips are well worth taking if you can get of the sun bed .Everybody at Golden Budha is so helpful nothing is to much trouble .Thank you

Sukoon Houseboat: "best house boad"

"After many places we zeroed down to Sukoon and we knew it would be great. We booked Suite and it surpassed our expectations. They pick up from gate and drop you a house boat , check in was fast and staff was very courteous, Humble and polite. We offered Kawa on sunny breezy evening Rooms were Big, Spacious and had good view. Good comfortable Beds and Heaters. The washroom are the best from houseboats perspective. Its loaded with excellent quality toiletries, bathtub, shower panel etc. "

MesaStila: "one of the best"

I have traveled extensively all over the world and this is probably one of the most amazing 'hotels' ever. Each room is it's own private house, a house that was bought somewhere in Java and moved to the property and then carefully renovated and modernized. Amazing. Property is just beautiful and the pool and spa area perfect. Nice touches like free afternoon tea with enough food that one has to think about not eating too much. People so nice and courteous.

Bassac Mekong Delta Cruises by Secret Retreats: "Excellent overnight cruise"

I agree with all the other reviews that rate this highly. Annie was our guide too (on Bassac III, the biggest of their 3 boats, sleeping a maximum of 24). Annie was a lovely guide with extremely good English. Even though she was a last minute substitute for another guide who had been taken ill, and she had been working herself and was expecting to go and visit her mother, she was gracious, enthusiastic and helpful. I didn't get up to see the sunrise but I loved the visit to the floating market and the peacefulness and beauty of the smaller canal we went along.

Tugu Malang: "Flawless and one of a kind."

"Tugu is absolutely soaked in colonial era charm. It comes through in the way they support you throughout the visit. It's in the architecture and extensive art collection. It's all through the menu in the restaurant. It's in the amazing choices of furniture and design. We were given the exact suite we asked for. The tub was beautiful and nicely proportioned. The linens are really comfortable, and high-slung bed is interesting. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the hotel, because it was just that nice. (...) By all means, stay at the Tugu and really explore the place. It's got all kinds of interesting nooks and crannies. Check out Mount Bromo too - and bring your warmest clothes... it's really chilly up there in the morning. Tugu has fast internet, which is good too! Of all the great things which could be said about the hotel -- it really is the wonderful people that make the place great. Friendly and genuine."
