Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Feel like home place"
"We staid for 2 nights at Maisons Wat Kor with our family and friends and everyone loved their stay. Rooms are good size, very tastefully decorated and clean, the garden is really big and relaxing to walk around. There is a connecting room for families with the kids! The kids loved the pool and little bungalow overlooking lotus pond where they could relax and play. The staff were always helpful and organized trips to town if we wished to do so. Though it was nice just to hang around the place. We also had Spa treatments on request. The restaurant is also a lovely place to eat in the evening. We enjoyed local cuisine and had nice evenings together. The breakfast are included and are also very good. Highly recommended for family trips, romantic stay or just relaxing weekend with friends "Villa Song Saigon: "A lovely experience"
We are 2 couples who live different sides of the world. This hotel was a perfect place to meet. After long haul flights, start a holiday with a slow pace relaxing by the pool or in the beautiful river side garden. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is delicious and served any time you like is a nice touch. This hotel is less suited to people who want to stay at the heart of the action.David’s Kitchen: "The Highlight of our Chiang Mai Visit, Excelled Expectations"
We recently visited Thailand and Singapore for 18 days and this wonderful dinner definitely makes it into our top 3 best restaurant experiences. Firstly the venue is a delight and the elegant and contemporary decor was refined and impressed us greatly. Although the three course meal was exceptional as you would expect, it was the wonderful ambience and vibe of the place that so impressed us, as well as the attention to detail. There was a welcome card on our table (which we were permitted to keep) and from the first moment of greeting the wait staff were impressive and so welcoming, showing an interest in us and our travels. The pianist in the background was first class and really added an element of romance. Perhaps the highlight was meeting David Gordon himself. He was incredibly friendly and down to earth, and gave us the time of day which really resonated with us. He even consented to us taking a photograph together. At the conclusion of the meal I was presented with a beautiful red rose and we were sent out by David and his wife. A DK car was on hand to take us back to the hotel, which was also a welcome and special touch. If you're wondering about the food, the pumpkin soup was perhaps the best I've ever had Simply executed and divine flavour. We both enjoyed the signature beef cheeks, and we had to make room for dessert. I can say if you're after an experience where you feel special and valued, and want to be comfortable and pampered DK is the place to go. We have been to many hatted restaurants in Australia, and we think we are qualified to give David and his team 5 stars. If we're ever back again, this will be our first stop.MesaStila: "Amazing"
"Thank you MesaStila for a fantastic weekend at your resort. I was very impressed by the kindness of your staff. They new exactly who we were when we came. So helpful and smiling all of them. The resort is very pretty and kept in old traditional style all around. And So peaceful and quiet. The rooms are big and cosy. The garden is very nice and nice coffee plantation tour. Spa is also really good. Wow! I definitely come back! "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing and 100% natural environment"
Resort is located at the river, you can feel the movement of the stream. As it is surrounded by forest, you can enjoy sound of birds/insects/other animals. Service is excellent, staff is nice and helpful. Luz,the resort manager, introduces all facilities in the resort in very clear way. You can ask her any questions about the resort and she will kindly answer you all. There are no air-cons in the whole resort ,Fans are provided in the lodges and there is breeze,so you will feel very comfortable without any hot feelings. Food provided is mainly western style, taste is ok. Atmosphere of the restaurant is nice , guitar songs(recorded) are played in the restaurant area. You can enjoy swimming, fishing and canoeing in the resort. There are several tours provided in the resort e.g. Tatai waterfall, sunset tour etc. I have chosen trekking in Cardamom mountains areas. It will cost you around 8hrs but you can explore in a rain forest. If you are lucky, you can meet some wildlife during the tour. WiFi is not provided by the resort during my stay,so I have bought a 4G data card by myself in airport , it is from metphone(ISP), signal is downgraded to 2G in the resort area , but it is already enough for whatspp, skype and email. Luz said WiFi will be provided by resort very soon.Satri House: "Fantastic hotel, wonderful location"
We loved everything about this place, from the welcoming, helpful staff to the beautifully decorated interior, to the tranquil setting, the relaxing bar, the clean and well serviced rooms, the delicious breakfasts, the appetizing snacks left in the room mid-afternoon - we didn't want to leave! The Twelve Hotel: "Très bonne étape"
"Très bon accueil et très bel établissement! Rafraîchissement à l'arrivée, gentillesse et disponibilité en sus! Petit déjeuner extra (baguette, confiture de fruits de la passion et jolie salle) Enjoy"Tugu Bali: "excellent boutique hotel"
"This hotel is exceptional; excellent service, very responsive staff. I informed the staff about my plans of the day; and they accommodated us and even anticipated our needs; the staff is very responsive. Breakfast is excellent, pool is nice and private. The common grounds are exotic All rooms with ocean view ( second floor) have a spiral staircase to enter. The patio ( balcony?) is large, but no A/C( thus a little warm in March) you are asked to close the windows in order to avoid the wildlife. Lovely garden, lotus pond; very very nice experience. My only caveat is that this great hotel is now surrounded by a recent development of bars catering to the young surfers. The music can be a little loud until the wee hours ( 3-4 AM). Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "Paradise in Old City, Chiangmai"
A surprise paradise tucked on side street close to Temples and entrance to Sunday Market. Peaceful, elegant atmosphere. Top notch service - especially in restaurant. Dinner was terrific. Breakfast: loved the almond French toast!Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Charming Boutique Hotel"
Stayed a couple of nights at Cabochon and envoyer our stay there. The hotel is very well designed in a colonial style and they have put every efforts to go into details. The breakfast was very nice, the top roof pool excellent and the staff awesome! I would have just not put so many stuffed animals (was very disappointed to see sea turtles for instance).
