Tugu Bali: "A new favorite hotel"
Stayed here in a Rejang suite for four nights and loved every minute. This hotel is the pinnacle of Indonesian beauty, design and hospitality. All the furniture is antique yet comfortable, and there is a mysticism when entering the rooms. Echo Beach is right off the back of the hotel - a beautiful spot to relax, read, swim, watch surfers. I also appreciated that the hotel fumigates the rooms twice a week to help with the mosquitoes. :) Canggu is a great town to stay in if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It's away from the crowds further south but has more than enough life, shops, restaurants, etc. Borrowed a bike one day to explore the surrounding villages and rice patties. Stayed here on a friend's recommendation and would definitely return.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Fantastic!"
"We had a wonderful time at the resort. Beautiful setting, gorgeous views, excellent service and delicious food every day. Best place for relaxing including great Ayurveda treatments. Highly recommendable! Hermann&Monika Neumann"Reverie Siam: "Antiques! Truly amazing"
Stayed here one night with my friend and we did enjoy much! A little bit expensive but it pays back a great experience.i love those decorations, antiques! It's hard to find old machines as of these days, if you wish to feel like travel back time, visit this hotel! I love our huge rooms just open your door and jump in to the pool! Thanks for the birthday present! Foods is fabulous, restaurant is very romantic for couples! Very serene and quite place. If you love nature here in Asia this is the best. And oh! There is a gazebo located into the river bank! I love it!MesaStila: "A peaceful sanctuary"
"MesaStila Resort and Spa is very serene and quiet; it is lovely for a getaway to do some writing, reading and relaxing. Our room (Aroum Villa) also had an outdoor day bed area which had the view of Mt Andong which was terrific. The room came with a bath tub which was nice to soak in and just while the time away. The room also had all the necessary amenities to make it a comfortable stay. The staff also made our bed and refilled the water twice a day. We also had complimentary fruits, and desserts in the evening. I would definitely recommend this to friends who are intending to have a short getaway, and I must say the staff at the resort made the stay very comfortable; they were attentive to our needs, and made us feel at home. We had a cycling trip to Candi Umbul and Grabag market, and our guide Nur made the experience very worthwhile. We also had a Sunrise tour at Borobodur and it was breathtaking. The tour guide, Latiff, provided many insights into the culture and philosophy of the Buddhists, and shared information about Indonesia as well. My friend and I didn't manage to try the Hammond spa (which was award-winning) and we would love to do so when we next visit MesaStila. One minor quip I had was how the menu was the same for the 4 days we were there; if there could be more variety, it would have made the resort experience perfect. My friend and I particularly liked the Indonesia dishes (at dinner) and the breakfast menu - A recommended dish would be the Nasi Goreng (fried rice). You can choose either red or white rice for the said dish, and we had the red rice option; I must say, it was a pleasant surprise! I particularly liked the muesli at breakfast - the breakfast was hearty and kept us filled for the day. I can go on about how lovely our experience at MesaStila was, but I'm afraid my words would not do justice to it; you would just have to experience it. They have thought out activities to keep their guests occupied (as the resort is situated rather far away from the city area) and have gone the extra mile to make the experience unforgettable for their guests. Lastly, I would recommend having tea at the Club House; it is calming and relaxing and the pastries went well with their wide selection of teas (and coffee). I truly had a reinvigorating time at the resort; I invite you to experience the same."tugu lombok: "One of best hotels in lombok"
"It's nice to see all top 3 hotels in lombok are actually within 10 m drive from each other . All situated on sire beach or beautiful Medana . The tugu is great ! Sharon the new GM is nice and always around . Staff is great here . Grounds amazing and large "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A pleasant returned stay"
I stayed in this hotel before and this time I am returning with bigger group of friends. The staff handled our reservations with full attention and all details have been taken care. We were extremely surprised as one of the rooms was upgraded for our better comfort.Heritage Suites Hotel: "Perfect Location and Stunning Boutique Hotel!"
"On arrival, there are two lovely old vintage cars parked in the drive of this authentic hotel, which is located far enough away from the tourist part of town, but near enough to everything you need! We had a bungalow suite which is really large and not only has a nice comfortable bed with good pillows and linens, but there is a large bath with petals if one wants, plus a large walk in shower, and also a sauna on the other side! There is a separate toilet off the lounge area, and a garden area outside, so that you have everything you need! The swimming pool is really nice and we spent a very pleasant afternoon there. There is a fabulous restaurant called Marum, which is a training restaurant just at the bottom of the road, where we had a great meal, and there are also some good laundries nearby within walking distance. The service at the hotel is really good, everyone is extremely nice and helpful. My only negative comment is that we would have preferred a larger breakfast menu, as you have to order and is not a buffet, so limited options. Also, we were given a free 15 min massage each, which is very nice gesture, but when my husband, who didn’t want his, asked to give it to me so I could have 30 mins, they couldn’t do this as wasn’t policy! Notwithstanding that, I had a lovely relaxing massage. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap, as you really get the feel for the area, better than staying in one of the large chain hotels which were all very near the airport, on one long stretch of road. We also ate at Maris restaurant, and were lucky to get a reservation at Cuisine Wat Damnak, the best restaurant there! But you must book from the UK for that one. All in all, a great choice of hotel, we could get a Tuk tuk easily into town, and a visit to the night market and the old quarter is well worthwhile, in fact get the tuk tuk to give you a tour around town for $5, is great fun!"Rachamankha: "Impressed"
Stayed here for our honeymoon and wow was it a great choice! The pool is stunning and the grounds are something super special. You feel like royalty here. The staff wants nothing more than to help and please you and do such a great job of making your stay lovely! They gave us fee champagne upon arrival and the manager was so lovely. Airport pickup with them went swimmingly and the breakfast was five star every morning! Couldn't be more full never ending amount of food offered! Room service was a delight as well. Only thing I would say is stay away from the burger and the dinner at the restaurant both were below average. Other than that everything was five star perfection! Will never forget this place!!The Village House: "Tranquil"
"If you're looking for bright lights, loud music and alcohol till dawn forget the Village House!!!. If on the other hand you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place. We spent 3 days here and it was amazing. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Rooms kept spotless and food very very good. Yes its off the beaten track and the beach is different, not that good for swimming and very hot with no shade, but once back in the Village jump in the pool...problem solved!!!! Would we stay here again....most definitely. Thanks to all concerned for making out stay a good one. Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the pool."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heaven by the beach"
"Mr Jayan K.V. and his amazing team at this haven by the beach in Kerala gave us the most relaxing stay, even with 3 teenage sons. The service is impeccable, while the vibe is laid back at this gorgeous resort, the service could not be better, including the staff on the Lotus Houseboat. The ayurvedic treatments are a must, we hadn't gone with treatments in mind but had 1 every day. The free yoga sessions are taught by a master. If you feel wound up or run down, as we were after lengthy travels round India...this place is the cure. Room Tip: Choose 1 of the ocea view bungalows"
