SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Superb dining in lovely location with tastefully decorated restaurant."

Review by: lynn s | Source: Trip Advisor
We wanted to have a memorable meal on our last night after three years in Yangon, we were not disappointed. As soon as you arrive you enjoy the calm and sophistocated atmosphere, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with the table ware items in gold and whire all made in Myanmar, just wish i could find out where. The service is pleasantly attentive without being intrusive, the food is devine we opted for a set menu which was presented well and tasted fantastic. The garden owner chef and his wife add a personal touch and speak to every guest, they are charming hosts. Superb restaurant for fine and friendly fine dining. We were able to enjoy the garden and lake view it will be superb in the dry season.

Definitely a honey moon destination if you are visiting Angkor wat and stay in siem reap!!! The food was extremely tasty and well presented. I even had the chef coming at my table asking how it is going!!! I highly recommend it!!

Reverie Siam: "Little Thai Venice"

Very nice place - Little Thai Venice. We have a beautiful relax day in our trip from Chiang Mai. Fantastic breakfast. Nice bar near the river. Beautiful view of the big white Budha statue and the mountain.

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Deserves it’s great reputation"

Review by: Doc_au | Source: Trip Advisor
"Lovely decor, lovely building, excellent staff, convenient quiet location, great breakfasts. Don't use Mr Noi Monyoopanow as your limousine driver. He chain talked to a variety of women using several phones for the whole trip to Hua Hin, often driving fast one handed. Front office and all staff were extremely helpful, and fantastic. Great breakfast. In retrospect we should have had dinner here, rather than a very underwhelming expensive meal at Nahm (which I wouldn't recommend - see separate review). Would suggest that each room have it's own iron and ironing board, although this was quickly provided. We also asked that our room be sprayed against mosquitoes after we left in the evening, although we had no problem with mosquitoes, just noticed loosely fitting balcony doors. Pool area was nothing special, but adequate, and we certainly enjoyed a quick dip in the pool at the end a day out, before getting ready for dinner. Would highly recommend, and we hope to stay again when next in BKK."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Simply wonderful"

Review by: Lauraanjali | Source: Trip Advior
"Wonderful place highly recommend it . We spent New Year's Eve here and it was fantastic . Inle Heritage has only 6 rooms which makes it very cosy and exclusive . The whole structure is built on stilts on the southern side of the lake. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is made in traditional style with good space for clothing . Every room stands alone with great privacy and a terrace with sunbeds overlooking the lake . So peaceful and truly special . Inle Heritage is not just a guest house is also the training grounds for 48 local students which attend hospitality classes on site everyday , however you wouldn't even realise that if not told as they are organically blending with the place daily activities. By staying here you contribute to their tuition fees as 60 % is reinvested in the community and different programs that run onsite . One other beautiful touch is the vegetable gardens that are grown onsite and everything you eat is freshly picked from there daily . Inle Heritage also runs a reintegration program of the Burmese cats, as they were apparently disappearing from their original land . There is a section , like a small island , that completely dedicated to the cats . I find it quite cute , but I am a cat lover , otherwise could come across a little random if you would ask my boyfriend instead:))) On site there is a shop which sells most products you will find around on your artisan village visits , I think quality here was better and even cheaper than in the small artisan shops . Few notes on the place : dress warm as in the morning and evenings gets very chilly ( December / January i was there ) Take into account around 20$ for each transfer from and to the hotel as is surrounded by water so you need to take a boat ( which is a nice experience on its own) to get anywhere Highly recommend the sunset on the lake The staff is magnificent and the level of service was comparable to European standards , food also fantastic they even catered for me being a vegetarian adapting all menus; the warmth and attentiveness of the people here do make it a truly unforgettable experience . Hope to be back one day and wish you an amazing stay Stayed January 2017"

MesaStila: "I Love This Resort"

Review by: Toru S | Source: Trip Advisor
"I had a wonderful time at this hidden jem of Indonesia. This Central java's coffee-plantation-turned-resort is so lovely. I just loved every minute I spent there and hated the moment I had to leave the resort. Villa was nicely done in Javanese style, food was good (serving tended to be on a slow side, though - may be suitable for a leisurely resort time?), service was responsive, attentive and nicely done, the place was kept very neat and clean. The place with 22 hectare coffee plantation is something must see. I learned a lot about my favorite drink called coffee here. Thank you for all the service that made my stay wonderful. Keep at it!"

The Village House: "Gorgeous Boutique Hotel"

Review by: Celine F | Source: tripadvisor.com
This is the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It's an easy 40 min drive from Kuching, and it's incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It's a simple hotel but a lot of care and love has gone into its set up and decoration, and it was full of beautiful artwork from local artists. The rooms were lovely (we stayed in the Raj room), the food was delicious and the service wonderful and attentive.

muang la: "So glad we chose to stay here"

Review by: Gordon C | Source: tripadvison.com
"When we were looking for a place to get away from the standard visitor locations in South east Asia, this resort was proposed as an option. One of the best decisions we made on the holiday. It takes some effort to get there but it really is worth it. It is such a tranquil location, by the river with great settings for meals, the pool on the island. The rooms are excellent and the service from the staff first rate. They truly aim to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Language is a barrier at times but we were more than ok with this as given it's location this type of resort must, as it does, put a lot back to the community. The food was of a high standard and the 5 course tasting menu for dinner really suited us. High quality food and allowing you to try dishes we wouldn't normally try. What probably added the extra touch for us though were the day trip options provided. If you enjoy walking and want to see how village life in this part of Laos is, then this is perfect. With a local guide we learned so much about the culture and were able to very naturally engage with people in the villages. Relaxing in the resort after each day made for a great balance. Muang La was a real highlight of our holiday. I thoroughly recommend it. "

Talabgaon Castle: "An Indian Gem!"

Review by: NielsBoston | Source: Trip Advisor
We travelled here a family of seven and were treated with warmth and like royalty. Would highly recommend get off the beaten track in luxury! We went to the local town, Lalsot to see the market and purchase bangles, enjoyed the evening cooking school/demo and the camel cart ride in the local village. Bring individuality wrapped sweets (e.g. Starbursts) for local kids. Lots of history here.

Mathis Retreat: "Great get away"

Review by: Shin I | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you're a couple looking for a quite & complete getaway from the loud to be lazy, then this is the place! Nice cozy rooms and the balcony will certainly make you feel relaxed. Having your breakfast with a panoramic view of the rice fields definitely adds value to your stay. There aren't much happening around & location may appear remote from Ubud centre, yet the shuttle service may solve your concerns. If you need ideas Karine will help you with attractions and tours, was a great idea consulting with her for our stay!"
