Tugu Bali: "Awesome hotel!"
"We stayed at tugu for the beginning of our honeymoon, the location is unbeatable we were in walking distance to the beach and to shops and great food. Staff was attentive and friendly and very helpful! We were mostly in town for surfing so we spent only evenings at the hotel but the pool gorgeous and the day beds close to The beach offer a great sunset view of the beach. We will be back hopefully!!"Amata Lanna: "Perfect"
We stayed here 3 nights in January & it was lovely in every way. The staff were so helpful, the rooms lovely and the bed very comfy. It's close to the road and there is some noise from that in the morning, but it's otherwise very peaceful. Breakfast was good. No complaints, except the endless rain, but I can remember blame the hotel for the weather.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "It won’t disappoint – Book (via email) well in advance!"
"We'd heard of Cuisine Wat Damnak for years and with a recent trip to Angkor, we could not miss the opportunity to give it a go. It certainly didn't disappoint - even if you're not familiar with Khmer cuisine, this place is a treat and an education ... it certainly made us more curious. The menu is seasonal and changes frequently - you get a choice of 2 tasting menus of either 5 or 6 courses. The most expensive it gets is USD31/person without alcohol - pricy for the rest of Siem Reap but a steal to dine in one of Asia's top 50 restaurants. The wine and beverage menu is extensive and the chef-proprieter Joannès Rivière will be on hand to recommend you something that suits. He's also happy to explain dishes if you need - but really, just sit and savour the flavours."CABOCHON HOTEL & RESIDENCE: "Urban Bangkok feel — Hit it twice this so far."
"For those seeking to experience the vibe of Bangkok as a psuedo-denizen for a couple of days -- that is, to live/to sleep amid that ordinary urban street mix of local food vendors adjacent to gleaming skyscrapers, [and, with some solid benefits such as a being near a handy supermarket, the Skytrain Phrom Phong stop, a hip juice bar, and a small city park] the Cabochon offers this kind of feel in the Thai metropolis. It's not on the famed river, and it's not super luxury. Rather, it's under-the-radar subtle. Hidden down a small alley from that urban mix, the colonial-era building is a sweet spot -- surrounded by lush foliage and filled inside with Asian collectibles. Venture out into the Bangkok chaos, and return back to the chill of the Cabochon, where the genuinely warm staff will greet you with smiles -- more smiles when you order a couple of rounds of mojitos. Relaxed without anyone in your grill. Clean, more than acceptable, not over-priced. And best, it is super understated."Labyrinth: "A uniquely Singaporean experience"
Each dish had a story of its own. Presentation was on-point and taste was amazing. GreatCuca: "Our all time favourite restaurant"
True perfection.....chef's tasting degustation makes it easy..... Our kids were so welcomed and looked after. Dining in the garden was magical....such value for money extraordinary dining.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A night to remember <3 <3 <3"
"I stayed at 4 rivers three weeks ago but I can still remember how amazing the place is. It was a long drive but when you reached the 4th bridge which the reception is located you will be amazed by the surroundings . I'm typically not a nature lover but when the boat started to pass by the river surrounded by mountains it took my breath away :D When I arrived at the resort the staff and crew gave me a very warm welcome . The resort facilities are outstanding .You’ll get the chance to use the kayak and fishing rod for free. also love the library which has a good collection of books and even board games for kids and kids at heart . The manager (Adonis) is so approachable and very kind not only to the guest but also to his staff. 4 RIVERS is the PERFECT PLACE to unwind and be with nature :D Looking forward on coming back there sooonnnnnnn!!! :D"MesaStila: "I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Central Java"
We had such an amazing stay that we wondered if we could extend our trip, despite needing to pay extra to change our flights. The room was super comfortable and artfully decorated. The vibe from the entire property was welcoming, peaceful and relaxing. I feel like we've been transported to a land without worries. The ever smiling and helpful staff definitely helped! The Turkish bath and massage was 12/10. Must try. I felt like a newborn right after.Locavore: "INCREDIBLE IMAGINATION USED TO CREATE THE ULTIMTE FOOD EXPERIENCE"
"This is the best dining experience ever, we had the 5 course degustation menu, one was vegetarian, so we could both share half of each course, which were accompanied by matching cocktails.......before hand we were served 5 starters...absolute taste thrills.....desserts incredible, presentation ......perfection..... combined with artistry. Service outstanding, couldn't fault one thing. Thank you Locavore for making our evening.....an unforgettable food adventure."Rachamankha: "Calming, beautiful botique hotel"
Beautiful abbey turned hotel in the middle of the city. Nice amenities, superb sevice, plus scrumptous breakfasts included. Centrally located with only a 15 minute max walk to wherever you want to go in the old city.
