Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Recently rewarded with the title “best coastal Resort in Asia” , the Neeeshwar hermitage"
"This 16 bungalows counting hermitage , amidst a brilliant southern flowering garden, Looking to the Arabian sea, is really a shining jewel on Malabar's coast. Very friendly competent staff, excellent food an very quiet surrounding. Healthy walks Along a sandy beach. Neeleswar hermitage ""for ever""!"Tandjung Sari: "Wonderful old style Bali hotel"
We loved our week at the Tandjung Sari - barefoot luxury - that we didn't leave the hotel all week - except for a quick shop up the road at Biasa. And we're going back. Beautiful craftworks, hand made pavers and pool tiles, fresco style painted outdoor pavilion.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "<3"
A few days before the trip, I happened to feel insecure about the trip. Because it was my first time to go such an adventurous place without my family members. As the day came, i still joined with my friends. My first impression about the hotel was the "Security" that they gave to me. I was actually over thinking about how dangerous it was to visit a place located in the middle of the river surrounded by the forest. But I felt relieved as they did everything they could to have my trust. My second impression was the interaction between the people and the environment. It was so refreshing and beautiful. That's how the nature is supposed to be like. My third impression would be the hotel, 4 Rivers Floating Lodge itself. It was incredibly amazing how the products that were placed in the hotel were actually could be decomposed and not going to effect the environment. The facilities that we needed in our daily life were placed in the hotel too even though it's on the river. I felt so safe and secure because they provided materials that could save us in some cases. The people were so nice and polite. The foods was great in every meals and the transportation was good too. I've learned something new there. I hope to visit that place again <3The Island Lodge: "Natural elegance"
The Island Lodge is a luxury property in a natural location. The ambience is unique in the Mekong Delta. The pool, the food, the rooms, the staff, the welcome, the good-bye, the attention to detail in every regard are nothing short of spectacular. This is a 5-star resort in an otherwise humble Delta surrounding. Although the prices are considerably higher than the local competition, the value is definitely there. If you want to pamper yourself in every way, this is your destination in the Mekong Delta. Everything you need is available on the premises. We went on a boat trip to a floating market, and the Lodge provided us with one of their staff to act as our personal guide, without additional cost. Every detail is covered.David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic service"
For my honeymoon I wanted to take my wife to a nice restaurant while in chiang Mai. I was extremely surprised on the amazing service this restaurant offered while we were there. The whole time there was an experience, from their very well enthusiastic staff to David himself catering to our every need. Our table was decorated and had a sign congratulating us on our honeymoon. At the end of our service they gave my wife roses and said it was from me. She was extremely happy that I took her there and enjoyed every moment. Thank you for providing us with A stellar service.Bassac Cruises: "Very enjoyable and better than expected"
We were lucky to have been allocated Bassac 1. I say that because she is an original vessel with fewer cabins than her sister boats and has a very pleasing worn in feel. We were greeted on board by the charming and friendly crew who looked after us very well throughout. Other reviewers have kindly given the details of the various things that you can see on or off the boat but my take is that this is definitely something worth doing. Sitting on deck as the sun sinks below the river is a wonderful experience. We would have happily spent another night on board.Mie Cafe: "Amazing"
The food is stunning. the decor very modern. And, yes, as per other reviews, the tuna tartar is superb. We will be going back for seconds!Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "A very special place"
I would echo Meredith, Dan and others who have given this a rating of five - or more. We enjoyed every minute of our time at Muang La Lodge and would have stayed longer if we could have. From the moment we walked through the gates, we felt well cared for and knew we were in good hands at a very special location. The care they take, not only with their guests but with the local villagers, is palpable. We had a room overlooking the river - and the "public" hot springs used the the villagers (which the hotel built for them in exchange for the villagers allowing the hotel to use water from the hot springs). While I was initially concerned upon hearing this, it ended up being a great thing to watch villagers young and old come and use it in the later afternoon. Staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. Both breakfast and dinner were fabulous. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The quality of sleep was wonderful: the bed was great with high-quality pillows, and the room was quiet with only a hint of sound from the river outside, which made it even easier to sleep. What are you waiting for - book now!Talabgaon Castle: "A countryside oasis"
The resort is about an hour out of Jaipur in truly rustic rural surroundings. The castle has been very tastefully restored and the entire property is very well maintained. Being a small resort, it is idea as a very peaceful getaway. The food is very good.Inle Princess Resort: "Splurge for the lake view suite"
"Beautiful hotel. The grounds are gorgeous. Service superb. I would splurge on the lake view suite. We spent a lot of time watching the sunsets and seeing the colors change on the water as the sun went down. This is definitely a balcony and view you will use. The restaurant was beautiful as was the bar. My only complaint was that they tried to pass off Tilapia one night as ""sea bass"". No big deal (as this type of slight of hand happens everywhere else), but I thought this clumsy and unnecessary."
