Samanea Beach Resort: "Good service"
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and perfect. The food and location near sea and the resort have a nice brigde. Bathroom is so natural. You can swim in big pool. Quiet environment. Great place for weekend escapeSanak Retreat Bali: "Getting better and better"
I stayed at Sanak a couple years ago and always wanted to go back. I finally did and had an even better time than I did the 1st time. Sebastian and his team really have the term 'hospitality' at heart, attending to your every need. Now the property has a spa too so it adds to the sense of relaxation. But if you want to stay active, many excursions are possible, always with local people that know the area very well. I recommend to stay at least 2 nights to fully take in all that Munduk and Sanak have to offer. I look forward to coming back!Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Great time"
"I loved it! From the first steps we made into the camp, till the minute we had to leave. Noel´s Safari Camp is probably the best and most ecological way of luxury living around the national park. Every tent has a comfy bed with netted windows, monkeysafe and outdoor styled bathroom facilities, solar lights, eco soap and wonderfully scented and clean towels and linen. Although we knew that we´re already in the national park, surrounded by wildlife we felt totally safe. We sadly didn´t get the chance to see any leopards on our safary, but the fact that we could spot lots of other animals in their natural environment itself is woth going there."Tugu Bali: "Delightful"
My family and I totally enjoyed our time at Hotel Tugu. Amazing entrance with a world class selection of Asian antiques. The rooms were amazing and the food and staff were all superb. Forget the traffic and congestion of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak and head to Cangguu. Their Japanese restaurant, JI, is a mustJing’s Residence: "Maybe the nicest hotel I have ever been to"
"This is a wonderful hotel in a magically preserved town in China, only 3 hours forty minutes from Beijing by bullet train. A UNESCO site. The hotel is superb. You will be treated as a friend, served wonderful food, welcomed in every way. With only 16 glorious rooms (and a spa), this will be the highlight of any trip. I have been to China a number of times, and have always enjoyed the friendly nature of the people, but this hotel took that to a new level. I think it is the best, and unquestionably the nicest, hotel I have ever stayed in. Ms. Yang Jing makes you feel as though she personally invited you. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the warmth of its staff is amazing. Stay a few days and just enjoy"MesaStila: "Must-stay resort in Central Java"
The title says it all: if you travel in, or through, Central Java, you must stay in MesaStila. The resort is beautifully set in a historic coffee plantation in Java's highlands. Expect complete tranquility and Javanese hospitality. The villas are set along gentle slopes within the plantation and nature is never more than a few meters away. The villas have been carefully (re) built in local style and are quite spacious. The various common areas are spread across the property and make for a spacious, tranquil ambiance. Service is highly attentive and yet not intrusive. Last but not least, don't miss out on the spa!Amata Lanna: "A treat"
Small resort with few and luxurious rooms that all face the pool-manicured garden area. remarkably beautiful structure and attention to detail. Folks and always ready to give you the best advice on what to visit the beautiful Chiang Mai, attention should be friendly to Pong, owner of the hotel who greeted us in the best way in its structure. Council also highly recommend a massage at "The Home", a massage center agreement with the hotel which is a few kilometers away, went every day for three consecutive days. Ours was a perfect stay, very good.Sea Dance Resort: "A beautiful retreat – I want to go back!"
We spent 6 nights at Sea Dance and I honestly could have stayed longer. We had a warm welcome and our deluxe bungalow was spotlessly clean and a good size. We had a quirky bathroom which was attached to the outside of the bungalow which we loved and again spotless. The staff were so welcoming and were all great to have a chat to. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a special breakfast and flowers in my room, its a touch like that you won't find in a bigger resort. The food was exceptional, buffet breakfast and plenty of choices for the evening. We enjoyed the beach too it was very peaceful. You can hire scooters near by to get around. The hotel also has live music, cocktail nights and buffets which were really nice too.Cuca: "Fun and creative food"
"Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) came for dinner. We were a bit surprised that they had a kids menu. The kids really enjoyed their meals, although the portions were pretty tiny for 10-12 yr olds. We had some really fun cocktails including a tropical sangria and lime mojito. They started us with a taste of cotton candy coated with spices. We ordered a bunch of tapas to share including -mushroom fritters which were really good, I would get this again. -baked scallop w/mashed cauliflower: tasty and creamy cauliflower went really well with the scallop, I'd get this again. -roasted pork bun with pickled cabbage; good but definitely but definitely not the best (Momofuku) -smoked butterfish w beetroot cream- nice smokey flavor, solid dish -honey baked pumpkin salad w crunchy granola, a signature dish which was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the crunchy granola w the pumpkin -crispy fried chicken, pretty good and tasty but nothing that special -bbq octopus was ok -marinated pulled pork w soft boiled egg was ok, flavors were ok but not spectacular, wouldn't get this again. -clay pot mushroom rice was good with lots of mushrooms, portion was a bit small. -dessert cocoa99 was really yummy, warm chocolate w mint ice cream and cocoa croutons- I love mint & chocolate so this was great for me. -caramel apple w black pepper ice cream- ice cream was very interesting. Overall we had a really fun meal. Service was great, they were really friendly and nice. It was great to come in a big group to get to try a lot of different dishes. I would recommend Cuca for a nice meal out in Jimbaran."The Cabochon Hotel: "Stylish Boutique hotel"
In the middle of Bangkok we found this stylish Hotel in an old Colonial style Building. The staff was very friendly and after running around in Bangkok the Swimmingpool on the rooftop was a blessing. The room was huge and the furniture very stylish like the Hotel. A must stay for people who like to be in the middle of this city and want to enjoy the amenities of a quite Boutique Hotel. A lot of good Bars and Restaurants are just around the corner.
