Dewakan: "Was a little skeptical about French cuisine in Malaysia but with chef Darren Teoh – WOW!"
"My sister had booked a birthday dinner for me at Dewakan restaurant- French cuisine with local Malaysian ingredients. Hmmm... I rather have local food, I told her. The reservation is booked & she had given the deposit to ensure the dinner reservation.... sigh... ok... let's try. The restaurant was located at Shah Alam at a school... as for parking, tell the security guard that you are going to the restaurant- there is ample parking as everyone has left the college Ambience- Nice tasteful decor Service- Attentive & Impeccable We had tapa size courses, 12 courses I think. Each course is carefully explained. We even had chef Darren who came out himself to explain the dish to us. At each place setting- you have a menu that tells you the order of the courses. All interesting- there are a couple of ingredients that I would not have tried however it was done in such a way that it was palatable & enjoyable. There are many courses that is just simply WOW! At the end of the meal... I apologized to my sister & thank her for the great recommendation Check their website- apparently the menu does change."MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Beautiful place"
It is a beautiful place surrounded by nature. You would be able to hear birds singing and the wind blowing from morning to night. It is truly a relaxing place. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and the staffs are excellent. They are very attentive and will remember personal requests. It is a place to appreciate the history and the culture behind the resort. It is the place to enjoy the nature but if anybody is in to modern style they should think again.tugu bali: "Excellent service and homely feel"
"Absolutely fantastic service. I have never experienced more genuine and attentive service from our arrival to departure. Simply flawless. Love the maze like garden with canals and fishes. Rooms are good a bit run down, but all is made up by the fantastic staff! Well worth a visit!! World class service in a stunning surrounding. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace and tranquility by a beautiful beach on the Arabian Sea"
If it is total relaxation you are after then this hotel is perfect. The massage facilities are superb and very reasonably priced, breakfast on the beach or dinner watching the magnificent sunsets all add to the enjoyment. With ample space in the pleasant grounds for all guests to either be alone or in the company of fellow guests, this hotel offers a totally relaxing experience. All villas are superbly equipped, we were positioned very close to the swimming pool which for us was perfect.Hotel Tugu Bali: "A hidden gem in the heart of Gu Town"
Definitely a place of serenity and peace of mind, from the beautiful artefacts scattered around the property to one of the best customer experiences we've experienced throughout our stay in Bali. Tugu held a Christmas dinner the other day, meal was amazing and can rest assure we'll be back again.Samanea Beach Resort: "Great place to stay, almost perfect"
"Great environment, nice bungalow, beautiful setting, amazing view on the sea and fabulous sunset. The staff is very nice and helpful from the waiters to the manager. Few bungalows so you really feel being in a protected place with not many people and a beautiful nature. The only critics would be about the restaurant (not the service which is great) but the food : breakfast too poor and too many courses missing each day on the menu. However food is good. Finally the swimming pool is large and nice but hotel should take care of the maintenance as some mosaic pieces are missing or going apart. If you go to Kep I definitively recommend this great resort that I would refer more as an Eco-lodge, you will feel being in a special place"Villa Song: "Superb boutique haven"
"A wonderful boutique hotel away from the madness of district 1. The option of a shuttle boat along the river into the heart of the city is a nice touch. Either eating or drinking out on the patio area of a evening with the boats quietly winding their way down the river is a superb setting to while away a few hours with the high rise buildings of the city lit up as your backdrop. Other reviewers have commented on the small portions at breakfast. Whilst we both love our food we did not consider the portions too small. However, as the management have commented the staff I am sure would only be too happy to serve addional helpings if requested. All in all a great option for a stay in HCMC."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Exceptional stay in a very unique property"
"The property is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't stop taking pictures of all the intricate details. It felt surreal to wake up in such a beautiful hotel and I would definitely stay here again when I'm back in Penang. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities, a mini bar with free refreshments, daily fresh snacks like delicious cookies and other sweets, toiletries, big closets, a tv and a beautiful balcony perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The fine dining restaurant Indigo is a must try! I recommend: the crispy duck leg and the coconut pineapple cake for dessert."Rachamankha: "Breakfast, service, and spacious rooms"
"I had horrible allergies here, but I still think that this hotel deserves a 5 star rating. I loved the 3 course breakfast (probably too much food but prepared us for some long days!) Pool is huge and relaxing although we never saw any other guests in the water, and it closes early. A perk (for me) is that this hotel is designed for adults, and there's beautiful art everywhere. Housekeeping was always available, and the location is extremely close/walkable to shops, markets and Wats while maintaining a secluded feeling."Muang La Resort: "Magical and relaxing"
Staying here was worth the drive! Peaceful, relaxing, and downright magical. We stayed four days and each day felt more at peace. It was wonderful to watch the locals go about their activities on the river from the balcony of our comfortable room. Rui-Yang and Jean-Roch were helpful and caring hosts. We enjoyed the excursions to the hill tribes and to the local village and temple. The food was delicious. I'm glad that the staff are locals - they are so kind - and Rui-Yang or Jean-Roch were always available to translate. The grounds are beautiful, and gorgeous butterflies are everywhere. This is a simple, charming and beautiful hotel, with a real sense of place. Loved our stay here.
