"Ho prenotato questa struttura un po' alla cieca ma mi è rimasta nel cuore. Sono rimasta colpita dalla struttura, sono rimasta colpita dal tatto e dalla gentilezza con cui lo staff ti accompagna in una realtà così diversa. La stanza è molto curata sia negli arredi sia per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle tenda con piscina privata ed è stata un'esperienza unica poter sentire i rumori della natura all'interno di una tenda dotata di ogni confort. Ubud è vicinissima e il resort ha delle navette gratuite con cui raggiungere il centro. Il responsabile Kendu ci ha aiutato in ogni nostra richiesta e necessita..Impeccabile! We stayed here for two nights after doing some serious trekking and strenuous outdoor activity the previous several days. It was a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation! We took advantage of the spa and massage services, spent time on our balcony enjoying the view of the Mekong river, and ate several very tasty meals in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and the outdoor (hot!) shower was a real treat! I would definitely stay here again.The Island Lodge: "A charming adress in Mekong"
After a vibrant week end in Saigon, the island lodge is the perfect place to be : stunning view on the mekong river, just wildness around, an amazing lodge with only 12 bedrooms, lovely decorated in the spirit of the old 'indochine', superb bathroom and a terrace on the river to relax. The swimming pool is beautiful, cristal clear, and you can enjoy a jacuzzi, a sauna and also a typical spa for great vietnamese massages. Michel and Francoise, the french owners will ensure that everything is made for you with a true sign of details and perfection. If you want to pick a unique adress along the Mekong, the island lodge is the place to be ! "We actually stayed here in October 2015 and took the risk of heading up into the mountains to go see what we can find. We came across this special peace of Bali and could not have been happier. The location is stunning and the concept is magical. True Balinese warmth makes this retreat a little slice of heaven. A true experience of all senses and one of the highlights of magical Bali. It is a little trek to get here away from the main coasts and hustle and bustle of Ubud but it is worth it. "I was back in Siem Reap in May and stayed again at The Samar with a group of friends. The staff remembered me and my habits... and this time they propose us to experience other activities such as a picnic on a platform on the Tonle Sap, some puppet show... lot of creativity and attention to details... it made us feel we were not just in a hotel, but staying with friends sharing their secrets with us to make us discover their area. "We stayed at The Village house in mid August this year (2015), and we loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are luxurious, wonderfully comfortable and thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is stunning, everything has been done for you to effortlessly enjoy the stunning surroundings and allow you to fully relax. We took lots of trips from The Village House, all of which were excellent and extremely hassle free. We ate in the restaurant every day and never had a bad meal, again a really thoughtfully put together menu and everything was fabulous. A truly unique and distinctive experience at Blackitch Artisan Kitchen. Chef Black's philosophy around food and ethics comes through in all his dishes - local, creative, artisan and balanced. His food is innovative, experimental and he has a real flair for flavours. Chef Black explained each of his dishes as they came to the table and the processes - the majority of the food is organic and handmade. I was fascinated to hear about the fermentation processes and work he'd gone through to create the dishes - an unforgettable evening !
