The Village House: "Fine Dining experience in a village life… Interesting"
"My 2nd visit to this resort since my last year stayed. This time was a bit different experience compared my previous because it's happened to be the yearly Rainforest World Music Festival 2016. It's full house and my 1st experience to stay in a dormitory style. Very clean and just nice with 6 beds in a room. I would categorize this as luxury dormitory style. For those who are planning to come for this yearly event, I would suggest you to stay around Santubong area where it easy for you to access to RWMF2016. The Village has taken over everything for their guests, hassle free during my stays here. To my surprised, our breakfast, dinner and supper are included during this period of time in one price. The most impressed was the 4 courses fine dining dinner set. Awesome!... The only downside of my stays here are the foods quality has dropped especially during breakfast time. Our ordered has taken wrongly and we were rushing to check out. Overall the foods are bit too salty. I can understand because of this festive has keeping the staffs so busy and tired but really need to maintain it quality. I will still come back again but not during any festive period."Locavore: "Ecstatic"
"Never thought I'd have to go to Ubud to get the best culinary experience in my life. This restaurant ticks all the boxes for me. Phenomenal food using local ingredients, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great ambiance. Seemingly endless appetisers, 7 courses with a pre-desert and 3 let's call them post deserts. I was in heaven! I especially liked the squid in black dish and the Bangkok Hitam (pork shoulder). We chose a beverage pairing with each course. These beverages were cleverly crafted cocktails. In my opinion they deserve a Nobel prize for cocktails for their cocktail with bacon! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to have their tastebuds titillated. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance!"Villa Mathis: "A little gem"
"Went there without knowing what to expect and what a great surprised! This property is one of a kind, few villas scattered in a huge tropical garden, we were staying in Villa des Rizières with friends and everything was perfect, the bedrooms really nicely decorated the lodging area to die for and the pool just gorgeous!!! The staff is really helpful dedicated and friendly... I strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to Semyniak and Canggu but in a quite and stunning environment. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Villa Song Saigon: "The best boutique 5star Hotel of Saigon"
We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Song. The extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff made us feel at home in no time. The great location of the Villa directly at the Saigon river in the very hipp and up-coming District 2 of beautiful Saigon adds to the overall quality of the stay. We will surely come back! The Island Lodge: "Excellent lodge located right in front of the Mekong"
"We enjoyed a lot our stay here starting with the pool just in front of the Mékong. We had a room with a large terrace and with a great bathroom. The bedoom itself is a bit small to accomodate two kids but that was ok. The owner rented us a car with a driver, that was very convenient. It is so nice to see someone willing to please his customers by any means.Highly recommended to anyone willing to visit the Mekong delta."Mie Cafe: "Wonderful discovery for Khmer fusion food"
We have been living in Cambodia for 20 months now and have tried a lot on the evolving Top Ten restaurant must-try. Now here is one quiet, unassuming restaurant off the tourist spots in Siem Reap that we found to be REALLY, REALLY GOOD. Chef Pola is Khmer and very creative with local cuisine plus his talent and training abroad makes it world class gourmet. What can I say.. I even tried the red ants and eggs on the menu and liked the entire dish. Just give the tuktuk driver the address and he can bring you there.Talabgaon Castle: "Calm and serene !!"
"Just one and a half hour drive from jaipur, this hotel is a gem, a beautifully converted 'haveli'. We stayed in the heritage suit which was upto the mark and tastefully done. Since we ( me, my husband and two sons) were the only guests at that time, the service was impeccable. The staff is very humble and courteous and always ready to assist. The grounds are vast and spacious with plenty of space to walk around. The food is also very good. The place has a calm and serene environment. It is a perfect destination for short relaxing and quite holiday. Highly recommend it."Slow Villas and Spa: "Unique hideaway"
"During my stay in Gili Air I was unfortunate with the weather. It was probably the biggest rain I've witnessed on this lovely little island but arriving to Slow villas made it all disappear. Receptionist welcomed me with a smile that almost brought out the sun again. The manager escorted me to my villa holding an umbrella for me. Got to love that. Villa was exquisite from top to bottom. Beautifully finished little details gave me ""wow"" moments throughout the whole stay. You could order almost everything you wanted from the reception so the remote location and bad weather wasn't an issue. And the breakfast....fantastic!! Many different options to choose from and everything served in a way that just makes you want to have breakfast for lunch and dinner as well. A perfect getaway. My favorite piece of paradise."Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heaven on Earth"
"This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, peace and tranquillity by the Arabian Sea, heaven on earth. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in a lovely cottage called Shanti overlooking the sea, attention to detail was of the highest standard, everything was perfect. There are just 12 cottages which make it very special. The spa was the best we have ever been too, we had a Shirodhara massage, amazing... we were rejuvenated and calmed. Breakfast was at the beach restaurant, (food was of the highest standard) after early morning yoga, what a beautiful way to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Neeleshwar, and hope to return again. "Tugu Malang: "lovely boutique hotel with a lot of history"
i only stayed one night and liked it a lot. we were given a tour if the hotel and learned so much about the history of the house. there are so many pieces of art with so much history. stay there and take the tour. don't forget to eat there!
