The Island Lodge: "Peaceful visit"
We stayed here after a day on the Mekong Delta. The staff are really attentive and go out of their way to welcome you and look after you while you are there. The pool is brilliant, the gardens are exquisite and we really enjoyed the beautiful French food.Villa Song Saigon: "Amazing boutique hotel"
An amazing boutique hotel besides the Saigon river. Normal rooms are a little small but the suites are amazing. My spouse and I stayed in a suite with balcony and we truely loved it. Everything is just great. All staff are most pleasant and Freddie at the terrace restaurant made sure we were well taken care of. For my birthday, flowers with a personal card was delivered to our suite; how attentive!. A private boat takes you from the hotel to the city (district 1) and at specified times, the boat will bring you back. We stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel and we enjoyed every minute of it!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Very comfortable and extremely friendly"
"My godson and I stayed 3 nights here. The bungalows are beautifully designed and cater for ever need. The many windows open onto the backwaters with views of the fields beyond. It is an ecological resort with its own organic vegetable and herb garden and the kitchen is well versed in local dishes and high quality. The menu was very reasonably priced. M As with most resorts in Myanmar, it is not cheap at USD $230 per night. Yet the experience was excellent and the staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Ms. Thant Zin Aye who helped us with every detail, including choosing our menus each night. Breakfast served outside on the terrace is truly lovely. The resort is famous for its Burmese cat sanctuary and is known locally as ""the cat house"". The only downside was the Internet connection which was almost non existent. I would highly recommend this hotel for its unique boutique qualities. Stayed March 2016, traveled with friends"Cuca: "Amazing food"
We enjoyed a romantic dinner here in the garden. Beautiful restaurant and grounds. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They guided us through each item we ordered. Tapas were outstanding. Price is high for Bali but worth it for the quality of food, taste, presentation and experience!Satri House: "An oasis of coolness and calm."
"Within the bustling tourist hotspot that is Luang Prabang, Satri House is an oasis of coolness and calm. With its beautiful gardens, cool fountains and pools; with its delightful spaces formed between and around the buildings which make up the various parts of the hotel; it is indeed like being in a very special retreat. The most charming and helpful staff create the feeling of being in a grand English Country House and they are both inconspicuous and yet always available to meet your every need, Breakfasts and dining experiences are memorable. A truly wonderful experience. (...) Nevertheless, staying at Satri House is without doubt a fascinating and most enjoyable experience -- albeit an expensive one. Highly recommended."Tugu Bali: "Mr Roni Braitanbaum"
"It was an amazing experience . The staff were so professional and polite and try all the time to make sure we are ok . The variety of art collection is amazing .The facilities were so comfortable and clean . The rooms were very large with outdoor shower and fish pond . The food was great. I highly recommend to stay in the Bali Tugu."Satri House: "Special and a real secret retreat!…"
"We couldn't have made a better choice for our stay in LP! Used to check all reviews in detail before we make our booking, our expectations were already high when arriving at Satri House, but our experience during our 4 nights stay has beaten this even more. All ingredients for a perfect stay for my wife, our daughters and myself were there! It certainly is a hidden gem! All staff members are super friendly and personal. The warm welcome by Giovanni (the Satri House GM) himself was much appreciated. The atmosphere within Satri House is really special....quiet and majestic...Every single corner of the hotel has special, beautiful decorations and the rooms are very well acquainted with lots of special details. AC is perfect and beds very comfortable...Both swimming pools provided our kids lots of fun after having discovered LP and its surroundings in the heat during the day. Located very little outside the city centre, but with a short of 5 minutes by bike or TukTuk you're at the night market and the city centre. Breakfast is very good and a la carte (a la carte fits more with the atmosphere of Satri House than a buffet, so keep it like this). Marmelades prepared by the lovely grand old lady are delicious and the special birthday cake for our youngest daughter during her birthday was very much appreciated! All in all, having travelled all over the world and stayed in many small boutique hotels in SE Asia, Satri House is a must stay and recommended for 100%! @Giovanni, suppose the buffalo mozzarella of the local buffalo farm has been / will be placed on your menu card....:-)...It would confirm your roots with this secret retreat on the other side of the earth...:-). Regards with lovely memories, Roger, Miranda, Noa and Lily"Rachamankha: "BEAUTIFUL hotel in the Thai tradition!"
It was great to experience the beauty of Thailand in the guest rooms, the restaurant and the gardens. The whole property feels zen and made for a very restful stay. The breakfast which was included in the price of our rooms offered many choices and everything was delicious. The service is impeccable and friendly. Every place we saw was kept clean and neat. It's an amazing place! I'll never forget it!Pindaya Farm House: "Lovely quiet place with great rooms, delicious food, beautiful views and friendly staff"
A short drive from Pindaya and Shwe Oo Min, this lovely place has high quality well appointed bedrooms, each with a small balcony with great views across the countryside. The dinners and breakfast were delicious, and staff very friendly. (It would be amazing if the fishpond were actually a small swimming pool, but you can't have everything!)Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely and relax resort"
We stayed here for two nights with a great design room plus a pool view and big garden. It is a real Khmer art for sure. Lovely, friendly, and helpful staff. Location is good, abit quiet but sleep well. Good experience and will go back with friends for next visit in Cambodia.
