Mudanwan Villa: ""
The Cabochon Hotel: "Unique interiors charming staff"
Our room was spacious and unique in interior design. The staff were charming and very helpful. Hotel is small and has the feel of a private club. Good location near major shopping centers and the train.Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Beautiful traditional house/inn in traditional Bukchon neighborhood – wonderful to stay and wander nearby"
"This beautiful traditional house (hanok) is set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. A convenient subway stop (Anguk Station) is about four blocks away. Rakkojae's four rooms surround a quiet courtyard. The are four rooms are lovely – each different. We had the smallest room, but it came with a lovely wooden porch overlooking the peaceful and beautiful courtyard. We sat on the porch to read in the morning and afternoons. We also had delicious breakfasts on the porch (we chose the delicious Korean breakfast, but Western is also available). You can arrange to have a Korean dinner served on the porch or in your room – we chose the Galbi dinner, which arrived with many small dishes (panchan) and chapchae (noodles) -- everything was delicious and beautiful. There is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees on the walls. The manager Mr. Kim is friendly and helpful. He provided us with ideas and recommendations as we planned our explorations around the Bukchon neighborhood. We loved staying in the Bukchon neighborhood - fun, with a mix of old beautiful traditional buildings and cute and trendy clothing shops and coffee shops. Two palaces are close by (Gyeongbokong Palace and Changdeokgung Palace) as well as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and many art galleries (in Seochon neighborhood nearby). There are also small traditional handcraft workshops to visit. Because of the convenience of Anguk Subway Station and the efficiency of the Seoul subway we were easily able to use Bukchon as our base to explore all of Seoul. We were so happy with our choice to stay at Rakkojae and in the Bulchon neighborhood."The Island Lodge: "“Thank you Michel"
"Really enjoyed our two night stay with Michel and Francoise. This place is exactly what it says on the packet - a quiet retreat outside HCM. We tried the spa (massage) and the morning bike ride with Michel. Really enjoyed both. If l had one wish it would have been for a couple of stable classics on the menu - maybe a burger and a pasta. But the food was great so no issues there :) FYI. Car transfers took 2 hours from the city."Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Beautiful, romantic retreat"
We booked a two-bedroom bungalow and the views of both the sunrise and sunset were amazing. Surrounded by farms, we practically had the retreat to ourselves as it was the low season. The retreat is eco-friendly and offers a range of spa and massage services. Total relaxation, perfect climate and a great place to lounge around the pool. We will definitely re-visit and stay longer.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "My favorite Restaurant in Yangon"
What a fantastic place! The location on the lake is just amazing. Great food and very good service. My favorite Restaurant in Yangon!Reverie Siam Pai: "Stunning"
This is an absolute gem, if you want to have a relaxing stay at a stunning hotel resort then do yourself a favour and book a room here. The staff cannot do enough for you and the food is out of this world, there's normally live, relaxing music being played while you sit having your meal or enjoying a cocktail in the most comfortable seats going. I cannot rate this place highly enough, we will enjoy a return visit, hopefully this year. Go on treat yourself.Amata Lanna: "Great service"
The hotel was very close to the open market . The room was very clean with very cormfotsble beds, but the most amazing thing was the great service . Everyone there had a great attitude and made us feel very welcomed.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Best floating paradise"
We have just left 4 rivers today and were very sad to leave. We had the most amazing time and everything about the experience was excellent. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The service is excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and all facilities that you would expect on a floating camp are available. The meals offered are that of a 5 star experience, wonderful food, amazing presentation and served professionally. The day trips and guides were also fantastic. Make sure you go on the fire fly boat trip just 20mins and it's free plus you're back in time for dinner. You MUST visit this camp and experience it yourselves.
