Inle Princess Resort: "Sublime"
"Un vrai coin de paradis... service impeccable. Emplacement calme et serein. Tres Jolie piscine / non chauffée Jardins bien entretenus et d'une beauté inouïe. J ai adoré cet endroit chic et confidentiel que je conseille les yeux fermés. Bémol : La salle du restaurant qui manque de convivialité Stayed March 2017"The Cabochon Hotel: "Classic eclectic"
"The furnishing and finish is exquisite. The surgical head lamps near the kitchen and classic England sink and toilet bowl are just some examples how the hotel endeavours to capture the past. The service from the hotel staff is the best out there. Limited number of rooms so you feel like you are the only guest here. Interesting breakfast layout where you can dine amongst the hotel lobby areas. Will definitely have fond memory of 45 sukhumvit road. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Rachamankha: "Beautiful hotel"
"What a quiet and serene place to stay. I stayed here in august 2015 while I was visiting Chiang Mai with my mother. The staff was great (however I think everyone in Thailand is great). The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The rooms and beds are great. It's more expensive than other places in Chiang Mai, but for good reason. I would visit definitely visit again."Cuca: "Wow, wow and wow"
This is an amazing restaurant. The location, the atmosphere, the simple yet classy architecture and the wonderful knowledgeable staff. The food is to die for and Chef Kevin Churkas has assembled a classy team in the kitchen to deliver outstanding food. This restaurant will stay in the memory bank for a very long time.Rakkojae Seoul: "Amazing Hanok Stay!"
My wife and I were really hoping to find a great, traditional Hanok style hotel and the Rakkojae exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and kept up well. The room was spotless as well as the bathroom. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He cooked us a delicious western-style breakfast, which we ate outside on the porch overlooking the courtyard. The location is conveniently located near Bukchon and other popular palaces. There are a few delicious food options nearby on the street behind the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing vacation. We hope to return!!!Slow Villas and Spa: "Gorgeous villas and delicious breakfasts"
"Had a lovely 4 nights stay at Slow Villas and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We arrived early, before check in and were provided with drinking water, beach blankets and a basket so we could head to the beach for a few hours before our villa was ready. The villa it's self was beautifully designed and had everything we could need. The privacy was great, pool was cold, outdoor seating was utilized daily. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was amazing. We did not really utilize the kitchen but would be a lovely addition if staying longer and wanted to cook our own meals. The breakfasts provided each morning was so delicious. We had the Australian, Indonesian, and Gili breakfasts and all were so good! The staff were so friendly and attentive to any needs we had, we really can't thank them enough. Great secluded spot on Gili Air. Only con: a bit of a walk (15-20min) to the busier side of the island, but easily doable."4 rivers: "Tranquility Base"
"I stayed with my wife and son for a couple of nights on one of the floating tents recently. Our hosts had arranged an extra bed for our son and a lovely bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday. The 4 Rivers team really enjoy making your stay as comfortable and unique as they can. Swimming in the river straight from your lodge makes you feel like you're in the middle of a jungle. Do get up early and listen to the dawn chorus. The trip to the fishing village and collecting clams in a mangrove swamp is great. There are bugs around at night but they are dealt with. The management did everything they could to make arrangements when our plans changed at short notice. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. "tugu bali: "Superb Dining Course"
"We visited the Tugu by chance when in search for a different dining experience. Their prefixed course menu is nothing but impressive. It is certain worth the splurge. For me the most valuable was their willingness to accommodate on vegetarian options. It is recommended to book at least a day in advance. If you have a large group, they have rooms available with a rather interesting decor theme of red lights, antique and wooden carvings (picture an imperial room in Shanghai). Service is pleasant and friendly. "Satri House: "Great hotel"
"Stayed here for a first time visit to Laos. The arrival is a little underwhelming as the hotel has no frontage to speak of, just an opening with a road down to a doorway very tastefully done. Inside is a revelation- a lovely relaxed layout with 2 pools, bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with 4 poster bed, bathroom, separate toilet and large balcony. The room was clean had all facilities including fruit basket and toiletries in glass bottles. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast east cooked to order with fresh juice, omelettes, croissants etc. Anything asked for was brought without fuss. We did try the restaurant which was very good in the evening. Slight criticisms - there was a cocktail menu at the bar but the barman didn’t really know how to make them. It is about 1 km from the centre so a bit of a walk to get into Luang Prabang town."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxation at its best!"
"In real estate it all about location location and location. My husband and I stayed for three days escaping the hustle of Shanghai. Once you arrive at the lodge you realize all the troubles of modern city life just doesn't matter. Each guest becomes a member of your extended family as you hold exciting conversations about their travels over a delicious dinner that changes everyday. Around 9pm everything just goes silent and you will get some of the best sleep you ever had in your life. If you can rise in the morning as the sun climbs over the mountain and enjoy the coolness of the start of the day. Breakfast have a stabled set but staff is willing to alternate for your taste. We decided to see a local school along the river and it makes you appreciate the efforts of the teachers and students to make their society a better place. There are other trips like to the waterfalls and fisherman village that we did on previous visits. A note to travelers, the Tatai waterfalls isnt as strong in Feb due to it not being raining season (we also visited 4Rivers in Sept of 2013 and you get a wonderful natural massage as the water cascades on your body). Visiting 4Rivers gives you an added perspective of life in Cambodia and is a must see on your life list! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
