Supanniga Eating Room: "Very yummy"

Review by: Jo S | Source: Trip Advisor
Really lovely restaurant with great food, polite service and ambience. We came here for dinner and the staffs were so attentive. The space is quite small so there is only a limited number of tables, so I would suggest you book in advance. I saw about 5 groups of walk ins get turned away during dinner.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Great location & beautiful property"

Review by: Benedict T | Source: Trip Advisor
Very friendly & helpful staff, including the manager. Decided to give this hotel a try based on some recommendations, and also due to the fact that i had a work appointment nearby. Great location & many interesting local attractions to visit nearby. Food at the Blue Mansion was brilliant.

Rahai’i Pangun: "Pure and Natural – Katingan River – Sebangau National Park"

Review by: stephtravelwriter | Source: Trip Advisor
This was an exciting destination - the Sebangau Nat Park, Kalimantan. I was part of a group exploring the Katingan River area for the first time ever, with WOW Borneo, who is the first commercial tourist boat operator allowed to venture commercially on this river. Hail to WOW Borneo for being such pioneers. What explorers we were! This was a unique trip into nature. The boat cruise will now be on the regular WOW schedule. It's a an adventurous cultural trip - you simply must go. Setting camera traps for the clouded leopards in the Sebangau National park with the park ranger was the highlight for me, treking at night in the forest was a first for me, sleeping in homestays in the traditional Dayak villages - wonderful, discovering the black water lakes- beautiful, having the hornbills swooping across the wide Katingan River was a delight indeed and sleeping in forest cabins by special permission - well, that was very special. I have so much to say about this trip. We traversed the smaller rivers by canoe which allowed us to get really close to wildlife and we saw orangutans and proboscis monkeys in their natural setting. Scrumptious lunches were served on board every day, and the cooks produced the most exquisite dishes. The food is a big plus on a WOW Borneo trip. I have been on 5 trips now. What I loved about this NEW Katingan River Sebangau National Park trip is the combination of meeting local families and sleeping in villages, which allows you the chance to talk with local Dayak people. Added to this you have the comfort and luxury of the boat every day. A magical trip into a magical part of Indonesia. Should you go? Yes, most definitely. What you come back with is memories of a truly peaceful place, with silence and beauty that is untouched and not commercialized. Our side trip to the Borneo Orangutan facility BOS, was a great bonus, as we got to hear about orangutans from the experts. In all my travels of Indonesia, for me, this was the most significant trip ever - from a standpoint of solitude, natural beauty and a new discovery into protected lands.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fabulous Respite"

Review by: Andrea M | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here after a grueling six day trek, and what a welcome reward it was! From the moment we disembarked from our jeep, up the steep driveway to the property, our entire group was awed. Literally perched on a mountain top, you have sweeping views from both sides of the mountain. The villas scattered around the property work to maintain privacy, while the beautiful common area has little nooks for privacy, or you can choose to sit on the beautiful verandah, to take in the views, have a drink and rest. The dinner, meanwhile, was delicious, with the tables elegantly set in a non-pretentious way. The villa was beautifully decorated, and again, after our hard work and life in a tent on the trek, the luxurious bed and bathroom was so welcomed! It is truly a retreat - either from the demands that wonderful Nepal asks of you as her traveler, or from the demands that your daily life asks of you. I will certainly return - and might just take in one day in Kathmandu, then come directly back to Tiger Mountain Lodge for three days of beautiful relaxation and rejuvenation."

Tugu Lombok: "Simply the best"

Review by: pidou74 | Source: Trip Advisor
The best hotel we have ever been to (and we have been to a lot of 5 stars). Wonderful for honeymoon and any romantic vacation! Simply perfect! A spa with the best massages and treatments ever. One little minus for the fitness room, which is really nothing in comparison with the wonderful rest. Beautiful property, great beach, amazing food. You will regret not having seen this hotel, honestly.

Reverie Siam: "Beautiful, peaceful resort"

Review by: lizaschneider | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a lovely stay at the Reverie. The grounds are as beautiful as they look on the website. You could be mistaken for thinking you were in Europe. The rooms are palatial, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom was luxurious. It was great having such a good quality restaurant at the resort. We enjoyed having a wine and cheese and meat board by the river during the day, cocktails and tapas at night and the delicious breakfasts in the morning. The only downsides were: - It seems to cater to tour groups, which made it a bit less peaceful -the wifi is not super strong but still pretty good -the pool was so cold! -if you are into minimalist decor, this place is not for you - a final minor point - some members of the tour group left their underwear to dry outside their rooms either on the pathway or on the balconies. I would recommend management ask people to dry clothes in their room to maintain the sophisticated image the hotel has worked hard to achieve. Overall this hotel is great value and made for a very luxurious, restful stop in Pai."

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A cracking place. True hidden gem"

Review by: DublinGommer | Source: Trip Advisor
"No point in rebooting all of the positives from previous reviews. Hard to fault this place. The food is simply superb. The staff are friendly and thoughtful. The pool is beautiful with wonderful ocean views. Rooms clean and comfortable. If you like swimming in the sea, this is not the place for you. If swimming in the sea is not your thing, then you must come here. A great team will welcome you with open arms. Location is a little off the beaten track, but it is very possible that you won't want to leave. Thanks to Poi, Faith and Helen and the team for looking after us and our two little girls for the week. It will live in the memory for sure and we will be recommending to friends for sure."

Tugu Bali: "Absolutely wonderful"

Review by: BKfromBK | Source: Trip Advisor
"An unforgettable stay. The staff is warm, friendly, beyond accommodating and truly gracious. The property is gorgeous — beginning with the stunning lobby that will make your jaw drop the moment you enter. Historic Balinese details are strewn throughout the decor, and the room we stayed in had the feel of a colonial-era suite. Comfortable and modern amenities (the bed is top notch!). The food was fantastic — our breakfasts, in particular, were always the perfect way to start the day. The area itself is a surfer community, so it's a little livelier (and younger) than other parts of Bali that we visited. The beach is nice, though not exactly low-key and relaxing (if you're a surfer, it'll be right up your alley). Some very nice restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. Overall, we loved our time here. We can't say enough about the service and the friendliness of the staff/management. They took care of us in every way and we will most certainly be back the next time we're in Bali."

Talabgaon Castle: "Nice hotel with AMAZING hospitality"

Review by: Karan L | Source: Trip Advisor
"Well, it was a long weekend break, and the wife and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to do 2 things - 1. Visit Bhangarh Fort - which is rated the most haunted place in India 2. Unwind and do practically nothing - as our work schedules are quite hectic On our way from Gurgaon, we covered Bhangarh Fort which is little detour off the route to Lalsot, then carried onto our final destination - Talabgaon Heritage Resort. The road till Lalsot Via Manoharpur - Dausa is quite good, with less traffic and we managed to cover the 290 Kms in about 5 hours. However, on the way back we took the Alwar route, road again is very good however the traffic on this road is more, hence took about 6 hours to reach. The resort is well off the grid, so basically nothing to do but relax at the hotel once there. This is made easy by the fact that the property is quite huge, very well maintained, the staff is ever so polite and eager to help, cleanliness is well taken care of and the food is simply AWESOME !! Dinner was by the pool side both nights, which was a nice arrangement with an army of staff standing by to force feed you :) Mr Narindra Mitra, the GM at the hotel, definitely deserves special mention for making sure we have a pleasant stay and managing the entire hotel/staff so well. Will definitely visit here during my next road trip maybe later this year. Couple of things which readers should be aware of while visiting the place - 1. There is no 4G/3G here for sure, so forget your laptop/ iPad at home and maybe tell the Airtel woman to come down here and do her crappy advertisement :) 2. Wi-Fi wasn't working throughout our stay due to some issue 3. Pool isn't really something to write home about and can be best avoided (The Management should make an investment and get this fixed)"
