Supanniga Cruise: "Best Chao Praya Cruise Ship"
Most of the cruises on Chao Praya river are big boats with chessy music, lousy buffet and full of unpleasant big group tourists. Supanniga has already made its name from their restaurants in the city which drew many sophisticated Bangkokians to the cruise when opened. I had a chance to dine on the cruise. The cruise is small and not crowded. I love the chic and stylish decorations with nice modern music. Food are great. I enjoyed the experience.Maison Polanka: "Secluded Oasis"
An oasis of calm , good food, and excellent service. Such friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are superb. You really are in another world once you have passed through the gates. Just check on the next door neighbors building project as this could affect the peace and quiet.Rachamankha: "Physically beautiful with a wonderfully helpful staff and great food."
We stayed there February 26 - March 1, 2018 to rest up from nearly three weeks in Myanmar and Bhutan. The room was handsomely appointed, well laid out and had excellent lighting. The wood beams and high ceiling of the room and the inner courtyard reminded me of the Monasterio in Cuzco Peru (minus the paintings of 16th century Spanish aristocrats). I mention the lighting because poor lighting seemed to be a common failure among other hotels on this trip through Myanmar and Bhutan. The restaurant was excellent with very attentive and responsive service. We would have no problem returning at any time.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Escape to this floating paradise"
"First the location on the wide rivers is simply to dream about. You can swim from your luxury tent or watch the boats the birds or the sky. The lodge is staffed by gentle people who attend to every wish. The food is delicious. I would put it high on the list of adventures in Cambodia. Loved the sunset cruise and waterfall excursion. Room Tip: All the tents look straight over the river"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A place dreamed come true"
"My first visit to this amazing place was 4 years ago and since then I have been fortunate to be back on two other occasions. The first time was the perfect culmination of my trip to Cambodia and since that time 4 Rivers captivated me with all his charms: the environment, a unique place still intact in the country; the landscape, relaxing, lush and wonderful; the sound, of silence, peace and tranquility that surrounds it; the concept, luxury tents floating in a river in middle of the jungle; the service, attentive to every detail and need; the food, excellent and varied ... Can you ask for more? Try it, and maybe you can see the magic show of fireflies flashing in the night after an amazing nocturnal kayak ride. As I said before, I have been fortunate to be able to return more times to this awesome place and to show my best friends and family this hidden gem of Cambodia. All enjoyed the place and the lodge as I do. If you have the chance, do not doubt. Worth it. "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Amazing food"
"Our friends booked this restaurant a few months ago for us And it was excellent there were two tasting menus & we love good Resturants & this did not disappoint it should have a Michelin star & if it was any where else it would have Service was first class as was the food If your visiting semi reap book in advance it's a must"Bassac Cruises: "The perfect Mekong overnight cruise"
"We travelled on Bassac III from Can Be (2.5 hrs from Ho Chi Min) to Can Tho (4 hr return to Ho Chi Min). It's a lovely boat with very friendly staff and excellent food. We arrived in pouring rain so the staff made sure we were 'umbrella-ed' from shore to boat. The rooms are small, as they'd said, but so charming that we didn't notice. We did the right thing by leaving our main luggage in Ho Chi Min, so we only had a small case. The bathroom is a 'wet room', which looked like it'd soak everything but it didn't: it worked brilliantly! The cruise route was clearly explained and very interesting, including a guided walk around a very small Mekong hamlet to see their homes, fields and farming, school, rice wine distillery and even how they harvest methane! We were treated to a huge selection of local fruit in a local garden before re-boarding. In the morning, we toured a floating market in a 'bus boat' which was fascinating. The river is very smooth so the cruise was too, despite frequent downpours and a bit of gale at supper time. Excellent food - and lots of it - and a really friendly and interesting guide. Our cruise was full with 24 people on it (4 the day before and 2 the next day!) and we were beautifully looked after throughout. Definitely recommend this trip!"Arumdalu: "Lovely place, environment and food"
Without hesitation, the best place to stay in Belitung. The room is very cozy and beautifully designed. The surroundings also increase the holiday mood, which is really relaxing. Last but not least, they provide excellent food.Kenanga Hotel: "Beautiful tranquil oasis in the rice fields"
"The Kenanga in Ubud is a perfect place to stay. We had a room overlooking the beautiful rice fields of the hotel. The gardens are very lovely and the infinity pool is awesome. Breakfast is served a la carte and is delicious (the fruit jam is very tasty...). To get to Ubud Centre there is a free shuttle every hour until 5pm. Afterwards you have to take a taxi for around 40000 Rupiah. An alternative (by daylight) is to walk through the lush rice fields and arrive in the city centre after 1 hour. Carine, the owner is extremely helpful and organized a small private trekking tour with a local guide for us to a remote waterfall. All in all we had a wonderful time in Kenanga and will be back for sure next time we are in Ubud."Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Great Stay!"
"We stayed at Golden Buddha Beach Resort for 3 Nights. The resort is surrounded by great nature and a beautiful, amazing Beach. It‘s very quiet except for all the great animal sound. Wild life nature The staff was very nice and super helpful with everything. Some sun beds on the big beach would have been nice since not every Bungalow is Beach front . Food was ok, small plates. If you need a Break from Thai food the beachbar serves Great Pizza. We definitely recommend this resort!"
