The Tiger’s Eye: "Better with every visit!"
"The Tigers Eye - it's been open now for a while, I wanted to hold off on my review as the first visit I made over a year ago was phenomenal but I wanted to be sure that the high standards would be kept. The chef here, Tim, has such a solid reputation for his creativity and constantly evolving menu which is one of the best elements of The Tigers Eye... you can never exhaust the menu as there is always something new to try! The service is great, other restaurants in town on this level can be very sterile and too formal for my taste but at The Tigers Eye they have created the perfect blend of professional & friendly, I'm a people watcher & have observed the staff operate, they have the experience to gauge a table and can tell the difference between a formal / business meeting & a more relaxed jovial meal... for me that part of The Tigers Eye experience is priceless! The decor is warm & welcoming & the layout gives the option for large groups to sit together. In a nutshell - if you're in Phnom Penh for a short time make sure to drop in, if you're here for a longer period - go and judge for yourself, I'm sure it'll become one of your 'go-to' places to dine!"Heritage Suites Hotel: "Truly remarkable staff from top to bottom!"
"I acquired a two nights stay at the heritage suites through a silent auction in Shanghai. I was unable make it to Cambodia before the expiration date of the room nights. The general manager was cool enough to extend the time frame and after staying I am more grateful to the management than before! Beautiful rooms, affordable and world class food and beverage! But the true highlight our stay was the hotels staff! All were outstanding in both service and attitude. Rathner , the server by the pool was a standout but really all of them truly seemed to care about the guests here. The adventures office staff set us up with a private boat tour, personal driver, helicopter tour. Take their advice on everything!! They are right! The front desk are all pros and made sure all of our needs were met and checking was seamless. I wish I could remember everyone's name but trust me, they are all very good at what they do. The owners of this property have truly been blessed with a Fantastic staff and I will definitely be back to see them again. The temples are beautiful but the people at this property made this trip special for us. Well done!"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Le must sur le lac"
Slow Villas and Spa: "Made our honeymoon memorable"
"We spent 5 days of our honeymoon here and enjoyed every second! The staff were super helpful and friendly, providing detailed maps with places to go and eat - they even packed us a lunchbox for a day trip to Lombok. The room itself is very clean, bed comfy and all amenities great - loved the outdoor shower! Being able to hire bikes is a great idea (although I think this should be a free service). The breakfasts are amazing! So much choice and was delicious (those crepes!), and room service/delivery for those rainy days was handy. Overall we can't fault Slow Villas in any way. I would definitely stay again when visiting Gili Air. Thank you!"Labyrinth: "Fantastic Dining Experience"
Fantastic experience and very unique concept to local Singaporean food. I rang the restaurant 2 days earlier to check on the menu and mentioned we were celebrating my partner's birthday and the restaurant served us a cake with a candle at the end of the meal! That was really unexpected and a very pleasant evening. Thank you JosephAmata Lanna: "Lovely room, friendly staff, & healthy Breakfast"
Traveled with my adult son. Lovely tropical feeling hotel. Pool in the middle of the property. Had 2 beds, a bit firmer then I'm use to, surpricenly slept very well. Friendly staff, great location. Must experience a meal at "Lemon Grass" 5 minute walk. The River Resort: "Perfect Accommodation"
My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights whilst touring through Laos. It has the perfect location being situatyed n the Mekong River. From 5pm to 7pm cocktails are cheaper. The service and the food was excellent. You could even eat down in the garden although a little dark with dim lighting but still very nice.Les Maisons d’Itac: "BEST PLACE EVER! Suite Télémac ❤️"
"It's been a long time since I've been in the Philippines and it was his first time to go for a proper visit (stopped over on the way to Australia back in '99). I wanted to make sure he sees how beautiful the islands are and make him experience local culture and the Filipinos signature hospitality without compromising some luxuries. Boy, oh boy, this place made an impression! Our first time in Cebu coming from an awesome 3 days in Boracay, we thought this place will have to work really hard to impress us. We arrived at the Cebu Mactan airport and was picked up by a friendly ""Kuya"" that we arranged with Sir Bryan. His car was clean and he let us do a bit of shopping at the nearby Savemore supermarket while he waited at the parking lot. I admired his patience. He told us it'll take around 3hours to get to the resort and I thought we were ok with it. I am not a very patient passenger, plus we just came from a tiring flight and barely had time to rest. I kept thinking that I made the wrong decision with booking this property because it was miles and miles (and miles) away from the airport. Eventually, we arrived at the resort late at around 8pm and it was already dark so I was like, ""okay, give it a chance in the morning"". We were lead to our private villa and I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was with our own pool, 3 rooms, a hut and a cabana! Sir Bryan called one of the girls to fix us a meal and it was delicious. I am not kidding, it was. We were the only guests because it was the town fiesta (festival honoring the feast day of their patron saint) and Sir Bryan was worried that guests might not be happy with the noises the parties might cause. I was warned about this beforehand but we were totally ok and were actually planning to join the party. In the morning, we woke up and our jaws dropped after realising how gorgeous the whole property was. Breakfast was unforgettable, especially the fresh mango smoothie/shake (so sweet and not even a grain of sugar was added in it!). On other days we had different fruit shakes and the staff made sure they were all fresh and perfect. The food, as I've mentioned, is simply perfect. Loads of activities around and we were luck enough to join the fluvial parade during the town feast and we had so much fun chasing and trying to get the passengers on the other boat as wet with sea water as we can. We ended up getting back after around an hour soaked, but incredibly happy. We had our first try with stand up paddle-boarding and it was great! People who like their own space and respect other people's will fall in love with this place. The marine sanctuary right in front of this property is a great indicator they care about the earth. It is one of the best holidays and resort I've been to. We left with a heavy heart and wished we could've stayed a bit longer. Will definitely try and visit again if we ever go back to the Philippines."Rachamankha: "Excellent boutique hotel with great service"
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in November at this wonderful hotel and felt totally at home throughout. The ambiance of the hotel was perfect, very peaceful and serene. The whole layout of the building was beautiful with lovely antique Asian furniture, a nice outdoor swimming pool and a cosy library. The library was well stacked with books and also had the benefit of having 2 PC's where we were able to plan our trips and look up local restaurants, even printing out the information we needed on the spot. The bedroom was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and free WiFi was available throughout the building. The hotel was perfectly located, a very close walk from the Old Town. It also had the added benefit (from our perspectives) of being a non-smoking establishment throughout. The service was first class from all the staff and the breakfasts were delicious. The hotel manager Paul Walker was especially helpful and proactive, giving us many useful tips both for our stay in Chiang Mai and also Bangkok. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Chiang Mai as it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay. We will definitely book there again the next time we visit.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfetto"
Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
