Anopura: "A lovely escape"

My mother and I had one of the nicest stays of our trip to India here. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and the location is peaceful.It was a nice break from the frenetic cities of Rajasthan. The accommodation is excellent. The decor is very tasteful. We regretted not being able to stay a second night. The staff are very well trained. They are helpful without being intrusive.

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "My best hotel – nice to come back"

This was my second stay. The staff remembered me and welcomed me again. I felt like I come back to my home. Sophisticated interior, food, flowers, aroma, and especially friendly staff. Everything I love with this hotel was still there. I travel a lot in the world and this is my best hotel.

Villa Song Saigon: "Just what we wanted"

The hotel is situated a little out of the mad rush of HCMC but with the boat shuttle downtown and the pleasant outlook dining on the terrace alongside the river it was a great way to start our holiday. The staff could not have been friendlier or more professional. Their recommendations where to go in the city for money changing etc were spot on. And having an al a carte breakfast of the highest quality was a geat way to start the day. The one dinner we had here was first class and the cocktails were delightful. An indication of the quality of the hotel. It is shutting soon for renovations- the step down to the terrace does need attention- but while thta happens the staff are not laid off but are getting English lessons! And that is only building on an already first class ability to communicate in a foreign language. The attention of the staff to us was a highlight and reason in itself to return -and we shall.

Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "A Foodie Paradise!"

Run - don't walk - to this culinary gem! Tucked away on Soi 7, Blackitch is easy to miss, and but for the recommendation of our Concierge, would never have been on our radar. Thankfully it was. The quirky but inviting dining area only holds three tables, creating a kitchen-table like atmosphere which complements Chef Black's generous and personal approach to cooking for his guests. The 9-course menu changes daily according to the freshest ingredients available that day. Our meal incorporated plants he had foraged at 6 am, deep dark honey he had carried back from Chiang Rai, beef and pork he had fermented for two weeks, and smoked short rice grains collected from the nearby hill tribes. The ice cream was being hand-churned in the gelato lab downstairs when we arrived. Each course is carefully introduced and explained, and as one sips the 2 year-aged plum wine (made by Chef Black of course), it is easy to get lost in the narrative. The food however speaks for itself, as does the warmth and sincerity of our host. A true Chiang Mai "Must"!

Le Calao: "Lovely place, delicious food"

Oh yes, and a great spot, excellent cocktails and perfect service. We’re just back from a wonderful dinner there, and very pleased. We had exclusively Lao food, and loved it. Good luck with the new endeavor.

Locavore: "Awesome"

We went on Wednesday night as my son had a booking but was unable to go.From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional we had the seven coarse menu ,plus complementary dishes at the start and finish.The dishes were full of amazing flavours and looked and tasted exceptional .It was the highlight of food we have had in bali and would highly recommend it as a must do experience,and thank you to all the staff for making it so

Summertime Villa: "Serene getaway for the discerning family"

I was tempted to book 3-4 rooms at a 5 star hotel for our family getaway. Then a good friend of mine suggested that I try Summertime and I am super glad I did. Satri House: "Such a treat!"

It's been more than a year since I stayed here, but this place was so good I still remember it fondly and it definitely deserves a positive review. I visited here by myself for a few days relaxation and R&R - Luang Prabang and Satri House are absolutely perfect for that. Everything about the room was perfect. I loved the bathroom, which is always a good test of whether a hotel is at the top of it's game. The pool was also divine. I would stay here again and again. Will definitely be coming back. Satri House is definitely in my top five Asian hotel experiences!

Dewakan: "A wonderful experience!"

It's my first time trying the modern Malaysian cuisine and it was amazing. Never knew that our local ingredients can be so versatile. Kudos to the chef team for their adventurous experiments. Full of surprises and I did enjoy all the new flavors dancing on my palate. Love the wine and fermented beverages pairing.

The Island Lodge: "Perfect"

"We spent a few wonderful days here after a cruise on the Mekong. We received a warm welcome and brilliant service throughout. We took full advantage of the infinity pool and it was a great place to lounge and read beside. We cycled around the island and noticed that lots of weddings were being celebrated. Our stay coincided with New Years eve and we hugely enjoyed the special dinner served. Don't forget to ask the owner to tell you the story about the Opium related artefacts!"
