Villa Song: "A perfect retreat after the trip"
Our two nights at Villa Song provided a relaxing start to our ambitious trip. The hotel is stylish, airy, comfortable and as lovely as it looks in the photos. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the banks of the river -- delicious, hearty Asian or Western options accompanied by an entertaining view of the boat traffic passing by. The hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating and kind (we had a member of our small group with a foot injury and they switched her to a larger room on the first floor at no extra charge). The showers are outstanding, the amenities top notch and they're generous with the bottled water (and the free minibar). If it was possible to give six stars, I would :)The Apsara Rive Droite: "Classic Modern"
"Well, may not look busy but great menu with fusion of traditional and western influences. Don't be put off by what may appear to be lack of patronage. Staff are well trained and friendly. Try, Fish Cakes, Pumpkin Curry, Buffalo Cheeks (Yummy) etc., Manager, Chris can discuss any special requirements. This is also a highly regarded boutique hotel on the Historic Peninsula over looking the Nam Kahn river. Stayed January 2017"Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Excellent"
A great break away from the city, just 1 hour cocktail cruise on a nice small cruise with great service can leave you very refreshed and love Bangkok even more!Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Barefoot-luxury at it’s finest!"
"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge is an intimate boutique hotel that values personalised experience, above all. It's an institution of tailored adventures and hospitality in Nepal. If only the walls at Tiger Mountain could speak, it'll be of stories within stories of individuals who have been and wrote countless books and tales about Nepal's beauty and serenity. Hands down, the best view from a hotel in Pokhara. Wake up for sunrise and encounter a parallel universe beyond anything you've ever imagined. Truly, a must experience. There is magic in this sanctuary of tranquility that is so healing; it brought me closer to nature, most of all, to myself. The food is exquisite, the simplicity of everything makes moments seem like a painting. If you are looking to book, don't think twice. Spend at least 3 days here, you can thank me later. The staff at TM are the best! It's like walking into a family. I didn't feel like a stranger, it didn't feel like a lodge at all. It was like coming home. Very best, Mr. Raven"Sukoon Houseboat: "Surely this is the best"
"Sukoon means Peace, and this beautiful houseboat stands serene in a quiet part of Dal Lake. Hospitality begins at the jetty, with a transfer on Sukoon's big motor-powered shikara. Furnishings and beds are comfortable, bathrooms have a large tub and a large shower-stall, maintenance and cleanliness are immaculate, service is warm, discreet and highly professional. The sundeck on the roof is perfect for al fesco breakfast and lunch. What more could one want?"Tugu Bali: "Privileged Experience – this is not a hotel, this is a magnificent passion"
I have just returned from a magnificent adventure at Hotel Tugu. I relucantly handed the GM my sword room key as she waved me out the door. I'm not sure what to say, I have travelled to Bali with my grandparents since I was a kid in the 70's and for me the hotel bought back all those fond memories. Tugu is for connecting to the real Bali and I felt privileged to be able to experience it. This is a not a hotel, this is a special place, built by a special man and run by special people. Architecture, culture and history preserved. I felt like I was leaving my second home..... I cannot thank you all enough.Summertime Villa: "Blissfully chilled"
We absolutely loved Summertime and cannot wait to go back. The owners have spent a lifetime delivering amazing holiday experiences in India and it feels like they poured all their learning and experience into creating and running this idyllic house.Cuca: "Fabulous"
Best food and staff . Great interior or watch kitchen working and eat . Very professional went three timesJing’s Residence: "Perfect in every way"
Family of five, had 2 rooms. Was easily the best place we stayed in china. The staff treated us like family, teaching the boys calligraphy, taking the time to teach us about chinese culture. We were truly spoiled. The rooms were impeccable, traditional in style but comfortable and modern. Breakfast was included and delicious - we ate one dinner there and it was our best meal in china. The hotel is inside the pedestrian only area of the town, so we had the hotel pick us up from the train station. Can't sing praises enough of this establishment. A real gem in a gorgeous little town.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "One of our favourite experiences in Sri Lanka"
"We were in Sri Lanka for a month and our overnight safari camp with Leopard Safaris was a real highlight of the whole trip. The accommodation was real luxury camping (glamping) with electricity in the tents including a phone, fan, lighting and torches. The toilet and shower tents were clean, the toilet was a western style one and we had hot water for our evening shower. What a treat! The food was delicious – some of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The staff were excellent and really looked after us. The whole layout of the camp was great with a nice lounge area with drinks and comfortable seating as well as dining area where you could chat to other guests and the staff. We really enjoyed chatting to Saj who was clearly passionate and deeply knowledgable about his work with animals. The safari itself was great fun. We had bad weather while there but still managed to see an array of wildlife including a leopard. We had two game drives during our stay with a ranger and a driver in the car to help us spot wildlife. Excellent experience all round. Thoroughly recommended. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
