Only a 4 day stay,I wish it had been longer.So much to recommend about this hidden gem The rooms are luxurious fantastic bathroom.Only 9 suites and 20 odd staff to look after you swimming pool sunbeds everything cratered for plus the restaurant and food were out of this world. If you get the chance stay here you will not be disappointed . Plus of course it is central to to Ankor Wat and the other numerous temples.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "The boutique resort in Samui"

"We cannot praise this beautiful hotel enough. We were there celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a lovely bottle of prosecco and flowers. They also upgraded us to a lovely bungalow, which was amazing. The staff were so attentive always opening doors for us, bringing out an umbrella when we get out the taxi in the rain; it made us feel very spoilt. It was a little way from the main area for eating in the evenings, around Pub Street, but a tuk tuk was very cheap at only $3. "We actually changed our travel dates to be able to stay at this beautiful hotel in Chiang Mai. We had the good fortune of staying in a 2 Bedroom Suite(#24). The space was large, the amenities very comfortable and the beds.....the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time The hotel is stunning. Don't go in expecting a big business hotel with lots of glass and steel. The hotel is a reflection of Lanna architecture and everything about it is so. Big glass windows with large wooden doors. Huge high ceilings. Tiled roofs. Greenery everywhere, all manicured to perfection. Every corner of this property seems to tell a story. The entire hotel has been curated and the architecture, art, artefacts, furniture all have an air of detail to them The breakfast is alacarte with more than enough options to offer everyone Its not an ideal hotel to come to with kids(we came with 2). its a bit too eclectic for them Would I come back? Beautiful, secluded resort. The hospitality and atmosphere is beyond expectations. We arrived in early afternoon to welcoming arms and were escorted to our villa. We enjoyed the delicious lunch and partook in 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour. When the bar tender discovered I preferred Bacardi Rum to what they offered, he went to a market and purchased it for my next drink! Unbelievable people! The servers gladly held our second round of drinks for after we returned from dinner. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and kind. "This must be my 8 or 9th visit to rachamnkha. It is such a great place to stay. The manager, Paul, is without doubt one of the best hoteliers I have ever met. And the praise doesn't stop with him. The staff are 2nd to none. The rooms are excellent, and the garden setting that the hotel is situated in is an oasis in the city. The breakfast is the best I have ever encountered in many years of travelling, and the lunch and dinner do not disappoint. If you are staying in Chang Mai, stay here. If you are not staying in Chiang Mai , then change your plans and stay here. It's worth the trip. Without doubt, and pound for pound, is the best place you will ever stay in Thailand. I had such a lovely evening at Cuca, such amazing food and incredible value. Attention to detail was next to none and staff were wonderful. I had the tasting menus which was fabulous. Definitely going back next time I am in Bali.
