This is a charming venue with really stunning views over the beautiful lit ponds. Very helpful staff and we all has excellent food. The tamarind duck was excellent along with the mushrooms, vegetables and rice.Heritage Suites: "What a surprise"
"We didn't know where we going to be taken with a bit of a ride to get here on some back streets. As son as walked through the door we were greeted with towels and drinks and felt very much at home. We were upgraded to a better room due to it being low season so very nice. Service was impeccable and the place was spotless. We loved having the pool to come back to and yes we did swim au natural the night the manger dared us to being not many people booked in. :) We also had cocktails this night as she was doing a training for the staff so a very nice evening. The food was awesome could not fault at all. we would totally recommend this place and would happily come back here."Talabgaon Castle: "WOW!"
When we all arrived, everybody said "Oh my God"! This place is really stunning & a great watering hole if you want to get away from it all. There is a camel cart ride to the village & an adjacent school which you can visit - I was invited in but, sad to say, on one spoke English!!! Be aware of lots of mini power cuts, though. English level of staff is poor.Arumdalu: "Unforgettable memory"
"Arumdalu resort is very comfortable resort to stay with the big room and private swimming pool. We can enjoy the private beach for swimming , quite resort, have beautiful scenery and good services. We can enjoy delicious food too in arumdalu restaurant. The worst is only for the light in room, less light .. but they said that it is caused of eco friendly system.. also no signal in there ... over all we enjoyed stay there and will be back again... "A wonderful boutique hotel away from the madness of district 1. The option of a shuttle boat along the river into the heart of the city is a nice touch. Either eating or drinking out on the patio area of a evening with the boats quietly winding their way down the river is a superb setting to while away a few hours with the high rise buildings of the city lit up as your backdrop. Other reviewers have commented on the small portions at breakfast. Whilst we both love our food we did not consider the portions too small. However, as the management have commented the staff I am sure would only be too happy to serve addional helpings if requested. Great staff and great boat. Pretty dishes and nice drinks and food. The only draw back is that it is a bit expensive, especially for extra drinks. But as a single couple, we would go again.. but maybe not with a big group that has different ranges of budgets.MAISONS WAT KOR: "Feel like home place"
"We staid for 2 nights at Maisons Wat Kor with our family and friends and everyone loved their stay. Rooms are good size, very tastefully decorated and clean, the garden is really big and relaxing to walk around. There is a connecting room for families with the kids! The kids loved the pool and little bungalow overlooking lotus pond where they could relax and play. The staff were always helpful and organized trips to town if we wished to do so. Though it was nice just to hang around the place. We also had Spa treatments on request. The restaurant is also a lovely place to eat in the evening. We enjoyed local cuisine and had nice evenings together. The breakfast are included and are also very good. Highly recommended for family trips, romantic stay or just relaxing weekend with friends "Tugu Bali: "Can’t keep the secret"
"My wife and daughters spent a few days at the Tugu in 2015 and could not wait to return again, this time with me. They were right to be so positive. The hotel lives up to all expectations with lovely traditional Balinese style rooms with many novel and attractive features. The exclusive hotel garden provides direct access to the beach and uninterrupted views of the sea and the stunning sunsets. A very short walk along the beach leads to some friendly and pleasant beach bars serving a range of food and drinks. A good tip would be to plan a visit soon as the Canggu area is developing quite quickly as more people discover this lovely section of the west coast. Finally, a word about the staff at Tugu. A very special group of people who work very hard to ensure that the guests have a perfect stay. All in all a very high recommendation for those who do not want to stay in large and impersonal hotels in the more well known Bali tourist areas. "Villa Song: "Villa Song Excels"
It is not at all surprising that former patrons of Villa Song are so enthusiastic about this boutique hotel. It is located in a quiet part of Saigon and has river frontage. The hotel is very well appointed, with friendly staff and very good food. A private (free) water taxi can quickly take you to the heart of Saigon thus avoiding the crazy city traffic. The rooms are large and our bed was very comfortable. My only concern was the steep spiral stair case to the top (3rd) floor bedrooms. This can be a bit of a challenge with those with knee/hip issues, as there is no lift. Do not miss the large swimming pool that is located at the rear of the hotel. If you are wanting a boutique quality hotel in Saigon, then this is it.
