Rachamankha: "Spectacular"
"The four of us decided to splurge a bit on our last four nights on our Southeast Asia tour and reserved a suite at the hotel. Our suite was rooms 24/25 right off the entrance. The suite was spectacular with it's own garden, a very large living area and small kitchen and two large bedrooms with each its own bathroom. We loved the space and it was decorated beautifully. The tub/shower stalls were a bit outdated but everything was clean and worked perfectly although in the other room our friends said the water pressure was poor and they did not have hot water one day. The rooms were incredibly quiet despite the fact that one of the bedrooms had windows facing the front and the parking area. The service was incredible and the staff amazingly helpful even from the pick up at the airport. Lots of helpful info and help in navigating some issues that arose during our stay. The grounds are impeccable and there are lots of little surprises for guests around the property (candies, brandy in the library, etc.) Breakfast was incredible with a great selection of food. The service during breakfast broke down a bit we found due either to language barrier or the fact that multiple people were serving all the tables and therefore sometimes you needed to remind a waiter that you had asked for something or because they didn't write down your order. Nothing serious and is something you encounter all over Asia. The waiters were all very charming and sometimes shy about their English but their English is far superior to my Thai so it all worked! We also ate dinner in their restaurant one evening and it was spectacular and a beautiful setting. There was a Thai instrumentalist that played and with the food all made for a memorable experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel or stay again in the future. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "“This is a must see -a fantastic, wonderfull and different experience”"
Sea Dance Resort: "Quiet Oasis with 5 star service"
A Gem of the island nestled in the Choeng Mon area of Koh Samui with stylish accommodation and excellent friendly customer service. The bungalows are set within well designed, maintained and manicured tropical gardens with a beautiful pool and their signature restaurant 'Sea Salt' serving mouth watering thai dishes beside a secluded almost private beach with some great snorkelling amongst the corals just offshore.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Love it to the bits"
Went to Ubud for our minimoon. And It's our first time staying in a tent! We were surprised that it's actually a real tent! But amazingly, there wasnt any bugs or dust inside the room. And the room also had cool temperature due to natural wind. The view is amazing :) and The breakfast was also good!! And the lunch too, i had pasta there :) the service was also great! And they also provide shuttle bus to the downtown :)Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Our stay"
Worth every penny. Hands down the best food and best service you will have in Nepal. Situated on top of a big hill the lodge boasts views of the Pokhara valley and the imposing Himalaya in the backdrop. Pure luxury and class but never flashy.Tandjung Sari: "Nice surprise"
"We spent three nights in Tandjung Sari. Everything was excellent. The room very nice and confortable, the quality of the food very good. The building is very fascinating and rich of history. The garden beautiful and peaceful. We appreciated the quality of the service. The staff was very nice and friendly with our daughters. The path along the beach is very beautiful and you can enjoy the view in every moment of the day. It was a really nice surprise for us."NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Incredible Experience"
"We visited the Leopard Safari February 2015 while on a long overseas trip to SE Asia-- hence I am posting this a year later! It was a remarkable experience. The camp itself was a pleasure to stay in-the tents and beds comfortable and spotless--a remarkable feat given the rain and mud. We were travelling with a four year old who explored every path and the staff were marvelous help keeping her amused-they were genuine and attentive which we appreciated! The food was memorable and we felt completely catered to--my husband and I prefer food on the spicy side and the chefs certainly delivered! Now for the wildlife: we were extremely lucky--saw leopards every second time we went out (we went out a total of 5 or 6 times) so we would recommend staying at least two nights--we stayed three because we wanted to increase our chances of seeing leopards. In one encounter, we tracked a leopard as it moved around a large watering hole and the guide accurately predicted where it would emerge and you could actually see the animals reacting (giving their warning calls) to the hidden leopard as it moved around the small lake. It was like living a National Geographic episode! The guides are clearly leopard enthusiasts but the number of exotic (to us) birds, reptiles and small game they identified for us made each trip out an experience to remember. The icing on the cake was seeing young leopards playing together only about a car length away from us! The guide generously shared all his high res photos with us; our camp seemed to be in a prime location to access the park; our tour appeared more intimate than others we saw and our guides seemed to be highly respected by the other drivers (who shared tips and sightings freely with us). This really is a first class experience and we would and have recommended Noel's Leopard Safari to anyone travelling to Sri Lanka. "Sandat Glamping Tents: "Blissful retreat"
Sandat is a hidden retreat on the outskirts of Ubud. The design is something very special, tents and lumbungs nestled in hidden away paddy fields and forests. The attention to detail on design is exceptional and the service is superb. We had a few problems with air conditioning but all was forgiven with how much effort the team went to to resolving the issues and making us comfortable. Truly magical and a must visit.Maisons Wat Kor: "Beautiful hidden gem – perfect for a relaxing getaway"
Sadly we only stayed for one night, it is the perfect place to relax especially since it is a little out of town. The Cambodian style villas are cozy with a good range of amenities (just wish they provided some shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms), the pool and pond areas are lovely with all the tropical plants and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the morning sitting on the deck overlooking the lotus flower pond and the afternoon swimming in the pool (surprisingly the water was cool despite the heat). The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. The server went out of his way to cut us fresh coconuts from the tree. Definitely a place to return to for another weekend getaway.Maison Polanka: "A paradize"
Just a word: perfect! An outstanding service, a beautiful place, an excellent food, what else? All is done so that every thing becomes easy (use the hotel's tuc tuc!). Massage is a must do.A place very hard to leave.
