Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent Thai food"
"The Thai food here tastes like the home cook food. There is nothing fancy but very satisfying. The portion served is quite small so we did ordered many dishes for share. We love the pineapple and mussel curry as well as the grilled beef. There is also vegetarian menu for one of our friends so that is another plus. The place is quite busy at dinner time so it is better to book ahead."Glenburn Tea Estate: "Wonderful and timeless"
An unforgettable stay, at 2000 meters above sea level, in cottages dating from the British colonial era, in the heart of a tea plantation ... a delight for the eyes and taste buds ...! Everything is done to satisfy you. Here you can relax while contemplating the Himalayas or participate in multiple and varied activities in an exceptional and timeless. Do not miss a picnic (or even overnight) to camp at the river! With 8 accommodations you will not be faced with the crowd! ... Dinner is traditionally eaten together, candlelight, and theme menus are absolutely amazing! The quality of massages provided on site is exceptional. The staff is totally dedicated, always available and very smiley. After the factory tour (and tasting) you will be unbeatable on tea! A wonderful shop will let you take in your luggage a little of this paradise!Maison Polanka: "5 star done right"
Maison polanka is a 5 star done right. Stylish rooms in an intimate atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The art works and the furnitures in the Khmer house were gorgeous, and it was a class apart from anywhere I have stayed in the region. The room is huge intact and we appreciated the large shower area with lots of rooms for the clothes to be hanged and lots of space for personal belongings. Everything was spotless on arrival, including the common areas. The food was excellent. The hotels location which is just within the city. Yes the road is bumpy but you will find a haven at the end of the pagoda. Thank you to everyone involved in making our stay so pleasant.Villa Song Saigon: "Just perfect"
"Villa song is a little gem of a boutique hotel by the Saigon river away from busy HCMC, which can be reached by free shuttle in under 25 min. It has a pool which is a godsend after a hot day in town. The room was lovely spacious and well appointed from the Nespresso machine, kettle, free mini bar, apple tv remote if you wish to download some stuff... i could go on and on. (...) The personnel was very attentive eager to help always with a smile and well organized, which is a credit to the management team. This was the most perfect way to end our tour of Vietnam, we left on a high note though wishing we had stayed longer. I don't think you will find anything better that this hidden gem"Muang La Lodge: "formidable"
Great room overlooking the river. Magnificent bathroom. Raphael and Mathilde are enough for their guests. high-end kitchen, we feasted. The activities are very interesting, beautiful walks in the forest, great track for minority ethnic groups and the descent of the river Nam Ouh is superb. Dream stay at this property which employs people from surrounding villages.Tugu Malang: "Best hidden gem in Indonesia"
We're currently living in Jakarta, and sometimes you need a little getaway from the Big Durian. Malang is it - and this is the hotel to stay in. I loved everything about this place. The hotel staff are really friendly - arranging early check in and late check out with no problems and playing with my baby. The rooms are gorgeous, really comfortable beds, huge beautiful bathroom with really nice products, and wood floors (great for a crawling baby). The grounds are like a museum with so many places to walk and explore. The hotel is located in a very walkable location and the hotel staff are helpful with recommendations. The restaurant has the best Indonesian food I've had in Indonesia. They'll modify for vegetarians - try the Nasi Campur. The breakfast that's included is also incredible - you can order off the menu and take from the buffet - all included! The coffee is amazing - we took home 2 bags of beans, very reasonably priced. The afternoon tea that's included offers a wonderful selection of Indonesian snacks to try and great tea and coffee. They include a welcome massage of 15 minutes, and we bought a full massage, which was really high quality and totally worth it - and reasonably priced.Inle Princess Resort: "Wow"
The only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for an amazing visit. What a great way to celebrate our son's birthday. I can honestly say the two nights we spent at the Inle Princess R sort were the best two nights sleep I have had for a long, long time. Bliss, beauty and serenity. Highly recommended!Mathis Retreat: "Everything An Ubud Hotel Is In Your Dreams"
"This is the hotel you imagine when you think of staying in Ubud. The view across working rice paddies is amazing as our the rooms, quiet amazing. The infinity pool across the rice paddies, the bean bags by the rice paddies and the general setting are all amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is too far out of town to walk (unless you want a long walk) but a van is run by the hotel every hour and they even made a special journey just for us. The breakfast is amazing, as little or as much as you want from the breakfast selection menu and whatever you have is great. Stay here, you wont regret it."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The most amazing experience"
"O h my goodness! These people know about customer service! Not only the nicest people running this but really smart too. Knew everything about the wildlife so it was a great learning experience and so interesting. The level of detail they have gone into to make this a truly exceptional experience is unbelievable. The food is probably the best I've had in Sri Lanka and that's saying something! The accommodation is clean and so well designed. We were lucky enough to be staying in the beautiful master bedroom tent which is truly exquisite. Showering under the stars in complete privacy and safety is something I will remember forever. Our two teenage sons found this to be an awesome experience and as we know, teenagers can be a tough crowd to please! Sadly, we didn't see any leopards on either of the two drives but we did see plenty of other interesting wildlife. Others we met had seen some leopards on their drives so we were just unlucky and that can't be helped. None the less it was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka without question."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Paradise!"
A bit of a trek to get there, but well worth it. We would certainly like to go back. Luxurious tents, everything was beautifuly clean. People so welcoming, very friendly and good fun. Food was excellent and served in a lovely restaurant. Woke up every morning to see the river, the forest behind and know we were in for a great day. Trips daily if you want to go. Really recomment the waterfall and kayaking around the mangroves.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
