Reverie Siam: "Peace in Pai"

Review by: NomadSooner | Source: Trip Advisor
Reverie Siam Resort provided the peace we were seeking in Pai as it is located away from the tourist fray. All aspects of the property were outstanding, including the beautiful room and friendly staff. Our two meals in the restaurant were phenomenal. We hope to visit again!

GLENBURN TEA ESTATE: "Outstanding"

Review by: SophieGoldCoast | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We stayed 3 nights for a family birthday celebration. We were 5 adults. It was a wonderful respite after travelling the rough roads of Sikkim. I agree with the earlier reviews and experiences and won't repeat the wonderful activities available. We did the walk to the river which we really enjoyed. On arrival (after being met with cool refreshing flannels and homemade lemonade) I lay down on a wooden bench by river and within seconds a lovely man appeared with pillow and large cushion for bench. I enjoyed a snooze while lunch on the barbecue. Wonderful care and our needs were met before we realised we had a need. Lovely lovely people. We chose not to dine communally but enjoyed wonderful candlelit family dinners on the terrace of our bungalow, served by a lovely gentle caring man. The drive into Darjeeling is long, bumpy and slow. I would recommend you don't waste a day of your precious time in Glenburn. Rather spend two nights in Darjeeling before or after Glenburn. We would have liked at least another night in Glenburn. It really is worth the journey in. "

Muang La Lodge: "Unbelievable Paradise"

Review by: haroldsnedcof | Source: Trip Advisor
"Kindness and grace characterize the resort located in what must be as close to paradise in a rural setting as one can get. Thanks to the excellence of the entire resort staff, the location and design of the bungalows, the food and service, you are transported to a new level of appreciation of life. Rui, Raphael, dun and the entire staff are there to insure that your visit is as near perfection as is possible. WE visited The Resort for three nights in February when it was quite cool. No problem as blanket and charcoal fire pots were there to warm us at meals. The trip to local tribal villages showed us a part of Laos that is fast changing. The scenery on the drive was amazing. One day we walked through rice paddies and to a local temple. This is an experience never to be forgotten. You will not find a better place to get a real sense of rural Laos at a resort that combines authenticity and service. It is not only worth the cost but provides an experince for the soul that no amount of money can buy. "

Maison Polanka: "Perfect."

Wonderful stay in the Yellow Room - quite, well appointed and spacious (much bigger than pictured). The owner cobbled together 6 or more properties to create a couple acre paradise. It's plenty close to downtown Siem Reap and down a sleepy side street so it is private and sees no traffic. Breakfast is quality - latte, fresh local fruit, freshly baked bread, eggs any way you like, etc. Toss in helpful staff (arranged tuk tuk to/from temples and car to PP, booked restaurants, even called airline on our behalf to inquire about changing flights), free bikes to tool around in, good library, and relaxing pool with excellent kitchen, and the choice is easy

MesaStila: "Fabulous place, staff and food"

Review by: coco1244 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I could not fault this place and enjoyed every minute of my two night stay. Thank you and I will be back one day sooner than later. The meals were superb and I loved the duck...I loved it all. I went to the spa and fell asleep so don't really know what it was like but falling asleep is a pretty good gauge."

Villa Song Saigon: "Relaxing 2-night stay at boutique"

Review by: sfalbie | Source: Trip Advisor
"We enjoyed our brief stay at VS. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. A bulleted summary: Pros: onsite spa (for such a small hotel), staff, number of guests/rooms, location away from congested and loud central HCMC, food, water taxi (albeit operating times), grounds Constructive feedback: elevator (4 stories), water taxi (limited to 9a-6p from hotel), buffet breakfast (ala carte portions large if want to sample multiple items)"

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Good"

Good service & nice food. I think the portion of the food can reduce a bit, too much for us Would love to recommend it to my friends.

Reverie Siam Pai: "Perfect step back in time with modern amenities"

Review by: Emily L | Source: Trip Advisor
INCREDIBLE. Mountain view room which I thought was wonderful. The room itself is stunning. French doors, decorated just right, huge bathroom with free standing tub. Overall the hotel pulls off it's 'colonial, 20s' vibe just right. ITs not overdone, it's just right. Felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland at times which was so fun. Both pools are great, staff super nice and was gushing over the place the whole time. Didn't want to leave.
