Maison Polanka: "One of our favorite hotels"

Review by: Vxmiran | Source: Trip Advisor
"Maison Polanka is heaven: Wonderful location, close to everything but private and secluded. Four rooms nestled in a gorgeous garden with a fantastic pool, delicious restaurant (don't miss the amok fish and chicken skewers), a cute resident bunny, tea time with yummy baked goods, and a spa with really stellar massages. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be back!"

Muang La Resort: "Relaxing setting, great food and lovely staff"

Review by: Innsy | Source: tripadvisor.com
We spent three days at Muang La resort. We went in the low season so had the resort (10 room resort) to ourselves. We had a river view room (highly recommend) and we could hear the relaxing sounds of the river flowing outside our room. The resort has two elevated hot tubs, using water from the hot natural springs. We enjoyed a Lao massage too.  The resort is set on the river, which is constantly used by the local villagers to fish and bathe.  We organised a couple of excursions once we had arrived. This was probably easy for us to do as we were the only residents.  The food was great. Every night there was a five course set menu based on local Laos cuisine. Breakfasts were great, with tropical fruits, divine home made yoghurt, croissants and scrolls, as well as eggs as you like them. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.  The village of Muang La is a little difficult to get to but worth the effort. I am happy to recommend Muang La.

Chakrabongse Villas: "Beautiful secret"

Review by: Monica P | Source: Trip Advisor
We absolutely loved this place it's so beautiful relaxing boutique villas with magical gardens in the middle of a busy area of Bangkok. Once inside the grounds it's so quiet and private and just wonderful. Staff are very helpful and the manager Mr Omh is a great wealth of knowledge. Breakfast was yummy and a great start for the day. Our room so comfortable and spacious and the pool we used often a perfect relaxing finish. Close to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, flower market and great street food and restaurants. Visit LarbLoi local restaurant above Starbucks at river boat terminal near flower market. Really yummy.

David’s Kitchen: "Memorable experience"

Review by: Christine R | Source: Trip Advisor
The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, the music was vocal jazz and relaxing. The restaurant created a lovely mood, suitable for couples or even families. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. The food was exceptionally delicious. The beef was tender. The dessert was also special. The service was great. No dissapointment for sure.

Inle Princess Resort: "Wonderfully relaxing"

Review by: CathyG69 | Source: Trip Advisor
We felt at home as soon as we arrived at this lovely resort. We had a lake view chalet close to the boat dock but there was no noise disturbance as boats are not allowed to use power engines when approaching the resort. The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. We loved sitting out on the verandah and taking in the lovely views. The resort handicraft centre is great if you want to try your hand at pottery, Shan paper making, weaving or a range of other handicrafts. The food is very good and the service excellent.

Tugu Lombok: "Magical place"

Review by: Fabio M | Source: Trip Advisor
"I remember we arrived at Tugu around 9pm. While checking in two families arrived. They were on the same flight we were from Singapore. Looking all around I exclaimed ""What a beautiful place!""... And the guy next to me replied ""It's a magical place!"" That's what Tugu is. A magical place. It's not a luxury place, it may not be the best hotel you've ever been! But it may very well be an experience you will never forget. We enjoyed the Villa, the different places where we had dinners, the beach, the excursion to the Gili islands and overall we enjoyed the people. Thank you for let us fell so well! "

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A lovely hideaway from the loudness of Bangkok"

Review by: Glen K | Source: tripadvisor.com
"A really special place in Bangkok. Unlike nearly every other hotel there, this is a low rise, colonial style hotel which is super relaxed. Located perfectly for exploring trendy Sukhimvit, you will have a wealth of great places to drink and eat within 15 min walk (again unlike many hotels which are often quite far away any cafe/bar/restaurants) Hotel itself has a real personality, feels like you've stepped into a time-warp back to 'French-indochine' times but is very nicely maintained. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely hard wood flooring, huge windows. Restaurant is good for dinner, breakfast nothing special but fine. Staff very helpful, but never too pushy. In short, it's a very nice, very quiet place to hide away from the noise, smoke and general madness that is Bangkok."

Tugu Lombok: "Unique, thoughtful service in a stunning location"

Review by: JohnCole99 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 3 nights in Tugu and were firstly impressed by the size and beauty of the property. The long stretch of private beach and two pools offer a lot of space and comfy sun loungers. The surrounding area and restaurant/ lobby is beautiful - very authentic and often pays tribute to the Hindu religion and times gone by, but is very charming. The service is excellent - they offer a very personal service and give great advice about hotel activities and the surrounding areas. Elly and Henry in reception are brilliant. The menu is extensive and the food was good. Smoothies and cocktails are excellent. We also enjoyed a private yoga class and massage - both were great and reasonably priced. If you are looking for sun, sea, sand, good food, service, activities - then this is the place! "

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A little slice of heaven in bustling Bangkok"

A small hotel providing 2 and 3 bedroom self catering apartments, appropriate for small families. Very friendly staff and very good service. Located close to shopping facilities and the BTS train services.

Tugu Bali: "Relax in a luxurious, romantic setting"

Review by: sgbuckley2017 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were looking for a more traditional and authentic Balinese experience and Hotel Tugu Bali exceeded our expectations by far. The hotel overlooking Canggu beach is built from temple remains and furnished with the largest collection of Balinese antiques and artworks. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate with large, amazing, comfortable rooms. The food was beautiful at the fine-dining restaurants (this included a Japanese Restaurant, Ji). Each afternoon complimentary 'High-tea' with local and western delicacies was provided which we never missed! The staff were excellent - so friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way. This was exemplified by the Manager, Jenny Bellora. The close proximity of the surf kept my husband very happy each day and I enjoyed the relaxing time spent by the pool. Canggu itself is a new and developing area in Bali and the hotel was within walking distance to lovely shops, restaurants, boutiques and a local market. Room Tip: Rejang Suite (bedroom and verandah). Each evening from the verandah we enjoyed watching the sunset a..."
