Tugu Malang: "Excellent stay"
Stayed 4N. Fantastic all round services, food, location, hotel ambience. Highly reccomend. Travel from Surabaya a/p to Malang not so convenient -by car took us 3 hrs. Return to Surabaya by executive train to Gubeng, city station- no stress 2 hrs.Tugu Malang: "Superb hotel"
"After staying at a different Tugu Hotel in Lombok I decided to stay here while wanting to visit Mount Bromo. The staff and service here as well as food was excellent! Also the Spa if you are a couple go for the couple's option of 4 hour massage treatment as it's well worth it to try out. If you are wanting to visit Mount Bromo the hotel can arrange a private Jeep to take you there and back which is great and the guide and the driver were very helpful and super polite. Certainly make this a consideration if you are visiting Malang. Just to let you know that its around 2.5hrs drive from Surabaya to the hotel which they can arrange for you too."Satri House: "Great place to stay in Laos"
"Satri House in Luangprabang is centrally located. It's a very quaint hotel, first class with lovely rooms and a very, very accommodating staff. Customer service is excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel! Though the hotel is old, all the rooms, courtyards, restaurants, etc. have all the modern conveniences while still retaining the traditional charm. Room Tip: All rooms are good. No elevator due to this being a UNESCO building but staff carries all the lugga."Satri House: "Hotel with history and great attention to details"
"We chose this hotel because of its history, it was the childhood home of the youngest prince of Laos. A good and safe 10-15min walk to riverside and restaurants and bars. Wifi was really good throughout the whole hotel. Gianni the new manager was always around the hotel grounds if you needed any help. Staff here are really helpful; one even helped me mark out some restaurant on the map that we wanted to try. Hotel should try to get a better map done vs using an internet print out. All the staff spoke fairly good English, no issues communicating just speak in simple English and not too fast. 3 staff members stood out for us;Daoluck,Thongdeuan and Chanhtalay Breakfast was made to order no crappy buffet food here.. Homemade jams that came with their toast/croissants were lovely, my fav was the tomato jam. However, their breakfast options could have been a little more flexible. Received a small snack everyday ard 2-4pm. Plenty of bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. 2 different turn down service; one in the morning/early afternoon to make the bed and tidying up and one in the evening to prepare the room for sleeping; mosquito net and even the way they fold the duvet during the evening turn down service is different for the morning service to make it easier for you to climb into bed. Top sheets available on bed(so your body doesn't come in contact with the duvet), not many 4-5star hotels practice this anymore. No ugly mosquito nets here, they have a linen mosquito canopy. Though not necessary, it would have been nice to have plush bedroom slippers as an added luxury that would help make the old wooden floors less slippery. We stayed in a deluxe room, old wooden floors creak a bit so try to get a room on the 2nd floor. No tv in the room unless requested(this definitely helps maintain the old world charm. Vintage pieces all around the hotel, there is so much history! Keep up the great work Satri House! You exceeded expectations! Room Tip: Rooms on 2nd floor away from roads"Sandat Glamping Tents: "Incredible experience"
During the New Year break my boyfriend and I stayed at Sandat Glamping Tents for 2 nights. We currently live in Singapore and although it wasn't our first trip to Bali it was our first visit to Ubud. On arrival we were instantly blown away by what Sandat had to offer. The architecture is just incredible! We stayed in Lumbung Legong and I can honestly say it was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was so much attention to detail and the place was spotlessly clean. Not only is the bedroom spacious and comfortable but you also get a large area downstairs to lounge around in or escape the sun in the afternoons. It is also very private. The bathroom is outside which makes for a wonderful and unique experience. Breakfast was fantastic (and I am very picky!) and we enjoyed a wonderful massage one afternoon by our room. The best thing about the whole experience is that you really feel like you are in paradise. The staff don't disturb you or fuss over you yet they cater for all your needs. It's a small resort therefore you feel extremely well looked after (...) A truly incredible and unique experience. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A Unique and Amazing Hotel – Incredible service!"
"We wanted something a bit special for our stay in Penang and to capture the feel of the culture rather than stay in a plain hotel - simply, this property is amazing. The rooms are fantastic and you really feel like you are stepping into a piece of history! The food was great and there are additional benefits like easy free parking, easy walking access to the sights of georgetown and free tour of the mansion which is one of main tourist attractions on the island. The staff could not have done more, in fact we owe them a HUGE thank you because in our rush to leave the room we left our passports in the hotel safe. We only realised when we were 4 hours south of Penang, we needed to fly on Monday and it was a weekend and there were no courier companies working. The General Manager arranged for one of the staff to drive all the way to us to deliver the passports by 10am on Sunday!!! Unbelievable. 100% recommend staying here if possible or visiting for the tour!"Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Amazingly beautiful place"
Stayed in Rakkojae and found it a very serene and beautiful place.. breakfast was perfect (the traditional breakfast is esp good)... room was clean and spacious though there were a lack of hooks to hang our clothes.. the only problem is walls are paper thin (typical of a traditional lodging) so we could hear almost every single sound that's transpired in this place.. apart from that, service and room were impeccable. :)Tugu Bali: "Tugu Hotel Bali is a luxurious slice of history"
I stayed in a Dedari suite while I was at the Tugu Hotel Bali. I loved having the private plunge pool and outdoor swing daybed. I also quite liked the outdoor bathtub with attached koi pond. However, the hotel decor is what's so amazing here, and it is definitely one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. Everywhere you look there are beautiful antiques and artefacts. It's a living museum. I also took in the Thursday evening cultural dinner which includes a Balinese dance and music performance. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience this is the place to have it.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Lake view"
Relaxing atmosphere in front of the lake and very service.... Enjoyed a great dinner alfresco with high quality foodTugu Malang: "Prachtig hotel met uitstekende voorzieningen en vriendelijk personeel"
