4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "best ever ressourcing"
"truly best ever cool place for the one looking for true nature, calm, meditation, relaxation and especially ressourcing. the whole staff is so nice and looking after you for the best from pick up service to satisfy as much as posible any of your needs Food is very fine considering this remote area with difficult supplies and in large portion to satisfy even big eaters, great wine list as well to enjoy !!!! Remarquable comfort of the tents surely hard to maintain in such surroundings Rare experience to be renewed for sure thanks again to everyone in 4 rivers for such experience and wonderfull stay"Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Bliss a truely unique Boutique Resort"
"A magical tropical resort with amazing personalised service from the wonderful team at Sea Dance Resort. Memorable!.... and we are already planning our next visit! Relaxed and friendly ambience and we loved the overall vibe of the resort, live music (on specific days) and professional service. If you're looking for a place to go to experience a feeling of a personalised high end boutique resort this is the place for you. Sea Salt Restaurant has a menu that will leave you wanting to make sure ensure you try every dish! Unique and fresh and scrumpdelicious! Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic boutique hotel on the river"
"We had 2 rooms and both were great. They are a little small but enough space for luggage. The room was well appointed. Mini bar and breakfast are included and if you are hungry you can have multiple breakfasts. The food was excellent. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and you don't feel like your are in the middle of the city. The staff are attentive and go out of their way to accommodate. We will definitely return. "Glenburn Tea Estate: "Jewel in the Crown"
"My Glenburn experience started in Calcutta where we met up with the owner Husna Tara and her colleagues for an incredibly informative and fun trip round that fascinatingly historical city. It was great to have local knowledge and to be treated to a special Bengali lunch at a private apartment followed by sunset boat trip down the river. A very personal experience quite unlike any other I have had. Then it was up to Glenburn. Yes, the journey is quite long but there is a lovely picnic en route with sandwiches and tea in bone china cups and so much to see on the way that time passes quickly and the final bumpy bit was not as bad as I had feared! Anyway, once you arrive at the beautiful location and are treated to a warm welcome and a cold drink while you get your breath the journey seems insignificant. The rooms are all different and all gorgeous with Indian cottons, lovely lighting, hand embroidered sheets and framed prints. I was shown to a huge suite in the Water Lilly bungalow where I could wallow in a deep bath in the enormous marble tiled ensuite....luxury indeed! Being at Glenburn is not like staying in a hotel, more like staying in the private home of a benevolent host who has thought of everything to make your stay special. From bed tea with homemade biscuits to breakfast on the lawn, lunch under the pomelo tree, drinks round the bonfire and friendly chatty dinners with other guests, it is all a treat. The walk to the river camp is steep but your reward is a fully staffed picnic awaiting you. It is fun just to roam around the tea estate seeing how the villagers live. Will and Faye the delightful onsite managers are willing to help in any way they can to ensure that every whim is catered for. Although there are several activities that can be enjoyed it is just lovely to relax on a lounger admiring the view, go pottering round the gardens, smelling the sweet peas, admiring all the neat vegetable beds and popping into the tempting gift shop! All in all I found the whole experience truly special and quite unique."Chakrabongse Villas: "An oasis in the center of old Bangkok"
"Worth the extra money! AND We got a free upgrade. Beautiful Resort on the river that is a stark contrast to the busy, bustling, 'aeromatic' Bangkok streets! Right across the street from Wat Pho and a 15 minute walk to the Grand Palace. Perfect stay for our 2 days in Bangkok!!! Also served us a delicious breakfast Stayed March 2017"Le Calao: "Superb service, lovely view and delicious dishes."
Can't rate this place highly enough, it was just a perfect evening and that's saying a lot, given how picky I am about service & presentation. Service was attentive and earnest but not overbearing. Food was delicious and well-presented. Wine list was quite sufficient to meet our tastes and the dishes we'd ordered. Finally the view was lovely towards the river, the fairy lights were pretty and the building itself is quite something. We wanted a nice, hassle-free romantic dinner and Le Calao delivered a truly lovely evening.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"
"This is one of my favorite places in the world. As soon as you wade ashore off the long tail boat that drops you off you know your somewhere special. It's a wonderful escape from work, city living and the world. There's nothing to do here but relax. A 10km long beach with pretty much no one on it and beautiful water. Small islands and mangrove swamps to explore by kayak. Beautiful beach homes to kick back in. The option of yoga in the morning and massage any time of day. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"Villa Mathis: "Gorgeous setting, great service"
My stay at Villa Mathis was a great experience, the setting is what I expected of Bali, the Villa was large, clean and comfortable. Excellent service, very accomodating as to my request for vegetarian dinners, actually one of the best I have had.The Hue House: "Good choice, reasonable price"
"We didn't know what to expect - having been recommended by a friend who recently moved to HCM City to work as a teacher but we were very pleasantly surprised! The menu was in both languages and also had photos also! The employees had been extremely patient and useful and also showed us how you can come several of the meals into the Vietnamese like rolls! The portions were huge and also the food was tastey. We experimented with 3 various dishes and also had 2 drinks as well as the cost was extremely reasonable. if you're searching for a geniun Hue cuisine with good price and nice view, this's the very best option."Amata Lanna: "A really nice small hotel"
1st time to chaing mai and this hotel was recommended to us.we were not disappointed only 12 rooms but what lovely rooms, staff polite and we was always met with a smile.breakfast was nice with tables laid out on the patio around the pool.Ideal position for the night market area.
