"I was hesitant as the location is rather far from our base of stay in Yogya but saw the review and decided to try it. I was so glad I did, it’s such as unique and amazing place. Nestled in the middle if coffee plantation and surrounded by 8 mountains. In the morning we walked around the surrounding villages and feel so peaceful, the people are extraordinarily friendly and we feel at home. It’s not cheap at all but the stay was well worth it, I wished I stayed more than 1 night. Will return and stay longer God willing. We stayed in a hillside villa. The villa was lovely with two balconies with amazing sea views and access to the private beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and Ben made sure we had a great experience. The food in the restaurant was good and it has a nice atmosphere in the evening when the day trippers have headed back to KK.. There is also a house band happy to attempt any request you have.. Would definitely recommend a stay here.Flower Island: "Pristine paradise"
"We spent 2 nights at flower island resort and loved every minute! The corals surrounding the island are stunning and thriving with life. We saw a turtle on our first snorkelling just a few metres away from the beach. The visibility is great, around 20-25m and there is plenty of fish. Our cottage had a direct access onto the beach with a beautiful view (especially for sunset). The staff on the island is very friendly, they even prepared a last minute dance show for us on our last evening there. We also had the chance to visit one of the pearl farms nearby, a fascinating industry. This place is a true paradise, we did not want to leave. Luxury food from local grounds. We received 10 snacks before the actual 7 course menue! They chief really managed to surprise us with overall 17 very different tastes. It’s not a place where you go to eat one dish. But it’s the perfect place to experience a huge variety of tastes. We went for our anniversary and were treated amazingly. In addition to the fabulous food we ordered several additional special treats were brought out to our table. "A very gracious, relaxing & peaceful place in My Tho Mekong. Francios had the loveliest of smile that radiated pure happiness. the staff had very good manners and were genteel.cheers Luci you could see the Mekong, setting sun and did not have to walk 1km to rooms. warmth and hospitality radiated through out the place. "I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! Absolutely fabulous!!!!! All the wines were great and the finger food, yum yum. Lamb lollipops, scallops, shrimp and pork. All terrific. The tasting cost 900 tb per person and well worth it. We're going back and have checked out the menu and have picked a 7 course tasting. We figure without wine it will cost 4,000-4,500 tb. Very expensive but we hope worth it. Well deserved reputation, we'll let you know if it's worth the cash. Bon Appetite!Villa Song Saigon: "An oasis of calm amidst the madness of Saigon"
"Yega and his team make every effort to make a stay at the Villa Song a memorable occasion. They are extremely warm, professional and hospitable and the hotel is in a spectacular setting on the banks of the Saigon river. There was a wedding on when we were staying. We were naturally concerned given we had two young children with us and we were worried that the noise would prevent them sleeping. The staff were extremely accommodating however, gave us an excellent recommendation for a dinner location nearby (to which they paid the taxi) and ensured that the noise from the wedding was not excessive. We were keen to eat in the restaurant as we heard great things about the food- however we didn't get the chance because of the wedding... next time, we hope. well worth a stay. "
