Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Excellent service"

Review by: andycoldham | Source: Trip Advisor
"After eating out all week at $10 for two joints along the Taphul Road we decided to splash out on our last night and booked a table at this restaurant. They specialise in tasting menus and offer 6 courses for $31 pp and 5 courses for $27. Wines start at $22 and rise to $100. Two different tasting menus are on offer each night so we opted for one of each so we could taste each others food. The service is immaculate and each course is described in detail before its presented. The portions are not huge but that is to be expected with a tasting menu such as this. The location is not walkable from the town centre so a tut tut is required but it is only $2 each way. As I said its an expensive place by Cambodian standards and not a restaurant you would come to on a daily basis, but its great for a treat. the service is fantastic, the food is out of this world and the premises are awesome.I recommend a visit here at least once , but do book a table as they get full very quickly."

Villa Song: "Delightful hotel away from the crowds"

Review by: travelbyRosie | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a delightful boutique hotel away from the crowds of Ho Chi Minh City but with the benefit of regular speed boat shuttles to take you to the centre of town. The rooms are well appointed with luxurious amenities. The service is fantastic from the very helpful staff. The location is out of the centre of town but it's easy to get into the centre of town and the location on the river is very nice. Also, the local neighborhood has a number of restaurants, shops, tailors etc. The hotel concierge has a great list of activities and tours - all the ones we did we were great. Definitely recommend Villa Song."

Nimmu House: "Unfrogettable experience"

Review by: Boris A | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were therefrom May 12 to 15th 2017. If you like authenticity, hospitality, getting a sense about how live Laddak people, be part of a sustainable way to travel, it is THE place to be. Not a 5* hotel; you have to switch on your hot water boiler! But you will like sleeping and eating in a old, refurbished Laddaki house; seating on the terrasse under the stars and around the fire; enjoying talks with the locals. Food is excellent; and they 'll organize touring, rafting, trekking if you have not. And you will love the warming pan the staff would have put in your bed while having your diner. Just awesome! Refreshing, relaxing, out of time...... and deconnected. Do not expect a regular WiFi internet connection, but this has nothing to do with the lodge management. Local telecoms company issue!!!!"

David’s Kitchen: "Amazing food and friendly staff"

Review by: Bonnie E | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our meal at David's Kitchen was a fantastic experience. David and his staff were very welcoming and David came straight over to introduce himself to us. He told us a little bit about the restaurant and his family and was interested to hear where we had travelled from. The waiters and waitresses were helpful and recommended us options from the menu. The food and wine was absolutely delicious, especially the cheesy gnocchi! Dessert did not disappoint. Although we were full, we couldn't resist the chocolate lava cake and banana crepe! The staff kindly organized us a taxi back to our hotel. We were really glad we made the trip to Davids Kitchen and would highly recommend it when in Chiang Mai! Thank you David and all the staff who made our night so enjoyable!"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Outstanding"

Review by: ludlbk | Source: Trip Advisor
"From arriving at the jetty and throughout our stay everything was just perfect. The rooms are very nice, food at the restaurant delicious and service is very friendly and professional. Guided by the teachers of the Vocational Hospitality School students try to outdo each other. Nearly 50 students attend the school, a wonderful project by the non-profit Inle Heritage Foundation. Proceeds from the hotel, the restaurant, the gift shop are used to offer free education to people from the region and further away, carefully selected by their capacity to meet the demands of the hospitality business. The school is considered a benchmark in the area and beyond, the efforts of the foundation are to be admired. Many thanks to all the staff (Min, Thazin, Naing Win, Ye Wint, just to mention a few who's names we remember) for a wonderful stay. Stayed October 2016, traveled with family"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "“Beautiful resort – well suited for relaxation”"

Review by: Chan S | Source: Trip Advisor
"During our 1800km TukTuk challenge from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, we had a two night stay at the resort. On arrival at the hotel after a tiring rickshaw drive, we were greeted and offered fresh coconut water as welcome drink. We were fortunate to have a rest day at the tranquil resort - far from the madding crowd. The accommodation/bungalows were clean and well furnished. The food was good and staff very friendly, courtious and eager to help. It has a clem beach and swimming in the sea was very enjoyable. It's the place to go to for a quiet, restful and relaxing holiday. We also had a 'thank you' card from the manager before we departed - you don't see this often. We would love to go there again for a longer stay. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Amazing dinner with friends"

Very innovative. I'm impressed by the quality of their ingredients and ideas. This is the best modern Thai restaurant in Thailand. All dishes were executed with great confidence.

Tugu Lombok: "Best ever hotel, would make it 10 stars if I could"

Review by: fabienen29 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is by far the best hotel I have ever visited. First, the settings are absolutely amazing: we spent 4 days there, and were still discovering a piece of art or statue here and there. Our villa was delightful, so are the two pools and restaurant, and the gardens as well as the beach.... absolutely everything is stunning! I took over 300 photos of the grounds, and do not want to delete any. Attention to art and detail is everywhere. Next, customer service was also perfect: from the moment we walked in (and even before as they actually pay attention to nice to have requests at the time of reservation) everybody actually cared about our wellbeing. As an example, our flight was canceled because of a volcano, and hotel manager stayed late at night to make sure we could get a boat to Bali, and booked all taxi for us. Thank you to the full team, I hope we will come back. I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family."

Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent Local Cuisine"

Review by: Jason G | Source: Trip Advisor
Great restaurant offering local cuisine in a comfortable & stylish environment. Easy walk from several hotels. We arrived without a reservation & a table was quickly found for us despite it being busy. The service was good & fairly prompt. The menu has a nice variety of meat, fish & veg options. A great choice & good evening.

Slow Villas and Spa: "An absolute treatment"

Review by: AnthonyThevenoux | Source: Trip Advisor
"Staying at Slow Villas is such an experience ! I've been lucky enough to spend a few days there - and that was definitely too short. The villas are beautiful, solid construction, tastefully decorated, spacious, clean. The open air bathroom is beautiful, and the private swimming pool just in front of the bedroom is great, and even I didn't think it was really useful at Gili Air (the sea is less than 10 minutes away along a cute pathway), it's nice to cool off a bit that easily. Plus, breakfasts are awesome ! And the spa, God ! Clean, spacious rooms, a great choice of treatments to choose from, a professional service that considers your expectations and level of habit in massage, people are treating you with such a sweet care and a good professionalism at the same time, such a treatment ! The staff is so lovely as well, from Julie to her partners and all the team working on making you have such a great experience. No hesitation here : if you can afford it, even for 2 days, that will stay engraved in your memory for a loooong time ! Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"
