Tugu Malang: "Amazing and they know what GF means!"

Review by: thefoodchannel | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!

Maison Polanka: "A pleasure to stay there"

Review by: daverowly | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a wonderful hotel with only 5 rooms set in a beautiful garden in a secluded road in Siem Reap. We were there for three nights and were treated superbly by all the staff. Nothing was too much for them. If we wanted breakfast in our room at 06:30 because we were being picked up at 07:00, as was the case on two mornings, it was there. When we used the swimming pool one afternoon we were provided with tea and snacks. I can honestly say we were treated wonderfully well everywhere we stayed on our tour of Vietnam and Cambodia but Maison Polanka was a cut above. The food was very good and our room was beautifully kept. We can honestly recommend Maison Polanka to anyone who is looking to stay in Siem Reap and wants a unique experience.

Tugu Lombok: "Amazing relaxing resort"

Review by: TenbyWill | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here for five nights and I would gladly have stayed longer. The resort itself is well spaced out and feels very private even when almost full to capacity. The rooms are excellent and well tended to by room service. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the manager of the restaurant and Elly (I hope I have that right) who I think was a general manager. They were all very helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with everything. The food was always great and well presented. I would recommend dining on the beach at least once as it was lovely. The house reef was we'll worth a snorkel and the pool was lovely and quiet. This was a perfect start to our holiday and the perfect place to recover from hectic lives and jet lag! My only minor gripe would be that sometimes the music at the restaurant could be a little too energetic, especially in the mornings. Only once or twice from the five days. Overall this hotel was just what we wanted and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quite place to escape for a few days!"

David’s Kitchen: "Wine tasting and apps to match each"

Review by: Dave M | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolutely fabulous!!!!! All the wines were great and the finger food, yum yum. Lamb lollipops, scallops, shrimp and pork. All terrific. The tasting cost 900 tb per person and well worth it. We're going back and have checked out the menu and have picked a 7 course tasting. We figure without wine it will cost 4,000-4,500 tb. Very expensive but we hope worth it. Well deserved reputation, we'll let you know if it's worth the cash. Bon Appetite!

Villa Song: "We would come back"

Review by: Njviews | Source: Trip Advisor
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Song. This is a smaller, boutique type hotel, which was exactly what we wanted. It just felt so much more intimate and personal and yet still had all the amenities you could want. Wonderful well appointed rooms . I’ll admit that we were lucky enough to have a suite, which was simply stunning (thank you Villa Song). But the children’s room was still quite lovely and we would have been happy with that (although we declined to swap with them). We loved the setting - dining down by the river was lovely and you are a short walk / taxi from other great places to eat in the area. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet, but there is more than enough choice. We were here towards the end of our trip and frankly we were over wandering around at breakfast buffets. Nice pool and gym. For us, this was exactly what we wanted and a nice change from the larger chains and resorts "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Excellent Culinary Experience"

Review by: Renato B | Source: Trip Advisor
"I have been to Seeds a couple of times over the past few months. It is great to see and feel how the team is growing in experience and professionalism. The Service is very pleasant and attentive, with a good knowledge of the product they are serving. The dishes presented were very innovative and well presented. Fine-tuned culinary creations of high international standard, at times with a slight local twist in flavor! A great culinary experience at the shores of the Inya Lake."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Heritage and cultural luxury"

Review by: NormDC | Source: Trip Advisor
"Built around 1840 and now providing public accommodation, this is the luxury with character missing in today's 5 (or more) star hotels. From the old fashioned door key to the huge rooms furnished to transport you back in time, the centre open courtyard with photos of those from the past or the 'day beds' along the courtyard wings to relax in, this is 'what's old is new again'. The bathroom and shower facilities are modern 'western' but still set in the decor of yesteryear. Breakfast à la cart can be a little slow but gives time to relax, enjoy the ambience and enjoy the many self serve offerings. Located in the old town area, further history and the delights of Georgetown are just out the gate"

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Boutique hotel in Sukhumvit"

Review by: StephWills | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We stayed in Cabochon in July this year and were blown away by this beautiful small hotel. We were unsure if we would like Bangkok but ended up loving it. I'm sure a large part of this was down to Cabochon. Firstly, it is an excellent area of town to stay. It is a 5-10 minute safe walk to a BTS station which takes you quickly to the hustle of town. Plus, it's incredible air con makes it a pleasure to travel on. Sukhumvit itself is also a lovely area where we always felt safe and there were tons of great places to eat. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and you wouldn't believe you were in the centre of busy Bangkok! Firstly, it is so quiet. It is also beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The room is a good size with an excellent bathroom. Also loved the free fruit and soft drinks in the mini bar! They have an excellent (but very spicy!) on site and breakfasts are both buffet and a la carte for no extra cost. Amazing French toast! If I was going back to Bangkok I wouldn't even consider anywhere else. Many thanks to the staff who were outstanding throughout. "
