Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heaven on Earth"
"This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, peace and tranquillity by the Arabian Sea, heaven on earth. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in a lovely cottage called Shanti overlooking the sea, attention to detail was of the highest standard, everything was perfect. There are just 12 cottages which make it very special. The spa was the best we have ever been too, we had a Shirodhara massage, amazing... we were rejuvenated and calmed. Breakfast was at the beach restaurant, (food was of the highest standard) after early morning yoga, what a beautiful way to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Neeleshwar, and hope to return again. "The River Resort: "Superbe !
We always stay in Tugu Hotel overtime we visit Bali, Lombok, and Malang. Its belong to an amazing indonesian family who had done so much to make this place super special, the history, the art, the decoration, the management , the food and love. we feel like home overtime we are back to this place, as they always remember you and makes you feel so comfortable without feeling odd. the pick us up with the best driver who provided us with baby seater, fruits and water in the car. every details is manners in Tugu. Its in-front of the black sandy beach where they provide, sunbathing chairs, and bed with umbrellas and towels , security always there to help. at night its so beautiful with the lights , candles, and good food/drinks. If you ever visit Jakarta you have to go to their amazing restaurant Lara Djongrang, and some others. We thanks Lucien and entire family and crew for your hospitality and we are the biggest fans of Tugu. highly recommended.Mie Cafe: "Casual dining but very good food"
"We made a reservation via their website for Saturday lunch at 1.30pm. The restaurant had many available tables when we arrived. The 3 of us had a good mix of starters and main course and Mango Mojito which was very tasty. Please see my photos for all the delicious foods we had. The bill was very reasonable and we only spent USD59 in total. A definite must go to to dine place"Satri House: "Such attention to detail"
Fabulous hotel, charming, immaculate throughout. Loved the landscaping, gardens, artwork and superbly comfortable bedrooms. Great base to explore one of SE Asia’s most delightful towns. The restaurant serves excellent food with friendly staff.Misool Eco Resort: "Most incredible scuba diving"
"Where to start!!! Misool is truly unique! You arrive on a fast launch, to a wonderful tropical island, you are greeted on the jetty by all the waving friend staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The island is set up wonderfully for scuba divers, fully equipped dive centre with nitrox that is free to qualified divers, you can hire equipment or take your own. A dedicated area is available for you to work on your camera equipment. You could do 4 dives a day if you wish too. Dive sites are accessed by fast boats, many sites are only 15 minutes away or less. All dive sites are wonderful! The corals are in pristine condition from down deep right to the surface. The fish life in variety and quantity is truly amazing! The Maldives 35 years ago was fantastic, Misool today even beats that NOW!!!! Why? The team at Misool and their wonderful Rangers and their Charity have a huge No Take zone and this is paramount in protecting the area. You can stay in a very comfortable water bungalow, near the dive centre and restaurant or you can stay in a very secluded bungalows on the south beach. These are accessed by steep steps up and down over the hill. A boat taxi is available at certain tide states. Meals are extremely healthy using lots of local ingredients. I found that for me the strong Indonesian influence was not always to my taste. It is hard to fault Misool! I consider a stay there is A TRIP of a LIFE TIME !!! May Misool go from strength to strength!!!! Stayed February 2017, traveled solo"Maison Polanka: "Sublime. The perfect balance in every respect"
Maison Polonka blew me and my friends away. Very rarely do you walk away from a hotel stay speechless at the friendliness, the serenity, the service, and the ability to go above and beyond. From the gardens to the pool, as well as the stunning rooms, Maison Poloka has nailed it. But beyond that, the service was extraordinary, from the first pick up, through to helping get a flight delayed so we would not miss it (!!). Yes, that happened. Attentive without being smothering; friendly and absolutely genuine. I would normally keep such a place a secret, for fear of it getting swamped and me never being able to stay there again - but when it's this good the world needs to know about it and they deserve every booking they get.The Cabochon Hotel: "Had a wonderful stay"
Rooms were cozy and sophisticated. All the staff were so kind and food was good. I liked small details such as green, the view from window, teacups, and aroma. I had a wonderful stay here. I would like to come back to this hotel when I visit Bangkok again.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Free & Ease to Penang"
My friend & I had enjoyed to stay at The Blue Mansion. Staff are helpful & friendly, hotel room is big and comfortable and you can place order for your breakfast. For Dinner, you can walk to Red Garden Food Centre next door, there are wide ranges of food for your selections.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Worth The Effort"
"I considered whether to score 4 or 5 for a couple of days and despite a couple of criticisms decided it was worthy of a 5 rating. First things first - it is unsignposted and extremely difficult to find. Even locals seem unaware of it and unable to help with directions. The Manager, Bryan, explained that they try and keep it exclusive. I think they are taking this exclusivity too far. There were only two of the beautiful chalets occupied during our stay. This place deserves to be fully booked every day of every week. One nagging question I was left with was whether the (French?) owners wanted to sacrifice custom for this quiet exclusivity or if it was really Bryan who didn't want the place busy! But lets look at the accomodation. Stunning and superb. It was so relaxing. Each chalet / villa had a good-sized private pool with views to die for. The resort would be ideal for two or more familes to get away and spend a great time together. Dinner was effectively take it or leave it with only two choices, however it tasted wonderful. I will definitely go back for a long weekend when I get the chance. Loved the place."
