Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Blue Mansion – Penang History"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Membe | Source: Trip Advisor
"The 'Blue Mansion' as it is called as it's Blue is a piece of Penang history that you should visit whilst in Penang. A guided tour of the mansion tells the story of Cheong Fat Tze who originally built the mansion and the great detail and care in the architectural process. Tours are in English 3x day and go for about 1hr, but you should arrive at least 10-15min before the tour times as the gate closes until next tour. Toilets are located within the mansion grounds near the exit. Stayed January 2017, traveled solo"

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A lovely hideaway from the loudness of Bangkok"

Review by: Glen K | Source: tripadvisor.com
"A really special place in Bangkok. Unlike nearly every other hotel there, this is a low rise, colonial style hotel which is super relaxed. Located perfectly for exploring trendy Sukhimvit, you will have a wealth of great places to drink and eat within 15 min walk (again unlike many hotels which are often quite far away any cafe/bar/restaurants) Hotel itself has a real personality, feels like you've stepped into a time-warp back to 'French-indochine' times but is very nicely maintained. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely hard wood flooring, huge windows. Restaurant is good for dinner, breakfast nothing special but fine. Staff very helpful, but never too pushy. In short, it's a very nice, very quiet place to hide away from the noise, smoke and general madness that is Bangkok."

Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing stay in private pool villas"

Review by: Erika T | Source: Trip Advisor
"The peace in the peaceful Gili Air. We really enjoyed our time in the private pool, the breakfast ""at home"" and the attention to simple details (from the furniture to the kitchen appliances). It was the well-deserved relax after 2 weeks of rumbling around Bali, Lombok and the Gilis. Only remark, it is almost in the center of the island, you have to bike to get to the coast (bikes are avaiable for rent) and at night it is pretty dark."

THE ISLAND LODGE: "The one that the Mekong Delta has been waiting for"

Review by: WorldCosmonaut | Source: tripadvisor.com
"The big bridge in My Tho opened the island of Thoi Soi to the world 8 years ago. Michel and Francoise has build a sanctuary at the end of this island. This should give the comfort and care to travellers to the Mekong Delta. Owners are very responsive and timely in their email correspondence making pre arranging things very smooth. The Island Lodge can arrange for pick up and drop off in Saigon. The two hour journey is pretty easy and brought us to The Island Lodge in good time. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too difficult. The pool and breakfast are amazing it's almost feels like you are in someone's house as a guest. Be warned the property is isolated and My Tho is accessible by boat or car (both can be arranged with Michel). Ton their in house driver is wonderful and speaks good English. Nice to have a cheerful driver taking us on the linger journeys. The local river, bicycle and floating markets are all activities if you care to leave the property, otherwise we relaxed by the pool and had some wonderful dinners in the main restaurant. Food options are French or Asian with an excellent wine selection. We can't wait to return. "

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Amazingly beautiful place"

Review by: Esther N | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed in Rakkojae and found it a very serene and beautiful place.. breakfast was perfect (the traditional breakfast is esp good)... room was clean and spacious though there were a lack of hooks to hang our clothes.. the only problem is walls are paper thin (typical of a traditional lodging) so we could hear almost every single sound that's transpired in this place.. apart from that, service and room were impeccable. :)

Villa Song Saigon: "Great Villa Song Sai Gon"

Review by: bkt7 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Villa Song SaiGon set up nearby the waterfront was a great and beautiful spot on SaiGon river. This villa has a very nice pool which is long and large enough to go swim and relaxing. My daughter and my wife loved it. We had great time being with the whole family on vacation. My daughter is 8 years old said she loved the pool very much where she was able to learn how to swim. We had a raining swimming day in the pool that we had never had before. What a Nice and great memory we had ! The restaurant facing right on the river which gave a very cooling breezing. Dinner was great. The F&B manager was very nice guy. Breakfast is OK with a la cart food choice. Receptionist were very welcoming ! Bellmen were good who took care our family well. This villa has scheduled shuttle boat on Saigon River where you can view the city at the sunset and nightlight city when in dark.

Review by: Clody A | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is just incredible, after years of searching in Thailand, this is the hidden gem, paradise that I have been looking for. The island is incredible. The hotel is so well run, clean, amazing food and a fantastic yoga teacher. We just had the best time.

Mie Cafe: "The best meal i had on this trip of close to one month"

Review by: nerouc | Source: Trip Advisor
The chef is very proud of what he makes and we were not disappointed. I ordered scallops ceviche and oxtail.. both delicious. I wanted to go back and order the dish with red ants but could not manage to go back there, I go to Cambodia every year and try to go there every time. My guest were also very happy with what they ordered.

THE SAMAR: "The Samar Villa & Spa Resort"

Review by: vwg0lf | Source: Trip Advisor
I highly recommend this delightful boutique hotel in Siem Reap. The staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. We received good advice with regard to visiting the historic sites from the General Manager Bertrand and arrangements were put in place to make it very easy for us to make the most of our time there yet we were still able to fully enjoy our stay. Situated near to Angkor Wat and the center of town yet peaceful and quiet within the bounds of the hotel. A clean and pleasant swimming pool. We were served a very generous breakfast. All the meals we ate at the Hotel were well presented and very tasty with dishes on the menu to suit all palates.

Tugu Malang: "Visit Malang-Banyuwangi between 2 venues"

Review by: Hely T | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hotel is well located at a big roundabout with a monument in the center. The rooms are very nice decorated, with a nice flower arrangement and fruit platter. The amenities are environment friendly packed by recycled paper. The staff are very friendly from the receptionist till the room attendants. Breakfast is also well served from fresh fruit till home made bread, jam and Indonesian food. On top of all, they serve everyday during teatime complimentary goodies and tea/coffee. They have also a huge collection of antiques that you can walk through or guided tour is also available on request. Will definitely come back to this hotel when visit Malang again"
