Rachamankha: "Absolutely perfect"
"This is a beautiful, wonderful oasis. Every single detail has been thought through in this serene, beautiful place. It whispers luxury, but - as a welcome change - doesn't shout it. I want to package it all up, and take it home! We lived in China for many, many years, and being here felt like coming 'home', only better. The Rachamankha has the ambience of a very old Chinese courtyard home/hotel, but with the convenience of a new one. I thought it WAS old, but learned that it was built in only 2004! The ornamentation (spectacular screen doors, statuary in every courtyard) is all old, though. And stunningly beautiful. You will also see a smattering of gorgeous Thai antiques adorning the walls and public areas. Don't miss the library. Or the pool. Or the outdoor, covered 'lobby' lounge area. The only disappointing thing about this lovely spot is that you have to leave it to explore the many attractions of Chiang Mai. But they're all close, and you've got this oasis to return to at the end of your day. Oh, and (I almost forgot to mention, because it really goes without saying) the service is wonderful -- unobtrusive, attentive, and friendly. Sigh. We're checking out this morning..... Enjoy!"Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful colonial boutique hotel"
Stayed here for business and then my husband joined. In district 2 away from the hub bub but still close to everything. Walking distance to great food and a short ride to the center. The hotel is on the river and you will start your day with a lovely made to order breakfast outside with a view. The hotel anticipates your every need and is beautiful inside and out. Would definitely stay again.tugu lombok: "A magical place with beauty in every step."
"The hotel is beautiful, with lot of different areas to explore, relax and even work. All the areas are decorated with elegance, full of art objects. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was amazing with open air area. The hotel staff is very kind, you feel pampered every minute. "Mie Cafe: "Fabulous food – speciality vegan taster menu"
"We were recommended this by the chef at Cusine Wat Damnak and were not at all disappointed. We selected the vegan menu as it sounded really interesting and found it to be absolutely delicious....definitely worth having even if you are not vegan. The Samlor kary was superb and the chocolate lychee desert truly fabulous. Another fabulous meal - great way to end our holiday"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Wonderful stay at Cheong Fatt Tze / Blue Mansion"
"Over the recent Easter long weekend, we decided to take a break in Penang. We picked the Blue Mansion, indigo blue coloured heritage hotel with only 18 rooms after learning about its history and seen some pictures. From the outside, the heritage hotel is hidden behind a high wall so only the roof and part of the building were visible from outside. The hotel also conducts a tour of the hotel, sharing the history as well as the challenging task of restoring the hotel when it was bought over following the death of the last son of the original owner. Hotel guests gets to join the tour for free. We were very fortunate to join the tour on the day that Loh-Lim Lin Lee, current owner of the hotel, was leading the tour. She only does it on Friday at 11am and 2pm. She was a wonderful story teller, sharing about the unique architecture, origins of the materials used in the construction such as colourful history. Beautifully restored with rooms that are a mixed of modern and traditional. We even have a jacuzzi in our bathroom! Highly recommend for a different experience from conventional hotel stay. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Fantastic stay"
"Had a beautiful second floor room, facing the river with a balcony. Location was perfect (little bit quieter part of town but easy to walk everywhere). Comfortable room, comfortable hotel, great for a relaxing vacation. Really enjoyed all interaction with all staff, everyone was helpful and welcoming. Included breakfast was delicious, ample free water was provided. We had a couple of yummy meals in the restaurant. Highly recommend staying here. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "Don’t miss the chance to experience this place"
After 10 days of touring in Bali we finally landed at the Tugu. In hindsight I wish we could have spent even more days here. The service was unbelievable, the food was delicious, and the lawn near the beach was just perfection. We can't wait to go back!Rachamankha: "Absolutely stunning"
"This is a relatively new hotel built in traditional Thai style. It is beautiful - everything about it is beautiful, the architecture, the furniture, the fittings, the ornaments, the swimming pool. Best of all is its location - easily accessible to the main temples in Chiang Mai and within walking distance of the main shopping streets. A small hotel , with friendly staff and comfortable beds. try it - I am sure you cannot fail to be impressed!"Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Great Experience!"
