Manda De Laos: "Beautiful in the evening"

Review by: Sander N | Source: Trip Advisor
We were lucky enough there was a table for two. Food was good and the atmosphere was super strong with the beautiful pond and flowers at the centre. Also the staff were on point and took good care of us!

Inle Princess Resort: "Perfect"

Review by: eliza725 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We can entirely recommend this resort - in fact I can't think of a single criticism (except that wifi could be better, but that is true of everywhere in Myanmar. Give it time) The setting is lovely - the hotel insists that all boats arrive rowed with their motors off to keep the tranquility, which also means there is lovely bird life to observe. Food is delicious - and you can see their carefully tended organic vegetable garden. There are lots of little touches that make a difference - the personal welcome note on handmade paper, the mosquito repellant at dinner, the bikes, the little appetiser at dinner.... They say they are conscious of conservation and we saw evidence of that. plus the staff here seem genuinely happy Genuinely recommend."

Reverie Siam: "Fabulous honeymoon stay"

Review by: Frankie51uk | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. The hotel has been opened less than a year and feels immaculate. There are so many positives about this place. The design of the hotel and gardens, the very conscientious staff that make you feel special, the high quality finish of the rooms and the superb breakfasts. The hotel is not crowded and so the swimming pool area is very private we often had the pool entirely to ourselves. A nice touch was a free glass of wine or bubbly during some of our evening meals. There was live music on 3 nights of the five we stayed which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic chef board one evening in the restaurant which was delicious. The only thing that would make this hotel even better would perhaps be spa or massage treatments. There aren't fantastic spas in the area and as the hotel has such pretty gardens that would have been lovely. A wonderful hotel, stay here you won't regret it!

Villa Song Saigon: "Peace in Siagon"

Review by: PDPC | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife found this Boutique Hotel in a slightly out of the way spot, which ment we had peace quiet and a quality accomodation package, all within a 5 minute private speed boat trip to the centre of the city... what a winning combination. We loved it.

The Cabochon Hotel: "The Friendliest place in BKK"

Review by: Malin E | Source: Trip Advisor
I do not have enough words for how much I liked this hotel. I was traveling alone with a 10 month old baby (something that can be a bit hard from time to time as you have noone to share the work with). At Cabochon we had a great shelter to return to from the busy streets. Even though I love the whole style of this hotel I still think that the team is what makes it really really special. They are genuine friendly and independent and cared so much for us. Everyone is child friendly. I was able to arrange babysitting with them to go to a spa one evening. On top of this they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel which I can highly recommend. Since everyone wanted to play with my son I was also able to enjoy a peaceful dinner on my own which was quite nice. Breakfast is a treat and you can choose from a selection of breakfast types. We enjoyed an asian breakfast and it was my favourite on this journey. Apart from this the hotel is just beautiful and has a calm and cool colonial flair in the middle of the hot and dirty city. We enjoyed our stay at Cabochon so much that I can not praise this hotel enough!

Inle Princess Resort: "Like being in a fairytale"

Review by: Marcolette A | Source: Trip Advisor
"We got here by taxi from the airport, in which case the first impression wasn't very good as we arrived in what would be the loading Bay Area. The other way would be to get taxi to the lake and then finish the last leg of the journey by boat. It's an hour away by car and if you negotiate your return you can bring it down to 35,000 going and same back. If you book from the hotel it's about double the price. Once we were taken to reception we forgot our first impression - we were given a nice cold towel, some ice tea and all our bags were taken away from us. We were shown to our 'rooms' - they are huge, with a sofa area a free standing bath and an outside shower. we stayed in a garden view - so we had a porch with deck chairs overlooking a big water lily pond. Mini bar was free and water and fruit was replenished twice a day. Our day trip on the lake was organised beautifully by the hotel - $43 for the boat - chairs on the boat were really comfortable, blankets, water and umbrellas all provided. We liked this place so much that we only got out for the day trip - the rest of the time we spent enjoying the pool and the porch in our rooms, the bar and the restaurant - which are all great. Tip - the mosquito curtain around the bed is there for a reason, without you'll be bitten all night. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"

Tugu Bali: "Amazing start to Bali trip"

Review by: RZ_in_SD | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent four nights in Hotel Tugu and loved every moment. The service was exceptional--unfailingly friendly, on point, and accommodating. Highlights included: taking a surf lesson (the beach is just outside the hotel doorstep); eating breakfast including lattes, fruit smoothies, and a mix of western and Indonesian / Balinese dishes out on the patio overlooking the ocean; enjoying the beautiful ocean view & private bath in our Rejang Suite; the cooking class + market visit; and cooling off in the beautiful pool. One downside is that Canggu is somewhat hard to access. We found it impossible to request an Uber in the area, or even a Bluebird taxi, as the local taxi cartel seemed to have intimidated them and we were only offered to be picked up a few blocks away. In the hot & humid weather carrying luggage around is more unpleasant than it would otherwise be. But if you have your own hired driver and/or feel comfortable using the locals / drivers procured through the hotel, then this isn't a problem. There is enough to do within walking distance of Hotel Tugu--not to mention enough things going on at the hotel itself--that I would recommend it without hesitation if you are looking for a beautiful hotel on the ocean with some nice cultural touches included."

Mie Cafe: "Charming, Delicious and Pretty"

Review by: ellenozeri | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a wonderful dinner here. Glad we made reservations as people were turned away. I had the vegetarian price fixe. It was perfect. Nice flavors and charming setting. we sat outside and could still see the prep work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend.

David’s Kitchen: "Memorable evening"

Review by: williamb077 | Source: Trip Advisor
Three of us had an exceptional dinner at David's Kitchen where the service was superb, the meals delicious and the evening one which we will long remember. The warm and personal welcome we received from David was the beginning of a wonderful time. The menu was extensive and everything looked so appetizing that we couldn't decide what to choose. But the lamb shank, pork loin and pumpkin soup were done beautifully and served by an attentive, friendly staff. We look forward to going back when we are in Chiang Mai again. Highly recommended indeed.

Reverie Siam Pai: "Luxury stay at Pai"

Review by: Kevin V | Source: Trip Advisor
"This property is really astonishing. Very beautiful and fully equipped room, luxury restaurant and 2 nice pools. A shuttle (some sort of Rolls Royce golf caddy) from the hotel picks you up and drops you off again at the bus station. The shuttle drives you to town every 30 mins. Reception ladies really helpful and friendly. Only thing that was a bit less: the cocktails were rather expensive and more ice then Cocktail. The hotel has some home infused gins, so we had to try that one out. But after one, we called it a day. Too much Baht for that amount of drink. I guess its a bit a normal standard in this kind of luxury hotels. But that is really the only downside I can think of."
