Tugu Bali: "Truly immersive Balinese gem"
Tugu is surely among the most incredible, moody hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel and rooms are designed with a unique blend ethnic & traditional luxury from another era. We stayed at the Rajang suite with a sea view. The Room featured an enormous elevated bed that made us feel like part of the local royalty. We absolutely loved the food and taking our breakfasts in the covered daybed in the garden facing the waves and surfers going on their favorite activity. Perfect place for a romantic holiday. We will definitely go back.MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Wonderful get away in central Java"
This is a wonderful resort set in the middle of a coffee plantation. A cool respite from the heat of Yogyakarta, the service in this resort is first rate, from the front desk to the restaurant etc. My wife indicated that the massage she received in the spa was one of the best she has ever had. The breakfasts were fabulous, the views awe-inspiring, and the arrange tour to the Borobudur temple was excellent. My only negative is that the fitness equipment was really second rate and not operational when I was there. But everything else was great!Rachamankha: "Secret Escape"
"I stayed at the Rachmankha last year and was very impressed. At the end of my stay we decided to enquire about booking the hotel to celebrate my partners birthday for November this year. Since then we have had a lot of email exchange with Wanida. She is always very accommodating and helpful and very quick in responding - we knew we were in good hands. Let me start with the cons of the hotel. It is not a brand new property and some hardware (especially bedroom and bathroom in superior rooms) could benefit from a renovation; the service by the pool could also be a problem sometimes due to language barrier. However those are the only improvement I could think of. The hotel is tucked away on the West side of the old town. It's so peaceful and quiet but you can also walk to any part of the old town easily. Being a small property it has a very intimate and cozy feel to it, and the public area is just stunning - beautiful pool, stunning public lounge and garden and great flower arrangement in the restaurant. Breakfast is a highlight. They had some simple buffet spread of juices, cold cut, bread, yoghurt and fruit, and you can order two items from the a la carte menu. It was a very relaxing experience to have breakfast in the sunny courtyard to start the day. We also had dinners at the hotel. Again the courtyard provides a great set up for a romantic evening thanks to the local Thai music (live instrument) and the decoration of the place. We host a celebration dinner at the courtyard. The team has put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable evening. The pool area is always nice to spend your day, or just for a dip after a hot day in Chinag Mai or Elephant Nature Park. The hotel does not accept children so the place is quiet. Few of my friends had massages by the pool and they were all happy with the treatment. We were very happy we came back to this lovely hotel and in fact few of us are already planning for our next trip. I have stayed at so many hotels globally, but Rachmankha is just a special place."Villa Mathis: "Very good value for money in a high-end boutique hotel"
Tasteful hotel displayed along 5 "villas" (sort of open-air living rooms), each of them with its own swimming pool. Around each villa, there are about 5 independent rooms, mostly with open-air bathrooms (Bali style). Beautiful gardens.Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Calming and traquil setting"
Beautiful gardens wrapped around central pond/lake overflowing with blossoming lotus flowers ... truly beautiful. Salt water pool, good kitchen and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms but shower recess could be better. Photos evidence a visit by Brad and Angelina Jolie staying here ... this speaks for itself. Quiet retreat at the end of sometimes frantic days.Reverie Siam: "Out of this world experience"
"We are so glad we booked that place. It was a family reunion and we couldn't have wished for more. It is not only the place itself which is just amazing but the staff as well whom are all so genuinely friendly and warm. Everything was perfect from the time we checked in until out and this memories will last for long. Spoil yourself and book the villas, they are just simply perfect. Thanks, keep up the great work and see you soon again !"Rachamankha: "A most enjoyable stay."
"I spent four nights here recently with my wife, son and his girlfriend. We had two deluxe rooms next to each other, but not adjoining. The hotel and it's staff were superb with a ""special mention"" for Paul Walker, the General Manager who could not have been more helpful and charming. The atmosphere is calm and serene, as is the Chinese inspired architecture, and is totally conducive to relaxation which, in our case, is exactly what was needed. The location is in the old city, but a short Tuk Tuk ride from the Night Bazaar and Worouot market. I would not hesitate the Rachamankha to anyone considering it."Tugu Lombok: "Spiritual bliss"
The lanscape was beautiful. The interior designs of each building as well as the gardens area were levely. The building and grounds transported me back in time. I felt as if I was sitting on the grounds of an old temple that had been uncoverd after years of nature at work covering the sacred site. It was a wonderfully spiritual experienceLes Maisons Wat Ko: "Out of the ordinary"
The Maison Wat Kor is a unique resort just outside Battambang. Right in a local village with chickens and cows just outside the gate. The resort is very beautiful with the feeling of beeing in the middle of a forest. Friendly staff and very good foodReverie Siam: "Stunning hotel"
"This is a fantastic hotel, located on the outskirts of the samll town of Pai, in northern thailand. I stayed here with my girlfriend in June 2015 and the place far exceeded both of expectations. The desgin of the resort is fantastic, the french colonial theame is very well done and the rooms are perfect. The resort is quite and peaceful, a perfect place to unwind and relax. The restuarant offers a tappas style menu, which for us was actually a nice change from the more traditional thai dishes on offer elsewhere, although there are plenty of options in town if you wish to stick to thai. The chefs boards in particular were very good as a lunch/snack in the afternoon. (...) Overall though this hotel really is a gem, every aspect of it works wel togther and staff work hard to make your stay perfect, it is fantastic value for money, and although more than many other options in the area, it is well worth it."
