Tugu Malang: "Unique hotel, you will have an amazing experience here"
"I'm a travel agent and made a trip to Singapore, Java and Bali. On our trip through Java we stayed 2 nights at Tugu Malang. On our first night we did the tour ""romantic breakfast at Bromo"", this tour was perfectly arranged by Tugu Malang. Sunset at Bromo, savannah and the crater of Bromo is a must see and certainly if Tugu Malang arranged it, you will end this perfect tour with a delicious breakfast with a view you will never forget. It is a unique experience that only Tugu Malang can arrange for you. The hotel was my absolute favorite during my trip. It is a beautiful hotel, the service is amazing and the rooms are super comfortable and clean. And do not even let me begin about the food, everything is on point at Tugu Malang and a must to stay at when you visit Java."Villa Song: "Exciding high expectations"
"This is no ordinary 5-star rating and I will soon tell you how this hotel succeeded in exciding my high expectations. It all started at the airport where I was patiently waiting to be picked up by a prearranged car that would take me to my hotel. After quite some time I decided to call the hotel to check where my transport was. When giving the hotel my reservation number, I was informed that they had not received my booking and that they were not expecting me until the following month. I suddenly realized that I had made a terrible mistake with dates, and simply booked a room once month prior to my actual arrival. To my great luck, Villa Song where able to help me out and arranged a very nice room for my week-long stay. They also quickly arranged a pick up for me. I was prepared this mistake would cost me dearly, but to my great surprise I was charged the same amount. That’s 5-star service in my book! Thank you! Now, a few things about this lovely hotel; It is a little bit outside the center of town, but it only takes about 15 minutes to get there. The hotel offers a free boat transport that leaves conveniently just outside the premises several times from morning to evening. The staff is very attenuative and make sure you feel at home during your stay. They have a great pool and the food at the restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. There is a nice-looking spa, but I never had the chance to try it out. There is also a small gym next to the pool with all the things you need to stay in great shape. If I would mention one thing that could be improved, that would be to give the guests a way to decide whether they want their towels in the room replaced or not. Considering the environmental impact from all the washing, I believe this to be a fair way to save some water and energy. Many hotels offer replacement simply by asking their guests to leave the towels on the floor if they need washing. Thank you for a lovely stay. I can’t wait to visit you again."Chakrabongse Villas: "Relaxing days in bangkok"
We stayed four days in the amazing riverside villa. Starting with a very friendly and warm welcome by the manager Ms.Atom, our stay was as good as we had expected. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city of Bangkok. You will feel like prince and princess in former times, to whom a perfect breakfast and dinner will be served in a beautiful location. The whole staff did their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much Atom and all the others, it was a great start for our journey and we will definitly come back!!Locavore: "One of the best restaurants in Bali"
In short, Locavore is one of the best restaurants in Bali and in Indonesia. Just fantastic on every level and it offers some unique dining experiences. It really is a fun and interesting restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The food is delicious and it manages to tickle all your senses and taste buds. The only option here is the tasting menu (5 or 7 dishes) as there is no a la carte menu as far as I know. All the dishes were unique and creative and combined modern cooking with local and traditional cuisines. I think my favourite was the “Let’s call it a ceviche” fish dish and the “Into the sawah” duck egg dish. Both looked so beautiful and tasted terrific. In short, we all very much enjoyed our dinner here. The only thing that disappointed me was a cocktail that I had ordered, because I think it contained too much bitters. I couldn’t finish it. The food and presentation was amazing though. So, I think I’ll be back when they change their menu.NEELESHWAR: "Silently Beautiful"
"Where to start?? I was very happy and fulfilled with my stay at Neeleshwar Hermitage. A 2.5 hour drive from Mangalore airport. They organize pick up for you offering a cold ice towel which is much needed after few hours of flight. Also, there is fresh fruit in the car to help you get through the drive. Staff: The staff is what impressed me the most about Neeleshwar Hermitage. The service staff are insanely courteous and sincerely caring about providing the utmost in hospitality. Chef Anish and Chef Deepak prepare wonderful dishes that are full flavored with local spices bringing the taste of India directly to your senses. The fact that I want to name every single department and staff member who left an impression on me should illustrate how amazing I thought the service at Neeleshwar was. Why I recommend you go: -The place has a weird way of making you forget yourself and focus on everything around you making you wonder all sorts of things. -It's beautiful. Beach tables where you're eating deliciously seasoned fresh fish listening to the sounds of the Arabian Sea taking small glances up at the sky to view the stars. -Mediation and yoga are classical bringing you back to a simpler frame of mind. It's like Mr. Anil takes the beauty of the resort and channels it within you. -Ayurveda aims to balance your mind, body, and soul. They don't only sell it, Neeleshwar Hermitage embodies it. There is direct communication between the restaurant, the spa, the mediation and yoga instructor, and the management of the hotel. This is to ensure that all aspects of you are getting the best for your mind, body, and soul. This communication made you feel that the whole place had your best interests at heart. -Ranipuram Trek. Went to the highest point 1050m above sea level and it was stunning. A moderately difficult climb but well worth it. Not for the lazy. -Some of the freshest fruit you'll ever have. I drank a fresh glass of orange juice and couldn't believe how sweet it was. -They literally climb the trees to get you coconut water. Can't get better or fresher than that !! -STAFF once again was amazing! Overall, the place is great. It all depends though on what you're looking for. There are things to do but ultimately it's just a place to getaway from the world and focus on yourself. And they do everything they can so you don't have to worry about anything but you."Tugu Lombok: "Brilliant stay, amazing place"
"We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 4 nights and we both came away saying it was easily the best hotel we had ever stayed in! Every whim is catered for, anything you could imagine they make possible, and always with a smile. The food is outstanding, and the location of the hotel is fantastic with a stunning white sand beach and views of the mountains. An incredible place to stay, you won't be disappointed if you book this hotel! Can't wait to return"Maduzi Hotel: "Worth every cent"
Stayed here for 4 nights. Despite noise coming from the roads outside with Hawkers peddling their street food, the hotel remain very tranquil and peaceful. Love their unique breakfast (not buffet style). Location wise, it's is within walking distance from Asoke BTS and Terminal 21. Just walk through exchange tower to get on the pedestrian bridge. Room is spacious with an extra large bed. However personally I would prefer firmer pillows with support. Otherwise, nothing to dislike about this hotel. Would definitely love to stay here again for my next trip to Bangkok.Rakkojae Seoul: "A secret oasis in the middle of a bustling city – a gem"
"An exquisite traditional house (hanok) set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. Set around a quiet courtyard, there are four beautiful rooms – each different. We had the smallest room, but with it came a dark wood porch jutting out into the courtyard and it was here where we had delicious breakfasts (one morning: mackerel, kimchee, pickles, a delicious seaweed rice porridge and barley tea.) You can also arrange to have a Korean dinner – we had a delicious one of Galbi, lots of small dishes (panchan) and chapchae. To unwind even more there is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees, an excellent way to relax after a long day of exploring. To top it off the host is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. Mr. Kim provided with all sorts of ideas and recommendations as we planned our adventures. A true hidden gem in a great bustling and modern city. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"THE SAMAR: "Boutique Hotel"
Only a 4 day stay,I wish it had been longer. So much to recommend about this hidden gem The rooms are luxurious fantastic bathroom.Only 9 suites and 20 odd staff to look after you swimming pool sunbeds everything cratered for plus the restaurant and food were out of this world. If you get the chance stay here you will not be disappointed . Plus of course it is central to to Ankor Wat and the other numerous temples. The Island Lodge: "Chill out space extraordinaire"
You know that feeling of leaving a perfect place and grieving for that experience? Well, that is how we feel right now. The Island Lodge provided us with much needed healing and relaxation from the stresses of our work, health issues and our lives in the 'rat race'. The world is becoming a harder place but The Island Lodge provides a respite from all of that. Thank goodness for such a place. We spent most of our time outside or on our balcony watching the river life - a busy artery of interest and diversity. The breakfast was personalised - no buffet. Beautiful basket full of breads, a variety of juices, eggs to suit and more. Dinner and a nice wine list enhanced the open wall dining area so we could still see the river! Pool was the perfect temperature for me. A comment about the staff - they were gracious, polite and seemed to be able to predict your needs. Thank you to all.
