You have all the creature comforts of a boutique resort hotel with an excellent restaurant, all within a short walk or golf cart ride to the Pai night market and other draws. "Supanniga has beautifully surprised me and my wife with very traditional Thai recipes cooked to perfection in the authentic Thai style. They are far from toning the taste to foreigners. That is why I love it. Thai food is not only spicy. I recommend the crispy mushrooms and leaves with passion fruit sauce. The pork curry is very yummy, very balanced taste, spicy. While in Siem Reap on business I wanted something with more character than the usual hotels, that could also be my home for my business trips. I found Maison Polanka thanks to an article in the Financial Times. As others have said, the rooms are beautiful and the staffs extremely helpful managing to arrange temple tour to fit my business schedule. The nature there is just so peaceful and gives me energy to start my day as well as rejuvenates me in the evening.Once you enter the wooden gate,it is another world. We stayed three nights at the Rachamanhka and loved it. The room was spacious and we were by the lovely tranquil pool. It was so quiet we felt we were at our own private retreat. Paul the manager was most accommodating to our group and recommended the best restaurant which we were very grateful for. "We weren't impressed by the food in Cambodia with the exception of this meal, which we would love to revisit again and again! Thankfully for the prices (high by cambodian standards but low by international standards) this would actually be feasible!) The food: - Was outstanding, with lots of attention to detail and fresh ingredients! - Everything we ate was unusual and interesting with tons of different components and very involved preparation. Each dish was unique in its own way and delicious! - They have a set menu but it doesn't feel limiting because you can choose between two meal options as well as a vegetarian menu - The cocktails were incredibly delicious and there was a huge variety to choose from! The service: - Was wonderful with very attentive staff who made sure that we were enjoying everything and understood what we were eating and drinking.
