Slow Villas and Spa: "The BEST place in Gili Air"
Slow is simply the BEST place to stay in Gili Air. Effortlessly chic it is a paradise to go back to at the end of your dives or beach activity. Julie knows absolutely everything there is to know about the gilis and is there to help. The villas have their own private plunge pools, garden, kitchenette and a great bed: the perfect recipe for success. The spa is amazing. A bit of heaven on earth.Reverie Siam Pai: "A Truly Relaxing Paradise in Pai"
Our stay at Revere Siam was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect getaway, surrounded by nature with a mountain backdrop in a peaceful area of Pai! We went with the elegantly designed villa that had a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, and a big private garden. From the second we entered our villa we could clearly see they put some love and serious thought into designing this stunning hotel. To be honest the entire property was just breathtaking! The staff are friendly and the environment is peaceful! We spent most of our time in Pai at Revere Siam relaxing by the pool, enjoying the Jacuzzi and eating delicious meals (Lamb & Salmon dishes are top notch delicious, so is the breakfast) at their Mediterranean restaurant instead of exploring Pai. This resort is truly a paradise. We will definitely come back here again, no doubt about it!Slow Villas and Spa: "An absolute treatment"
"Staying at Slow Villas is such an experience ! I've been lucky enough to spend a few days there - and that was definitely too short. The villas are beautiful, solid construction, tastefully decorated, spacious, clean. The open air bathroom is beautiful, and the private swimming pool just in front of the bedroom is great, and even I didn't think it was really useful at Gili Air (the sea is less than 10 minutes away along a cute pathway), it's nice to cool off a bit that easily. Plus, breakfasts are awesome ! And the spa, God ! Clean, spacious rooms, a great choice of treatments to choose from, a professional service that considers your expectations and level of habit in massage, people are treating you with such a sweet care and a good professionalism at the same time, such a treatment ! The staff is so lovely as well, from Julie to her partners and all the team working on making you have such a great experience. No hesitation here : if you can afford it, even for 2 days, that will stay engraved in your memory for a loooong time ! Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "One of the best"
With a wonderful lake view and amazing ambience, this restaurant is worth a visit, even though it may be slightly out of the way. The food is delicious, with lunch sets that are of good value. The service is impeccable, as with people in Myanmar in general. Make a reservations for choice seats. Alternatively, go in the evening for seats near the lake. (It seems too hot in the afternoon when I was there.) I loved the classy decor, with their handmade pottery dining ware!NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Another great visit to Leopard Safaris"
"We visited Leopard Safaris for the second time and had another great experience. Camp facilities have been improved with bigger tents and fans and flushing toilets. The service is just as good with great local food and small details such as cold face towels on arrival and after the drives. Our hosts Sajith and Praneeth were excellent very knowledgeable and, as we are keen photographers very happy to position the vehicle so we could get the best shots. Only one fleeting leopard siting at dusk but we had a great extended experience with a sloth bear. It's very interesting to drive around and have birds and animals pointed out that, whilst there, are not obvious to the untutored eye. All in all an experience that I can highly recommend. "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Very special meal with great food, cocktails and service"
"We weren't impressed by the food in Cambodia with the exception of this meal, which we would love to revisit again and again! Thankfully for the prices (high by cambodian standards but low by international standards) this would actually be feasible!) The food: - Was outstanding, with lots of attention to detail and fresh ingredients! - Everything we ate was unusual and interesting with tons of different components and very involved preparation. Each dish was unique in its own way and delicious! - They have a set menu but it doesn't feel limiting because you can choose between two meal options as well as a vegetarian menu - The cocktails were incredibly delicious and there was a huge variety to choose from! The service: - Was wonderful with very attentive staff who made sure that we were enjoying everything and understood what we were eating and drinking. They brought out very cool little interesting fruits for dessert after our meal which we really enjoyed!"Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant throughout"
We stayed at the villa song hotel for two nights. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with tasteful decorations and outfits. We enjoyed the pool area very much. Service was excellent and staff were attentive. Breakfast was okay. The pho we had was too soft though but the food quality is still pretty nice overall. The only thing is we won't recommend it if you travel with elderly and young children. We got in at 3am with two young kids; they cried for bath and people next door were banging on the divided door complaining about our noise which we had hard time to control. One other minor complaint is the smell of the hotel. The sewage system of the pool area isn't designed well enough that from time to time there's off putting smell coming from the fence area. If they could fix that, the place is really a gem for couples!Mathis Retreat: "Perfect, Peaceful Stay in Ubud"
The Kenanga hotel was so beautiful and peaceful. I went there with a friend of mine over the holidays, and the staff was very accommodating. The lovely woman who owns the hotel was very sweet as well, and gave us great recommendations for good restaurants in the area. The hotel is located a little bit outside of Ubud, but close enough that it is only a short, inexpensive taxi from the main town center. There is also a free shuttle from the hotel to and from the center of town during the day. The infinity pool at the hotel overlooks the rice paddies, and the rooms were beautiful and very clean. The wifi is a little spotty in the rooms, but works great in the lobby, restaurant, and by the pool. I would definitely visit this hotel again!Mie Cafe: "Delicious, calm restaurant!"
Near our hotel (Meridian)so a convenient tuc tuc ride for $2. Lovely and calm venue after a busy day out! Pork spare ribs yummy!! Great meal! Service impeccable Thanks!Tugu Bali: "An amazing experience"
A few days ago my wife and I were fortunate enough to have the absolute pleasure of staying at the amazingly beautiful TUGU HOTEL. We cannot be more complimentary about the facilities, the ambiance and the staff, who themselves left us in awe at their willingness to please us at every opportunity. We dined at the adjoining Ji Restaurant which should be placed on everyone's 'TO DO' list, as dining there is remarkable....the food, the staff, and the cocktails are beyond compare. A truly exhilarating experience and the Balinese Dancers were a cultural 'plus' and one that we are very keen to repeat!
