Slow Villas and Spa: "Wonderful honeymoon get-away"
"My wife and I spent two nights on Gili Air as part of our honeymoon and were very happy with our stay at the Slow Villas. From the welcoming folks at reception to the lovely spa staff, everyone was very nice and accommodating. The island can be quite rustic (i.e., intermittent power loss, transportation by horse-drawn carriage, etc ) but the Slow Villas provide a more modern, luxurious option (private villa and pool) with its own rustic charm (outdoor bathroom, mosquito net, etc). Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting to the island. Stayed September 2016, traveled as a couple"Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Jing’s Residence: "Jing’s is an Amazing Experience!"
"Our family of four (kids ages 13 and 11) stayed 2 nights in 2 Courtyard Suites in June. The suites were directly across from each other in the first courtyard off of the hotel lobby. We wanted one room with 2 beds, but all the rooms have only one bed, which worked just fine because the beds are massive. The quality of the rooms and amenities is luxurious. Everything was spotless and tastefully done in a traditional Chinese courtyard style. The common areas of the hotel are fantastic. The hotel is expensive for Pingyao standards, but is a great value when considering the additional service and in-room amenities. The location is directly in the center of old town, but just off of the busiest pedestrian street. It is an easy walk to any restaurant or attraction in the old town. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was very peaceful and quiet. Everyone slept great. The AC worked extremely well. Everything in the bathroom worked well, but was a little tight on space. There is limited light over the bathroom sink. The wifi worked well from our rooms. The service at the hotel is very high quality and everyone is extremely friendly. The breakfast is high quality, and made to order, but somewhat limited. Both western and eastern options are available. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea both days, which was simple, but well done. We had an amazing experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a unique traditional courtyard style hotel with fantastic service and all the modern amenities. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Pingyao."Villa Song: "An amazing oasis of calm"
HCMC is a crazy, busy, polluted, energetic, frenetic place to visit and Villa Song is a gentle oasis of calm on the river where you can unwind from a busy day in the city. If you want to be right at the heart of the city, this probably isn't the place for you, as it's some way out... but having said that, they have a private boat service to take guests into town that operates throughout the day. I found it far better to be out of the city and to have a quieter place to stay instead. The spa is good, the pool is fab and the views, accommodation, food and service are totally worth the premium. Thoroughly recommended!Supanniga Eating Room: "Best view and yummy food"
We booked the table on the email roughly one month before the event. We get the nice table and the food was so fantastically nice, well blend and so smooth. We were so impressed and amused by the view of Arun temple. The price is nice and we get quite satisfy with all!!!Inle Princess Resort: "Wonderfully relaxing"
We felt at home as soon as we arrived at this lovely resort. We had a lake view chalet close to the boat dock but there was no noise disturbance as boats are not allowed to use power engines when approaching the resort. The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. We loved sitting out on the verandah and taking in the lovely views. The resort handicraft centre is great if you want to try your hand at pottery, Shan paper making, weaving or a range of other handicrafts. The food is very good and the service excellent.Inle Princess Resort: "A “must” stay here"
Superb Hotel with a unique approach by boat with the very unique rowing style to get you there! Simply beautiful location and fab rooms. We stayed in a lake house which I really can't fault. It has a rustic charm but with all the extras that you expect in a 5 star hotel. The outside shower is a nice touch and really good! the whole resort is beautifully maintained and we would have like to have stayed a while longer. There is only one restaurant but it does have an extensive menu and the food is good. if there is any criticism, the dining room lacks a little atmosphere but really not a significant point and would not deter me from returning. Also fab spa! We didn't use the pool but that too looked wonderful. maybe next time!Maison Polanka: "Total satisfaction"
A calm oasis after a day visiting temples and museums. Helpful and responsive staff, always obliging and willing to go that extra mile. Food is always fresh and delightful. The gardens and the pool are are so beautiful and relaxing. The office staff are particularly efficient in suggesting and arranging tourist activities and guidesYandabo Home: "A little luxury in a surprising location"
"Ok let's start at the beginning. Yandabo is a small village on the edge of the irrawaddy river. Its only recently got electricity and is home to a very traditional way of life with the local village making pottery by ways long forgotten by the western world! So if you come here expecting fine dining, satellite TV, tarred roads and modern communication you might be disappointed. The Yandabo is however very well equipped with fantastic rooms which surpasses most city rooms, with a cavernous bathroom and a bedroom that is simply luxurious. Comfort is without compromise. The service too is fantastic with staff available and enthusiastic to give you as much as they can.. Food is of a very high standard too. All in all the Yandabo has achieved a remarkable level of accommodation considering it's location and I would happily recommend anyone to stay here."Summertime Villa: "Nice Place"
"Ive been to Goa several times but I had the most Luxurious time while visiting Summertime. . . . . Spacious rooms & a pool to die for…"
