Rachamankha: "Amber from Seattle"

Beautifully designed boutique hotel on the edge of Old Town. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Restaurant has great food at good prices. I would not hesitate to return here for my escape to serenity in Chiang Mai.

David’s Kitchen: "Wow, what a fabulous French cuisine restaurant. Food and service excellent"

Visited David's Kitchen with friends and was pleasantly surprised at the ambience of the restaurant. You could not get any better food and service in Paris itself. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Chiang Mai.

David’s Kitchen: "A perfect Treat"

Review by: Todd R | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I were looking for a nice date spot while in Chiang Mai. While we were having a blast eating street food all over Bangkok and Chiang Mai, it was time for a nice change of pace. Somehow we got into David's last minute and had one of the best dinners of our lives. From the moment you enter the driveway to the restaurant the staff was attentive, professional and engaging. Make a Reservation in advance! The food was fantastic and we got to meet David himself. We eat out a lot and have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the globe and David's Kitchen truly stacks up against the best. The 180 day aged beef tenderloin is one of the top 3 steaks we have eaten but everything we had was fantastic! After dinner there is a great little piano bar as part of the restaurant before the main dining room where we had some delicious cocktails and listened to music. David, his wife and their team have created an amazing little place and I would recommend it to anyone! Make a Reservation, I imagine most do not get as lucky as we did with getting in last minute!"

Maison Polanka: "A Delight"

Review by: Clare H | Source: Trip Advisor
We stopped in Cambodia for five days on the way back to Australia from Europe. We wanted a few relaxing days in a warm climate to beat the jet lag and wind down from a busy family-oriented trip to the UK. Maison Polanka was everything we had hoped for from the friendly greeting at the airport from Sopharin, the beautiful compound, stylish and comfortable room and the fantastic staff, including Francis and Cathy . It really is a special place that comes to feel like it might be your very own! The food is wonderful, which can be unusual for in-house hotel kitchens, and we ate in several times as a result. Maison Polanka organised a full day temple tour for us with the delightful and knowledgeable guide Mr Kim Chour and our inimitable tuk tuk driver for the week, Mr Binthoun. Both were friendly and just great. All in all, it was a really good experience and a brilliant hotel - we hope to return ❤️ We would also like to give the Phare Circus a plug, a truly fun night out and a great cause!

arumdalu: "a hidden gem filled with surprises!"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: tripadvisor.com
We never expect to find such a refine place at the very southern tip of Belitung island. A very creative and delicate cuisine, sustainable practices to save energy or natural fogging, an attentive service, large villa with private pool, 800m of white sand beach and beautiful landscape. Only recommend to people who appreciate quiet beauty!!!

Rahai’i Pangun: "Best jungle boat experience"

My first jungle experience in Borneo on a beautiful wood boat, excellent food and friendly staff. Loved it!

Amata Lanna: "Gorgeous boutique hotel"

Review by: Louise B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were moved here as they needed to check the electric shower in our other hotel. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel very beautifully decorated in old Lanna style Thai decor with ornate wooden features . The staff are very welcoming and you are warmly greeted and offered a welcome drink in the small reception area. The rooms are all set around a pool and there are lots of little seating areas and a cute little path over a pond to the toilet. The room itself was decorated with plush Thai fabrics, wooden artefacts and had a beautiful, huge bathtub, where you could enjoy a candlelit bath. I loved bed that the bath and shower products were in pot bottles with stoppers instead of plastic and there was a cute little elephant soap dish with an elephant soap inside. The location is close to the hustle and bustle and near the nightmarkets but the hotel offers a tranquil respite from all the noise. It was lovely to sit outside at night as the lights from the pool and the garden made it very peaceful. We had to leave for an early flight to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi and for mango sticky rice and coffee delivered to our room before we left. I would definitely stay here again."

Locavore: "Put Locavore on your bucket list"

Review by: Robert O | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had heard rumours that the food at Locavore was the best in Bali. I've been around...this is the best I have experienced ! Some consider it expensive at about USD$60 a head with wine but the experience of mindfully eating this other-wordly cuisine was priceless. It was my birthday and I intend to celebrate this way every year at least. I recommend sitting at the bench in front of the team of geniuses creating your experience where you can engage with them."

Reverie Siam: "Must Stay while in Pai"

Review by: D J | Source: Trip Advisor
"Booked Reverie Siam without hesitation when I learned this resort is one member of secret retreats, where I used to had exceptional stay at Rachamankha in Chiang Mai in 2014. I'm not very clear what's the background of the secret retreats organisation, seems it's a collection of small boutique hotel in the world. I'm so happy that this decision was absolutely right, we had again an outstanding stay here at Reverie Siam, and I definitely recommend to all TripAdvisor reviewer who going to visit Pai. We took mini van from Chiang Mai ends up at Pai Bus terminal, called to the resort and been told they could pick us up, within 10 minutes the hotel TuTu is already here. Smooth check in and we were been showed to our Deluxe Garden View room, the resort only have 20 rooms in total, however it occupied a huge piece of land, with plenty of plantation offers absolute privacy. Spacious room decorated classic antique and made us a calm mood. Toiletries were all handmade local ingredients, strong rain shower clear our tiredness away. Swimming pool also surrounded by trees and flowers and butterflies are everywhere, we are enjoyed the mountain view from the pool, and as only 20 rooms, so not often met other guest, so when the time we visited, became our private pool. What a wonder land! Breakfast is amazing! After so many hotel I stayed, I tend to love a la carte menu rather than international full spread buffet, as for buffet, so much similarity among different hotels, I cam remember the list of buffet items, that's really boring, but an a la carte menu are different, it is carefully selected item with sincerity from chef and it certainly delicately presented to please my appetite. This time I had egg benedict and transitional Thai porridge, both are delicious! Only one little thing could improve will be the wifi connection a bit slow or certain area no signal, I understand the land is big it may occur sometime. Hotel TuTu is frequently available when you need to go Pai walking street or come back to hotel, just give them a call. After we check out, staff were so nice, still send us to next hotel in Pai. My strongest recommendation to stay Reverie Siam if you are here."
