Maduzi Hotel: "Amazing"

Review by: Globehopper8 | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed 3 nights at the Maduzi hotel and it was an incredible experience. The silk sheets are unlike anything I have ever slept on and alone are worth staying here. Bangkok is always steamy hot and the AC cooled the sheets making the room all the more appealing after a day in the sun. The hotel is conveniently located to the train and abundant restaurants and pubs (though the restaurant serves fantastic food so if you're tired there's absolutely no need to venture out). The Maduzi is the quintessential boutique hotel with a staff that is unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The mini-bar is free and plentiful water is provided upon request. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning to the Maduzi. PS - if you need anything during your stay Nui is THE MAN.

Arumdalu Private Resort: "The ultimate Belitung experience that brings nature with a minimalistic approach"

Review by: Ini B | Source: Trip Advisor
Starting from the room, the place was definitely designed towards honeymoon couples. The overall interior gives a wide open feel. Both Bedroom and bathroom are designed to have little partition, giving the guest more space. I really love how the nature is combined with the resort, the walking distance to the beach and the rocks are just perfectly calculated. It also has a high end dining quality, the menus are very creative, making every meal a notable accent to the whole stay.

Rahai'i Pangun Wildlife River Cruises: "a dive in pure nature"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: Trip Advisor
"AMAZING! this is the feeling when you are on the beautiful Sekonyer Boat by Wow Borneo. In the middle of the jungle, with its humidity, light, sounds, colors, yet you feel comfortable on the boat, pampered by the crew... from food, to attentions ... and their eyes are so used to spot any animals that we managed to see orangutans, crocodiles, many birds and moneys, irrawaddy dolphins..."

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Excellent"

Review by: cjbroadly | Source: Trip Advisor
"Seadance resort provided a very laid back and relaxing experience for us from the minute we arrived. The location is fairly quiet but a short cab ride will get you to anything the island has to offer, if that's what you want. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food in the restaurant excellent (great view over the pool and ocean), but above all the staff were excellent. They made us feel right at home, they were great with our two young boys (6 and 4) and clearly thought that nothing was too much trouble. It's fair to say the beach isn't awesome but it's still a sandy stretch where you can sit and watch the water, lie on a sunbed or let the kids play. We would go back to this resort."

Nimmu House: "Nimmu the hidden gem of Leh"

Review by: Johanna B | Source: Trip Advisor
"I arrived in Leh with family travelling from Delhi, Nimmu house is a charming heritage boutique hotel approx 45mins from town and airport, surrounded with apricot & apple trees in a picturesque setting. On arrival the reception greeted us as family, very friendly and caring of our well being in acclimatising to the mountains. The air was fresh, water clean the beds very comfortable. Wifi is free, as to be expected in Ladakh it does not always work. I found it to be a great escape after being in Delhi, the first thing i noticed apart from the great beauty of the mountains was the fresh air and friendliness of the locals. I have also to mention the chef who is outstanding the waiter attentive and caring, the courtyard relaxing with comfortable seating and hammocks I really can not fault Nimmu and hope to return."

Rachamankha: "Old City Oasis"

Review by: PaulSmithiii | Source: Trip Advisor
Traveling from the Chiang Mai Airport we encountered a buzz of traffic including autos, tuk-tuks and a swarm of scooters and small motorcycles. Crowded, bussling, narrow streets apperared to be the norm. Then our driver turned onto a side street and pulled into the calm and quiet of Rachamankha. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant where gracious and attentive. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. We spent a few quiet hours by the tranquil pool. Great experince.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Good couple of nights"

Review by: David J | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent two lovely nights there. The location is stunning and the tents are very well set up with aircon, comfy beds and a great shower. The menu is short but well prpepared and we really enjoyed our kayaking expedition. It takes quite a while to get there but definitely worth a couple of nights for something memorable and different.

Maduzi Hotel: "Refreshed, rejuvenated, renewed"

Review by: Shujun H | Source: Trip Advisor
"Was supposed to stay in another hotel w friend but through a last min change of plans, I made an impromptu booking for Maduzi as it fits my criteria of budget, proximity and also safety. The best things abt Maduzi: 1. Flexible check in timing allowed me so much more time to explore the city upon arrival. I'm impressed that at 7am, my room was ready and boy, the next point is the surprise I received. 2. Huge rooms are apparently something which Maduzi rewards her guests with as I had such a huge disappointment w another hotel the night before. Below are some photos to justify my claims. No kidding. Not only does the hotel set up instruction manuals for the various hotel amenities in the most interesting way through the form of comic strips, the management is set to impress and pamper the guest w: a. A huge walk in wardrobe B. A personal jacuzzi tub C. An impressive powder room beside the wash area D. Thoughtful mini bar in room refreshed on a daily basis E. A huge (I mean humongous!) deluxe bed that swallows you up F. Boss sound system. No kidding ok! G. Your personal coffee making machine in the room.... *hey management, you are just so into spoiling your guests are u?? I'm soooo loving it! 3. Location wise, how could the management have understood a girl's heart so well???? Besides being right opposite TERMINAL 21 (and that means you are near BOTH BTS AND MRT), Maduzi is also very well situated near the sukhumvit area. The strategic tie in w Oasis spa which provided 2 way transportation certainly made a girl's day shine brighter than a diamond. 4. Breakfast options are far from the same old same old boring buffet spread. Call me a bore, i was really expecting the normal fare such as toast, cereals, porridge blahx3. Imagine my surprise when a full selection of different cuisines presented as a full meal was offered. Not wanting to disappoint the usual crowd expecting a buffet spread, Maduzi offers a petite line of fresh fruits, yoghurt, mini croissants, cheese and salami platter tucked in a corner elegantly waiting for guests to help themselves in a delicate manner. What is this you call? Superb fine dining to help kickstart your day without the unnecessary extravagance. 5. As a solo travelled, safety is my top priority and while many other accommodation choices were presented which could be more convenient eg, on top of shopping malls et al, a girl just needs a safe haven for a personal quiet retreat yah? Enters Maduzi whose outlook appears to be a normal apartment along the road but is securely gated to ensure guests privacy and security at all times. I like it that the gates are well maintained by the diligent guards and it's not a flashy entrance for the guests but more reflective of a place which embraces personal retreat. The already-superb but can be better areas which I hope Maduzi can improve on is as follows: 1. May I have a swimming pool pls? It's impt that one can chill both body and mind at the same time and it's a pity I can't swim in such a nice place to enjoy the view and clear my head. 2. Blame it on myself for gg back late (~9pm) on a Saturday night. The road outside Maduzi may be a tad quiet and there was a guy behind me who splashed water on me as a prank. Thkfully it was a short walk and I was able to reach the hotel v quickly. May I suggest that a tuk tuk svc or pick up svc be made available for lady guests as a value added svc? The ladies will truly appreciate the kind thoughts of having their interests at heart. Last but not least, I just want to shout out in desperation, 'Why aren't there enough time for me to retreat in my room despite the late check out at 8pm?' My sincere thanks to the hotel management once again for allowing me to have this little enclave to chill, relax and refresh my mind. I truly wish I had more time to spend in the hotel just to enjoy its facilities which I didn't have time to explore eg the TV room, my welcome drink which I didn't cater enough time to claim and oh yes, time for another unwind session in the jacuzzi. Till the next time we meet again, you shall always be the best destination in BKK and I'm sure to come back again for more."

Book a table advance?! We had 7 course tasting menu with drink paring. Food was really good and i like that they do pairing with cocktails instead of wine.
