Been there only for dinner as tried to book but room were full. Excellent service in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive but some need to learn more product knowledge. I had only one night to spend in the city so I was looking for a quiet place with good service. And thanks to ratings from of Tripadvisor's users I've made a really good choice. HCMC is a unique city and this is a unique accomodation located there. Balance of high level of service and respect to your privacy makes the difference. This hotel is wonderful. Although Chiang Mai is nothing like Bangkok in terms of traffic it is Thailand's second largest city and can be very busy in places. This hotel in the old town is down a really quiet street yet you can walk to the temples, shopping areas etc very easily. It is beautiful - you can tell that it has been designed by architects. The staff are helpful and polite. The whole place exudes calm. Our room was lovely and the pool area is just stunning and never seems to be that busy. Breakfast was fantastic and we ate there one night and had a great dinner too. I would definitely stay here again when in Chiang Mai.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Heaven on Earth"
It's a four hour drive from Bagdogra airport and a very bumpy one at that, but the moment you arrive you forget all of that. The tea estate accommodation is amazing. I stayed in the Singalila suite in the bungalow and it was to die for. The interior design was immaculate and the view from my window of Kanchenjunga in the morning heavenly. Food was fantastic. So quiet and peaceful, a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the cities.Sukoon Houseboat: "A good break"

"This is a stunningly beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The quality of rooms, service and food were all exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did a couple of birdwatching walks - one in the afternoon and one in the early morning - with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. "David and his team have created something very special in DK. Expectations are set very high when going to a ""fine dining"" restaurant, especially one with such a collection of positive reviews. I went with my partner for a special occasion and we both left DK thoroughly impressed. The food is outstanding, supported by a fantastic wine and cocktail list. The only issue we faced the whole evening was choosing what to order. I finally went for the Wagyu beef strip loin which was melt in the mouth, accompanied by the most gorgeous paris mash and truffle sauce - food heaven. What makes DK special is that David has managed to deliver the sophistication and refinement of fine dining, yet also makes it warm and engaging. The personalised service and attention to detail is everywhere, his service team is friendly and attentive, and David himself a real pleasure to chat to. "I went to Misool Eco Resort again (5th time). The diving seems to be better every year. For the past 7 years fishing around the resort is not allowed anymore, so there is more fish every time. A few years ago i saw a shark every now and then. Now there are sharks on every dive. Saw mantas several times. This was the first time i was there in March/April and the visibility was very good. I found my stay here very relaxing, even with the 45 dives i did in two weeks. The weather: mainly sunny. I think it rained at night a few times. The restaurant serves excellent food, mainly Asian cuisine and they have good wines. The overall experience is excellent."
