"Stayed here for a first time visit to Laos. The arrival is a little underwhelming as the hotel has no frontage to speak of, just an opening with a road down to a doorway very tastefully done. Inside is a revelation- a lovely relaxed layout with 2 pools, bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with 4 poster bed, bathroom, separate toilet and large balcony. The room was clean had all facilities including fruit basket and toiletries in glass bottles. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast east cooked to order with fresh juice, omelettes, croissants etc. Anything asked for was brought without fuss. We did try the restaurant which was very good in the evening. Slight criticisms - there was a cocktail menu at the bar but the barman didn’t really know how to make them. It is about 1 km from the centre so a bit of a walk to get into Luang Prabang town."MAISONS WAT KOR: "Relax and enjoy"
Spacious Cambodian style rooms with excellent amenities set in lush tropical gardens. Staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town, but no problems with arranging transport. "The resort is set on a beautiful and quiet peninsula of Lombok, with a great private beach. Everywhere you look there are antiques, artefacts and ancient buildings which have been restored to former glory - like something we've never seen before! The villas are very spacious and having a personal carp pond is a really unique addition. "It is a restaurant you can pass easily because it is narrow, but the three floors are completely full! We were lucky to get a table for two because we didn’t make a reservation. We choose a few things and all were really delicious! The ‘Mieng Yong’ we found to be really really delicious ... ! We ordered a second one!!! We really recommend this place and the food! second trip to misool eco resort, and it just keeps getting better. getting to this place was quite a hassle a few years ago, but is now a breeze. better transfers, better boats, better hotel. same wonderful resort experience--world's best snorkeling, super guides, delightful accommodations, good food, friendliness all around. I saw new and wonderful creatures underwater, and every snorkel was a delight. an added dimension is learning about the work that this group is doing to conserve the natural treasures of this area, and to fight for the endangered sharks and manta rays.Manda De Laos: "A delight for the senses!"
This restaurant is stunning. The setting is gorgeous, from the décor to the ponds with flowering lotus, the lighting to the perfect service - warm, attentive and discreet, if the dining was to be half as good as the setting then we were in for a truly special night...and the dining was perfect. Beautifully presented dishes, authentic local flavours... fresh, aromatic and delicious, truly 5star Laos dining in every respect but with homestyle warmth in the service style. The perfect place to explore and enjoy Laos cuisine.
