Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Heaven on earth"

Review by: Amber E | Source: Trip Advisor
"Having trekked for six days in the hills, Tiger Mountain Lodge was exactly what we needed. We arrived and were immediately offered refreshing drinks whilst sitting on the veranda looking at the stunning scenery. The view was incredible every single day and it was magical to sit out over breakfast and just see the mountains in the distance. The staff were on another level. They were so attentive, willing to do anything (which included making endless amounts of popcorn) and really professional. They knew exactly when we needed something and were polite and chatty. The rooms themselves were fantastic, the beds really comfy and the views stunning. The bathrooms too were much appreciated and the showers were very welcome after the hills! The food was five star: every day was something different and the breakfast especially wonderful. As a vegetarian, they were very accommodating. (...)It really is a place like nowhere else."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Superb fine dining restaurant"

Review by: 524janeW | Source: Trip Advisor
We booked this restaurant for valentines evening following many positive comments from friends who live in Siem Reap and we were not disappointed. What a wonderful place this is. We each had one of the fixed menus and the food was definitely Michelin star level, we couldn't praise the chef enough. We had a lovely dry rose wine and met the chef later in the evening. It was without doubt a most memorable evening. I had 6 courses, my husband had 7, and with two bottles of wine the bill came to 100 dollars. Thoroughly amazing! We would highly recommend a visit here.

Talabgaon Castle: "A pearl tucked in the beautiful Rajasthani countryside"

Review by: Oph D | Source: Trip Advisor
"Located one and a half hour from Jaipur on the way to Ranthambore or Bundi, Talabgaon Castel is the perfect blend of Rajasthani heritage and culture ! The road to reach is crossing the countryside and villages. I love the thrill of diving deep in the rural India and suddenly reaching this splendid property. It brings you back in the royal times ! The castel has been remarquably renovated and improved by this family of polo players who are passionate about their legacy. I came with some friends and we were welcomed and by two of the brothers who take great care of us all along our stay. The staff is professional and provided an excellent service. They serve authentic Rajasthani food made with the vegetables from the organic garden. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Chose one with the view on the swimming pool ! I particularly loved the gardens where you can stroll until the organic gardens, the farm the polo field and meet on your way some peacocks and even an emeu ! Perfect place to explore the rural life of India and to relax. They offer a large range of activities in an around the hotel (horse riding, walks, jeep safaris, camel cart ride...). We all wished we had stayed longer ! Thank you to the Talabgaon family for lovely time! Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Most amazing place I’ve stayed in"

Review by: Brian H | Source: Trip Advisor
"Staying here was so incredibly fun I don't know where to begin. The floors of our room were jade (!) and heated from below by radiant heat (!) -- waking up in the morning was so much more pleasant with warm feet. The futons were really comfortable and the Korean breakfast was SO GOOD. Mr Kim, the manager, was incredibly helpful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is central and easy to get to a lot of the sights in Seoul -- but you couldn't hear ANY street noise in the rooms or the courtyard and we woke up to peaceful birds chirping instead of motors and honking. Overall the whole stay was amazing, I would recommend rakkojae to everyone, you will not regret staying here and it will probably be the highlight of your trip."

Amata Lanna: "The Best Experience We’ve Ever Had"

Review by: Its R | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I stayed at Amata Lana for 4 nights, and it was absolutely amazing. The boutique hotel is extremely authentic, beautiful, and clean, but that is far from the best part. The cherry on top of it all was the exquisite, friendly, and capable service we received. We saw the same smiling faces everyday, and Rebekah was the definition of a perfect host. She had great spa and dining suggestions, and never hesitated to go the extra mile and make sure our needs were met. We are leaving today and it saddens us greatly to do so. If we ever make it back to Chiang Mai we will 100% be choosing Amata Lana. Do not hesitate to do the same for yourself, you will not regret it!

Tugu Malang: "Enchanting visit."

Review by: Jack B | Source: Trip Advisor
"Wow, what an amazing hotel! Booked the room for two nights based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The stay greatly exceeded expectations. It really is like staying in a museum. The dining was outstanding with over 200 items on the menu. We booked the Romantic Mt. Bromo tour package through the hotel and it was a trip of a lifetime. The staff was incredible. Nita great and Mr. Smile gave us a personal tour of the property. Wayou and our tour leaders to the volcano made it a most memorable experience. Room Tip: Second floor interior with pool view away from the street noise."

Mathis Retreat: "Excellent Rice Paddy Retreat – With the Family"

Review by: smworste | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were looking for a secluded spot near Ubud, but not in the heart of the action and that was good for families. We have two small children (infant and 2 year old). The Matthis retreat was perfect for us. It was a quick taxi ride to downtown Ubud OR a long walk. The rooms were excellent for 3 adults and two young children. Pool was nice a cool and deep! My daughter loved to walk out along the rice paddy's and look at the ducks! Room Tip: Our room did not have a view, but there was a section that did."

Tugu Bali: "Amazing fabulous decor"

Review by: Cheryl1002015 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a lovely dinner at this charming Oriental/Chinese/Asian art inspired restaurant serving Japanese food. Quality of the food was quite good although the staff really need more training with the menu. They weren't sure about the dishes when we asked them and served us a couple of dishes which needed to b changed as it wasn't what we ordered. Overall though it's a really nice restaurant to take friends to for the charming decor and experience.

Reverie Siam: "Exceeded high expectations"

Review by: Don C | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a gem of a hotel. An oasis in an oasis. Visually pleasing from the very first sighting. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from the small airport (no noise issue - there are only two flights a day at this airport!) and though one drives through some uninspiring immediate surroundings, once you enter the hotel, it is pleasing to all the senses. The garden and all the individual fittings reflect the detailed care and attention of the brother/sister/brother-in-law team. The food, which leans heavily towards Mediterranean is a match for any restaurant in Bangkok, the drinks are good value at 1/2 to 1/3 of equivalent Bangkok hotel price and the live music with alternating crooners are absolutely superb. Good pool and excellent care and attention by the entire staff. Easy lift in the hotel's Tuk tuk to the town's delights. Perfect."

Rak Ko Jae Hahoe: "Best place to immerse in Hahoe culture and to see “Rope fireworks” up close"

Review by: Bijoy C | Source: Trip Advisor
This small very well equipped traditional guesthouse in the traditional village is next to the river where we saw the spectacular "Rope fireworks" for the first time in our life. This village can be reached by public bus from Andong or a 30 minute taxi ride. Andong is very well connected to all major cities by excellent non-stop buses. Mr Kim at RakKoJae Reservations helped us a lot with prompt responses during planning. All equipment including WiFi and bathroom fixtures worked perfectly. The attendant was a very helpful lady. Breakfast was great. A small restaurant next door serves sandwich and bear till late. This is in a traditional village where people live, work and attend religious ceremonies. Outside the village there are shops, restaurant, museum and bus stop. JW Marriott from Seoul suggested this great stop on our two week trip to South Korea. We have traveled to many more than one hundred countries. We were fortunate to get a room. This guesthouse has only four rooms. they fill in fast.
