"The most amazing safari from start to finish. My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this wonderful campsite. Due to the experience of our main guide Dilanka and the team, we saw leopards, elephants, sloth bear, and many beautiful birds. We also met some fantastic people from other countries. The jeeps are really comfortable and looked much better than other companies we saw in the park. The food was exceptional and the facilities around the campsite certainly made this glamping. Our tents were cleaned a few times a day and we got to shower in hot water under the stars at night. Everyone looked after us so well and they are very professional, warm and the nicest people. Loved this place with the super friendly staff, the welcoming owner, the huge room, the tour which we took and was guided by an excellent guide. I highly recommend for a couple of days after the busy Ho Chi Min City, it’s like a peaceful heaven. "This was a great place to be. Everything was just perfect. The hospitality of the staff is great. They really want you to have a good time. At the restaurant you could also ask for things beside the menu and the cook would look what was possible. The guests of the resort have their own private beach and swinmingpool. You can use the towels of the resort so not necessary to bring your own. The resort is not too large and that is exactly what gives it a charm. We stayed 4 nights and everybody knew us. The room was perfect also. Looking out at the beach and with a large bathroom. At daytime the island has a lot of day visitors (depending on the day and season how many) but after 5 pm the island is deserted except for the residents of the resort. We did also the jungle track to the sunset point and that was allright and took aprox 50 minutes. And there are possibilities to snorkel and dive. "The Apsara Rive Droite: "Dinner by the River"
"Stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Luang Prabang. Delicious food and lovely outdoor seating. I had the duck with papaya salad and it hit the spot! My friend tried the soup and that was also tasty. Would definitely try the hotel on my next visit - it looked clean, had a nice location and they offer bike rentals for their guests. A comfortable, modern interior with funky sculptures and lots of light. A gorgeous lake view and terrace to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Delicious food and knowledgeable, attentive service. The genuine hospitality of Lucia and Felix. And it is truly vegetarian friendly. We let them know beforehand that I am vegetarian and without asking, the amuse bouche and other little extras that came were all vegetarian, which was very much appreciated. "If you're looking for bright lights, loud music and alcohol till dawn forget the Village House!!!. If on the other hand you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place. We spent 3 days here and it was amazing. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Rooms kept spotless and food very very good. Yes its off the beaten track and the beach is different, not that good for swimming and very hot with no shade, but once back in the Village jump in the pool...problem solved!!!! Would we stay here again....most definitely. Thanks to all concerned for making out stay a good one. Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the pool."
