"I was there only for a day and wish to come back soon. The room was impecable, perfect with a touch of personal welcome in a card. Our room facing the front hotel but not noisy at all. The bedsheet was super clean and it was a standard five hotel services and facility. The amenities was not much but enough. Small pool but convenient enough for children. Good selection of breakfast with some a la carte menu. The hospitality is unbelievably super friendly. A typical warm small size five star hotel that you would never experience in a big busy hotel. This hotel was beautiful in a an outdated way, and you may find it quite spooky at the back part, but for some, it may be the point of attraction. Just got back from a 3-night visit in Luang phrabang. Stay here is fantastic. The place is very relaxed and cozy. Nice experience to ride a boat to downtown. Everything you could ever want from a resort like this. Spacious, luxurious rooms, quiet peaceful atmosphere, attentive yet unintrusive staff, on the beach, great food, great tropical cocktails, good selection of well organised, safe, and secure activities arranged with but a word to front desk (we had a particularly good among well informed driver called Danny for our trip to the waterfall), AC rooms, snorkeling lovely coral off the beach, and a wonderful selection of towel animals (you'll see what I mean).Reverie Siam Pai: "Lunch at Riverie Siam"
My friend has recommended me to this place for overnight stay but unfortuniately all rooms were occupied. I decided to stop over for lunch which I had nice Italian dinning, good taste, great presentation by the waitress and I guess the owner. My wife and I drove to pai which was fun and stayed at the reverie for one night and enjoyed it so much we kept extending until we had no choice and had to come home and stayed 4 nights in total. "Definitely a must try for call you Thai food lovers. Ivecwalked past this place several times and it's always packed with people and always a wait until today which I guess was my lucky day, so I took advantage of it and I'm so glad I did. Everything I tried was delicious and all the dishes around me looked so good as well. I'm definitely coming back for more. This is one place that once coukd never be enough. "I was so surprised when i arrived in Tugu, since the first minute there they make you feel special. Welcome drink, free massage, free breakfast that i had once in my room and the other time in front of the beach. The staff are so nice and helpfull, the architecture of the building is amazing and the room for sure was the most beautiful that i have seen. We had 24 hours at Island Lodge in April and from the moment we were collected at the main road in the Lodge's golf buggy and whisked down the narrow lane to the hotel, we knew we had found something very special. Michel and Francoise have gone to enormous trouble to make sure that every detail is perfect. The staff are charming courteous and discreet. The rooms are large, cool and ours had a terrific balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the Mekong River beyond. We had a very pleasant afternoon boat tour round Unicorn Island before settling down on the terrasse with an ice cold beer to watch the evening light on the river and the boats of every size and shape. Swimming early in the morning in the large 24 m pool with the Mekong just a few metres away was surreal.Maison Polanka: "the coisy intimacy of luxury"
