Rachamankha: "Luxury retreat"

Review by: Reblecka | Source: Trip Advisor
"A luxury hotel experience. Very helpful staff. They responded to every question or inquiry with great attention and desire to be as helpful as possible. Beautiful hotel. We had a standard room with a king sized bed, which was very nice and comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. Be sure to check out all the beautiful details of the grounds, pool, library, guest lounge area. We had an awesome couples Thai massage one evening that I'd highly recommend. There were a lot of mosquito's out in the evening, although i know they try to keep them away with coils, etc. I'm not sure if they spray for mosquitoes, if not, it could be worth considering. I would have liked to stay outside a bit more but mosquitoes love me so I had to retreat to our room. The restaurant and bar are lovely. The food was good but not amazing. With so much good food in Thailand, you might want to go elsewhere if you are only staying a couple nights. The location of the hotel in Chang Mai is okay but not the best for evening activities, which seemed to be more on the other side of town and a bit far to walk. Rather than walk late at night we would take a taxi or tuk tuk home in the evening. Thankfully the hotel provides cards with the name of the hotel so you can show those to the drivers because we never figured out the best way to pronounce the name of the hotel."

Muang La Lodge: "Unbelievable Paradise"

Review by: haroldsnedcof | Source: Trip Advisor
"Kindness and grace characterize the resort located in what must be as close to paradise in a rural setting as one can get. Thanks to the excellence of the entire resort staff, the location and design of the bungalows, the food and service, you are transported to a new level of appreciation of life. Rui, Raphael, dun and the entire staff are there to insure that your visit is as near perfection as is possible. WE visited The Resort for three nights in February when it was quite cool. No problem as blanket and charcoal fire pots were there to warm us at meals. The trip to local tribal villages showed us a part of Laos that is fast changing. The scenery on the drive was amazing. One day we walked through rice paddies and to a local temple. This is an experience never to be forgotten. You will not find a better place to get a real sense of rural Laos at a resort that combines authenticity and service. It is not only worth the cost but provides an experince for the soul that no amount of money can buy. "

Glenburn Tea Estate: "A lovely memory"

Review by: SandP19 | Source: Trip Advisor
We will be talking about this wonderful tea estate and welcoming hotel for a very long time. The attention to one's every need, the delicious food, the delightful staff, the superb setting, the tea tour and treks are just some of the attractions of Glenburn. But don't take our words for it just go and experience it yourself ...

NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Absolutely charming"

Review by: arlenemattera | Source: tripadvisor.com
"The staff were wonderful, the food was terrific, and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Our guide took us to secluded areas of Yala (away from the crowds of jeeps) where we saw leopards mating, leopards sleeping, and leopards messing around being leopards. We spent two great days there, and overall it was a great safari experience! "

We arrived here after 12 days cycling holiday and I just needed to be pampered for a few days and sleep and boy does this hotel provide that.. The hotel is small with very high standard setting for meals and the breakfast is all day!! Regardless of when u wake up you can have it, and it was well worth waking up for.. Loved this place and only a boat ride into town which was provided for brill brill brill....

Hotel Tugu Malang: "Fantastic home away from home"

Review by: Chongers | Source: Trip Advisor
"Currently staying here with my family in executive suite for 5 nights. I usually wait awhile before doing reviews if at all, but I needed to do this. The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Malang. Originally a colonial house that was renovated and expanded into the current 5 star hotel. Very centrally located in Malang. The decorations are very unique and truly a different feel with the various antiques and furnishings that have been collected by the owners over the years. Took a tour and hired a professional photographer to take pictures of us throughout the various spaces where the antiques are. Art, Ceramics, statues, ancient pottery, furniture, and much more. Staff are friendly and always very prompt and trying to help. My kids actually prefer to just stay in hotel rather than go out to see city and other attractions it’s so comfortable here! Rooms are clean and Well maintained. Spacious. Good mattress and linens etc. Well worth the stay and price is great for a true 5 Star hotel! Will stay here again no doubt."

Satri House: "Sparkling Satri"

Review by: afcok | Source: Trip Advisor
"Simply sparkling. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The stylish setting is just beautiful with lush greenery and pools - both swimming and decorative - galore, in complete tranquility. Tastefully and elegantly traditionally furnished, good sized bedroom, comfortable bed, endless free water, reliable wifi and little tasty treats. We didn't eat here except for breakfast (packet muesli is not in keeping with the high standards), so can't comment on the restaurant. Only tiny improvements to suggest are to have hot water, as well as cold, in the separate toilet and better extraction to prevent the bathroom steaming up. Nevertheless this is close to perfection and we would not hesitate to return. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
