Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Outstanding"

Review by: Chris M | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is nothing short of top of the class! The food, rooms, service, amenities, beach and general 'vibe' (coupled with a near-perfect January climate) made for a perfect end of trip experience. If peace and quiet is not for you then the Hermitage is not for you. It might be 'off the beaten track' but it doesn't feel isolated. Terrific staff. Hard/Impossible to fault.

Tugu Lombok: "Fantastic stay"

Review by: zanyup | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon at Hotel Tugu Lombok. The environment was quiet and serene, the beach was clean and the water was clear. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They remembered our names and greeted us by our names. For the meals, they also prepared well wishes written on leaves which made the ambience nice. During the trip, as there were heavy rains, the original suite that we were staying in experienced some water leaking issue from the roof. However, the staff was quick to settle it and provided us a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite. We also had fun visiting the Gili islands. The private dragon boat and private guides gave us the flexibility on when and what we would like to do during the island hopping. The bendi ride (horse cart ride) was also a new experience for us. On the last night of our stay, the staff also prepared us a surprise with nice towel foldings of different animals, like monkey, elephants and bears. Coupled with the candles, the room gave a different ambience altogether. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tugu Lombok and we recommend it for those who wish to have a quiet and serene stay. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Beautiful hotel & restaurant"

Review by: Louise F | Source: Trip Advisor
"We went for lunch and spent a few hours at their beautiful terrace watching the lake. Prices for food are well worth, especially considering how beautiful and calm everything is. The place is a school for unfortunate and unprivileged youth who train to become chefs and hotel staff. Seems like a great project. If within your budget I'd definitely recommend staying a night or two at the hotel. Stayed October 2016"

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "The Best Experience"

Review by: LachlanP_12 | Source: Trip Advisor
While we were a bit unlucky in the leopard spotting - though we did see one for a split second as it flashed across the track, we had a fantastic time at this extremely professionally run operation. Our only wish was that we could have had some more time there. It wasn't just the safari experience which was excellent, with a real passion to show the big and small animals and birds, but the camp was extremely comfortable with some of the best food we encountered in Sri Lanka. Noel & Cecile and their team also are very knowledgeable and could clearly explain many issues related to cultural and historical aspects of Sri Lanka that we were interested in as well.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Great location & beautiful property"

Review by: Benedict T | Source: Trip Advisor
Very friendly & helpful staff, including the manager. Decided to give this hotel a try based on some recommendations, and also due to the fact that i had a work appointment nearby. Great location & many interesting local attractions to visit nearby. Food at the Blue Mansion was brilliant.

Villa Song Saigon: "A luxurious and peaceful escape from the bustle of the city"

Review by: Kerry B | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our first two nights in Vietnam were spent at Villa Song. This was the most idyllic way to kickstart our holiday. The location beside the river is specatular. We had the suite on the top floor with the little parlour. Our two girls slept in the parlour which worked perfectly - leaving us in the four poster bed. This is a very romantic, charming hotel - the furnishings and fittings are beautiful. But the key for us was that it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The first day we were collected by tour company Les Rives to take us by boat to the Chi Chi Tunnels – this was perfect because they could simply collect us and drop us back at the hotel’s private pier. The restaurant is fabulous – a beautiful al fresco location for dinner and breakfast. "

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Rural eco-lodge with stunning views"

Review by: CathyS35 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for a couple of nights in October 2015. It was the ideal relaxation before embarking on a trek in the Annapurna region. The lodge aims to be very eco-friendly and produces much of its own food in the grounds. Escorted walks are possible; we went on a short 2-hour one and gained an insight into Nepalese rural life. We stayed in our own bungalow, and took meals and drinks in the main building, which has a bar and restaurant. The food was excellent! Our lunches were Nepalese and dinner more European in style, and the breakfasts were huge! We enjoyed sun-downers and snacks in the evening in the bar, and during power cuts it was romantically candle-lit! We were woken early with coffee at our room to view the sunrise over the Fishtail mountain - a fabulous sight! Attentive and friendly staff made our visit perfect.

Maison Polanka: "An oasis of calm"

Review by: RogerAM | Source: Trip Advisor
Tranquil hotel in a tempest of tourism. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay a delight. Nearly forgot to mention the food which was cooked to perfection. Really sutle flavours, we just loved it. Pick the yellow room if you can.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Charming Boutique Hotel"

Review by: jamiklos | Source: Trip Advisor
"Amazing! The decor and building have so much character. The staff was extremely attentive. This was a relaxing retreat in the middle of bustling Bangkok. Breakfast was incredible and something we looked forward to each day. Convenient location near a BTS stop. Would highly recommend. "
