The Village House: "Relaxing and Beautiful, Great Food and Friendly Staff"
Our experience at Village House was excellent. The guesthouse has been carefully planned and attention paid to every detail. It is very beautiful and comfortable. The food here was way above expectations - delicious and fresh and a great mix of local as well as western food. Surprisingly they had a very good selection of wines. We did try the Pina Colodas by Miss Flora (we had read about them on Trip Advisor) and yes, she does a great job! But the highlight of the trip was the sweet and accomodating staff. They did everything possible to make our stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. My family and I would like to thank them all. You should not miss the chance to stay at Village House!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A beautiful historic MANSION"

"Only for who is looking for relax and real contact with nature. No windows, doors or keys, forget shoes and phones, bathroom is openair. Andamane sea in front, savannah behind, mangroves canal, jungle around you. Typical and excellent dishes served for breakfast and dinner. Opportunity to make some really thrilling experiences with a thai guide. Thai original massages in a beautiful setting on the beach. Staff is really nice and helpfull and give you all the privacy needed. We were there for new years eve and was a wonderful beginning with bonfire on the beach, fireworks, lanterns throw. As I said a little piece of heaven!"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Nourishing for body and soul"
We stayed for 10 nights which included 2 nights on the local backwaters on the hotel owned boat - The Lotus. The whole stay was amazingly relaxing and the time on the boat was the most peaceful and comfortable 2 days I have ever spent. There are only 18 very comfortable cabins Either facing the garden or the stunning, endless sandy beach. The staff are all amazing and well trained and so helpful from morning bed tea till the end of a delicious supper. Mainly Indian food ( fine by us) eaten in one of 2 restaurants-one on beach and the other in a cool vaulted traditional structure in the garden. Also serving as a bar and library. Excellent ayerverdic treatments, free daily yoga and various excursions including bird watching from a canoe. Open air bathrooms lovely but watch out for frogs. Excellent tailor on site and have a cookery lesson with Deepak the chef. Everything fairly expensive but done extremely well. Good for individual travellers.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relaxing beach resort"
