Rachamankha: "Beautiful place to stay"
"On arrival to the Rachamankha it was hard to deny the breath taking architecture and clean calm appearance of the place. After staying at a friendly, family run guest house in Bangkok I did find this hotel to be a little bit sterile and cold at first. However, over the 4 days that I spent here I really warmed to the place. The location way great, being very central to the old town. Breakfast was excellent, with a really good range. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good, especially the pool. The room was also spacious and beautiful. A faultless stay. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"tugu malang: "Great experience 5 stars hotel"
"So calm and quiet, not busy place. You can choose to relax by swim or just walk around in this hotel. The romantic bed and awsome Java room design, makes you feel like in the Keraton. Very very recomended hotels in Malang "Locavore: "World Class Food"
"Several people recommended Locavore but I was surprised with how good it was. My partner is Vegetarian so we both decided to have the herbivore menu with matched drinks. It was simply the best Vegetarian food I have ever eaten. The work that went into each dish combined with an amazing understanding of flavours just blew us away. As other people have mentioned the 5 or 7 courses morph into about 15 with all of the extra complimentary courses. They are small but I couldnt have eaten anymore. At around $300 AUD ($225 usd) including drinks tax tip etc it was a very expensive meal for Bali but comparatively cheap by Western standards. One of the great meals of my life. It deserves to be recognised as one of the best in the world. Treat yourself you won't regret it."Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Once every now and then, lightning strikes you"
If you want to impress relatives, friends of your boss, make sure to book (in time) a table in this small restaurant. It is quite difficult to find (at the end of small alley Silom 7 take a left) and when you enter, you don't expect an experience you're about to get! The young chef and his team are serving fantastic dishes. We went for the 4-course dinner with wine pairing and were fascinated by both the presentation of the food as well as the quality & taste! Wines that were served (by the glass) matched the dish and so this place - that's number 1 on Bangkok's 10 best.com - has become my new number 1!Flower Island: "Paradise"
I've been coming back to Flower island this year and have been 5 times. The enchanting island is an amazing setting of nature at its finest. Picture perfect beach, glorious sunsets and rustic luxurious atmosphere untainted by commercialism. The almost private landscape is give you a feeling of owning an island. So many things to do from walking on a path around the island(which takes 40mins), doing the trail up to the islands peak where there is a lounge area and lighthouse, Watershorts activities, island hopping, picnic lunch by the beach and must go south sea pearl farm visit. The simple and healthy gastronomic treat presents the abundance of the sea, salads, fruits etc. I can't forget the unforgettable. memories at the island bar and you can't miss their very own caipirinha. One can't help embrace the sounds of nature as it cradles one to blissful reflections. The most special attraction is the warmth of the staff of the resort where we were all treated like family... a distinct and wonderful setting you can actually call home.Villa Song Saigon: "Superb hotel"
"This hotel is outstanding. The service is spot on without being obtrusive, the food delicious, the rooms light and airy and the pool so luxurious. A speedboat takes clients to and from the hotel to the city so it's a convenient relief to be able to come out of the bustle of the city at night. Room Tip: We were on the third floor overlooking the river. The room was cool light and airy and very spacious"Reverie Siam Pai: "Best couple getaway in Pai"
This could be one of the best kept secret place in Pai. We stayed in a mountain view suite which is very spacious. The hotel is so lovely and the food at the main restaurant is so good that we were really reluctant to go anywhere. A perfect stay!Cuca: "Stunning – Bali at its best"
This is worth the visit no mater how far u need to travel. Try and sit at the bar and watch the staff cooking preparing with love4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Uniquely laid back"
It takes a while to reach this one-off location, but it's worth the 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh. Each tent is extremely well equipped and Anna, our host, is great company. Dont come here if you demand constant wifi or excellent service: the staff are willing and friendly, but are being trained up from scratch, so a spirit of tolerance is essential. Activities are limited and the wildlife largely non existent, but there can be few better places in the world to float on a river pontoon in luxury, whilst enjoying an escape from reality, good food and friendly attention. You can swim in the river, which is surprisingly warm. We each had a 90 minute (expert) massage at an absurdly low price, kayaked through the mangroves, and were led on a three hour tour of the surrounding forests. Happy memories!Maisons Wat Kor: "Refined elegance; tranquil gardens; superb food . . .a charming, homely hotel"
"We spent Christmas Eve at this wonderful hotel. An oasis of calm close to the river. You approach through mature gardens. The colonial style hotel is small but with many areas set aside for reading and relaxing including a lovely pool area Every attention has been paid to detail so decoration is understated but elegant. Christmas Eve meal was a special celebration. The menu was sophisticated. The food five star! Gentle background music was provided by local musicians. There was a short Cambodian traditional dance provided too. This was a special meal but believe that evening meal every night would be superb. Our continental breakfas included home made French bread and jams; home made yogurt and muesli. Options for other styles of breakfast were available. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The Manager and his wife (sorry forgotten their names) also came to chat. The hotel is a tuk tuk ride from the centre of Battambang. It's a pleasant, interesting ride along the river We only stayed one night but I would return and would thoroughly recommend"
