Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing place"

Review by: Alex W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Nice an relaxing. Great service. All the mod cons. Probably the most luxurious accommodation on the island. The Indonesian BBQ that you can order on request is amazing. Great aircon, pool, beds, little kitchen and even a USB with shows on it in case you want a lazy afternoon watching Human Planet, Bikes and lights supplied. Great architecture, happy helpful staff. Massage included, yoga sessions, Pilates. Just Amazing"

Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Unforgettable stay!"

Review by: Romain C | Source: Trip Advisor
"My two days in Muang La were over my high expectations. Everything was fabulous from the location to all the attentions and details of service. The staff is so generous and warm with a special mention to the Lao staff who try and manage to speak English and to provide standard keys of hospitality services to the guest. I loved the deck, the meals all different every night, the pool overlooking the river, the hot springs and the hike to the falls we did with our guide. I loved this escape ... thank you to Raphael and his assistant to make this lodge and experience fabulous"

Misool Eco Resort: "Wonderful vacation"

Review by: Steve H | Source: Trip Advisor
"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."

Rachamankha: "Beautiful hotel"

Review by: Jamie W | Source: Trip Advisor
Aesthetically pleasing hotel with beautiful furniture and good location. Clean and old Thai style rooms, with a deco touch. My only complaint would be the staff attitude was a bit off occasionally. Also the bar the first night said they could serve us but we couldn't drink there, so we sat by the pool with the mozzies. The second night we came back for a night cap a little earlier than the first night and the bar was again closed at 10. I saw a few couples on both occasions wandering around obviously looking to have a drink and chill before bed.

Satri House: "A treasure"

Review by: JACL770 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Great central Bangkok hotel"

Review by: nicolecostello | Source: Trip Advisor
Small and secluded, this boutique hotel was a lucky find. Situated in a lovely area of Bangkok, the hotel has beautifully decorated rooms and a fantastic rooftop pool (see photos) Staff go out of their way to assist. Reasonably priced.

Muang La Lodge: "What a wonderful oasis"

Review by: Anna D | Source: Trip Advisor
"Visited very briefly during an extended planned trip and had to be dragged away otherwise we would have quite happily stayed for a lot longer!! Staff couldn't have been more attentive or friendly and every little detail had been thought through thoroughly to make you feel special. Thoroughly recommended"

Satri House: "How charming"

Review by: Mermozfamily | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed in Satri House for one week in August. This charming and luxury boutique hotel is quite unique with its "feels like family home" spirit. The hotel is composed of an ancient colonial type house surrounded by recent houses -but you can hardly tell, since the recent constructions look very much as if they had always been here. The decoration is tasteful in every details. The pool cools you down when it’s too hot. The staff is extremely helpful and smiling. And the food is just as great and tasty. Of course, all this has a price, higher than the many guesthouses in Luang Prabang, but it is worth any cent. And Luang Prabang is such a charming city. We are counting the days before we come back.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Dreamy"

Review by: emwhit262 | Source: Trip Advisor
"High in the clouds perched on a little mountain near Darjeeling sits the most incredible retreat in all of India. I looked forward to my stay for months, but nothing could have prepared me for just how WONDERFUL this place is. It's probably the closest thing I can imagine to being royalty- such a beautiful example of old colonial splendour, and you are treated like a VIP. I enjoyed the communal dining, where I met lovely people from around the world, and it's pretty special to be able to just go for a guided hike anytime you like- there is always a guide on hand. Though it was mostly cloudy when I stayed, in the mornings the clouds parted and I was lucky enough to get an incredible glimpse of Kachechunga (wow!!) Rates seem expensive, but include so much (transfers, laundry, all food, all hikes, all activities!) that I can't really complain about the price. Everything was of perfect quality. On a side note, I stayed as a solo female, and I felt very comfortable, and my privacy was completely respected. Room Tip: They all have their own charm. Can't go wrong."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Fabulous, a holiday highlight!"

Review by: Daniellef1990 | Source: Trip Advisor
We are in Cambodia for two weeks, exploring temples, villages and markets. 4 Rivers was our third location and was unforgettable. The service from the friendly staff was excellent, the food was delicious and cooked fresh, and the trips were great. Fully recommended going the waterfall trip (be careful if you decide to kayak down the Rapids, it is more difficult than it looks, so confident swimmers only!) and also the mangroves. We spent our evenings playing games and hunting for geckos and insects - with the staff too!! It was great to turn off our phones and socialise properly! I miss it already - definitely worth a trip if you visit Cambodia!
