Anopura Resort: "An absolute gem!"
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are looking for some quiet time amidst champa flowers and peacocks— away from the hustle bustle of Jaipur city, this is the place to be. Perfect hospitality, exceptional attention to the guest’s privacy, clean home grown food. A beautifully designed boutique property. An absolute gem!MesaStila: "Amazing"
"very good place with amazing views and facilities. The resort crews were also very helpful and kind to support and assist us during our stay there. I stayed there as domestic guest and it was still worth to stay. Don't miss the coffee tour and local batik making!"Reverie Siam Pai: "Truly wonderful"
"We visited his little paradise, and were amazed by the beauty of the hotel, the surroundings and the friendliness of staff. If you need a retreat and a calm place to stay, you have definitely found the right place. The bathrooms are just unbelievably beautiful. Will be back, without a doubt."Villa Song Saigon: "Great stay"
We had a very pleasurable stay at the Villa Song. The hotel is beautiful and clean, located in the quieter district 2, by the Saigon river. Staff is more than helpful (restaurant booking and recommendation, helped us a lot on various occasion, if possible they will let you have early check-in and late check-out, etc). Breakfast in the garden by the river is delicious, great choice of dishes. Last but not least, the boat shuttle to downtown Saigon is an amazing experience, gives you kind of a James Bond feeling cruising on the river. Highly recommended stay!Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing way to see the countryside and river"
"We booked a one night cruise and struck lucky as we were the only passengers on board. Even the 4 hour transfer on the first day was soon forgotten when we had lunch on board and cruised along the river and canals. In the afternoon we had a walk around the countryside and sampled some fruit. Everything was explained perfectly by An who gave us a lesson in everything Vietnamese, history, economy, education, social services, you name it, she explained it all to us. Back on board we had a drink followed by dinner. After a nightcap we retired to the small but comfortable a air conditioned cabin with ensuite. Early to rise, we had breakfast on board before transferring to a smaller boat for the final tours of local sugar factory, floating market and rice cake making. Again, expertly explained by An, we sadly said our goodbyes to face the 2 1/2 hour transfer back to Saigon. This was a great way to get to know a piece of the real Vietnam."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Surreal floating paradise"
"From the first second you round the bend on the boat and 4 Rivers Floating Lodge comes into view, you know you are in for something special! You meet the boat in Tatai and it is a short and tranquil trip to the lodge. Once there you are warmly welcomed by Adonis and a cool drink. There are only 12 tents, 6 on each side of the restaurant area, so it is always peaceful and relaxed. The tents are amazing! I have stayed in many hotels which are no where near as amazing as this! You have your own patio area with a ladder directly into the river. The river it's self is clean and deep, perfect for swimming. The current was not too strong. They have kayak's and tubes if you want to go for a paddle or float. We stayed here for 6 nights and there is plenty to do whether you want to relax or take excursions. (...) There are books available to read and DVD's if you feel like kicking back with a movie in your room. There is no WIFI here, but seriously, you won't miss it! I highly recommend the sunset cruise! The staff at the lodge are amazing, they are always happy to help with anything and are always happy and smiling. We would really like to thank Adonis and all the staff for such a magical stay."Maison Polanka: "Spoil yourself"
"This place was top notch. It was beautiful and quiet and the rooms were perfect. But what makes it top notch was all of the detail and the way the staff anticipate your needs. For example, we mentioned we might take their free bicycles into town so when we later left our room we noticed they had set out two bikes but also put cold water and a map in the baskets for us. You can book drivers/tuk tuks/guides through the hotel for temple visits and they always sent water and cold towels with the drivers- much appreciated in that heat! The hotel food was the best we had in the city. There are only five rooms so it feels personal but still offers plenty of privacy. The pool is the perfect place to hang out in the hot afternoons (or any time) and the entire compound makes you feel like you are in an oasis. The staff could not have been friendlier or more thorough. This place was worth every penny. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Kinabalu Park: "Charming"
It was still cool but not as cool compared to a few years ago. The view near the foot of the Mount Kinabalu was nothing short of spectacular. There is a little gift shop that double as a little convenient store. Locals have to pay RM3 as an entrance fee.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Highly recommended"
"Beyond expectations..... loved this place, it was the highlight of our trip and wished we had stayed much longer. Great hosts, good homemade food (plus the tea) and one of the great hotel views of the world. In retrospect the drive to get there is nothing compared to Sikkim or Shimla and I would happily do it again even with a fear of heights. Recommend the Tea Tour, walk down to the river and the little on site shop for gifts.....now feel very guilty using tea bags. Would suggest coffee/tea making stuff in the room, did not feel right to ring late at night or early morning for it although we were told we could..."Tugu Bali: "Amazing accommodations"
"We absolutely LOVED Tugu hotel in Canggu. The location is perfect, the service is AMAZING and the food was delicious. The suites are breathtaking, ours came with a fruit basket of local fruit. The bathroom was half outdoors, filled with flowers and was surrounded by a Koi pond with a beautiful ladle to pour water traditionally. We also had a private pool in our back yard which was a tropical paradise. You have amazing options for seating indoors or out when dining, and the complimentary afternoon tea was diving. "
