Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Very cool"
Great location, great service and a really nice, quaint hotel room. The people are very attentive, When we arrived they took plenty of time to be sure we were comfortable and settled. They set us up with a tour of the floating markets and the best cycle tour of the Mekong Delta area. The bike tour was one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip,Muang La Lodge: "Stay in Muanga Lodge in Laos"
We especially appreciated this unexpected setting. As soon as you walk through the front door, the decor charming us with his care and the atmosphere that emerges: excellence, simplicity and luxury. the food is perfect, the lovely and authentic rooms and impeccable service. Above all, we were greeted by Mathilde Juglaret that delighted our stay by his kindness and professionalism.MesaStila: "one of the best"
I have traveled extensively all over the world and this is probably one of the most amazing 'hotels' ever. Each room is it's own private house, a house that was bought somewhere in Java and moved to the property and then carefully renovated and modernized. Amazing. Property is just beautiful and the pool and spa area perfect. Nice touches like free afternoon tea with enough food that one has to think about not eating too much. People so nice and courteous. The Cabochon Hotel: "Exceptional hotel"
Beautiful hotel - lovely furnishings and stylish rooms. The staff were extremely helpful, spoke good English and upgraded us for free! Food also great - free breakfast was good (lots of choice) and the lunch we had was also delicious.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Perfect"
Ordered vegetarian 6 course and there was not one item that was not good. Staff attentive, chef friendly, food so good if in Siem reap this is a must!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Interesting architecture"
Interesting architecture in this sympathetically restored heritage hotel with interesting history as a home prior to conversion to a very comfortable hotel. Has been used as a film set due to authentic exterior, Lots of information availableSanak Retreat Bali: "Outstanding"
We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our holiday and was perfect after a long flight. The hotel,is surrounded by wall to wall rice fields and is so tranquil that you cannot fail to feel at peace with yourself and the world! Our room was beautiful and we would fall asleep each night to the sound of frogs and crickets. Whilst there we did a trek to a local village and stopped off for a swim at some waterfalls. Our guide Arca was superb, very knowledgeable and you could tell that he actually enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the local area. There is a small pool are which is lovely for relaxing bybwhilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to help. Whilst we were there my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Our travel agents unbeknown to us had informed the hotel of this fact and after dinner that evening we were presented with a cake to celebrate our anniversary. This Inthought was a really nice touch and totally unexpected. If you want to stay somewhere and be totally unhurried with lovely people with stunning panoramic views then this is the place for you.Jing’s Residence: "Do not miss this!"
We spent two lovely nights at this boutique hotel while visiting Pingyao. It is beautiful, serene and wonderfully restored. Our room was not large, but very well appointed with a king platform bed, desk, armoire and mini-fridge with complementary drinks and snacks. The bathroom was perfect with a large shower with great hot water pressure. We ate in the restaurant our first night, and it was terrific! As usual in China, the food was modestly priced and the wine was fairly expensive. But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! But the thing that make this little gem excel is the staff. We travel a lot and I don't think we have ever found a place where every staff member was so welcoming! Everyone spoke English and wanted to practice their skills whenever they could. When we went out, we were welcomed back with an opened front door. When we came in for breakfast (very good and a broad selection), we were greeted by name and asked how we slept. Everyone consistently had a smile on their faces! It was a joy to stay here!Rachamankha: "Old City Oasis"
Traveling from the Chiang Mai Airport we encountered a buzz of traffic including autos, tuk-tuks and a swarm of scooters and small motorcycles. Crowded, bussling, narrow streets apperared to be the norm. Then our driver turned onto a side street and pulled into the calm and quiet of Rachamankha. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant where gracious and attentive. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. We spent a few quiet hours by the tranquil pool. Great experince.Villa Song Saigon: "We saved the best till last"
"This was superb! Had a lovely suite (206) and the lay out was very impressive. Mini bar items were complimentary and there was an Apple TV supplementing the normal TV. We booked dinner for 8:00pm and were a little perturbed with the number of noisy children in the restaurant. The Executive Chef, Kevin Marchetti, stopped by to welcome us and wondered if we would be happier dining outside. We hesitated as we were nervous of insects as we would be sitting next to the riverside and he suggested we spray ourselves with insect repellant which he produced quite promptly. We accepted his suggestion and were very pleased that we did. The Menu came on an iPad and there was a photo of every choice which was very helpful and not tacky like some places we have eaten at. The meal was superb and it was a pleasant evening to be sitting outside. And no bites! The next day we took advantage of the boat shuttle into Saigon which was prompt and a pleasant experience. There was a wedding scheduled on our last day and it was laid out really nicely. As we were leaving, the Hotel were very accommodating and found comfy chairs where we could wait for our pick up taking us to the Airport. All in all, a superb experience."
