Flower Island: "Unforgettable"

"An unforgettable stay! Worth every Pesos! Absolutely beautiful setting, caring and kind staff, stunning rooms, peace and tranquility not find in many places left on earth! Pearl farm visit a must with super interesting and professional staff. Was encouraging to see the environmental programmes supported by the resort and the pearl business. Clean, clear ocean with the best snorkelling in Palawan. Thank you so much to all the staff for your incredible kindness and care. We will return to paradise! Room Tip: Loved Golden room"

David’s Kitchen: "Two thumbs up"

This place reminds me of Antonio's in my own hometown. A great restaurant tucked in the outskirts of the city. Great food. Great Ambiance. Great Service. Incredibly affordable at that. Now to think of it, this place is what "Antonio's" in every city should aspire to be. I had the set menu of salmon gravlax, pumpkin soup, braised beef cheeks, and sticky toffee pudding- all excellent. The additional black truffles felt short of expectations though- void of any scent or aroma.

Slow Villas and Spa: "Luxe, calme et volupté =)"

Superbes villas avec un staff incroyable. Au calme, à deux minutes de la plage avec un service sur mesure et des petits-déjeuners à tomber ! Le spa est niché dans un écrin de bambous et de lumière magnifique...À n'en pas douter, un lieu d'exception.

Tugu Malang: "One of the World’s Great Hotels"

Want your shoes cleaned? They come back polished better than when they were new. Breakfast includes almost unlimited pleasures: the menu is vast and you can combine local and Western dishes. Everything is both artful and delicious and the restaurant setting is a work of art in itself. Afternoon tea is included, with an array of local delicacies, served with the ever-present Tugu charm. The hotel owner has built a world-class museum into the hotel. Seemingly endless antiques and art are fabulously displayed; and the best part is that the hotel supplies a brilliant and knowledgeable tour guide to take you round. My guide was Wahyu, who clearly loves the hotel and told me he takes considerable amounts of time to research the objects on display so as to give the best presentation. His tour was completely involving because of his intelligence and enthusiasm -- it felt like being a celebrity receiving a highly-privileged personal presentation from the head curator of a national museum! I do hope that management will recognize Wahyu's excellence and ensure his career development in both museum curating and management! Reception also has the best people: kind, knowledgeable, helpful. They can get you wherever you want in town and make any needed arrangements for you. If you'd like to visit Bromo I'd highly recommend taking the cross-desert route from Malang: it is highly scenic and also quite surreal in places. I did the trip the other way round by ojek (motorbike taxi), but you can also do it by jeep and the Tugu can make arrangements. The ability to take this mindbending route is reason enough to stay in Malang. But you don't even need that reason. The rare graciousness, fragrant beauty, opulence, detailed service and pure delight that exemplifies everything the Tugu stands for means that you should head for the Tugu if you are anywhere in the region for no other reason than to stay in one of the most fabulous five-star hotels in the world at a price for which you would get something only very ordinary in the USA or Europe. This is a best of the best, a treasure, a complete delight: don't miss the opportunity to stay there!"

Amata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"

Awesome hotel with a really amazing staff that makes you feel welcome from the time you walk in. Rooms were very cozy and we enjoyed the nice firm bed! Close to the night bazar and city center. The staff also helped with taxi's and suggested a great spa that offered free transport! Overall a great time at the Amata Lanna

MesaStila: "Coffee Plantation in Paradise!"

"What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! The late Gabriella Teggia worked a miracle when she put her heart and soul into saving this part of Indonesia! The plantation itself is incredible; the food at Java Red and Java Green Restaurants was amazing; the staff are kind and welcoming; and the village walk to Losari and other villages is delightful! We loved the batik we purchased at Batik Losari from the charming owner and her daughter! Munir, our guide for a day trip to Jogjakarta, tried very hard to show us all of the sights. Tia gave us an excellent tour of the plantation itself. In the restaurant, Nur, Ana, Deby, and several other amazing young people did an excellent job taking care of us. We would highly recommend at stay at this wonderful retreat! "

Maison Polanka: "Best hotel I’ve stayed at"

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and everything - from the food to the service to the rooms - was perfect. The staff works hard to make your experience perfect. The Green Room is beautiful as are the grounds and the pool. I've stayed in several hotels in several countries and this one is by far the best I've stayed at. Every detail is impeccable. The staff also helped us coordinate our tours to the temples and packed picnic breakfasts. Shoutout to our tuk tuk driver Vong - we loved him!

"Me and my partner visited leopard safari last week it was AMAZING!, Saj our guide was so knowledgeable any questions about the animals he would answer withsuperb detail. The tents are comfortable and at camp you really feel at ease. We stayed one night so had two game drives both were Amazibg I would highly recommend"

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Didn’t know what to expect and had a memorable evening"

A relaxed environment, not at all pretentious. You can eat inside or out. This was booked way ahead, which we understand is necessary. Wonderful, imaginative food, served without fuss, but just attentive enough.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Nice desserts and ambience"

Nice and flavorful food. Service was good. Nice crowd. Not too rowdy. Ideal for family or dates. Pricing is considered higher when compared to Bangkok standard.
