Stayed here in a Rejang suite for four nights and loved every minute. This hotel is the pinnacle of Indonesian beauty, design and hospitality. All the furniture is antique yet comfortable, and there is a mysticism when entering the rooms. Echo Beach is right off the back of the hotel - a beautiful spot to relax, read, swim, watch surfers. I also appreciated that the hotel fumigates the rooms twice a week to help with the mosquitoes. :) Canggu is a great town to stay in if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It's away from the crowds further south but has more than enough life, shops, restaurants, etc. Borrowed a bike one day to explore the surrounding villages and rice patties. Stayed here on a friend's recommendation and would definitely return.The Apsara Rive Droite: "Lovely quiet place in Luang Prabang"
We chose to stay at the Apsara Rive Droite because it is close to the old town of Luang Prabang (without being in it) and on the banks of the river. The hotel is small but has everything you need: charming + helpful staff, swimming pool, delicious breakfast, a boat to take you across the river to the old town, bicycles and lots of recommendations of things to do. We had a great stay and would recommend anyone going to Luang Prabang for a few days to stay here.Reverie Siam: "Excellent"
We stay in this lovely resort for 5 days and it was perfect.all The staf are so helpfull and always smiling. Especialy thanks to the owner seb who looks that everything will be the best. We hope to come again next year. This is the best resort in pai.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Amazing!"
I've travelled a lot and this is one of THE best places I've ever stayed. It's truly beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful, and particularly Brian. We stayed in the bamboo hut, it's stunning and romantic. The grounds are peaceful and tranquil and are a little piece of paradise. They have gorgeous dogs that make you feel at home. A couple of downsides was we found the food a little repetitive so opted to eat out in the evening and you are a 30 min drive to Moalboal. However it's totally worth the effort, we were diving every day so we went in each day and the driver was reliable and on time and it was cost effective. I love this place and will be back. We loved this place! It was gorgeous and calm, and the managers are extremely friendly and professional. We enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the river right outside our door, and loved the excellent location right next to the grand palace and wat Arun. Had an unforgettable one night with my family of 5 adults and 2 kids several weeks ago. Amazing serenity surrounded by beautiful mountainview and farm, in which the property host raises various kinds of fresh veggies and herbs. The rooms were equipped with comfortable beds, and the modern style shower was a pleasant surprise! My favorite part of the property...Maduzi Hotel: "Hidden oasis in a city center"
"If you appreciate quality in details - you will love Maduzi. It looks like everything is made of premium materials - furniture, decor and other elements of interior. We loved wooden floors (in contrast to carpet or tiles in other hotel rooms) - it looks and feels nice. Vanity table in the bathroom and jacuzzi and coffee machine - everything contributes to your comfort. It feels very private and personal. There is no large sign on the street and the hotel is kind of hidden. There are only about 40 rooms, so there is no crowd and it is pretty quiet and cozy. It feels more personal and it feels more like a home with a soul rather than a hotel without if that makes sense :) Breakfasts are amazing and completely different story from any other hotels breakfasts. If you do not care about swimming pool, but jacuzzi will be a nice plus for you - definitely consider this hotel. Room Tip: ask for a higher floor -"Sukoon Houseboat: "Watch the world float by"
We stayed at Sukoon for one night based on the recommendation of our host at the Cottage, Nigeen and can't thank him enough for making the arrangement for our stay at Sukoon. The hospitality is great,right from the time they pick you from the shore of Dal lake in their own boat. The houseboat is fabulous with great wooden furniture along with all modern comforts.the staff was very helpful and courteous The food was delicious , especially the Tea (kahwa) and coconut dessert with chocolate sauce . The upper deck was the perfect place to spend our mornings and evenings and the lower decks was the best place sit and shop and also eat the pakodas and tea from the nearby floating shop. The rooms were comfortable and finely built and well maintained.Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. While leaving white threads were tied to our wrists for our safe journey. We were really touched by this gesture.We will defiantly come back and stay for a longer time.
