Chakrabongse Villas: "Wonderful hotel"

Review by: Gregory G | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed one night in this hotel. This hotel is really beautiful. It is authentic and well located in the city. I would definitely recommend it. The room is huge and you have a large terrace. The breakfast is really good and can be served on the terrace as well. The staff speaks a very good English and are very helpful. This hotel would be a bit more expensive than other hotels that we did in Bangkok but it is definitely worth it. We hope to come back in Bangkok and stayed there. Thank you again for the Thailand flag :)"

Villa Song Saigon: "Lovely little gem"

Review by: F K | Source: Trip Advisor
We travelled with our family. The hotel is a little oasis in an over crowded city. Its a boutique hotel on the river. It is away from the city and the hustle bustle. The hotel staff is very attentive. There is only one restaurant but the menu is quite vast and everything we tried was really good. The hotel is very good about directing you to nice restaurants in the area if you prefer to eat out.

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Respite amid the bustle of Siem Reap"

Review by: travel-lms | Source: Trip Advisor
"We enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Suites. Service is top notch, with water and a cool towel in the car that meets your flight. The staff were friendly and helpful, and liked to practice their English. Our room was spacious, with a seating area separated from the bedroom by a curtain. Turndown service brought fresh water and clean towels. It was quiet and the room was secluded from other rooms. Breakfast was great, you could order everything or one thing! Everything we tried was delicious. We took tuktuk into town for dinner, there was almost always one waiting, and the front desk would call for one at peak times. While the location is a little far from pub street, we enjoyed being away from the crowds. We chose the hotel because we wanted quiet and to make sure we had a good guide to tour Angkor and the surrounding Wats. The hotel arranged our driver and guide for 2 days. Our guide, Chan spoke good English. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the temples, culture, and history from him. The driver was cordial and knew when to offer cool towels and water. We exchanged email with the hotel tour desk before our arrival to ensure we saw the key sights we were interested in. Our one suggestion would be for Chan to be a little more communicative about what was next, so we would know whether to bring snacks or water with us. "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing"

Review by: OKWhite | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and I stayed at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge in October for 5 nights and it was simply not enough! We loved the resort, its surroundings, tours and people working in it so much, that we felt like staying there forever! It was superb! The journey to the resort is spectacular! Nature surrounding the lodge is simply magnificent! Real paradise! We truly loved it! The lodge itself is wonderful, very well laid-out and well-decorated. Rooms are really spacious and the shower wooden cabin is fabulous! Tours are fabulous! Really interesting and definitely worth taking. The lovely guides are incredibly accommodating and very friendly. In fact, they were fantastic. We really enjoyed our time with them and we actually wish we took few more tours with them. The wonderful restaurant requires a special praise! It was superb!!!! The food was delicious and really plentiful. We were spoilt and we loved it! And the wonderful and really talented chef is only 17! His food was superb! Gordon Ramsey has a serious competition there! The wonderful young men working at the front of the house and restaurant were incredibly sweet and hospitable! They were true gentlemen! Incredibly welcoming and kind. We will definitely miss everyone at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge! It was superb! Huge thank you to everyone at the resort for making our time simply magical! With much appreciation, Olga and Alan White from Ireland!"

Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Location"

Review by: Gordon25_11 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is on Lake Inle and the arrival by lake boat with the traditional leg rower is truly unforgettable. Our room was right on the lakeside with a verandah with easy chairs and loungers. The wildlife comes to you. The staff were brilliant, even managing breakfast at 5 in the morning on two occasions. Restaurant was spacious with very attentive staff. There was the option of eating outside on the verandah. Lanterns, torches and mosquito repellent were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

Hotel Tugu Malang: "Great historical place!"

Review by: KingofKongs | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a pleasure to stay at Tugu. This hotel is like a museum -- antique collections from through out Java with some twist of local chinese immigrants house in a very nice Dutch colonial era building(s). Do not miss the complimentary afternoon teatime and snacks. You will also enjoy Melati restaurant located next to the swimming pool serving great traditional and western dishes. I recommend the ZAMRUD room (a step up) — larger than king size bed, huge handmade round bathtub and so on. We wish we had more time to explore the hotel. Perhaps next time."

Chakrabongse Villas: "Sublime oasis"

Review by: RobinandKaren | Source: tripadvisor.com
While expensive by any town's standard this calm in the storm of sensations that is Bankok is worth it. Ms Atom and the staff are so welcoming we felt like family (in a good way), maybe even royalty. The food, both breakfast and a diner, are first rate. And you can eat while you watch the constant parade of boats on the river, most entertaining. The flower market just down the street is fascinating, especially at night. Must see sights abound in the neighborhood and the water bus-boat stops are just around the corner to take you up or down river.  Skip the in room drinks and grab your refreshments from any of several shops (even 7 Eleven) along the street. Lounge by the pool or sit on one of the the riverside decks. The sunset can be fabulous.

Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic Hotel away from the hustle & bustl"

Review by: Joshfrancesca | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at Villa Song for a few days while we explored Ho Chi Minh City, located out of the centre but a quick taxi ride away, which offers a quite oasis after being in the hustle and bustle. The hotel, accommodation, facilities and staff are exceptional! Can strongly recommend the food as Chef Kevin is a culinary genius. We will be back next time we are visiting Vietnam :)"

Sukoon Houseboat: "Wonderful stay"

Review by: llewellynroger | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had 4 nights on this beautiful houseboat and it was everything we had hoped for. Its position is on a quieter part of the lake with amazing views. The staff are charming and attentive, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable with large bathrooms. The food is good, vegetarians are catered for. The large sun deck has comfortable chairs to enjoy the view, and we also had breakfast and lunch there. Free wifi in the public areas. Our stay was over far too soon, wish we could have stayed longer!"
