"You have to sail in a small canoe for a few minutes before getting there, it's very quiet and beatiful surrranded by nature. We were there in a cold season so at night they make a fireplace in room which keep youwarm all night long. All villas have a huge window and terrase to look at the lake and rest. There are planty of birds around and night is full of ""singing "" frogs! There are mosquitos not too many, that's normal at lake side! Dinner is served in hotel restaurant and it s veru tasty as the breakfast a'la carte. Going to town for food is nonsense. All staff is doing their best to keep you in good mood. PS. "Very interesting layout. Our suite was on the second floor with a huge Japanese style tin bath and great ocean view. Very rustic appearance, but with all modern conveniences. Our daughter's suite had a plunge pool and koi pond. The best aspects of the hotel were the perfect service, and the large grassy lawn space next to the beach. By the second day the wait staff knew us by name. Be sure to try one of their many specialty prix fixe dinners. Not much to do outside the resort, compared to other areas of Bali, but that's OK."Sukoon Houseboat: "A superbly spiritual and idyllic destination"
This is a houseboat location on Lake Dal, Srinigar. It has been upgraded in the last three years and is an excellent experience for anyone looking for tranquillity in this kind of environment. Recent political disturbances will affect current travellers and will not be recommended by the UK foreign Office but once the troubles settle down again it will still be the perfect Kashmir experience. We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking the private beach and sea. The room was luxurious, the staff were attentive and our over night stay was romantic. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant staff, who forget to bring us our drinks and the food wasn't that great. "This was our third visit to Tugu and it never fails to impress. The serene Balinese architecture and stunning gardens make this one of our favourite hotels. This is somewhere that you stay and feel that you are the only people there. The staff are excellent, there when you need them, yet allowing you the space to truly relax. The hotel offers a fantastic range of massage treatments and healthy yoga sessions if wanted, or just relax by the pool. Canggu itself has transformed over the last 2 years, with a huge range of fantastic restaurants nearby, yet it still retains the laid back feel that is missing in other parts of Bali. With a collection of Javanese and Chinese art to make a museum jealous and good rooms, pool, and food - what more could you want. Staff friendly and helpful. "If you're reading through these reviews then I think you have already made up your mind to stay here. And you are making the right decision!! This has to be the best little boutique hotel to stay in Bangkok. The service is 5 star and the decor of the hotel makes you want to fully unpack and call it your new home. When I go back, I will make sure I stay a whole week. 2 nights was so short that I almost cried leaving. Do not miss the restaurant! I wish we had had more than one dinner there. "after a relaxed day and a nice sunset at Pai Canyon we went to Reverie Siam to have dinner..... the best choice in the whole area if you like fine dining in an supernatural calm and beautiful surrounding we had 3 cocktails for the beginning soups appetizers 3 main courses desert plus 2 bottles of wine and coffee waiters in a nice dress with a perfect service food and drinks 100% perfect live music with excellent musicians and the full moon in company ;) can´t have more join them for an unforgettable time and special thank s to the team of Reverie Siam"Cuca: "Special Anniversary Night"
We had the most amazing experience.Chefs Tasting Platter which consisted of nine of the most innovative dishes we have ever eaten. The attention to detail and outstanding service was second to none. The amount of Love and pride that goes into each dish, and explanation of the inspiration behind the creation is truly unique. Our waitress Intan made our night truly special. Highly recommend , well worth a visit. Deserves its reputation as best restaurant in Bali.
